Hotel charged us for te damage that we never made

The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. I had an issue with the sliding doors windows blinds . They got stuck . I called guest services and was promptly assisted with the blind issue. I was very pleased with that.

Stay wasn't long enough to find anything to complain about . Absolutely normal experience for this type of location .

Our stay was very nice,the room was clean and comfortable.And a very good location.

It was not directly on beach,a block+ back.But still close enough to walk pretty quickly.And also the balcony was not described to be an inside balcony.So it was pretty much useless.It opens up into a courtyard and open to your neighbors.No privacy at all.And definitely no view.Also I don’t recall having been told about the added fees,which took my total way over the quoted price on booking.

No answers the front desk ! For 3 days. Poor customer service. No one answered house keeping. I had roaches in my bathroom and spiders in the living room. Got bit by a spider my last night. Room 617

Had a power outage for a whole day and night, they didn’t provide any extra service due to this issue to fix our stay, didn’t made refund for that night, any solution. Last days of staying the beach was so dirty of seaweed.

The Best and only thing about this hotel was the roof top pool & bar They were out of towels for our group of 4 (only had 2 available)

I paid in full when I booked and the guest rep insisted I didn’t. I ended up having to show him my credit card statement and he finally believed me?

Nothing works. Power outage for 16 hours; they had unit available and refused to change us. We have to spend the night with no AC and 90 degrees. They kept saying it was FPL, but in the app FPL never shows the outage, it was an internal issue they could never solve in one of the two buildings. Of course, I never received the "compensation" they promised. Stay away from this place. I had to change my rental car, they didn't allow me to change the plate and had to pay for parking twice. They will say it's a public parking operated by the city, but the receipt said it's operated by them. Elevator to parking out of order, Danger wifi, my VPN warning every single time I tried to connect. Beach service is only for 2 chairs, umbrella costs 20 additional per day

The Only Positives The coffee cafe on the first floor by the parking lot is actually good, and the rooftop bar is also pretty good if you want to go up and take in the views. Location on the water was decent, but not waterfront.

Despite paying a mandatory resort fee, I quickly found out that absolutely nothing is actually included at the Costa Hollywood Resort. Everything is a la carte, and staying here honestly feels like being pickpocketed at every turn. For the price you pay, this is a bare-bones facility, and I would strongly advise against staying here. ​The Hidden Costs ​Parking: It costs $45 a night just to park in their own lot. Be very careful: the third floor is for condo owners only. While they do have signage, it is ridiculous that you risk getting towed from the very hotel you're paying to stay at. ​Room Service: This was incredibly annoying. They don't have actual room service; they use DoorDash to order food from their own upstairs restaurant and have a random person outside the hotel deliver it to your room for an extra fee. ​In-Room Snacks: Absolute highway robbery. The bottles of water in the fridge are the smallest I've ever seen and cost $7 a piece. All the snack prices are outrageously above average. ​Amenities: "Resort" amenities like bikes are not included. The Room & Staff: The rooms are incredibly sparse. The soap and hygiene kits provided in the bathroom were practically nonexistent. During our two-night stay, no one came to make the beds or clean the room, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was yet another extra charge. The Property: The building feels somewhat run-down. It clearly feels like an older building that was converted over with the absolute bare minimum put into it to make it function as a hotel. Also, note that it is not directly on the water; you have to walk about a minute to get to the beach. The Verdict If you book here, just imagine that your room rate covers nothing. You will get nicked and picked for every little thing. A big NO on Costa Hollywood Resort.

The pool closes at 8 pm which seemed ridiculous. You are charged 42.50 for amenities for what? And the fact that parking isn’t included is insane!

The Location.

Staff, fees, including an undisclosed parking meter fee of $40 for overnight parking. Nothing resort related about the facility which was broken up and lacked planning. Separate facilities for parking separate to check-in going to a different tower to get into your room. Jeep furniture and the smallest TVs I’ve ever seen in any lodging I’ve had in the last four years. The bed was an Amazon model that was very rickety. The glass shower door was ill fitting in the water. Closet was tight against the wall, even though they had tons of space.

They charge a $40 resort fee instead of the $25 that booking says they charge. They also charge a $54 registration fee that’s not mentioned anywhere. Also $40 parking

El aire acondicionado solo enfriaba por el día, por las noches era como si lo desconectaran , pasamos mucho calor, la cama incómoda cuando te acostabas te deslizabas hacia abajo por el colchón que no estaba bueno , y no hacen servicio de habitación y tampoco te dejan suficiente bolsas para botar la basura.

Costa Hollywood was beautiful! The rooms were spacious and super clean. My husband & I rented here right after we got married & we loved it!

Master bed was super comfy. Room was clean. Rooftop pool was very nice. Though very expensive, the rooftop bar sold awesome drinks & really good food. There’s margaritaville a little up the boardwalk, they have free bands playing during the evening. The beach scene, overall a nice vibe.

