Location.
Additional fees for chairs and umbrella.
Perfect location, clean pool, it is located on the same main street that you can walk to go out to meet and eat without having to use the car
Pool and beach close
Lokalizacja, pokoj. Dwa duże baseny.
Brak poidełek. Znalazłem jedno w sali fitness. Przydałoby sie więcej.
A cama é confortável. Travesseiros são bons. Chuveiro excelente. O hotel em geral é ok.
O cheiro de mofo no quarto, apesar do quarto aparentar ser novo é muito ruim. Tenho asma e só consegui dormir a base de remédios.
Very clean, location to beach and plenty of places to eat
Sounded like they were doing construction right outside my door very early in the morning. Pillows were not comfortable at all
Love the location of the resort and the quiet uncrowded beach.
We were not fans of the renovations and closure of the old rum runners and pool area. It was our families favorite spot!
Beach so close
Air conditioning wreaked of mildew
Everything. Clean, everyone was accommodating, location, location, location.

Property is very centrally
I wish breakfast was included in the price or list given some discount to the people are guest.
Nice room and decor. A little overpriced in the bar and food
Reception area needs to provide water and coffee for free to guest
Room was nice and Rum Runners was great
I would not consider this a resort as there are almost no amenities. Gym is very small, pool is very small. Pool towel machine was always empty
Very Nice
The freezing hallways, the bathrooms are pretty small.
It’s clean, the convenience of having a restaurant on the property albeit pricey. They used to have buffet breakfast at a set price but that had gone away.
The maid service needs improvement. My biggest pet peeve is when they take ,in this case, hand towels and bath mats and not replace them. They provide plenty of bath towels but I needed only one to conserve energy. Also, they built a new pool which was nice but no hot tub. I miss the hot tub!

The amenities, pool bar
Friendly staff.
It’s was nice.
The property is nice . The parking was a nightmare at times.
I have been going to the El Sirata since I was a child. Being a native of Pinellas County. What is now there is a travesty and makes a mockery of the old Beach charm that the Sirata represented. It’s disgusting. The ONLY saving grace was our Bartender, Dominick. He was attentive and so very friendly. Other than that the property and what new ownership has done is sickening. We WON’T be back!!!! Unless it’s to visit Dominick in Beach hell.
Amazing experience! Natalya was a pleasure to work with! She was professional, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommend!
Everything was amazing nothing to say negative about this resort

They did such an amazing job, we were so happy with our photos!
Comfortable bed and pillows.
Nothing
•location •direct access to the beach •newly remodeled rooms •comfy beds •views of the beach from balcony
•extremely slow elevators •no breakfast •no microwave in room
We love it here ! Rum Runners is the best spot in St Pete! We started every morning with Dom and Jo Carroll for breakfast !!! They are the best dynamic duo to kick off a perfect day ☀️ Food is amazing , atmosphere is priceless and we can’t wait to come back !
Lisa and Dawn did a great job assisting us checking in and checking out. I loved that the hotel has easy access to the beach, and the two pools were great for when we got tired of the push/pull of the waves.
I came for a women's conference July 2026 the staff was excellent very friendly, We had a guy name "Floren" l think that's the spelling he went beyond to accommodate us in everyway if there was acscale 1 to 10 l would give him a 12 he always had a refreshing smile and a few others that helped on staff but don't know their names but l encountered a lot of time with this young man hotel was clean and hot water never went out, l asked for extra pillows got them right away,
My name is Marcia Riggs Hawkins, and I recently stayed at the Sirata, along with Woman Transformed Ministries, July 17-19. From the onset to the completion of the event, Florian went above and beyond to ensure our conference was perfect in every way. Him, along with Jakeya, Verna, Beth, Kenroy and Shari were simply the best. This is our 3rd time visiting the Sirata and I am sure it will not be our last. They are highly recommended for any event!!! As Jakeya says, Sunny Wishes!!! Marcia Riggs Hawkins, President Woman Transformed Ministries
It was very clean, staff was really nice and it was a nice beach vacation 🏖️
I didn’t like looking over the roof in a beach view room. We looked over the air conditioning unit on the 6th floor.

Had trouble with my key on my wrist couple of times I waved it 5-6 times to open. Only issue I had everything was great
The bedding, the outdoor restaurant, housekeeping, pool, fountain, and the lights around the trees that’s lit up at night. Most importantly the quiet time
The second pool was closed and the private jacuzzi area was also closed
The location is awesome! The rooms are clean and well set up. We have stayed twice, and loved it both times. The new restaurant was very good. We had a family reunion and they were easy to work with. Lots of activities for the kids. Pools were very well maintained and the cold washcloths with the lemon sent made our day! Only improvement would be to make it easier to book through the hotel. The website immediately takes you to a third party site and the direct phone number is not readily available.
