Rooms were very dated, not what I was expecting for the amount of money I paid, pool was closed for maintenance which was very irritating as that was part of the reason we booked the hotel to be able to relax around the pool

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown. Spacious room with comfortable bed. friendly staff ready to assist when needed. The variety of the selection of food during breakfast could be wider for the fruits and vegetables.

As mentioned above I would expect the variety of vegetables and fruits to be wider during breakfast time. The rest seems to be great. The service experienced during the stay was as expected.

Staying at Dorsett Hotel with my friends was an excellent experience. The location is very strategic, close to shops and malls, and everything is within walking distance. The staff are very friendly, and the service provided is truly satisfying. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast. The roti canai is a must-try! Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay here. 🫶🏻👍🏻

I had a lovely stay at Dorsett Grand Labuan Hotel. The location is very convenient—only about 10 minutes from the airport by Grab, with a shopping mall just adjacent to the hotel. For those who enjoy staying active, there are jogging facilities within a 5-minute walk. All staff members were polite, cheerful, and welcoming. The reception team was professional and efficient. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and very clean. Breakfast at Victoria’s Restaurant was fantastic, offering a satisfying selection. The lobby lounge provides a nice variety of food and drinks, complemented by pleasant in-house music. The hotel also has a good ballroom suitable for around 100 guests, a clean swimming pool, and a mini gym. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Highly recommended and I would gladly return to Dorsett Grand Labuan.

I had an extremely pleasant stay here at the Dorsett. The stars of the show are undoubtedly the staff who are genuinely warm and friendly. Such a nice change from lots of places where they just go through the paces. The hotel isn’t super modern but everything is kept spotless and there’s always plenty of hot water in the shower. Laundry service is first class, you just leave it in a bag in your room in the morning and it’s all hanging in your wardrobe at night. Pool nice, clean and quiet and the bar staff will take a beer down to the poolside for you. All in all, first class and would definitely use again.

Located in the middle of city, 2 minutes walk to shopping mall. Absolutely love the breakfast buffet menu too, their teh tarik takes the crown. The cust services on top. Will be back, see you when I see you again dorsett Labuan.

Our short stay at Dorsett Grand Hotel Labuan was wonderful from start to finish. Traveling with a big family, we booked four rooms, and the team—led by the amazing GM Ms. Masni—welcomed us warmly and arranged connecting rooms on the same floor. The F&B team reserved a long breakfast table for us, and both the high tea and pool time with the kids were delightful. Housekeeping and the spa team were equally impressive. Thank you to Ms. Masni, Lily, Merza, Irrivilla, and the entire team for delivering genuine Malaysian hospitality. We will definitely return!

Dorsett Lobby Lounge has now got live music on Friday and Saturday nights. They are very good singers and will even take song requests from the guests. Very nice to see the Dorsett trying some new ideas to make the experience even better for their guests.

I’m taking a solo trip to Labuan and staying at Dorsett Grand Labuan — the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, the room is clean and well-kept, and the environment is relaxing and comfortable

Actually Good hotel in good location. Personnel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good as well.

Rooms required renovation.

Overall hotel has been improved a lot since they refurbished the hotel room , only flip side disappointed is hotel banned the front lobby parking lot , which causing inconvenience to guests carrying lot of luggage as well as basements car park fully parked , there is no more alternative parking lot available within hotel facilities.

Stayed at the Dorsett hotel for business travel with our crew. The hotel is very nice & the service is top notch! A special thank you to Daima, Jenny, Peusa, and Pija for their hospitality. They made us feel like we were at home especially after a busy trip at sea. I highly recommend staying here for any travel in Labuan.

Had a short one-night stay at this hotel through a company booking. The overall design of the hotel still carries a sense of grandeur, though it’s clear that the interiors have seen better days and are now showing signs of wear. The room itself was spacious — larger than many newer hotels — and came with basic amenities, including a bathtub, which was a nice touch. While the facilities may feel dated, the space was comfortable enough for a short stay. The in-house restaurant offered a decent selection of food, making dining convenient without the need to head out. Overall, a comfortable stay with generous room size, though the hotel would truly shine again with some refurbishment.

I had a wonderful stay at this 5-star hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived Specialy the lady at the reception her name was Lily greet me by name and gilbert also explained me well about labuan. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. I loved the food at the restaurant, and the pool and spa were perfect for relaxing. Everything was well taken care of, and I felt truly pampered. I would definitely come back again!

The hotel should upgrade the cable tv to smart tv. Also, needed to request an extra set of towels, perhaps housekeeping forgot to prepare the right amount for the room upon cleaning.

Room furniture and maintenance needs improvement. Room balcony sliding glass door had moss indicating inadequate routine maintenance.

Nice food, staff (Dalniah) is also very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to my friends and office mates.

Very nice hotel. The staff are friendly and ensure that you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. I highly recommend spending some time in the Lobby Lounge where the ladies make great drinks and love to have a chat with the visitors. Pelisa , Jenny and Dalniah will look after you and recommend drinks or meals from their vast menu.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Facilities are great, prime location. Food are tasty, especially pizza and hi-tea set, value the money. Great variation for breakfast buffet as well.

Due to night market next to the hotel, maybe can get better sound proof sliding door? ! So the music won't too loud during night resting time.

The hotel looks very grand from the outside (and on the photos here) but the rooms need refund. We have stayed here every time we visit for the last 10 years or so. Staff have always been helpful to me and my family for many years, especially Daniel and Suzi. If it wasn’t for their help, we would not have visited every year and stayed! The hotel is in a brilliant location, walking distance from the beach and shopping centre and feels secure, has concierge, large lobby, and well-maintained general facilities. It is also nice and peaceful and not busy and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large but the only issue is they are very dated and desperately needing refurb. In particular, the shower is not handheld and is over the bath so you have to climb a huge step to get in! Not suitable for people with weak joints. The breakfast buffet was very simple. There were some local hot dishes but the western range is toast, and a few pastries, salad and cereal. The pool doesn’t seem to be used and is directly in the view of breakfast and the road so not very private! It has a gym, which is a bonus but it is very small - a couple of treadmills and a cable machine, dumbbells. Boxing bag too though! It also only opens from 7am. Parking is helpfully underground where it is cooler but limited. I am not sure if there is parking elsewhere. A good place for a short stay and there is not much choice elsewhere. It has a LOT of potential if they had some investment put in so I hope they do!

Excellent service from all the staff! Jenny, Pelisa, Dalnia and Jessica are fantastic - super efficient, friendly and professional. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. Food is superb, and amenities well maintained. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Labuan!

the staffs are very friendly and kind for example the staff named zulfikar, pija, jess, nick and more of them. im so thankful for their service as they talk softly and being helpful for the customer. the food also very good as they have variety food especially the nasi lemak, omelette, and more. my sis and me love the food and the service

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful and spotless hotel. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the food ordered from the lobby lounge was also top-notch. I am not happy with getting eye infection from pillow case sleeping in the room here. I have pink eye. So the room is very dirty with bacteria! The living room restaurant downstairs lobby level has the WORST food. Do not eat unless you want tasteless tough chewing food. The lobby bar in the middle has okay food but not the best. It’s better to eat across the way in the mall. The food from locals is way way better than the food in the dorsett hotel.

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff who cannot do enough to help you. Food is excellent. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Everything is efficient. Many thanks to Dalnia, Polica and Jenny who looked after my colleagues and I every day. You made our stay wonderful
