Ubicación
Es un antro!, escaleras estrechas de moquetas suctísima mal olor habitaciones muy pequeñas mucho ruido porque hay un mar debajo ....
Great central location near NCP car park
Ensuite door difficult to close
Good price, staff very helpful and friendly and perfect location.
No pin to hold open window and no hooks in bathroom for towels.
Location and friendly staff
Bedside cabinets had tea stains over the top just needed a wet cloth to clean and cobwebs in each corner of window
Friendly staff and lively pub. Well located.
Not top luxury but we didn't expect that.
Lovely old building
Sunday night noisy people drinking, bin lorry 5.30am Mon noisy drunks at midnight delivery lorry very loud 5-6am
Nothing
Expensive for such a run down and badly maintained place, and no sense that staff had the remotest interest in you. No lock on the bathroom, shower falling of the wall etc etc. Then the welcome - "give us the money, there's your room, leave the key here on the way out". Definitely won't be going back again.
Location - easy to find by road, just off the main street but quiet. Good selection of beers and spirits. Car park (NCP) at rear is convinient. Easy access for shops, other restraunts and bars - and not far from the attractions of the City itself.
The back staircase! Due to the age of the building, its quite small with a tight bend, but not too many steps.
The lady and daughter were very pleasant. However!.the cleanliness of the room was not to standard.the tops of surfaces were dirty also the toilet had not been cleaned! The toilet had remnants of the last occupier. Very tired old house. Electric sockets inefficient. That's our room. Our friends room was worse as it smelt of damp and sewage The lady is a lovelylady however you cant run a hotel on your own. Needs help. .
Window was unlockable!until I fixed it. Electrics need attention. Ie extension lead knackered and lamp Very loud atmosphere downstairs however uts a drinkers pub.
The Queen’s Head is a lovely friendly place to stay, hospitality very good, where The Queen’s Head is situated, excellent best place to be and i was delighted with how close the restaurants and ba’rs are! you can also order and eat food here! The only thing i can say is the steps are steep to the rooms, ut customers are preiviously warned of this so suggest you tell them if you have a disability, but i’m looking forward to staying here again. We had lots of fun with the jukebox on! friends and customers get together for a lovely time!
The steps were hard to climb but had help with my bags from the lovely staff there. It would also be nice if the place offered breakfast included in the price. Overall very happy.
Posizione ottima, camera dalle dimensioni generose. Bagno grande.
Lenzuola, moquette e asciugamani puliti. Bagno pulito ma con incrostazioni nella doccia che in genere non fa piacere vedere.
No fan in the room So you had to sleep with the window open Very noisy
Good location in the centre of town
Very unhappy that no breakfast was served. At the agreed time, the pub remained locked and in darkness. Despite ringing twice after 20 minutes I left having paid for - but had - no breakfast. The hotel so far has failed to show any courtesy in responding to two emails requesting a part refund for their failure to provide breakfast. Very disappointing and would not stay again.
Convenient location in centre of Stratford. Very reasonable price. Had spacious single room which was irregular shape with ceiling beam , and was quiet . Bed was very comfortable .
Had ensuite bathroom with shower cubicle that had seen better days and grouting was grubby and needed replacing. Room was above a pub that served food , but no breakfast available to room guests .
Location
Bathroom wasn't very clean. Needed a good clean around the shower basin. The room was dusty in places. The doors very loud creaking noises. It was ok for 1 night.
This property is very close to Stratford-upon-Avon station, just a 7-minute walk. This property is centrally located and close to Shakespeare's birthplace and other tourist attractions. Rooms are clean and spacious. This is a renowned bar with accommodation. The bar is just downstairs, so you could easily socialize. They also have options for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the bar.
They did not provide any AC or even a fan. The Queen rooms we booked were at the dead end of a narrow alley. It has a small window and you can open only one part. The absence of a fan made our stay very uncomfortable in the UK's 36-degree summer temperatures.
The location
There was mold in the bathroom.and all.over the shower. I was a solo female traveller and was given a front road facing room with a bay window that had a broken lock
Personal amable, habitaciones amplias y limpias y el desayuno genial!
This place is a pub for local drunks. Market it as accommodation is terrible
Thumping music heard in the rooms is till midnight - if you argue like us, 11:15pm. Breakfast is a theory - ordered for 8:15, at 9:15 the staff turned up looking cross saying if we really want it it will be another half hour. Beds sloped, soggy and terrible. The works we encountered in the UK
The staff were really friendly and it was east to find. We didn't have ro walk far to the centre of town.