Susie at the Rum Rummer is great. The restaurant was great. The hotel is nice and clean.
We ate at Rum Runner and Susie was awesome. She took good care of us. We will be back!
The beach was awesome! We had a view through the palm trees to the ocean. The location of the motel was convenient.
They were doing construction on one of the pools. It will be nice when it is completed.
Stacy - at the pool - was great - over the top. It is people like Stacy that make this place a great place to stay!!!
Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick, Hotel direkt am Strand.
Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick, Hotel direkt am Strand.
Fantastic yoga session. What a great amenity the hotel offers every morning we absolutely loved our stay here.. Holy moly, that was no joke that was pouring down my face, which should I title it yeah yes
There are some good reviews of this hotel, I wish I had the same experience but unfortunately I did not and people should see the whole picture for balanced reviews. There seems to be a lot of good reviews mentioning staff names so it seems to me the staff are touting for good reviews. I cannot say I had any interaction with any staff that was outstanding. My first issue was check in, my reservation could not be found and apparently they have 2 systems and it was finally found on another system. The guy checking us in kept repeating he's not from this hotel and doesn't know anything as I questioned being placed in building 4 due to seeing negative reviews about it. We were not given any information about parking, pool access or getting towels which we found out about later by ourselves. Just given a room key and sent on our way. Our reservation was for 4 people, upon gaining access to the room we discovered it was only set up for 2 people. Only towels for 2 and no bedding for the 3rd and 4th person. The table was broken and we found screws and nuts on and around the sofa bed. The sofa bed looked dirty and we also found a false nail lying on the balcony. The bathroom was the worst part. The toilet was stained, the tiles on the bath were cracked and ready to fall off, the bath was cracked, the glazing on the sink was cracked, there was dirt round the outside of the bath and skirting, the rails were rusty and there was a stain on the tiles that looked like it wasn't cleaned from previous guests. The bathroom was probably the original bathroom and has never been maintained. The toilet would not be stained if it was kept clean. Building 4 comes under St Pete Shores Hotel and is not getting taken over by Hilton, I heard Marriot was taking over that part of the hotel. We felt like second class citizens who did not deserve to be in the Hilton part of the hotel as we booked through a 3rd party. It is more like a prison block. I went back to reception to request a room change as I was not happy at all with the condition of the room and especially the bathroom. I was told we were only staying 3 days. It does not matter if I stay 1, 3 or 7 days I am still a paying customer and deserve the same treatment as anyone else. I was told since it was 4th July weekend there was no other rooms available. I then requested a deep clean of the room be done the next day since it was already late in the evening and I had to ask for towels and bedding and make up the other bed myself. Next day we tried to explore the hotel, couldn't gain access to the pool area or laundry area and had to ask someone to let us into the pool. That's when we noticed there was a band to be used. Back to reception again to ask about the bands and she was surprised we were not issued any. I said we have not been told anything about the resort. At this point I overheard another guest asking about one of the bars to which they were told it only opens at weekends. We went out for the day and expected to come back to a clean room but housekeeping did not appear. When coming back we noticed the parking tickets in other car windows so that was another trip to reception to ask about the parking to then be told we should have been given the ticket to display in the car window. The whole time we stayed there housekeeping did not approach the room once. We had to go to reception again and ask about the room clean and ask for fresh towels and get the trash emptied as it was overflowing. Housekeeping was just finishing for the evening so the receptionist ran to try catch them and we got fresh towels and the trash emptied but still no deep clean. Had I known there would be no housekeeping service or deep clean I would have pushed for a room change. The new rum runners is nice but feels more like a fancy restaurant than a pool bar. I felt out of place going in from the pool to get a drink. The old rum runners looked like a good place for a pool bar and should be used as a pool bar and keep the new rum runners for food and drinks. Harry's bar being closed most of the time is disappointing, even on weekends when it's open it closes early. This is a better bar for drinking by the pool or if you wanted a late evening drink.
The room was clean, in front of beach
Finding parking was challenging. The ocean view was obscured by a roof in front of our building
Resort is nice, pools were nice but not all open, looks cute and night with lights and Adirondack chairs to sit in a courtyard area . The access to the beach was great, bearing able to go in the beach at any time. Restaurants on site is convenient. The location is good near shops that are walkable when it’s not too hot , otherwise hop in your car for a 5 min ride to chick fila , Dunkin and other restaurants and beach shops. It is Not as lively as Clearwater beach area , which I love but it’s nice.
