We checked in late around 9pm and found out our reservation was cancelled due to the card on file did not go through. I asked if the reservation can be reinstated and the front desk agent told us she couldn’t do it and we had to rebook it. Having worked as a front desk agent for a long time I know that it can be done easily, however, maybe the hotel just have different policies i think. We booked a discounted employee rate and were afraid that it wouldn’t be available on the soot but fortunately we were able to do so without having to pay a higher rate. We got checked in without being told anything about the amenities or introductions about the hotel except scanning the QR code for self-parking and the pool wristbands. We felt like we were being treated differently because we booked under employee rate but maybe she had just had a not very good day. Because of that, we had a little trouble getting our car out of the parking lot. When we got to our room, we found a half empty water bottle and felt a little uncomfortable staying there. We came down to tell the reception about it and were told that they would look into it. After dinner, we came back around 11:30pm, we met Addy and told her about what had happened and that we would like to change to a different room. Addy was super friendly and helpful, she helped us get a nicer room and gave us breakfast vouchers which made us feel super happy. We came for the beach but there was seaweed washed up all over the shore but Addy made our whole stay better. Thank you Addy, we appreciate you.

I am a travel agent from Global Travel and I am rating this review 5 because of Front Office Manager Natasha Joseph and housekeeper Nazilia, wonderful customer experience and interaction. She was attentive to my request and understanding to my issues. Hotel wise, very average. No microwave and you have to pay for parking onsite. They gave me a bad view from my room although I paid the normal rate and when I asked a separate agent advised they had better rooms that they were saving to charge higher rates. If you want a convenient spot, this is ideal due to the beach but you do not get much bang for your buck.

It’s just too bad there’s no shuttle to the airport but I wouldn’t say this is something I didn’t like about the property, I’d simply suggest they arrange that kind of transport.

We were looking for a place on the beach while visiting my 98 year old mother in Hollywood, Florida. This Marriott had so much to offer. Much to my delight, this hotel is immaculate! Additionally, the maid for our room- FAYE- was amazing. We never had to request anything because she watched to see what we used the most (i.e. washcloths), and she made sure we were always stocked up. She took pride in her job and our room always looked beautiful. The food in the restaurant- for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks- was always DELICIOUS, and consistently served in a timely fashion. The people at the front desk were more than helpful at all times. Also, a special shout out to Jeff- the valet- whose kindness went above and beyond especially when my mother visited. The hotel offered 2 chairs on the beach each day and 2 hours of bicycle usage per day as well. Finally, the price was extremely reasonable. I give it a 10 out of 10.

recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to share feedback regarding my experience at the front desk. Unfortunately, the interaction with one of the front desk employees made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The tone, attitude, and way I was treated felt noticeably different, and it gave me the impression that I may have been treated unfairly because of my background. I understand misunderstandings can happen, but customer service should make all guests feel respected and valued. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to review how guests are treated to ensure everyone has a positive and inclusive experience. Also, housekeepers were very loud on the hallway.

The Hollywood Beach Marriott is an outstanding facility. It is well located directly on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk which is immediately adjacent to the beach and ocean. This hotel offers excellent customer service. The hotel’s restaurant offers outdoor seating facing the ocean. The resorts swimming pool is delightful. Many opportunities for shopping, entertainment, and restaurants along the Broadwalk. We would like to commend both Lina (the friendly pool area attendant) and Leah (a long time server at the hotel’s restaurant who filled us in on the history of the hotel and area). The hotel is a 15 minute drive to the Fort Lauderdale airport. This hotel truly warrants 5 stars!

Lo que tuvimos un problema en el bar del lado de la playa con la mesera Robin esa señora es una mal educada poco profesional la actitud de ella es de lo peor no sabe lidiar con el público nos hacía falta una silla más para la mesa y cuando cogimos una que había sola esa señora apareció y rápido le quitó la silla de la mano a mi esposo y gritando todos nos quedamos en shock hasta el señor que nos iba atender se quedó que el pobre lo único que sabía decirnos es sorry que pena por lo pasado y le dijimos no señor usted no tiene culpa de las groserías de esa señora en fin ella debía estar en su casa y no atendiendo público .