Because it was so hot we had to have the windows open (which wasn't the problem). It was the noise till 1.30 in the morning which meant we struggled to sleep. There was also a black device in the bedroom on the floor. Not sure if it was a fan or a heater. When we moved it there appeared to be burn marks on the carpet and when we switched it on it smelled really badly. We also didn't like the fact that we initially had to pay extra for orange juice. That comes as standard in most places.
We were made welcome from the start by Kath....rooms were above average, not cramped for space, basic toiletries provided, tray with kettle, cups etc for making hot drinks, plenty of water power in the large shower cubicle. Breakfast was well worth the extra £10. Location was a shortish walk from the train station and very near the river and theatres. We also ate an early meal in the pub, which was good value and tasty.
Nothing we didn't like about the Queens Head Inn. It's in a busy town centre....expect some noise, take ear plugs if it is going to disturb you.
The only positive thing about this hotel is its unmatched location in Stratford, right above a traditional pub. If position is your only priority, it delivers. However, the hygiene and cleanliness standards were completely unacceptable and an absolute disgrace for the price charged. When I checked in, the room was visibly dirty. The floor had clearly not been vacuumed, and the nightstands were covered in dust and old coffee stains. The worst part, however, was the bathroom. The toilet was disgustingly filthy, covered in residue from who knows how many previous guests. It was genuinely sickening. When I complained to the staff, their "solution" was completely useless. They simply poured some toilet cleaner into the bowl and walked away. They did not scrub the toilet, nor did they wipe down the seat, the edges, or the rest of the fixture. I ended up going to a local shop to buy my own cleaning products to scrub the bathroom myself. The next guests will certainly find a clean toilet, but only because I cleaned it. The floor and furniture remained untouched and filthy for the duration of my stay. The management clearly knows they have a strong location, and they use it as an excuse to completely neglect basic hospitality standards. While United Kingdom hotel standards can sometimes feel low for the high prices requested, this place was a decisive and excessive new low. Additionally, the pub downstairs is heavily frequented by locals and is quite noisy, so do not expect a peaceful night. Save your money and stay somewhere else. The prime location is absolutely not worth living in someone else's filth.
Hygiene was missing
Location was fine and at £80 a night I suppose you get what you pay for. However Premier Inn was the same price and wish we’d have booked there.
No excuse for how dirty and run down it was. Rooms and bathrooms dirty and although bedding and towels looked clean still felt icky. Door handle broken, windows didn’t lock at ground/street level. Had to wait to ask for toilet paper, car parking no longer offered at half price even though advertised as doing so. Walls, carpets, woodwork all dirty and stained. The list goes on to the extent would never stay again unfortunately.
Very good location and the staff was very nice. The room was simple but clean and tidy and a good price.
The only thing I would suggest that might need change/improvement is how to access the place at night. Because the bar is closed we have to through a back gate that is open. I find a bit dangerous to go around there at night and alone, especially if you are a woman. It's very dark, and it's quite confusing to get there.
Position.
Noisy at night. Cracked basin and a bit grubby but okay.
Camera in pieno centro e prezzo in linea. Camera grande.
Letto a dir poco scomodo. Camera senza condizionatore quindi caldissima. Si sentiva tutto il rumore provenire dalla strada.
Friendly staff, good location, bed is comfortable.
The rooms are tired and would benefit from redecorating (iron burn on the carpet, a cracked tile in the shower, and marks on the walls etc). The bathroom door also did not close properly. Overall, I did not feel it offered good value for money, particularly compared with other Accomodation I have stayed at for a similar price.
Great location, friendly staff and nice breakfast but the room was not cleaned properly
The room could have been much cleaner.
Nice comfortable room

Liked the friendly locals who drank there, met some people from our neck of the woods
The staff, in particular the blond land lady who was nothing but rude to us since we arrived, we came to stratford upon avon for the kate bush day, we were out most of the day and didnt check in til about 7pm, locals were friendly, sat in the garden drinking and chatting, our friends who came down with us were staying at hotel on the river, they came to the queens head to meet us with the plan of going to a local club, we went upstairs to change for club just before closing, came down and all doors had been locked and our friends who were inside said it was a private lockin by landlords partner, she then came over to the window and shouted at us to go away, so unneccassary, I phoned my friend who was inside to say we were going go the club, we would meet them there, landlady then came out the doors, shouted at us to say we were being annoying calling our friend (how dare I) and walked us to the back gate, decieded to just go as we had plans elsewear anyway,, went out for the night and checked out at 8am the next morning. Needless to say we would NOT book this again for next year, would probably stay at the hotel our mates were at who were only too excited and welcoming to see us all our Kate Bush dresses, highly recommend the land lady takes a customer service skills course or at the very least some smile therapy, people come to the pub go forget there problems, not to be met with a sour face and hostility, shame on you.