The parking which you pay for really sucked, spaces were taken by landscapers , people were moving the cones to save spots and we saw someone complain they have been waiting for parking for 30 minutes . Room was nice , but we called housekeeping for stained sheet -looked like dried blood and dirty floors, they responded immediately and cleaned the room.
We’ve stayed here a few times and each time has been wonderful!! The people doing the activities everyday were so amazing with my kids. Maddy and Josh were great with the snow cones and Maddy I saw her doing a lot of the activities everyday. My kids loved her.
The food was tasty. We had the blackened fish tacos. They could’ve used a little extra slaw, but they were yummy. Our waitress, Sara, was very attentive and gave great service.
Great location, the amenities were awesome. They even came around pool with cold towels for your face, which was nice. Rooms were nice even though shower area was a little small. The only improvement I would suggest is the provided shampoo, conditioner and shower gels don't match in scent. Very odd since at the TRU by Hilton, they do. But I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
Maddy and Josh was amazing and made me very happy
Josh makes excellent snow cones!
Great, friendly atmosphere. Relaxing & great resort all together. Curious of the changes coming as rumor is it will become 2 separate hotels...? Thank you Josh! for complimentary cool towels& snow cones by the pool. Great service from the pool side waiter, Cody... i believe was his name. Best get away i've have had in quite awhile! Thank you!
We stayed at Sirata for our family vacation. This place is very family oriented with a daily itinerary which includes activities like arts & crafts, a pirate’s treasure hunt, snow cones, s’mores, and henna tattoos. Maddy and Capt’n John Shark are awesome hosts! They were very helpful and engaging with the kiddos, so the little ones had a blast. The adults were able to relax in the pool, have some drinks, and the beach was right outside the resort. The only thing I would change is the amount of shade in the pools. It is difficult to find a chair under an umbrella, not ideal during the heat of July. That’s literally my only complaint. This place and the people are great!
Our waitress was Susie and she was the absolute best. No joke, hands down, just amazing. She was great at conversation and there was never a dull moment at our table, our food was brought quickly and everything was correct. She cared to talk with us too about what we’re doing on our trip, what we’re celebrating, everything! 1000/10
We had an amazing experience with Colby for our sunset family photos on St. Pete Beach! From the very beginning, the entire process was simple, organized, and stress-free. Colby was personable, professional, and so easy to work with, making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the session. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful. He captured the sunset perfectly and gave us memories we’ll treasure for years to come. His eye for lighting and composition really shows in every image. If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, friendly, and makes the entire experience effortless, I highly recommend Colby. We couldn’t be happier with our photos!
We had a rocky start because when we arrived they told us we needed to check in next door. It was an older building without the amenities listed on the website. I guess it was because we asked for an ocean view room witg queen beds at least that's what the lady said. We went back to the original lobby and Jose helped us. Jose was amazing. He quickly got us a new room and gave us a wonderful room in the perfect location. Jose was so professional and friendly which turned the rocky start into a fabulous stay. Thank you Jose. We also rented jetski's and the employees were awesome. We truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and housekeeping was very friendly.
Susie was amazing!!! So sweet, attentive , and thoughtful. After talking with her, we looked at each other and said “wow, she was amazing”. Thanks to people like Susie, good customer service is not dead!
We had a great experience, and were particularly impressed with Susie and her thoughtfulness and attentiveness! She share so many fun local things to do, and made us feel very welcomed.
So much potential! The beach is fantastic and wonderful for little ones with the sandbars that create a large shallow space. The room itself is newly redone and fine for a standard room, though try to book one with a balcony if you don’t want the traffic of a motel room with a common hallway. The grounds are really well-maintained. I understand this is a new property and the trees have not yet had time to grow, However, there is an immediate and desperate need for more shade. There is just no where to get any relief from the beating sun and heat besides a few umbrellas around the pool. Please consider more umbrellas or pergolas through the property. One disappointment is that beach umbrellas are not included in the resort fee - this is an amenity that we’ve had included at most other Hilton properties along the golf coast that we’ve stayed at. This would be a welcome included addition. Enjoyed the pool activities - Maddy does a great job engaging the pool-goers and ran things with energy and a smile. We had a few issues with check-in, as the front desk forgot to give us a towel card, parking pass, goofed up our room reservation, and forgot to mention our daily food and beverage credit provided with diamond status. Those minor inconveniences were exactly that - minor when considering our entire trip. This place has so much potential, and I’m sure it will get there with a bit more time and staff training.
