The New Inn Hotel

Just a little way out from the hustle and bustle of Stratford so it was perfectly situated. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was well cooked with a great choice at a good price. The room was lovely with tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was powerful and roomy. This was my first time away on my own and I felt welcomed and safe. Highly recommend

The stairs to the room were quite steep but there is nothing that can be done as an old building.

We stayed in a double room however, the bed seemed to be a small double which made it difficult for us to get comfortable especially in the heat when we stayed.

Food at dinner - chicken fricassee was insipid and the chicken was tough. Meat lasagne was brought to table but should have vegetarian lasagne. Changed but had to wait for it.

Very good breakfast with a reasonable choice,served by very pleasant friendly staff. My room was comfortable,clean and quiet probably because the adjacent rooms were unoccupied for a couple of nights, with a comfortable bed. Dinner in the evening was very good with quite large portions always freshly cooked just a shame that the menu has hardly changed over the past few years when I have stayed there.

Could have done with a mat in the shower as it was quite slippery and a rack to put suitcase on when unpacking and packing.

Good place and I would stay again. Could be nicer but nothing big to complain about.

We stayed here as a stop off on the way to our holiday destination. I was very impressed with the cleanliness,the comfy bed,and the lovely hot shower. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My husband and I had our evening meal here. It was cooked fresh and was very good value for money. I can recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

We had a very comfortable room, quite big enough for our purposes. There was plenty of parking on-site. The breakfast provided was very good - particularly the sausages, which both my wife and I enjoyed very much. I would not hesitate to stay there again if ever we are back in the area.

Room was clean and comfortable with a modern TV. There was plenty of storage room. Easy access to the bathroom and shower. The evening meals we had were first rate and reasonably priced. Breakfast was a well stocked traditional English breakfast along with cereal fruit and yogurt. All well prepared and fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop very close by enabling travel into Stratford if needed. There is a paved walk into Stratford which takes around 40 minutes. The room we had was adjacent to the main building and despite it being a Public House there was no concerns over any noise. We were very happy with our stay at these premises and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

We don't know if fans were available but one would have been appreciated in the warm weather.

It was 35c in the room, no fans had been provided so it felt like a sauna. My other half gave up and slept in the car because it was cooler! Providing a fan would have gone a long way. It was all quite dated and due to all the windows being open the corridor smelt like the kitchen extraction.

The location wasn’t too bad and there was a local bus but unfortunately didn’t realise but that was ok. Breakfast was good value for money and the manager was hardworking and pleasant

The attitude of the young girl behind the bar who felt it necessary to give the third degree for for asking for more tea and sweeteners and think they need to put more in the room and sweeteners should be available at breakfast, also although breakfast is good value for money and the if you advise that on booking I feel you are vegetarian it would be nice if you had full options and not told you have run out especially if you advised on booking

The only thing I could say, was could of done with a shelve in the shower to put products on and not enough space on the tower rail, but that was our personal preference!

What a gem, a short drive outside of Stratford, staff were absolutely amazing, as was the food, chef came out to speak to us when we asked about a dish. Breakfast didn’t disappoint either. Such friendly staff and a warm welcome. Really helpful on arrival and were able to check in early. Advise on the buses in to stratford. Lovely meal and reasonable drinks. Room was so comfy and we asked for fan on check in which was done straight away. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. What a choice. We will be back for sure

Gloomy room. Poor lighting even allowing for energy saving bulbs - dangerous when making hot drinks. Window catch broken so only one window opened. Dirty curtains and torn on the bottom. Shower tray very slippy when soapy. Nowhere to hang wet towels or put anything in bathroom. Good choice for breakfast but everything was cold.

A great quiet country location, close to all the attractions of Stratford-upon-Avon, fresh locally produced food with a great choice at breakfast and evening meal. Free parking and family run this ticks all the boxes for a pleasant stay.

Room was very warm could have done with a fan. Lots of cobwebs round the windows could have done with a quick clean as a massive spider was living in the window pane…I know it can’t be helped as it’s the time of year but the cobwebs were everywhere.

Always a warm friendly welcome from staff when we stay. Clean, comfortable pub/Hotel with good breakfast. Dinner was also delicious! Enjoyable atmosphere in pub with friendly locals.

Parking was easy. Very interesting village a few steps away waiting to be discovered. Food was good. Could sit inside or out. Quiet clean bedroom.

The duvet cover was polly cotton and bobbled so like sandpaper. I took pictures. I mentioned it to staff but I had a poor night sleep .

Hotel was lovely, staff were amazing, breakfast was 5* only problem was, shower was in a fixed position, so unable to adjust to height , would have been great if could have lowered. Also, kettle far to large , unable to fill at sink so had to fill with mugs. Bed, super comfy, great night's sleep. Can't wait to return.

Very good breakfast with plenty of to choose, clean room and very quiet considering it's an Inn. Staff also provided us with a fan which was very welcome.

Pillows very flat and the bathroom floor was very slippy when getting out of shower, as well as no slip mat in shower.

The location was lovely and quite. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the hot water and the night manager came over and sorted it right away. Breakfast was typical buffet and they even catered for gluten allergens. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Great base location for Stratford-upon-Avon. Our triple room had plenty of space.

It was very warm during our stay. The rooms do not have air-conditioning or a fan to use. To be fair we didn't ask at reception for one but it would have been nice to have one in the room. The double room did seem a little snug though.

A convenient out of town location. Stayed as a stopover for travelling north having visited the Cotswolds. “Pub grub” dinner was nice. My pâté was very tasty with plenty of bread. Desserts were disappointing. Buffet style breakfast serving hot and cold. Perfectly adequate. I did not have a hot breakfast so cannot comment on the quality. Rooms basic and dated. Shower surprisingly good! Walls, paper thin!! Earbuds required!! Cheap and cheerful. The staff were all fab, very friendly. Could not fault their service at all.

Just a bit basic/dated and the lack of soundproofing between rooms, upstairs above the pub.
