The hotel overall is great. First and the most important is the staff. Extremely positive and professional administrator Brandan, knowledgeable and helpful girls behind the counter, very polite and kind waitress/waiters. (Hi Missy!) Second: cleanness - no questions at all Third: location is on the beach. The bar is close to the beach. 7/11 is across the street, alcomarket - 15 min walking distance, pizza, Thai and bbq restaurant are close enough. Fourth: water: good for families and kids. The sandy beach is great, clean and wide, shallow from the very beginning and deep enough after. The pool is small but well organized and clean (and next to bar) Fifth: the food: breakfast is included. The breakfast is good, basic, not really different from standard continental one. But I would add more options

Breakfast was horrible and location was not how it was advertised online! I’m a chef and the food was a 1 /10 what a disappointment from Hilton.

I didn’t get a beach view which is the main reason I booked my stay! And I requested a arrival time and that was a huge fail I literally waiting until 4 pm check-in why even give the option to add an arrival time if you can’t deliver.

The property was well kept and provided close access to the beach! Customer service and management were very helpful and accommodating! Chef Steve & Lisa were the best! The tiki bar on property was well staffed and Amanda was an amazing server! Hotel security was on top of the Labor Day weekend crowd!

The public access via the hotel sidewalks wasn’t expected. Especially as the sidewalk is right outside the rooms.

The partial water view was over a parking lots and roof through trees to see little of the ocean. No part of the property is ocean view even the backside of the building is looking over the pool the bars roof through trees to the ocean

Never located the so-called amenities. Ice machines were broken and located on every other floor. Housekeeping replenished “fresh” towels with stained ones. Local crowds were allowed free rein to the facilities that resulted in HUGE crowds of DRUNK college-aged kids taking over beachside chairs and umbrellas, some without paying for them. Forget trying to get in the pool - no way I was stepping a foot in that urine filled cesspool. Drinking in the pool and on the beach was ridiculous, worse than Daytona Beach at spring break - crowd so rowdy EMTs, fire rescue and police called onsite. Operations director Brendan apologized since it was a “routine” - his word - “Saturday”. Last straw was the lot full sign with nowhere for a paying guest to park onsite. Checked out at 7:30 pm after coming back in from dinner and drove 4.5 hours home.

Matt at the front desk has been incredible! First class service, clean and beautiful accommodations. Highly recommend!!

Our toilet in our room didn’t work properly. We didn’t want to waste any time during our short stay and change rooms so luckily my boyfriend is handy enough to fix it each time but it was a little annoying. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t great either it would cut out overnight and we would wake up warm in the morning

This is a great hotel to stay with. The location has many places to visit and if you need something it’s within walking distance. The beach is absolutely beautiful, especially when the sunsets.

Am Ankunftstag gab es am Pool keine Handtücher mehr. Außerdem war es um den Pool herum nicht wirklich sauber. Preis- Leistung hat überhaupt nicht gepasst. Weiters stand in der Buchung, dass die Liegen am Strand inklusive sind. Davon wollte man dort leider nichts mehr wissen. Total überteuertes Hotel! Wir waren 2 Nächte dort. Die Zimmer wurden weder gereinigt noch wurden die Betten gemacht oder die Mistkübel ausgeleert. Wir waren bei unserer Rundreise insgesamt in 3 Hilton Hotels. Dieses war mit Abstand das teuerste und leider auch mit Abstand das schlechteste. Wir würden das Hotel nicht mehr buchen.

It seems this hotel has no concern for its guests’ experience. When we arrived, we were told that their system was down and were asked to wait. However, other guests who arrived after us were checked in before us, showing a complete lack of organization and respect. The front desk service was terrible. When we entered our room, we immediately noticed that the bed linens appeared not to have been changed, and the floor was very dirty. To make matters even worse, we found a cockroach in the middle of the bed linens. When we reported it to the front desk, we were told that “it’s normal in Florida.” That response was absolutely unacceptable. Finding a cockroach in a guest room—especially in the bed—is never normal and should never be dismissed so casually. Another major issue was the parking. I was traveling with an electric vehicle, and every EV charging space was occupied by cars that were not electric. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told that they “have no way to control it” and that they are “not responsible.” On top of that, they charge $25 per day for parking while making it clear that they assume no responsibility for your vehicle and cannot even guarantee access to the charging stations they advertise. If you drive an electric vehicle, be prepared to pay for parking and still not be able to charge your car. Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. Between the terrible customer service, the unacceptable cleanliness, the cockroach in the room, and the poor management of the parking facilities, I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

First - the staff! They were wonderful. Their computer system crashed with multiple people waiting to check in. They handled it perfectly and we were impressed with their professionalism and customer service focus. The room was clean, updated, nice view of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious and the bar has amazing drinks.