Didn't eat location good
Said was microwave in rooms I didn't have said there was hot tub not one said chairs and umbrella were supposed to be out had to pay for them
The new Rum Runners and pool were very nice. I have been coming to the Sirata for over 20 years. I can NOT say enough about Jo Carol and Dom!! They have the customer service, drinks, and atmosphere going on everytime for years!! I really do hope the managers see how the RR run when they are there versus when they are not!! The def are a staple for this company!!
Not much honestly won’t return
To start off with parking was absolutely horrible. You had to drive around for at least 15 to 20 minutes to find a spot then when you finally found a spot you were door-to-door and could barely even get out. The rooms are absolutely tiny. There is no space for your luggage. There was no private balconies. The other pool that was bigger was closed. The smaller pool was completely filled with people. The shower was dirty. The sheets were sideways on the bed. I have photos. There is no microwave. I did not know they were going to come in and make my bed. I had cash everywhere and it was vacation cash so no I do not know if anything would have been missing. I was not keeping count of every dollar that is on me though. The staff was nice though seems a little more for the younger crowd. Not a married couple with Kids. I’d prefer Madeira Beach or Redington.
New restaurant was excellent.
Didn’t know they were renovating old pool area but it didn’t matter, other pool was great!
Location and generally in good state of repair
Really disappointed- firstly the room had no coffee maker in it but had all the coffee and milk for making it. We requested a coffee maker on three occasions and nobody came eventually on the fourth occasion it was brought after I had expressed severe disappointment at the front desk. That coffee maker then after being delivered didn’t work. At the same time as advising the desk about the coffee maker we advised that no moisturiser was filled in the room which we also mentioned on the other calls. The guy that brought the coffee machine hadn’t been asked to do that but did come back with some. Then having been at the beach all day and having left our room expecting it to be made and get fresh towels we find despite being sold as a hotel rather than apartment, they only clean the rooms every two days…a really poor experience, not worth the money when we expected a hotel experience so I write this so others are not surprised or as disappointed as we feel. Really disappointing stay and we are really normally mellow but it’s awful service and not what you’d expect at a Hilton resort. To top it all at 08:00 today (Saturday) work was being carried out on we think the rooms behind us and there was hammering and drilling. The reception staff on check out said sorry but nothing they could say or do about any of it. Very disappointed, definitely won’t stay there again and will when able rate it appropriately. Have a video recording of the hammering but won’t bother uploading it.
We noticed two cockroaches outside of the room at night
Wish they provided breakfast. A free city bus would be nice.
I love everything about this place. The bed was super comfy the view was beautiful
The staff was nice and friendly. There are free snow cones by the pool daily, free smores, pirate show for the kids. Right on the beach. The cleanest and most beautiful beach.
The size of the pool felt very small for the size of the hotel. It felt so crowded. The room was spacious but the bathroom had rust stains.
Loved the pools and that there are 2 ways to access the beach
The room is pretty small and I wish there was more than one ice maker to access
Right on the beach
i have tried to call regarding my bill which was overcharged no one has called me back there was consturction going on constantly during my stay i go every year very disappointmed
no construction room was filthy and smelled like mildew
Good location, clean, on the beach, bar
Under construction, price is a little high for what you get. Basically a small crowded room. Amenities are blah, elevator was half working, some rooms are outside not inside.
Nice
Nice
On the beach. Accommodated us having to leave due to room not fitting our family.
Not enough beds for our families, shower leaked onto bathroom floor.
Rooms were beautiful and recently renovated. My mom's handicap accessible room on the first level was amazing, as was the balcony King suite that my husband and I stayed in.
Housekeeping not very responsive, but we talked to the front desk and they assisted and even gave us a monetary credit toward our stay which was much appreciated.
Our room view
The construction! I understand it needs to be done just wish we would have been told somewhere sometime during the booking arrangements
Beach
Maintenance was not great, bathroom had rust stains in tub, floors felt sandy, gates to pool needed replacing
Staff were professional and helpful. Shelly, Manager, assisted with resolving a room reservation upon arrival. Our room was not available due to construction and Shelly found us an acceptable alternative immediately. Soecual thank you to Susie and Lina. They both were friendly and accommodating staff at the restaurant and bar.
Construction delays caused rooming issues.
