Two incidents that I didn't care for. One was a slight condescending tone from the young woman working the front desk on Saturday, August 29th when she asked to see ID and I said I didn't have it on me. Instead of saying if you have one on your phone that's acceptable, she proceeded to speak to me as if I were 100 years old to guide me to finding it on my phone which I personally didn't care for and I didn't make a big deal out of but I can see how that will get on some people's nerves and earn you a poor review or potential problem. Another incident that occurred, is that my son left behind his cap that he got over the summer while he was at summer camp (not summer camp on this property) but a different summer camp. And of course it's nowhere to be found which is unfortunate that there isn't an honor system and that whatever one loses on the property will likely not be recovered which doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. So, two incidents that I could've done without and didn't make me more likely to want to stay there again in the future. As a matter of fact, this was our 2nd time staying there, but next time we're likely to check out a different property. And we spent good money -- we ate at one of the restaurants on the property with 16 guests, got activity bracelets for all of those guests, got a cabana, and started a tab for all of our guests so you're missing out and for what? For the satisfaction of giving someone attitude that didn't deserve it and to keep a 12 year old's cap from summer camo? OK! Your call. Your loss.

Eion and Sergio AMAZING bell attendants and loved their services were phenomenal 🥰. TIM the bartender on the 11th floor PHENOMENAL AND AWESOME SERVICES AND SUCH A GREAT ASSET to this hotel ! Elizabeth and Manny great servers and made our experience incredible ! EVERYONE- all the staff were amazing!

I liked that the water taxi was right across the street, and that you could go to Fort Lauderdale on an all day pass. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked that the resort was basically in the middle of the broadwalk

I didn't like that the room didn't come with a refrigerator. Instead it came with a cooler, but we made due.

Aside from the original Key West location this is the BEST Margaritaville hotel. Love Matt ar the JWB bar!

Wonderful! We stayed in an oceanview room with a balcony and it was a treat! Room was beautiful and nicely decorated. Loved the margaritaville soaps and lotions in the bathroom. The pools were great and getting chairs was not a problem. We will be back.

We used both pools but relaxed mostly by the Lone Palm Pool area. The pool was clean and well kept but the wait staff around the pool was exceptional as well as all of the staff around the pool. They were friendly, helpful, engaging and made sure we had a great time. We especially want to mention Laura, Blake, and Christian who took care of us, as well as David and Brian but all of the staff from the bus boys to the staff setting up the cabanas,, etc. were wonderful. Our room was beautiful and we loved the decor. Eion was our Bellhop and he was great giving us good suggestions and explaining our room. Our favorite part of the vacation was the staff we met in the Margaritaville Restaurant. We were greeted by the staff with a big smile. The waiter and waitress were the best ever. Nicole and Norrone as well as Sandra and Milouse took the time to make sure we felt welcomed and appreciated, made sure our food was the way we wanted and that our needs were met. They accommodated our special requests.

Unfortunately the seaweed was bad at the water's edge, I don't think anything could have been done about that.

My adult, son and I had a great time! Being here is like being in Paradise! The pools are wonderful! The Restaurants are Amazing! The location is excellent, on the boardwalk! The staff are excellent!

The pools were beautiful and well-maintained. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well decorated. Location is on the boardwalk right across from the public beach. Restaurants had good food at reasonable prices. Spa was fantastic!

I did not like that anyone has access to the hotel from the street, and anyone who wanted to could easily access the resort pools just by waiting for someone to go in or out of the gates.

There was lots to like about this hotel but it wasn't for us on the whole. The team there is brill and we were looked after by everyone we met - at front desk, by the pool with drinks and activities, housekeeping and colleagues at various restaurants and coffee shops. All great. The property itself is lovely too - we thought our room spacious and clean, great view over Hollywood beach itself and the lobby and poolside are all well kept. While we were there the weather was quite stormy for a couple of days but there's enough locally to see and do if the pool is out. We didn't take to Hollywood Beach as an area - but i think that's just personal choice and so much coastline to choose from in Florida. All in all I'd recommend this, there was nothing particular to dislike, it just wasn't our vibe.