Housekeeping was quick with getting us extra towels and other toiletries we were running low of. Front desk was friendly and helpful. LOVED the laundromat (clean and easy to use. $4 per load to wash and $4 per load to dry- must use an EASY app). Enjoyed the outside seating, hammocks, and turf area- ping pong, corn hole, and tables to play cards or just eat food on.. Fast walk to the beach from the hotel. Easy to rent cabanas. Rooms were accurate to the pics online. Very nice workout room with new equipment. Free wifi

Did not like the $25/day parking fee. Asked for a gulf view, but Booking gave us ugly parking lot views, even after asking for a better view at the hotel. Their beach bar food and service was not great at all. The food is made in an on site food truck- slow service. SMALL POOL- expect a lot of kids in the pool. Wifi disconnects when on the balcony

Great location right on the beach, staff are super friendly and professional. Lola and Brendon are the front desk absolute made my stay delightful. Property is clean and well maintained, restaurants offering a lot of options as well. The area for relaxing and ping pong is a whole vibe

The only reason this hotel gets any stars from me is because of its location. It's truly beachfront, the beach is beautiful, the pool is nice, and the overall atmosphere is great. The restaurant is decent as well. Unfortunately, the rooms are unacceptable. The air conditioner was extremely old, very noisy, filthy, and smelled strongly of mold and years of built-up dust, making it difficult to sleep. The pillows were poor quality, the bed sheets did not seem clean, and the floors were so dirty that our feet turned black after walking barefoot. The biggest disappointment was the customer service. My reservation clearly included breakfast, yet my children were stopped at the entrance and denied breakfast. It was embarrassing, unnecessary, and handled very unprofessionally. I will be reporting the indoor air quality and sanitation concerns to the appropriate health authorities, filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and reporting this issue to the booking platform for failing to honor the reservation I paid for. Beautiful location, but the rooms, cleanliness, and customer service were a huge disappointment.

The property was really nice and comfortable. Everyone was really nice. Although we were told the hotel was at capacity, it never felt that way. Resort vibes. There are so many location close by, we would forego the breakfast next time.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL FOR JULY 4TH OR ANY HOLIDAY WEEKEND! We started off our visit with a 30 minute wait for a parking spot since they allow anyone to park in their parking lot to access the beach. We were told our room was ready but went upstairs to find that it was still being worked on - and we didn't get there til 4:30pm. The amount of chaos allowed at this hotel is unacceptable. We expected the beach to be crowded due to the holiday, but never to the level we experienced. Random people are constantly walking through the parking lot and hotel to access the beach and security is not able to keep up with the amount of public access. The beach chairs advertised in the hotel's pictures are not owned by Hilton and you have to rent them. There is also not a designated area of the beach for hotel guests and it turns into a free-for-all since they are not controlling who accesses the beach. The police were called multiple times during our visit, as well as two ambulances to take people who had gotten intoxicated to the hospital. This was our family vacation and it was honestly ruined by the environment that Hilton is allowing at this hotel. It got to levels that seemed dangerous for both the guests and the people utilizing the amenities for the day. Even worse, the hotel staff seemed shocked by how many people were at the hotel and how out of control things had gotten. We very rarely have to say something about our experiences as Hilton Diamond Members, but this was upsetting and unacceptable and needs to be dealt with.

