My son just started at Vanderbilt. We will probably come to Nashville three or four times a year, for parents weekend for football games and other activities. For at least the next four years but I will probably never ever stay at this Marriott again. Parking cost me $61.46 per night. in Nashville?. Almost twice what some of the other Hotels charge for parking. When I asked the Front Desk why it was so much, they said it’s not our fault we outsourced the Parking to a third-party. Oh. Then I guess it is not Marriott’s fault. We are titanium Members at Marriott and Bonvoy. But will probably not stay at this property again just on principle.

Our stay at the Marriott Vanderbilt was awesome. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The guys who worked Valet (Travis and Rylan) were so friendly and had great manners. We will stay here again!!

We had a great overall experience staying at the Marriott on West End. Stephen valet parked a brand new car and took great care of us.

Location > right on campus

They gave us room that opened without a key and wouldn't lock properly. Called the front desk and their response was...."that cant be, impossible" I was fuming at that point. The disrespect from the hotel front desk. Maintenance came up and could not fix the issue. Took some time but they had to move us to another room.

The breakfast was excellent.

There is no self parking and the valet is expensive as the Hotel is far from Broadway. You pay 56$ per day for the hotel valet, but you need to go to Broadway by car and pay parking again there. It is better to take a hotel near Broadway avenue and go walking to the downtown. And the hotel does not have a swimming pool. The rest the hotel is very good.

King bed with Parthenon view was very nice. Close enough to the hustle and bustle of Broadway, but far enough away to feel peaceful. Very clean, spacious room with nice sized fridge. Iron and board available as well as hair dryer in room. Basic standard amenities though the number of regular and USB plugs was excellent. Valet parking available at a price. Fresh water dispenser in the lobby as well as a small store, large bar area and food options available. 3 sets of towels just for myself was great.

No microwave, coffee pot uses cartridges so I could not brew the pods I brought along. Down pillows felt like a brick once your head compacted them. The worst thing though was the toilet loudly whistled with every flush and at random all though the night.

Ms. Que and Ms. Christine were absolutely the very best!!! We will def be back….

There is no pool and no complimentary breakfast which is not ideal when you have kids. The bar closed at 10:30pm on a Saturday night, which is really early since there was also a wedding going on. The room and view were amazing! Looked out at the Vanderbilt stadium. Rooms were modern and spacious. Hallways were a little hot. Valet service was great. Always very kind and professional. Never had to wait during our weekend stay. Staff was helpful in loading and unloading items.

O Café da manha estava disponivel somente até as 09:00h da manhã. Também não gostei da falta de estacionamento e o alto preço do Valet Parking.

Such a pretty hotel, and excellent location with lovely amenities and nearby things! The staff was very sweet and seemed genuinely happy to be at work.

The sofa bed was hard to set up. I had to move it back, move the floor lamp, then bed over, then up to move the curtains closed, then back again to be able to get the sofa bed to lay flat in its legs. Otherwise, it hit the main bed and rested at an incline. 🙈 I wish the room was laid out, ready to unfold easily. (We’ve driven across the country and this was the first hotel that we had to rearrange the room to get the sofa bed ready.) Our ice machine was broken on the floor so we had to go downstairs to the restaurant for ice.

Great hotel, walkable location, lots of scenic places to run across the street and down through campus. Right next to Vanderbilt stadium, made me want to watch the Aggies play them there.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we were even serenaded by Kyle with his acoustic guitar in the hotel bar here he was working at the time on our day of departure. The location was ideal in that you could take a close walk around the beautiful Centennial Park opposite or a longer walk down to the busier social area of Broadway.

Nothing of significance - if I had to mention something it would be that the shower head pressure couldn't be adjusted although it was ample for a decent shower.

Valet Yon was nice and helpful. There were a few issues with the room, but the hotel fixed it. The parking fees are an unpleasant surprise and there is no where to park nearby.

Travis, the valet and entry assist was very kind with a warm smile. Although I utilized Uber, the team always engaged in friendly conversation, helping with doors, etc. The reception team was also helpful. Great view of the Nashville Parthenon (though currently closed for a few more weeks). Highly recommend Marriott Vanderbilt

It was beautiful and everyone was so helpful. The room was beautiful however there were ants in the bathroom 1149. We complained at first but they weren't really bothering us so yeah we didn't change rooms. The amenities were perfect the food was good. Snacks, drinks. Etc. It was great. Went here for a Tourette's convention. Met some great people. And at the end Nolan helped us put our luggage in our Lyft. He was so helpful. It was quiet at the perfect times. Not loud unless at the convention.

The valet agents were a big help. My daughter and I were staying there while she underwent her first round of chemo. She’s in a wheelchair. One of the valets brought our luggage to the room which was a massive help. The guys always helped loading the wheelchair in the car. TJ was exceptional along with Clark and Carson. I wish I knew who helped us in the first day. He was an angel. But the parking fee??? Wish it was half of what they charge.

The lounge was nice and there were plenty of spots to sit/work/eat downstairs.

Our toilet didn't work/flush well. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 because we got in late, had to walk a long way to park, and weren't happy that the toilet didn't work. We just checked out after we got breakfast.

Room and hotel

Paid premium for close walk back from concert to find mile plus detour out of the way past much lower priced hotels. Then breakfast buffet pulled at 9:00am and the staff couldn’t care less that 5-10 people were looking to eat at 9:05. They were not sharing any food after 9:00…again the I paid for. Then pushed to the valet and promptly waiting 1 hour for my car…not cool

It was an easy, awesome stay and everyone was very helpful despite how busy they were for the Eagles concert. IT was one of the best stays we have ever had and we travel a lot.

The hotel is fantastic & provides excellent service. Spacious clean rooms & nice bathroom. The M Club offers snacks & drinks if you can get access. The only problem during our stay was that housekeeping entered our room (while we were in there) DESPITE the Do Not Disturb sign on the door??! The hotel is in a decent location near the Vanderbilt University bookstore and close walking distance to campus (Zeppos Tower) and right next to the stadium! However be prepared for $600-700/night or more prices (!!) + significant room taxes if there is anything whatsoever taking place on campus. Not just the main times you would expect this but even times unrelated to football games or parents weekend.

This hotel checks all the boxes for an excellent experience. The hotel and rooms are spotless and well maintained. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful and the location is perfect to access all of Nashville. A special shoutout to the parking valets. Great service. This will always be our go to hotel when visiting Nashville.