Now The pricing for one day is a little overboard 500 dollars for a one night stay is definetly steep. 500 Just for the room to sleep in and to have access to the pool mind you. I chose one with a balcony which was useless because the balcony didn’t have chairs at all. So 500 dollars to sleep in a room and use the pool but if you don’t sleep in the room the resort allows people not staying in the rooms to go in and use its amenities. So it’s not exclusive especially for pricing. The resort pools were nice , we couldn’t use the beach due to the sargassum in Florida but obviously that is just nature nothing to do with resort. The food and drinks were great! We love margaritaville but we will definetly be booking when it’s cheaper because that was ridiculous

Good location but spendy. Some of the people, help desk, main restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Room was good but nothing to special. It was clean, noise level was ok in the room.

my wife and stayed at the resort from June 24 through June 28. I will preference this review by saying we had stayed at this resort shortly after it opened and fell in love. unfortunately this stay was very different. we stayed in room 1100. it is a corner king suite room with unobstructed views of the Atlantic and the intercostal. we had several issues with the room. first the cold water faucet on one of the sinks was seized up and could not be turned on, the water pressure was simply put terrible in the bathroom. the toilet barely would fill up with enough water to flush one piece of paper down. the ceiling fan in the room would only work on high and could not be adjusted, and the mattress was one of the worst I have slept on in some time. it needs replaced! my back was hurting the entire trip from this. my wife did not want me to call the front desk in regards to these issues because we would have been moved and quite possibly loose the views we had payed for (the views were spectacular) the room is showing its age and needs to be updated and repaired. the margaritaville bar and grill we had lunch at was sub par as well. I was given what was called fresh chips with my sandwich but they were clearly stale. I brought this very quietly to the attention to the server and she only offered to bring more chips. we bought two drinks (bay breezes) at the inside restaurant/bar and were charged $48.00. way too much in my opinion. over all not the experience we were expecting for my wife's 50th birthday.

Lovely days in the sun . Perfect hotel with many pools and flowrider . Excellent service from the instructors on the flowrider . We had three private lessons . Highly recommended. Very nice food at the Margaritaville . The best pina colada’s . Try the French toast for breakfast . You will love it … and fantastic nachos . Joanie Bowden is very helpful with booking the flowrider . James and the other instructors very talented and polite service minded boys . Would stay here forever . Just love it . Will try to return in three weeks. Have dinner at the Margaritaville and ask for the boat- table . Wonderful staff . Love it all !

We had a wonderful stay at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. The room was spacious, clean, and in great condition. Very nice tropical aesthetic in room and all through the resort, the lobby was so cute! Absolutely loved the view from our partial oceanfront room. The pools were nice and very clean, and the beach chair service was fast, friendly, and attentive. A special thank you to Adrian in Guest Services, who went above and beyond. The resort café had already closed, and I needed milk for my baby but didn’t see the option on the menu. Adrian was incredibly kind and personable on the phone and took care of the request immediately. That level of customer service really stood out. We also enjoyed dining at 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill across the street. KK the hostess was such a sweet and welcoming lady, and our server, Parker, was friendly and attentive as well. The food was very good, and service was quick there and at the pool bar. Spa services were amazing and the facility was beautiful and clean One evening, there was live music on the boardwalk, which added a really fun atmosphere and made the stay even more enjoyable. The only downsides were that the pool felt a bit cold for summertime, and the parking fees were quite expensive. However, those were minor compared to all the positives. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

What a fantastic stay! We chose this hotel to celebrate the girls' 60th birthday getaway, and it exceeded every expectation. First off, the hotel is super cool, adorned with all things Jimmy Buffett. They really did an amazing job with all of the details! Personally, I am not a huge fan of his music but absolutely love the idea he so brilliantly sold...escapism with a cold cocktail in hand, palm trees swaying and sand between your toes. The location is absolutely perfect for those flying into town, just 20 minutes from FLL and a quick drive from MIA. It is within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area without ever needing a car. Our room was well appointed and the view from our balcony was off the charts! We had the best seats for the nightly concert at the Hollywood Beach Stage with the beautiful sea in the background. Unfortunately, it is Sargassum (seaweed) season here in South Florida so it was not the most optimum time to go into the ocean. Thankfully, we had (3) amazing pools to choose from. Some of us channeled our inner 10 year old and went down the slide and swam through the waterfalls. Great music played (not just Jimmy Buffett) throughout the day, creating the perfect vacation vibe along with reasonably-priced drinks. The music trivia game on Saturday was a lot of fun with all of us singing along to all of those classic hits! What truly made our stay special was the exceptional staff. All of our requests were handled immediately with smile. A special thank you to David at the pool and his lovely wife, Sandy at Concierge! They went above and beyond to make us feel special. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality created such a fun and relaxing atmosphere that we looked forward to seeing them each day. From the wonderful staff to the lively atmosphere and unbeatable location, this hotel delivered an unforgettable experience. We made amazing memories and are already talking about our next visit. We will definitely be back!

