As it turns out, I had stayed here several times before, but it was a holiday and I believe.

The walls were paper thin and you could hear too much noise at night

Location and parking was very nice space and well lit up.

Hotel room cleanliness was not done multiple times and days, even after requesting it. Also to request cleanup you had to let the front desk know and there always is a line since there is only one person at counter most of the time.

Loved the location, a lot of places to eat close by and a mall near by you can also walk to

Rooms looked kind of clean but did have a smell, almost if the bedding were not washed

The hotel is spacious, has a vintage-modern look perfectly arranged. It is always clean and all the staff were kind, nice and smiling. The room was clean with lots of room. Location is central.

The room could use some updating, there are no USB chargers, the carpet also looks dated.

I love the fact that everything is walking distance.

The carpet and curtains in the rooms smell extremely bad and musty. Make sure to pack air fresheners.

The elevator in the parking deck was broken, one evening on our 3 night stay the elevator to our room was broken and we were on the 11th floor. The A/C was completely off when we arrived and the room was 89 degrees. Took it hours to cool down.

It is a very nice place and the amenities were plentiful.

Super locations for Burbank Amtrak station and metro link. I had a big spacious room with great views and a super comfy bed.

Bar isn’t welcoming at all. Could use redecoration. Looks a bit like a hospital canteen right now.

Hotel Burbank is a great value! It is in a good location, comparatively affordable, has clean rooms and comfy beds, and overall nice hip facilities. I have stayed here twice now and will definitely stay here again.

The ease of locating and the cleanliness.

That was the only option due to proximity to Downtown Burbank.

We were in C tower - "city view" room actually meant "highway view". Would not recommend it. - Their parking fee is around $29 a night - pretty expensive for Burbank. Free street parking is available nearby (just read the parking signs). - Safe box was not working. - No cleaning unless you specifically call for it - this is not convenient.

The whole place was gross, outdated and the staff could learn some manners

Room was clean and comfortable. One of us needed a wheel chair and it was provided. Really easy check in.

Parking is really expensive at your parking $40 a night..WOW! Also $100 was held from our credit card for essentials (that was not declared at the time of order.) Toilet was so low to the ground and handicap room not available. The food choices at the hotel was really scarce. Both me and my sister are hard to walk right now so we had to get in our car for food. Twice we were not able to get into the building with our card at a difference entrance without going thru the lobby.

We had to switch rooms due to the bathroom not being cleaned properly. Management upgraded us without an issue.

Cleanliness is not great. Building generally seems like its falling apart. Ice machine on our floor was disgusting.

A las 10pm se cerraron las puertas de acceso a la piscina y nos quedamos atrapados con otros huéspedes, tomó varios minutos hasta que llegó un guardia de seguridad y nos abrió. No deben cerrar sin cerciorarse que ya no hay nadie en la zona o por lo menos avisar

Faccio una recensione non ottimale per una questione, ancora parzialmente sospesa, riferita alla prima colazione. Booking - come potete vedere - dice di includere la colazione per TUTTI gli ospiti, ma loro insistono nel voler rimborsare la colazione SOLO per 2 persone e SOLO per un costo di 17$ a persona dei due. Capite che con i costi elevati negli States cosa questo comprende :( Dopo una fase iniziale di contatto costruttivo con loro, non rispondono piu' ai miei ripetuti solleciti di rimborso. C'e da dire però che Booking mi ha dato un voucher riparatore riferito alle prime due notti. Sto aspettando la terza.

Location was good

I arrived at 12:30pm. When checking in, the clerk told me that they had a room ready, but there would be a $50 charge for early check-in, as check-in was 3pm. However, at 2:30 they would grant an early check-in at no charge. I found this offensive. The clerk opened with the fact that they had a room available and ready, but I, and assume anyone else, could not have it without getting fleeced for $50. But if I waited 2 hours, I could check-in without the fee. This is classic charging extra for no reason. Frankly, it soured my opinion of this hotel, which is in desperate need of a makeover. The lobby /cafe area has been upgraded, but the rest of the hotel (hallways/rooms) are outdated and the decor is from the 1980's. It reminded me of an old school casino hotel with red, green and mustard yellow decor. Low ceilings coated in popcorn spray. Dark, cheap, dated furniture with one painting on the wall.

This hotel was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Our room was clean and well-maintained, and the bathroom was large with plenty of towels. There is a bar located inside the hotel, which was a nice place to stop for a drink when we returned one evening. The hotel also has a beautiful koi pond and a nicely manicured lawn in the outdoor area, which added to the overall atmosphere. The location is very convenient, right off I-5, making it easy to travel around the Los Angeles area. Downtown Burbank is also within walking distance, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We stayed on the 16th floor and had a beautiful view of the mountains. One of the coolest features was the glass elevators—you can see the town as you travel up to your floor. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

We arrived about 30 minutes early and tried to check in ahead of time, but we were offered an early check-in for an additional $50. I felt that was a little excessive for arriving only 30 minutes before the scheduled check-in time. When we returned to check in at 4:00 p.m., the line was very long, and it took about 25 minutes to get checked in. There were only two receptionists assisting guests, which seemed to contribute to the long wait. The hotel does have a parking garage, and you can enter and exit using your room key. However, be aware that there is an additional parking fee of $40 per day/night, which can add up quickly. The pool area was another disappointment. The pool is located next to the dumpsters, and when I walked outside to the pool area, the smell from the dumpsters was very noticeable. Unfortunately, it made the pool area less enjoyable. Overall, the hotel had some convenient features, but the early check-in fee, long check-in wait, expensive parking, and location of the pool were disappointing.