This hotel was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a Hilton property. I was here for a girl's weekend during the 4th and it was horrendous. Coconut Charlie's (the bar in the back) generates a level of chaos that the hotel staff and security cannot handle. There is no security in terms of who is allowed to utilize our beach access and the restaurant in the back, and it got completely out of control. The beach was packed, which we had anticipated since it was July 4th, but this was unenjoyable. We had figured since the cabanas were advertised by the hotel that we'd be able to use them, but they're only available for rent. Since they don't control who is accessing the beach from this point, we could barely find a spot on the sand and were surrounded by even more people by the time we left. Walking back to the hotel from the beach made us all feel unsafe due to the amount of people at Coconut Charlie's and just how inebriated they'd gotten even in the early afternoon. I'm all for a party, but again, there seemed to be no control over anything happening and it actually did get dangerous later on. The ambulance was called twice within two hours, once for someone who had seemingly passed out and again for what looked like an altercation that resulted in someone getting wounded. What was truly unsafe is that due to the ridiculous parking situation, emergency vehicles could barely make it close enough to the bar to actually help people. There were ambulances and firetrucks that parked in the street outside the hotel or drove away from the scene because they just couldn't work around the chaos. We could barely get a spot ourselves since there are so many public paid parking spaces, so this just made the whole thing even worse. I've traveled quite a bit and have been in locations similar to this, but never have I felt so unsafe and honestly cheated because of the environment created by the hotel and the bar behind it. The room was very nice and clean, but I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. I know this hotel is primarily marketed to families, so I can only imagine what the people I saw there with their kids were experiencing. Don't waste your time!

My friend and I visited on Memorial Day weekend which is a super busy beach weekend of course. The beach was busy, but even over the holiday weekend chairs and shade were available on the beach at a very affordable price. The staff here are great- Jay was so helpful and Josh at the restaurant went the extra mile to make great recommendations. The staff make sure the lobby and pool (including restrooms) stay only available to hotel guests which was very appreciated. It’s very simple to get ride shares to the airport and local restaurants.

Our check in was less desirable. However a heartfelt shout-out to our server, Eddie, for providing such exceptional service daily for our stay! From the moment we were seated, he was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. His positive attitude, attention to detail, humor and willingness to go above and beyond made our dining experience truly memorable. Service like his deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Eddie!!

Geat job and a great stay

We had our wedding here. We live locally and chose this spot because of all the amenities and that we would have so many friends and family from out of town. What a spectacular experience. The staff was so wonderful to work with. Kate our planner, Brendan at the front desk, Rayner the Catering Manager. The venue offered the Tiki Bar in back for our family and friends to congregate. The pool, the grassy area was a great place for my very large family to get together. The set up for both the wedding out on the beach and the reception in the grassy area were seamless and all our guests had a fantastic time as did many hotel guests that were able to watch our reception in the grassy area behind the hotel. We had a ground floor room which gave us easy access during the weekend. Highly recommend it. The food was fantastic. Our guests had THE BEST time. We had a block of rooms for our out of town guests which was over half of our guests. There are outdoor restrooms by the pool and tiki bar. Indoor restrooms off the lobby. Coconut Charlie’s has a restaurant in the AC off the front lobby and Grill at the TIKI Bar in the back. The only downside was difficulty parking for our in town guests for the wedding.

We loved staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. The entire staff were so nice and friendly. We loved our room and amenities! Very nice pool, beach restaurant, and beach access was awesome! We loved our stay there!

On booking it shows with your stay you get 2 chairs and an umbrella included in your price. This is false and is an additional $55 a day. The bed is comfortable but the sheets and extremely rough and do not fit the bed. Our air condition unit rattled which was extremely annoying when trying to sleep.

Very strict pet policy. The nature of a dog is to bark if they hear another dog or people outside the door. We did not feel comfortable in leaving our room because our dogs MIGHT bark Taking a dog to the pound is frickin ridiculous and I’m going to find out if this is even legal. We had no issues with our dogs barking but did not want to chance it

Nice beach and pool. Room OK. but not good value for money. I booked through Hilton Honors with who I’ve been a customer for 20 years. Our partial gulf view was 85% parking lot and 15% beach. Asked for a room upgrade to a full gulf view and was told it was an extra $190 per night. Then went online and saw the same room on sales for $100 less than we paid in advance for our partial view. When you’re paying $350 per night it’s disappointing to be charged $25 for parking per night & $15 for breakfast on top and to have your room made up every other day.