I was expecting a very good visit and experience. I had not read any reviews but the hotel is beautiful, great rooms, clean, modern, fast elevators. Not a lot of resorts I’d go back to but this one was great. Thank you to management for doing a great job!

This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. Sabrina was especially helpful and kind when we checked in. We love this resort and will Continue to come Back When we need a little break to Get away!

Everything about the hotel is really nice, but the design of the bathrooms is so bad I don't think we could stay here again. Rooms are really nice, pools are great (but fill up very fast in the morning), on-site restaurants were good, location is great right on the Broadwalk. However, the bathrooms have every single trendy design feature in a hotel bathroom that I hate and my whole family hated, and don't allow for much privacy if that's something you prefer. Shower with no door or curtain, toilet with no door lock, faucets that turned opposite ways on each sink which made me turn it the wrong way every time, no counter space, but worst of all is the sliding barn door that WOULD NOT CLOSE. It was driving us crazy the whole time, and my teenager had a meltdown over it when it just kept sliding back open. Whoever decided on barn doors for bathrooms as the new trendy thing should never work again. I'm sure it's fine for couples, but if you have kids/teens who want some privacy in the bathroom I would not recommend. So, very nice hotel with bad bathrooms.

Unfortunately the place which was in past a exclusive feel has been taken over by parents encouraging their children to throw and kick balls even when staff asked them to stop. Its an epidemic of gen z parenting not necessarily the resorts fault. However they dont stop the ball throwing in the beautiful tiki bar pool unless you complain

Time for a renovation. This place is dirty. My room had stains on pretty much every surface except the bed linens. Both chairs had visible stains, both benches, the desk surface was damaged, the carpet has multiple stains, and the bed skirt is visibly dirty. At one point, I ended up kicking a used bandaid out from under the skirt of the bed, and it sat there for two full days and made it through two cleanings and managed to stay in the same spot (widely visible) until I checked out. I wonder what that band aid's story is - what friends may it make with the next guests as our bond was was stronger than the bond it had with the person before me. Enough of the jokes. Food here is uninspired - the menus are quite pedestrian, which is fine if it's what you expect, but with the number of venues the hotel has, you'd think it would feel like there was some variety. First day I had a Cobb salad which was dripping in dressing. Ate two meals across the street at the 5-oclock bar where the seats were sticky from previously spilled drinks - one option was unique, the rest felt like the same menu from across the street. Ordered room service 3 maybe 4 times, food was fine, but nothing you can't get from anyplace else - at least that service seemed faster than most hotels. The hotel is also quite loud - the public spaces seem to have varying levels of music blasting no matter where you go - when I walked in day 1 I felt like I had a hard time talking to the guy at the front desk, but the next morning I was able to take a zoom call from the lobby without issue. I didn't use the pools or other amenities - I was here for a business meeting.

This place is fantastic! They have 3 pools, one is adults only, several restaurants and a pool bar that are very good. The lobby is beautiful and very tropical. They have a little market with sandwiches, yougrt, coffee drinks, bagels etc. The rooms are spacious with beautiful ocean views from the private balconies. The resprt fee includes a beach umbrella and 2 beach chairs, bike rentals, towels & kayaking. There is a surfrider wave to try your surfing skills on land and every night except Mon. & Tues. nights they have band concerts in the bandshell on the boardwalk which is 2 miles long and filled with shops and restaurants. Who needs Miami or Ft. Lauderdale when you've got Hollywood Beach! It's also vey family friendly and safe!

The TV's in the room are not smart tv's and signal is lost constantly.