The shower/bath extremely loud could use an update. Guests above the room felt like a stampede was running through. Next door guests were talking so loud. Could use some updated for charging phones usb ports.

The pool was amazing and the facilities were perfect, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone passing by. Also the location was brilliant to visit LA.

Parking is $30 per night and is self park VERY noisy - windows are not soundproofed. We were on the 17th floor and the highway and freight train below were so loud at night. Even the air con couldn’t drown it out. Don’t stay here if you want a good nights sleep! WiFi was rubbish.

We really liked the location—it was convenient and close to everything we wanted to visit. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

Rooms are large and spacious. The hotel is a great location, 5/10 minute walk from the mall and downtown Burbank. 2/3 min walk to BJs and Black Angus steakhouse. Has a nice vibe to the hotel. 20 min drive to Universal. Plenty of car parking.

Pool doesn’t have enough loungers or seating. After 7pm it gets crowded and there’s about 8 loungers which once there’s a big family, everyone else lucks out. The pool is bigger than it seems in photos and suits the job. Were strict on 3pm check-in but didn’t give us access to use the pool.

It's convenient, it's right next to the freeway and there's lots of good restaurants. This was our 6th time staying at this hotel.

Location, location, location.

You had to pay $100 non-refundable dollars if you wanted to check in early. This was not communicated prior to arriving at the property. The price with the included breakfast only applied if you ordered the Burbank Breakfast. If you ordered something other than the Burbank Breakfast, you paid more money than what you already paid for the included breakfast price.

Perfect safe location to move around at night, spacious rooms.

Breakfast was a suoer suspense mystery thriller experience, "NEVER OPT FOR BREAKFAST included " First of all they don't have buffet for breakfast, it's same like you go to a restaurant dine in with menu card.you sign the bill daily and they'll tell you it's just a formality, bill will be cancelled when reach accounts department as your two rooms are "breakfast included " first day you need to get email link from hotel front dest then only you will get Breakfast,for that you have to follow the que in front desk, After all this when you reach the breakfast counter they will give you a menu, luckily I always tell them mine is "complimentary breakfast" for two rooms of 5 members family.they will show you which items can be selected for "free breakfast included " booking. I choose accordingly for 5 days and happily enjoyed my stay. On my 5th day of stay (Universal Studios early access tickets, need to rush early after breakfast by 7 am atleast from hotel.) Breakfast counter staff told us the items which we had last 4 days is NOT covered under "Breakfast included" and all the bills will be charged to your rooms.(Approx 75-85 usd per day) I said how come I know all these....you guys not mentioned anywhere neither Booking.com or personal email or atleast while check-in if they give us a menu card with properly marked for "breakfast included " and "excluded" options From that moment it became mystery thriller experience. We were running short of time while these confusion and suspense thriller going on.we left with only juice and tea. Skipped the breakfast My kids were excited about Universal Studios so they didn't mind it that time. I raised a complaint regarding this at the same time in booking.com customer service until now no response. Requested for updates same day evening, no response.

Paying for parking

There are pros and cons, I’ll list the cons first. 1. We weren’t able to get their free shuttle from the airport. I called them the day before and they said just to call up when you land and the shuttle will be over. But that’s not true. When we landed, we tried to call several times and either no one picked up or we were put on hold. We ended up taking a rideshare which cost about $40. 2. We were checking in about 2:30 PM and the person at the desk told me if we check in now that will be $50. I asked what do you mean and she told me if you check in before 3 PM apparently you have to pay $50 extra. So this was really irritating me after we didn’t get the shuttle and on top of it it was only a half hour away. What I couldn’t understand is why not just tell us we have to wait until three why are they trying to milk people for this extra money? The lobby was full of people who were not going to pay the $50 and who were waiting until 3 PM. 3. I asked about booking the airport shuttle on the way back. I followed what they said and the day before we left I gave our time and booked our spot or so I thought. We wanted 6 AM, the girl at the desk the day before took our info and said just be down there at 5:45 AM and it will be ready for us. When we got there this morning, the person said oh no there’s no room on that Shuttle you have to wait until the 7 a.m. Shuttle. I was very irate because I know I booked the day before and I don’t see why we were not on the shuttle. So I needed to print boarding passes, which I never ended up doing there. I did it at the airport but regardless as I’m in there aggravated saying oh we have to take another Lyft back to the airport the man that drives the shuttle comes in and says oh we do have room for you. So we did get on that shuttle and what did I happen to see but there were two shuttles and they were all full of flight attendants and pilots so apparently they were really the original thing that bumped us off shuttle. This is very poor customer service from this hotel because we had this booked already and we had it booked first and just because we were not with the flight crew. They were going to bump us off! 4. When we first checked in and were up in our room, we bought some sodas and were going to put them in the refrigerator only to find that somebody left food in the refrigerator and it stunk of garlic! So after having to take a Lyft from the airport and having to wait until 3 o’clock or pay that $50 for a half an hour our refrigerator has not been cleaned out. I did tell the desk and they took care of this right away and honestly, if this thing with the Shuttle didn’t happen this morning I wasn’t even going to leave the review, but I really feel that this hotel does not know how to properly treat guests and don’t value guests unless there is a big group probably taking about five rooms or you’re in the flight industry Now the pros 1. They sell food and we had breakfast there two days and the food was very good and the people taking your order and bringing the food were very nice. It was a great experience. 2. We got takeout for lunch one day from the bar and that was also delicious and the bartender was very very nice. So both of the food areas had super service. 3. If you want to go to Universal Studios Hollywood, it is very close and very easy to get a rideshare from there. 4. Also a very pretty area and a nice walk to many restaurants and stores. However, due to the check-in and Shuttle problems I would not recommend this hotel. There are others in the area and the next time I’m there I will be checking out one of them.