Good Breakfast
Wifi fungerade ej
super Lage, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, nettes Personal.
Friendliness of the staff
The bathroom was grimy. The tv had no signal Only one bedside lamp to a double bed
Very convenient to centre of Stratford
Was noisy early with bin men emptying bins. Especially the glass.
Stratford is expensive and this hotel is good value
The rooms are not, as the beautiful hoarding claims, 'luxurious'. They are rather cramped and basic. Staff emptied bottles into the waste container very late - probably after midnight, and deliveries started very early, with all the usual holloaing and crashing about. Still, never mind. It's in the middle of Stratford. There's no parking but if you use JustPark you can get this very cheaply.
This was a fantastic find for my overnight to see a show at the RSC! Comfortable bed, perfect size, wonderfully welcoming staff, and lovely quirks for a history lover in such a historic town! It was the perfect distance from town center, making my walk home after the theatre perfect for a solo female traveler. I'll be recommending the Queen's Head to anyone visiting Stratford Upon-Avon!
Ideal location, main attractions all on walking distance, staff very helpful
Some street noise at night but unavoidable in central location
It was within walking distance to the town. Breakfast was lovely.
The room was dirty. Big cobweb, had to wipe the mirror so that I could see through it. Window ledge has lots of dead flies. Very hot but no fan provided when we asked. We would have mentioned our complaint but there were customers in the bar so didn’t think it was appropriate so decided to say when we checked out but unfortunately we were not asked how our stay was. Just a thank you for the keys. The bedding and towels were clean.
Very comfortable
Room 1, where our friends stayed their tv didn't work
It was lovely an peaceful. Lovely area. People really friendly

We booked breakfast but couldn't gain entry at 8:15 to get any
It was a heat wave. No air conditioning
Great location. Timothy Taylor in the bar. Wonderful Italian restaurant across the road.
Good beer, half-decent wine. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, etc. Comfortable bed, and TV appreciated. I did not take breakfast, as I was to have refreshments at an imminent meeting.
Arrived mid-afternoon and perched at the bar to watch Test cricket on TV, have some beer and wine, before being shown to the room. A small group of locals were enjoying banter and drinks, however the foul language, particularly from the women, was disappointing. Suddenly, a drunk/drugged(?) ruffian barged into the bar and loudly demanded money from some person not present. He had canned beer in hand and in most pockets of his attire. Evidently, he was known to the bar person and she handled the situation calmly. Needless to say, that the scene elicited a large amount of foul language. I was surprised to encounter the chap again when being led to my room; he was socialising in the courtyard, still drinking from the cans about his person. This was not an impressive introduction to The Queen's Head. The aged sash windows could do with some attention, mainly a really good clean of the perimeters of the panes and cobweb removal. Similarly, attention should be paid to the shower cubicle around the base of the tray ___ but it's a good shower!
Carina, per una notte va bene. Proprietario gentile e disponibile. Posizione perfetta.
Non proprio pulita
Wanted to leave (check out) at 6:30 in the morning. Front door was not accessible. No answer to repeated knocking. So was forced to proceed to back street and walk a long distance to meat the taxi driver waiting at the front door.
Location and quaintness. Clean
Very bright light outside the window made it seem like it wasn’t dark at night. Had to boil the kettle on the floor
Location
The cost its cheap
The rooms where hot and and there was a bad smell from the bathroom drains
Great location, especially if you're in town to visit the RSC. Even though my room was above the pub and facing the pub garden, the garden was already closed when I came back from the theatre and it was quiet by the time I went to bed. The room itself was basic but clean.
Used this to book a consultant in for work nearby. We won't be booking again!! Not clean and uncomfortable.
Cleaner facilities and more comfort.
Well positioned close to everything
The room was extremely hot with only one window but no flow through. Because it was upstairs and there was a heat wave we needed to buy a fan to help us sleep. I believe in summer it needs a form of cooling
Pub and garden:))) Beer and cider xd Very nice place Thanks
No iron :(
Nice location staff very good
Couldn't fault it
Location and a lovely breakfast
Very basic
Good location and clean room.