I really like Marriott brand hotels, but I LOVE the Hollywood Beach Marriott! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast and was given a glass of champagne and offered snacks. Clean comfortable room and very comfortable beds (10/10). Very nice, clean bathroom, but I wish there was a shelf under the sink to put items (especially with two women in room). Also, no vent fan so glad I brought my portable countertop fan. Water pressure was great, but the shower head had a very wide spray so took longer to get shampoo out of hair. The balcony was small but nice to sit on and listen to the music from the Tiki bar next door. All the meals and drinks that we had at the restaurant Lattitudes were delicious. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub was relaxing. Towels were always available. Chairs at times hard to come by but could usually find at least one chair to put items on. The frozen smoothies at the towel hut were tasty. The hotel is right on the beach across the broadwalk where it was easy to get chairs on the beach (2 included in Destination Fee) and we also rented an umbrella for $20. The location on the Broadwalk was just a short walk to restaurants and shops. We didn't see this until our last evening, but there is a transit system called the Circuit for transportation in Hollywood if you don't have a car. There is a Circuit Ride app. Definitely would like to return one day.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. We love the location right on the beach and Broadwalk. The rooms are nice, especially the beachfront rooms. The restaurant is the best in the area in our opinion, with good food, reasonable prices, and a fantastic view. And the service is excellent. On our most recent stay, everyone went out of their way to help us. Shout out to Alexis, the Night Manager, who went above and beyond in providing outstanding service.

Hotel slightly dated but our room was large and comfy, spotlessly clean, fresh towels daily. Friendly staff, excellent location and the bottles of water on reception were very welcome. Never waited long for a lift, nice and quiet (even when conference was on), lots of parking. Didn’t eat in hotel but food looked good when walking through restaurant. We were 3 adults in a room with 2 double beds. Plenty of room. Paid 20 dollars for extra lounger on beach - typical of European prices. Originally booked an air bnb apartment but cancelled it due to it being for sale - glad we changed to this hotel and wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Beautiful scenery, perfect for celebrating an occasion with loved ones. The food portions are generous, and reasonably priced. The best server we had there was Tristan, he was personable and timely! He made sure all our requests and needs were met, with a great attitude and excellent menu recommendations. This place is always on our to-do list when we’re in town. My wife and I will definitely be coming back! :)

Can’t beat the location, steps from the beach and right on the popular broadwalk. Steps from shops, restaurants, nightlife, music, and lovely sunsets. Kudos to welcoming and friendly staff. But property is old and tired. Most notably, for a full service Marriott charging an amenity fee daily, the absence of a concierge lounge is a serious betrayal of corporate promises. Free breakfast buffet Ellis, but it is a far cry from drinks, appetizers, a quiet place to chill, and the availability of round-the-clock snacks. Long food and water at the main desk is a cheap and easy way around not living up to your promises. Most regrettably, elevator inspection and safety certificates were 18 months expired and front desk staff seemed oblivious and unable to remedy it. Bathrooms need some renovation. Amenity fee gets you 2 chairs on the beach but an umbrella is $20 extra. So much for appreciating valued guests.

We paid close to $700 a night for a balcony ocean front room we got a ocean view as we looked over a restaurant vent hood and very dirty uncleaned glass I tried to change rooms but that wasn’t happening with management so we settled for a discount of a few $$$$ rooms our very out dated I thought I was at a motel 6 ! Black mold in bathroom sheets that didn’t fit the bed tv remote didn’t work for volume big love seat taken up lots of room space just a FYI stay away unless you enjoy out dated hotels at higher cost witch this was valentine weekend so I would call it price gouging very disappointing lesson learned next time will be Hollywood margaritaville ! Also this makes me rethink my bonvoy membership if this is marriotts choice type hotels you got me this time but not again please read all the bad reviews there totally correct

Stayed for 3 nights, it’s an expensive hotel but I guess most places are in this area in February. The location is great, right on the boardwalk and they have outdoor dining which is really nice. I guess I have mixed feelings. Check in was quick. I booked a room that had a balcony but be aware that just because it has a balcony the view may not be that great. Ours was a view of a roof lol ok no big deal. One afternoon we were in our room just taking a break and the cleaning staff were yelling really loud for like an hour to each other from room to room. The AC was pretty noisy so we kept it off during the night. We enjoyed the bike rentals, smoothies and beach chairs which was part of the room fee but it’s $20 extra for an umbrella which is basically a money grab by Marriott seeing as you may be spending over $600 per night to stay here. The buffet breakfast was decent. Our last morning there was no hot water in the shower. All in all I had a good time at Hollywood beach just not sure I’d stay here again

Good things - food and cocktails and bartenders good. Apparently they are renovating and getting rid of the outdoor bar which is too bad. Room “amenities” fair. Coffee maker bare bones, no ceramic coffee mugs. Specifically asked for a room that did not look at a roof. Got a room looking at a rooftop. Birds eating pizza slices was my view. Could see beach so ok. Spent day at beach, go back right before 3 pm, room still not made up. Housekeeping carts all around me. Asked them what was up, they said “just one minute”. Very pleasant. Just slow going so ask if you want it done early. Beach guys were great, just don’t open til 9:30 am and very expensive. Two chairs included with hotel stay, but umbrella is $20. A shade cabana in front row is $100 😱. In back $30 so a good option. Not a fancy place, but the basics are covered.