It’s like a maze getting to & from your room. ALOT of walking to get to & from your room to the elevator. No clear sign of direction- doors that look like they’re for staff or maybe emergency exits were actually other halls you had to go through to get to your room but those doors are not labeled so unless you just tried your luck or just curious, you would never know you had to go through it. Also did not like that there was NO washer and dryer in the unit. It advises “MOST units have washer/dryer” But you wont know for sure if yours will until you get there and find out. Lastly, The oven is like you have to read holograms to understand it. It’s just symbols that you can’t really relate to an oven in order to use the correct setting

The location was amazing. Right by the beach. The rooftop had a great view of the beach. Our room was nice and spacious. Had everything you could need. The amenities were great. The staff was friendly. Shout out to Jennifer in the towel hut who was so nice!

No es que no me gustó, solo a modo de sugerencia el sillón cama es cómodo solo si duermen niños pequeños, para adultos es incómodo.

Room was very large. Kitchen had everything you needed. Bed was comfortable and air con good. Staff were great too. Steps from boardwalk, restaurants and bars Great rooftop with a good sized pool and quiet areas too.

I tried to valet my car and was told the parking was across the street. When I tried to park at the public beach parking facility (pay by the hour) I couldn’t find any parking available - I have a large car 26 BMW X7 and was not about to leave my car on the street.

The hotel didn’t have on site parking, which was stated on the site. Also, there wasn’t anyone e to help with the luggage - as I was traveling with My grandson and the stroller, etc.

I liked the closeness to beach, the gym, and the food at sunset bar.

The pool was not clean and there were ants all over the deck under the lounge chairs.

The room was cool during a very hot stay. The building is centrally located and we could walk most places we wished to go. Appreciated the beach chairs. The pool was large and had lots of chairs with nice views of the ocean. Resturant on pool level had good food.

The pool was loud and crowded. Lots of people playing their music from a radio/speaker. Need more umbrellas for shade. Our room keys were deactivated 15 minutes before 11. We stepped out to throw away the trash and came back to find our keys did not work.

Location was the best

I received a message that stated we were making too much noise. We weren't even in the room at the time, we were at the beach. It was 1:45 in the afternoon. Also ice machines were not that easily found. More signage would probably be better. Also the door walls were very hard to open to be able to enjoy the outside Terrace

Nice and clean hotel. Has all the amenities like pool and gym, onsite rooftop restaurant that you’d want. Near a strip with local restaurants and entertainment near by. On its own it does well at a getaway.

Expensive hotel, high price of food/drinks at restaurant. Further out from nightlife - felt out far out from Ft Lauderdale than I was planning for.

Our unit N533 was cock roach infested. We barely slept . We couldn’t bring any food nor cook in our room. There was even one on the refrigerator!!!! They bombed while we were there ugh-breathing in those chemicals is not my idea of a great vacation. This is my 1st ever bad review of a property.

Apartments are starting to look in need of repair. Swimming pool/bar area confusing. Large areas reserved constantly. No preference for guests staying in the hotel. Too many people not staying at the hotel using pool area

The location was great, the rooms were perfect, the beds were the comfiest. The pool was large. Incredible bar area with the best bartenders, food and drinks!! Like that was a 12/10 for me!

One thing that I think could really use an improvement on is having more dedicated staff paying attention to how slippery the pool area is. And not even the area directly around the pool, but the tiles that you walk onto when you’re going to lay in on your beach chair. I felt pretty hard due to slipping in a puddle of water that was really difficult to see due to the color of the tiles and the sun. Luckily I have minimal injuries. My neck is still so sore and I have pretty severe whiplash due to the fall. I also think that some of it may be out of the hotels Control, but children were allowed to be in the pool without their parent present, kids were running all around the pool area and hot tub area, I even had children jumping on my beach chair while I was trying to relax. I’m not really sure how the hotel can better accommodate this, but figured it was worth mentioning. I also wish that there was more music around the pool area, similar to the awesome music playing by the bar area.

The location was great being so close to the boardwalk and beach , the pool was amazing with excellent rooftop views and the rooms had everything you needed and more for a comfortable stay

There was a group of us that booked and had different rooms , some on the south side and some on the north side Annoying to get to one another but not a major issue at all

The parking situation. I was aware we have to pay for parking but I wasn’t aware there is no consideration for hotel guests as the parking garage is open to the public. When we arrived there was no where to park and the staff did not seem to care. Told us to go down a few blocks and see if there was anything there. We ended up leaving a day early even though we paid for the night because it was such an inconvenience. If you go out for the day, again you have no guarantee you will get a spot when you come back. Ruined the experience.

Good location. The rooftop pool was nice, but expensive.

Beware!! Lots of additional fees that you see after you book. Our stay was listed as $180/night with a $225 cleaning fee. After all the fees, we ended up paying almost $500 per night. They blame Booking.com for not being able to disclose all the fees, but other nearby hotels have all their fees listed. Complete scam!! If you scroll allllll the way down the page, past all the advertisements, you will see the “fine print”. After paying $50/day for parking, we received a violation notice for another $55.

Al llegar nos cobraron cargo extra que estaba en un lugar de dificil acceso en booking... U$S235!!!!!! Pocas reposeras de playa. Eramos 6 personas y teníamos 2 reposeras asignadas.

Nos cobraron us237 dólares por uso de pileta y gimnasio, de lo que no nos habían avisado al reservar. Quedamos disconformes con eso, deberían informarlo previamente