We were told we could park at the NCP for £9.95 if we downloaded an app. No you can’t. ! The app took 20 mins to set up and no discounts are available so the cost is £15 for 24 hours. We advised the Hotel and no action was taken or even a reply to my mail.. staff seemed to know nothing about this or did not wish to engage. We even engaged the NCP chat bit but that knew nothing of discounts for the Queens Head. The hassle put a tinge on my stay!
Location
Cleanliness for appalling Filthy and mouldy bathroom Base of bed dirty Carpet dirty and doesn’t look like it had been hoovered Couldn’t see through windows from all the dirt and cobwebs.
Great value for Money, very clean and i slept like a Baby!

Very good bed. Location was perfect. very quiet street once the pub had closed.
Very basic accommodation, more like a hostel than a hotel. Access through noisy pub, no reception area. Pricey for what it was. Breakfast.
Good location, value for money, friendly and helpful staff
Re the comment below ('Kate') - I was in the same room and the door could be closed by gently lifting it up and to the left :-) . I agree that a couple more clothes/towel hooks hooks would be useful
The friendlyness of the staff, the location, the cosy bed, fluffy towels, the breakfast. Overall 5 Stars.
Nothing, we thought noise and music from the bar area would disturb us - but no - not a peep was heard.
I didn’t have breakfast.The location was good
Room a little on the small side
The location, but if you can find somewhere else to accommodate your stay, then go for it. The two members of staff on site were nice enough but the room we stayed in was awful.
Where do I start? The room was dirty with a gathering of dirt and dust in every corner. There was NO attention to detail in any respect. ●The curtain rail on the blackout curtains were not threaded correctly. ●There was no lampshade on the room light. ●There was no wardrobe, just a dirty chrome rail hanging above the single bed. ●The shower was dirty with black mould growing in the corners. ●The sink was cracked. ●The rear of the toilet bowl was filthy with an accumulation of 'goodness knows what' behind it. ●The small extractor fan on the ceiling was filthy. ●You could see behind the small set of chest of drawers, which had clearly had not been pulled out for dusting or hoovering for a VERY long time. ●There was an iron present but no ironing board. ●The kettle had a coating of dust on the lid and water still in it, which made me question how long it had been there? ●You could feel the springs in the mattress of the King size bed. ●There was loud music from the bar, vibrating into the room until midnight but noise from the bar continued until nearly 01:00 Hrs. ●Information via. email from Bookings.com stated that parking was available in the nearby NCP car park for around £9.50 per 24 hour period. THIS IS NOT THE CASE and will cost you approximately £9+ per 3 hour period. ●Additionally information from Bookings.com stated that breakfast could be booked in advance at the Queens Head by emailing them in advance. This I did, however I did not receive a response and when I went to inquire on the Saturday morning the doors to the bar were all locked up. Maybe not a bad thing if the room was a reflection of the kitchen! ●This is an old Inn, so the stairs to the rooms on the upper level are curved and steep. If you have any mobility issues or have difficulties in walking, you will not be able to climb them.
Nice location bar nice new owner was really nice saying he was making massive changes to the place getting work done he only been there few weeks hope he makes it a success because he seems a really nice gentleman
Getting in out when pub shut got walk down back of property
The location is excellent. I had a single room (for 1 night) which was clean and cosy and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was basic but freshly cooked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For the price, it was a most pleasant stay.
Unfortunately, the only way to shut my bedroom door was to slam it. More of a problem for the neighbouring rooms really. It would be nice to have a hook on the bathroom door to hang up a towel.
Wonderful location in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. Pub below the rooms with a gathering of local people including actors and people who worked at the Royal Shakespeare Co. Friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing
A lot of noise from the pub
Comfortable beds. Quiet. Excellent location. Good value
Were not ready to serve breakfast despite booking a time, it was like they'd forgotten. Limited breakfast. Shower too hot.
Great location Friendly staff
Dirty and mouldy shower due to lack of significant cleaning. WiFi not accessible in bedroom. Bed cover had old blood stains.
It was noisy because of the pub downstairs, but it was a convenient location to move around the city. For a short, quick and cheap stay it was perfectly fine for us.
Noisy in the night due to pub.
Near centre, good value
Not great if you want a lie-in, rubbish collection/ deliveries from 6am but we did have a room at the back so might have been fine in rooms at the front
Friendly staff, clean room great shower, good location, close to an NCP car park,
Steep stairs to room but a nice, old, traditional building. Would have liked a bin in the bathroom.
Friendly bar to use in the evenings. Right in the centre of town and pretty quiet at night.
Friendly owner who cooked us a delicious English breakfast before we left! Quiet place, comfortable bed.
Breakfast needs improving, but tbf the staff had only started 3 days ago.