Great location on the beach and close to restaurants etc. The beach itself is extremely nice, and the hotel is on the sand, so no crossing the street with kids in tow necessary.

I had very high expectations for this hotel given the reviews. I like the no frills aspect and had no expectations for anything other than a nice hotel on the beach. I didn’t appreciate the unfriendly front desk people, no one seemed to give accurate information regarding facilities, how parking worked, etc. the “breakfast included” is a $20 voucher to the restaurant (less for kids 12 and under). 20% tip automatically included. They originally gave me a child voucher for my teenager, even though he was booked as an adult. I had to ask for it to be exchanged and I received a dirty look from the gal on the front desk. The restaurant was very nice though and the servers were friendly, but you will likely go over your voucher allowance. Parking is also $25/day. Check in was a pain and when my room was finally ready no one bothered to let me know even though we’d been waiting in the lobby for over 3 hours. Once in the room I took a shower only to find out mid shower that the toiletries were empty so I had no conditioner to finish my hair. The room is only cleaned every other day. The pool seemed small and crowded. The beach chairs are expensive to rent but were available and in good condition. The cornhole game was missing a few sand bags…. Those were little things that would have made the stay more enjoyable.

Hotel and accommodations were fine. Our visit was heightened by regular check-ins with us by Dani. She is friendly and caring - she asked about needs and was quick to get us whatever we needed. After the first day she knew us and supported our vacation with suggestions for local attractions.

Third time here and it won’t be the last. This place is a gem and I hope the secret doesn’t get out - best beach on the beach. Food very good and location also great. Wish the cabanas were still free like prior years but that’s ok. Service all around excellent.

We absolutely loved our stay here! When we first got here, Jay gave us amazing customer service and has gone above and beyond for us during our stay here. This hotel is clean, has a great pool, restaurants, and atmosphere! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

This is our 2nd stay at this Hilton. Easy beach access, clean room and hotel grounds, friendly staff with good customer service. It did seem as though there are some changes compared to last year. They now charge $25 a day to park. We made our reservation way in advance and they did not charge for parking at time of reservation so when we arrived we were told there is now a $25 a day to park. Would have appreciated a email notice of this change. Coconut Charlie's is VERY LOUD. Saturday night the music played until 12am. During the day the music is very loud and hard to enjoy the pool area to relax. The pool is clean and pool attendants were great. If you want a relaxing hotel this may not be for you and family due to the loud atmosphere. Another change was there is now a charge of apprx $55 for 2 chairs and a cabana per day! Chairs are open for public to rent as well. We did not have a problem getting a cabana by 9am. We stayed a week, so with fee for parking and beach chair rental was a huge unexpected expense. Last year it was nice to stay at the hotel and know that the beach chairs were for guests only and of no charge. The hotel staff is great and customer service is good. We originally were placed in rm 328 ocean view. With the addition of Coconut Charlie's tiki roof, that took away most of your beach/ocean view. It was more of a partial view. I will add pictures of rm 328 for ocean view vs rm 428. We asked to be moved to 4th or 5th floor. That was granted the following day to rm 428. Much better ocean view that you pay for. I most likely would not stay here again due to the loud atmosphere and limited beach view unless you are lucky with 4th or 5th floor. If you want a true ocean view you must get 4th or 5th floor. The tiki roof took a lot of that away on 3rd floor. Boo! We have stayed at Tradewinds next door and they have more ocean view rooms with higher floors and 3rd row beach chairs for guests are of no charge. So keep that in mind for expenses.

In the past we have stayed at another hotel on the beach but decided to try the Hilton Garden Inn and we are glad we did! Check in was pleasant and easy and room was clean and comfortable. Beach access was easy. I believe Hilton had taken over this location 5 yrs ago. The lobby and restaurant and grill decor was fresh with a tropical feel. Everything was super clean and the staff throughout was friendly and efficient. Standouts were Michael our server in the coconut charlies restaurant and Dani the floor mgr both went out of their way to serve us in a 1st class way. The chair rental staff outside were also terrific as well as the good looking young man (forget his name) delivering drinks to us on the beach could not have been better. All in all I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.