Love this hotel. Right across from the beach with complimentary chairs next to the ocean. Got in room massages and it was the best massage I have ever had. Highly recommend.

The staff at the hotel was amazing! Everyone was accommodating and kind! The food was great! The hotel was clean! It is aging but they are keeping up with that! It was located in a great place along the beach with great restaurants close by!

We liked the ocean view and well designed room at the Hollywood Beach Marriott. The pool deck is lovely and the free frozen mango fruit slushie was refreshing! There is loud music from late afternoon until 10:00 pm from the tiki bar next to the hotel, so it was difficult to relax and sleep. Maybe a room on the South side facing the pool area would have been better.

Hollywood Beach Marriott is a repeat destination for my family. You can literally throw a seashell into the ocean from this hotel because it’s that close to the water. The staff are all are phenomenal and I’ve never had a bad interaction. This hotel should be the training headquarters for all Marriott hotels. During our last stay, we met the nicest young women named Melina. She epitomizes what customer service should be and sets the benchmark for hospitality everywhere. We will be back soon.

The small restaurant that you have never was used beacuse nobady can eat in aeace so cold . the AIr conditionershoud be broken and they didnt care. For this issues all the guest have to wait for outside cafeteria andvtjay dodlnt have enough tables. We were family of 7 and always was an issues trying to get a placee to eat. Theybonly have 2 big tables🙄. It says in the contract that yoy can get free mon alcoholic fruit small juices pina colada or trawberry and hey didt want to give us for my kids we had to call the manager. Very bad experience. No enough light in the outside cafeteria light bulbs broquen. I do notvrecommene tbis place at all. All money spended to have agreat family time was so bad at this place. Never again!!

La ubicación es excelente. El hotel muy bien ambientado y con grandes vistas. Habitaciones amplias, buen mobiliario y camas cómodas.

El fintess center es en un segundo piso y no tiene ventanas y por ende los equipos están frente a una pared, no se si no es común en la zona pero no cuenta con spa ni sauna. El restauran supongo esta concesionado porque es “Latitud” y hay otros con este nombre en hoteles en Florida. La comida no es buena y es poco variada. Me hospede en el Hayatt House en Naples y había un restaurante Latitud 26, la comida y la amabilidad del personal era muy superior. Igualmente la juegan con la ubicación que es muy buena.

Stayed there on January 6th for one night and wished we stayed a few more days. Will definitely be back. Everyone that worked there were so welcoming and nice. Never been to Hollywood before and the location right on the beach was amazing. Dinner at latitudes was excellent and our waiter Robin Escobar did a great job with recommendations, service and was very personable. The next morning we had breakfast there and were overlooking the ocean. Our waiter was Angel Q was also very personable and kept checking on us and did a great job. We have stayed at numerous Marriotts over the years and the breakfast buffet was one of the best. Especially liked the fact that all of the food choices were covered and there was never an empty tray and the hot food was always hot. Looking forward to going back and being there in the daytime to sit on the beach and walk the Broadwalk

This marks my third visit to this establishment. Its proximity to the beach and boardwalk is highly convenient, as is the readily available parking. However, certain areas of the hotel are in need of modernization. The restaurant menu, for instance, appears to be outdated, having remained unchanged for the past three years. Additionally, the coffee bar's pricing is notably high, and the guest rooms would benefit from an upgrade.

Marriott should be embarrassed to have this in their hotel group. The plastic bag for the ice bucket is a small round bag, when the ice bucket is a much larger square bucket. I couldn’t find the ice machine on our floor so I called the front desk and they said it’s on every other floor. Really? This is a Marriott not a Motel 6! We attempted to get into bed and the fitted sheet barely fits the bed. Looks like they tried to stretch a queen fitted sheet onto a king. And the mattress cover underneath the sheet barely fits the mattress, either. Absolutely ridiculous for what we’re paying for this hotel. The floor lamp has a foot switch which wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t behind the chair. You have to move the chair to turn the light on. There were no luggage racks in the room so we had to call to request one. Definitely won’t ever stay here again.

Came into town to visit family for the holidays. We decided to check out the Hollywood broadwalk and stopped by the Marriott beach bar. We were greeted by Ginger our bartender for the evening. She was delightful and very patient with my family who had no idea what to get. Next time I am in town I hope to see her at the bar she made a lasting impression on my family and I. Cheers to her!

