Location is what we needed.

Bathroom was extremely small. Door rubbed hard on the shower rod.

Nothing about my stay. The building condition was very poor, the room smelled like it was overly disinfected to mask a bad smell, the bathroom was tiny the door barely closed, the tv a mystery to get working, the windows dirty and a stick to secure it shut, the door to the room stuck. The entire building looked ready for demolishment

Overall this is a great place to stay for the price. Beds are super comfortable and the room is pretty clean. There definitely are little spots here and there like knicks in the wall or a stain in the bathtub but its something I can overlook for a clean and comfortable room!

Only thing that didnt seem to be functioning properly was the bathroom fan. Definitely sounded like the motor has reached its end. The AC is a bit loud too

It’s just a short stay but the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Location was real close to the hospital. I showed up early for booking in. I was so tired from traveling for husband surgery and they let me into my room so I could get some sleep. For all future trips to Kamloops guess where I will be staying. 😀

Tub had dirty footprints in it, shower rod was falling down and had a very sharp part exposed, bathroom was so tiny we had to squeeze around the door and a larger person would probably not fit, breakfast was included in the listing but there was no breakfast.

The room was clean and the walls were pretty sound-proof. We were right next to the front desk but we weren’t bothered by the comings and going’s of the door or desk. We liked that we could walk to get our dinner.

This area of town is not ideal, particularly for single women or families with small children. There were many homeless people and people with addictions or buying drugs, in very clear view wherever we went. The property itself is very dated.

Comfy bed, cheerful helpful staff. Good location for the centre of town. Good value for money.

To be frank, I was anxious because of the poor reviews. In fact, we had to switch rooms due to a power outage in our first room, and the fridge in the second room was noisy enough to bother my wife. Nevertheless, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout every issue. All in all, the room and general facilities were great value for money.

No elevator. Had to carry suitcases down a flight of stairs. This was not made clear on the website. Hotel definitely in need of an update. I've stayed at Sandman Hotels before. This is definitely below their usual standard.

200/night, seems a bit run down, door to bathroom wouldn’t stay closed, and the toilet paper is behind the door?? So you have to close the door (small space) to get to the tp. No fan options for AC, high only. Hole in the floor of the room, covered by carpet. Keys had to be re-set 3 times! No elevator so trips up and down stairs so I could get in my room. Don’t know if my pet deposit is being refunded or not?

Not good. We booked it because of name “Sandman”. We found “Sadman”.

Our room was on 3rd floor, we have go by stairs with luggage. No gateman helped us in luggage carrying.

Good Value. It was clean. Modern? No... but you're not paying a high price. I would stay here again.

Ontvangst was netjes ook de uitleg van de regels en het parkeren. Rook en zag er schoon uit en wil je wat eten. Tegenover lag een Denny's die 24/7 open is.

We lagen aan de straat kant dat was géén succes. Veel verkeer en vooral de vrachtwagens die met volle gang langs kwamen. Waardoor wij als gezin géén goeie nachtrust hadden. Zou het niet nog een keertje boeken.

Breakfast at Denny's was very good, the location is very good as you don't get held up by the train.

A hand rail in the shower would be nice for older patrons otherwise no further suggestions.

Location was good. And the check in process, seemed confused as the young lady had trouble locating my (expedia) booking.

the room was on the smaller side. In fact the hand basin was not in the bathroom. The bed also was small ish. But comfortable.

They had asked me if I minded the bottom floor. I was OK with that however in the early morning staff was getting organized with cleaning supplies or something similar in a nearby room.

Previous reviews were negative, we found that they were not accurate!

Our room faced the alley. About 1 am, homeless folks were arguing outside our window for 2 hours.

The bed was very comfy

Dennys was good. Location of room faced back alley where a fight broke out by our window while we were trying to sleep 3am. We were on the verge of calling the police.

Convenient location

Slightly run down area, in need of a revamp, very small bathroom.

The hotel was well situated for exploring Kamloops and the staff were very friendly and helpful

The rubbish was collected very early in the morning but this is something that is probably outside of the hotel's control

Ball valve in toilet had lift chain catching in it every time one flushed. Water leaked out of tank constantly and every 2 or 3 minutes water would run to fill tank. Very annoying trying to sleep ! Sink faucet was very loose and difficult to turn off and on.

I had to change my room for a bottom room as my husband just had knee surgery. They were so accommodating. They even let us go in and out the side sliding door as he could not climb the stairs.

We ended up not staying at this property.. the area has allot of homeless and this hotel houses some of them.

The only room left was a basement room. We did feel safe staying there.

liked location was close to hospital why was there, was quiet comfortable, easy to accces and to main road, would stay again if i am in need to be in Kamloops again. Thank you!

The front desk clerk was wonderful

The room was not good! The desk chair was covered with filth and foreign objects, the windows were so dirty you could not see through, the curtains were shredded, and big holes, the fridge was covered in guck and fingerprints . If we could have moved hotels we would off!