The room I reserved with a non-refundable clause was NOT available. I was not aware until I was checked in. Supposedly unfinished construction was the cause but I’m pretty sure they would have known that prior to my arrival. The 1st room they tried to give me did not even have a patio. The second had a patio no ocean front for me. I was offered $75 a day for use on the property and $45 a day refund for the resort fee. I really didn’t have a choice but to accept the offer
Excelente ubicación, la habitación estaba limpia y el trato de Celeste la recepcionista fue muy atenta y amable
The beach and views were beautiful. The pool was nice but crowded. The pool bar and grill had great food and drinks. Service was good there. My room was spacious and clean.
Only one elevator was working so you had to wait for ever. Most of the family and friends had to wait hours for their rooms. Which was hectic as we were there for a wedding. Also our toilet didn't work right and it took hours to get someone to fix it. Thankfully we got the kids ready in my parents room. The price is a bit expensive, I would expect quicker resolutions and a working elevators.
When we checked in, we didn't receive a card to access towels. The cost to rent beach umbrellas & chairs was pricey as well as parking fee. Construction was a little noisy. However, the beach was beautiful & clean. Also, the restaurant staff was friendly and attentive.
Beautiful place, great staff
Air conditioner in room wasn't working great, didn't go below 79.
I would not recommend staying here. Sirata seems to forget they are far from the only option on the beach, and unfortunately the experience reflected that. The biggest issue started with the booking itself. What is advertised online is not what you actually receive. Like many other reviewers have mentioned, the property is under construction, yet this is not clearly disclosed. We were placed in Building 4, which felt outdated, poorly maintained, and in need of significant repairs. Calling it a “resort” felt misleading because very few actual resort-level amenities or services were offered. Despite charging nightly parking fees, the front gate was unattended. There was no valet service, no bellhop, no concierge, and very little hospitality overall. When I simply asked for a luggage cart, I was told security might be able to help. The front desk manager made the experience even worse. She was rude, dismissive, and repeatedly shifted blame to the third-party booking company instead of addressing our concerns. At one point, while my wife was on the phone with the booking agency trying to resolve the issue, the manager informed us we needed to vacate the room because our reservation had supposedly been canceled. That turned out to be inaccurate, and we had to contact the booking company again so they could correct the misunderstanding directly with her. She appeared very practiced at deflecting responsibility rather than solving problems. Another odd part of the experience was how staff repeatedly emphasized that the white building was a “Hilton property” while the yellow buildings were somehow separate “for now.” As a longtime Hilton member, that distinction felt unprofessional and conveniently used to excuse the condition and service issues. The restaurant experience was not much better. At Rum Runners, we stood waiting for several minutes at a “seat yourself” area while tables were being cleared. Instead of helping, a staff member approached only to condescendingly point at the sign. Meanwhile, the servers themselves were clearly working hard and doing their best under difficult circumstances. Honestly, I felt bad for them because they seemed understaffed and unsupported. This property may have potential someday, but right now it feels disorganized, poorly managed, and nowhere near the resort experience it advertises.
Susie at rum runners is fantastic! She is so personable and friendly!
Wonderful atmosphere, I had so much fun. The service was great, especially Dominick JC. He was very knowledgeable and helpful deciding what drink to get. Definitely recommend, for the service and drinks!
Mark was amazing, very helpful and informative. Although there is construction going on from the unfortunate switch in hotels Mark reassured our stay would be a good time.
Resort was well staffed, didn’t wait long for any thing we asked for.
Susie the server by the pool was the best! Friendly service and always with a smile! She made our time worth it. Thank you Sirata!
Staff was excellent, facility was clean and very nice. Balcony room with beach view was awesome and very comfortable. Good location on St Pete Beach.
No real negatives. It would have been convenient to have another nice restaurant on site, and I believe there is one under construction. Rum Runners pool side bar and grill was good, but a construction barrier blocked any view of the beach while dining. It was really the only minor negative of the trip, and probably not worth mentioning.
The vacation experience at the Sirata was amazing. My home away from home on the beach, all the traditions amenities and ambiance of the resort were in check.
Our room was beautiful. Very clean and great view. However the hotel is under a large amount of construction. Keep that in mind while booking. The beach is clean and very spacious perfect for morning and sunset walks
We had a delightful time at Sirata. Our room was well appointed and perfect for my dad who has physical limitations. Every day we were at the pool, AnnMarie was a fabulous and kind professional. She made sure my dad had a firm pool chair to make it easier for him to get up and down. She is fabulous! We had stayed here once over 20 years ago! It was fine then but now the enhancements - decor, restaurants, staff, etc make this a place my parents want to return to frequently!