Our stay at this hotel for nearly a week was a truly wonderful experience. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and courtesy, providing us with outstanding customer service. We especially appreciated the convenient walk to downtown Burbank and the opportunity to sample the local restaurants, which were delightful. I would highly recommend this hotel due to its excellent amenities and its advantageous central location for exploring other nearby cities within the greater Los Angeles area.

Booked through AAA at special rate. Room was OK but but faced the parking structure. We weren't happy looking at parking structure- talked to a supervisor who graciously changed our room to a city view suite! Thank you. Thoroughly enjoyed the view and room- will return in the future.

We booked a four-night stay. When we arrived, we were informed that the hotel had overbooked the room we had reserved. We were told we were being "upgraded" to a top-floor suite, which initially sounded like a nice gesture. However, on our final evening—when we needed a good night's sleep before a long drive the following day—we discovered that the hotel's lounge directly above our room was hosting a wedding reception. The noise was excessive. It sounded like a rave, with loud music and what felt like people jumping on the ceiling well into the night. To make matters worse, the suite itself was not well maintained. There were old cobwebs throughout the room, giving the impression that it was not a room the hotel normally assigned to guests unless absolutely necessary. What was most disappointing was not just the room assignment, but how the situation was handled. The hotel had an opportunity to recover from the overbooking and provide good customer service, but instead placed us in a room directly beneath a wedding reception that they knew had been scheduled. Rather than proactively addressing the issue, they waited until late that evening before finally letting us sleep in a different room and assuring us that we would be compensated for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, that promise changed the following morning during checkout. Staff attempted to backtrack on the compensation they had promised and even suggested they could charge us for the second room they had moved us into. After further discussion, they ultimately credited us $114 for parking fees, which fell far short of adequately addressing the disruption and inconvenience we experienced. The overall experience fell well below the standard we expected. While overbookings and unforeseen issues can happen, the true measure of customer service is how they are handled. In our case, the hotel's poor communication, inadequate resolution, and unwillingness to honor its initial commitment left us very dissatisfied with both the accommodations and the overall customer service.

The Burbank Hotel hits all the marks for us. Great location located in downtown Burbank. Very friendly and responsive staff. Very well maintained rooms. Excellent cafe and bars.

I requested a wake up call at 5 am to get a shuttle to the airport. The call never came because the ‘phones were temporarily down’. I paid extra to stay at a hotel I could trust but all they did was give me a useless apology.

This hotel checks alot of boxes. The double queen room was roomy & clean, the water pressure was great. There’s a mini fridge, they gave us a couple of waters at the beginning. Booking through a third-party was more affordable, though it was pricey for me to extend a night(though less than surrounding hotels, even so), there is a mini coffee maker and ample spaces to plug-in bedside chargers, fans, and sound machines (all of whichI use). The staff was friendly in and out is user-friendly. A great experience.

Fantastic location in the middle of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment! The hotel was super clean and the employees could not have been nicer. This has been our second time staying here and look forward to coming again.

Lovely koi garden for reflection, sauna and fitness center. The BIG negative was the lack of internet connection in our room for the entire week. If you don't require internet in your room - the place is great and clos to many attractions in Burbank area (i.e., Zoo, Chinatown, Olvera Street, Universal City Walk, Warner Brother Superman Experience, and more), dining and movies within walking distance and lovely Koi Garden in the back of hotel for reflection .

Great location, and it doesn't seem to have much competition around. Maybe why the service can be below average. Management did not want to honor an email about early check-in, stating the policy had changed 2 days prior, and seemed mad when we were able to find the email and insist it was honored, then ended up giving us one of the worst rooms on property. Wifi logged off every time i changed a screen and the air conditioner didn't work and had to finally be reset on the 2nd complaint. Would honestly seek out every and any other option before staying here again.
