Room was expensive and I expected more. Room was dated, holes in carpet and sheets, food left on floor from another guest- covered in ants, mold in bathroom. Ive stayed at much better hotels for 400$ a night!!

Le déjeuner était "correct", mais il manquait souvent d'aliments (jamais eu de saucisse ni de patates car ils ne fournissaient pas à la demande). la douche fonctionnait très mal pour le débit d'eau.

Oh and by the way my kids love the breakfast and so are we😊😁, now they wanna go back again😅 Anyways its worth your money.

Reviewed May 24, 2026The property was quite but it was too quite. The customer service was good and quick. The staff was readily available to assist. Providing breakfast was very convenient for our stay along with our family.
The property needs an upgrade. The lights and interior also need an upgrade to cheer people up who are staying there and coming to the hotel after a long road trip. Just the look of the hotel from the inside should give a refreshing vibe after a long flight or a long road trip. The furniture in the unit had scratches and depleting. The hallways look pretty dark specially at night, hence, they need to change lighting. Overall, the hotel looks like a place to stay from the 90’s.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026My wife and I spent one night at Comfort Inn & Suites in Collingwood. But, despite spending just one night on our March/2026 visit, we have also stayed at the Comfort Inn on a few occasions over the years. While it is not a luxury hotel by any means, it does still provide tremendous value and, within its class and style of hotel, it does things well. The people are very friendly. The front desk staff was great when we arrived. And, the lady at breakfast was very helpful. She aided people with the waffle maker, for instance, rather than just stand there and watch them try to guess how it works. We paid approx $140 for the night that we stayed. And, this includes a free breakfast starting at 6:30 am. That is really good value. As for our room, it was a spacious and clean room overall. The bathroom is a bit tiny...and it is slightly annoying that the somewhat noisy bathroom fan comes on when the light switch is turned on. The two should be separate. But, again, for the price range, the room is excellent value. Unfortunately, the hotel use to have a swimming pool.....but it has not been operational for a while. The Comfort Inn is also in a great location. It is a 3 minute drive to downtown Collingwood and a 10 minute drive to Blue Mountain Ski Resort. It is a nice little hotel within its category. I would stay here again. And, again, we would like to acknowledge the friendly staff.

Night staff lady was so root and smell like racist. She was not helpful at all. The first lady who gave us room said we are fully booked so this is only room we have. The room she gave us was dirty, wash room was not cleaned and we saw the spider hanging in the room. My kids were so uncomfortable and didn’t want to sleep in the room has spiders. My wife was also upset that room might of bedbugs too. My wife went down the reception , night shift lady started her shift. She was so root to my wife. She said we are fully booked and don’t have room available. Then I went down, I said can’t sleep in this dirty room, spiders are hanging right outside on the front door and inside the room. She said you can leave, if you don’t like. I said how can I leave this time of night with my family. This is impossible. Then she gave us another room, which was also filthy. Washrooms are not cleaned. And towels were also smelly. I really don’t want to pay this much money for such a dirty place.