The only compliment I have is the hotel itself is well kept. Security is a disgrace. The parking garage is a high risk for robbery. The hotel gates are always open welcoming anyone on the premises who aren’t guests. Everyone and anyone are welcomed here who are not guests. I would never bring my family here again. People are being held at gunpoint in the front entrance and the main lobby had an influx of dozens of people the security team couldn’t stop. Watch it on tic toc.

My husband, young daughter, and I checked into Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort on May 25, expecting a relaxing family vacation. Unfortunately, what we experienced was one of the most frightening and unsafe hotel stays we have ever had. At no point during check-in were we warned about the major security concerns, teen takeover activity, or riots occurring in the area. However, it quickly became obvious that the situation was serious, as there were heavily armed police officers outside the hotel carrying rifles and drones actively monitoring the area. Despite this obvious police presence, the hotel continued operating as if nothing unusual was happening and failed to implement any additional safety precautions for guests. As the evening progressed, large groups of disorderly teenagers gathered outside and around the property. There was constant yelling, profanity, aggressive behavior, and complete chaos. Many guests, including my family, felt intimidated and unsafe. We repeatedly notified hotel staff about the escalating situation, but we were continually told that “security was looking into it,” yet nothing was ever done. Around 8:30 PM, the Hollywood Police Department shut down nearby retail stores and ordered crowds to disperse or face arrest. Shortly afterward, over 100 individuals flooded toward the Margaritaville property, where the situation became even more dangerous. Groups gathered directly outside the hotel entrance yelling that they were not leaving unless they were arrested. Fights broke out, people were running everywhere, and guests were terrified. Despite the escalating violence and panic, hotel security failed to lock the doors, secure entrances, or restrict access to the property. In fact, the back gate remained open, allowing individuals involved in the unrest to enter the hotel lobby freely. Many carried backpacks, and given the circumstances, families like ours feared for our safety and did not know whether weapons were involved. We personally witnessed a young man being violently attacked by several others and repeatedly stomped and beaten. It was horrifying. Guests were crying, panicking, and leaving the hotel by Uber and taxi because police activity had blocked access to parked vehicles. The most disappointing part of this experience was the hotel management’s response. I spoke directly with the front desk manager, Alex, who acted dismissive and unconcerned despite the obvious danger surrounding guests. He initially denied the extent of the police presence until we showed him photos and videos of armed officers and police drones outside the property. In my opinion, the hotel failed in its responsibility to provide a reasonably safe environment for guests during a clearly dangerous and escalating situation. There appeared to be little to no emergency response, crowd control, or guest protection measures taken until police intervention became unavoidable. We have stayed at other Margaritaville properties before and always had positive experiences, but after this incident, we will never return to this location. Several other guests expressed the same feelings during the ordeal. This experience was traumatic, unacceptable, and handled with extremely poor judgment by hotel management.

Carpet in room was stained, dirty. Piles of hair between nightstand and bed. Room was 78 degrees on arrival. Maintenance said, it’s working and will take several hours to cool down. That’s just the way it is. Not enough employees working for a holiday weekend. No happy hours at bar pool areas bc it was a holiday weekend. I felt I was being taken advantage of just bc it was a holiday weekend. Time to gouge guests. Only thing is, we have been loyal customers for many years. We go back in July & if it’s like it was this time, we will be looking for another place to stay.

The food at the land shark wasn’t good and the service was bad. At both the margaritaville restaurant and the landshark, I had to ask for a server, we waited at the table for 10+ mins before I asked for a server to get us drinks and food. After food was brought there was no server to check in and see how everything was etc, had to go to bartender to ask for the check. Both restaurants had this issue. JWB was incredible!!!

I loved everything about this hotel! The beautiful lobby, the bright sunny decor in the lobby and the rooms, the size of the room and balcony, the comfortable bed and really nice bathroom with whale handles on the sink!, the beautiful big pool areas - 3 to choose from, the delicious food and drinks at the pools and at the lobby cafe, the fun dj poolside on Saturday, beautiful ocean view from our room with lovely Adirondack chairs on the balcony, being steps to the beach and boardwalk, so close to many options to eat on the boardwalk and to the water taxi stop. The staff was really friendly and it was so clean everywhere!