Great Location, Fun Extras, but Elevators Need Attention This hotel has an amazing location — super close to the beach and the boardwalk, which made everything so convenient and enjoyable. We loved the little extras they offer, especially the free slushies and snacks, and the pool area was great. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very nice, making the stay comfortable overall. The only downside was the elevators, which kept breaking down and really need to be fixed. Aside from that issue, everything else about the hotel was great. Overall, it’s a solid place to stay, and with working elevators, it would be an even better experience.

checked in late last night around midnight and the first room 310 had an AC with a loud vibration noise! I returned to the front desk and they moved me to room 324. The room warm, so l turned down the AC and went to sleep! I woke up at 4:30 am sweating due to the AC not working! | went ahead and started to jump in the shower only to discover the hot water heater was also not working. I did not have time to contact the front desk only to have maintenance verify it! I went ahead and left for the airport! I just contacted the hotel and as I suspected. They said, since you didn't call maintenance at the time! All we can do is credit you a $20 destination fee on about a $400 bill! Craziness for sure! I found it hard to believe as I am Bonvoy member! I just wanted everyone to be aware of how Marriott treats their guests/Bonvoy members!

There really wasn’t anything in particular that I didn’t like. It would be nice to had a little bit more seating in the lobby, but other than that, the food was good. Location was good.

Had the pleasure of having my parents in town for Christmas Eve so we decided to head to the beach because I live rather close by. As a family we are avid Marriott people and have previously stayed at this property so we made this our starting point. It was a beautiful night on Hollywood beach and we had Ginger as our bartender to our surprise it was happy hour, Ginger was the real reason we stayed though. She is incredible at her job and I can’t wait to bring my parents back because they may consider her their second daughter after the way she treated us!! She deserves a raise for sure!

Dylan, from hollywood beach marriott, is the best He went above and beyond to help us retrieve medication left in a taxi. He saved our vacation.

Thought the pool area quite small and crowded. Sadly our evening meal in the restaurant was quite poor quality and certainly not worth the money we paid. I returned part of mine for extra cooking and my husbands fish was very bland with little taste. We told the waiter but got little response. Having to walk through /ride through on my mobility scooter the restaurant to access the Broadwalk was a bit awkward and at times difficult to get past people coming through a single door.

We cruised and had a day to spend in the area before going to the airport. We checked with customer service and they were willing to hold our backpacks while we wandered around for the day! This is a small but hugely appreciated service! Thank you so much!

I didn’t think I was going to like this property as much as did, but for one reason or another we always come back to this hotel. It’s a bit ragged but the beds are comfortable, you get good water pressure, it’s very clean, the promenade lends itself to long walks by the beach… but what I think really makes us want to go back here time and time again are the employees. Everyone is so nice - they each go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and help you sort out needs during your stay. Natasha, Devon, Alexis- all the people at the front desk, they are awesome and the reason why we always return.

The food is just not good. Overpriced, and bad quality food. And the personnel at the restaurant is a bit all over the place.

Stayed for one night in mid-November. Hotel staff were very friendly. Champagne, bottled water, and snacks at the front desk that were included in the resort fee were a nice touch. The public areas of the hotel are showing some wear for sure, but our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Only complaint about the room was the shower water pressure - very, very low and no hot water in the early morning when we were getting ready for early morning flight - which is never a great way to start the morning. Front desk said it's normal early in the morning due to their boilers. At night, our room was nice and quiet, but in the morning, hall noise, housekeeping vacuums, and squeaky door hinges were very audible in the room. Location is great for walking the "boardwalk" along the beach and for public beach access. Lots of food/drink options and souvenir-type shopping within walking distance. The hotel restaurant/bar was good for a nightcap and snack. I would stay again if I wanted to explore this area more. The neighboring outdoor tiki bar was fun.

I don't know how many times I get to sing this hotel's praises. We actually got to finally meet Bob, the general manager, and when he heard how often we have stayed here since 2018 (we have more than two pool rubber bracelets), he joked we should work there and tell the world. I'd do so happily if I could. Nick, Sharon, Natasha, Maurizio, Gail and so many others made our stay lovely. It's truly our home away from home while visiting my mother. Beautiful view of the sea. My husband also loves the broad walk. The amenities include champagne and a chairs by the ocean. Just an all around top property in the Marriott chain. We shall return for Christmas. PS Thanks again for a room that faces north. We love seeing the planes land and take off from the nearby airport. It also brings memories. My grandpa used to take us to MIA to race the planes when I was a kid.
