The hotels location is ideal for those wanting to explore Kuala Lumpurs attractions and shops. Close to transport and all the action. The room was lovely and large and breakfast selection was good. I would recommend the hotel.

The lobby is a little chaotic with many people milling around. It would help if there's a vestibule or a blocked off area separating the elevator lobby from the general lobby.

breakfast. wide selection. standard breakfast taste but i like the omelette. huge space so u won't have 'fully occupied' waiting problem. staff hospitality was great. Izyan was the nice lady who handled my check-in n she was so friendly with my kids too. room is standard, clean. bathtub was cut half, its built together inside shower cubicle n actually its great because water won't spill out n their door waterproof was great so u get nice dry toilet floor outside of shower area, unlike most hotels.

wifi. very bad during my stay. i couldn't even work at night due to bad wifi. was watching movie n it played for few mins then offline then came back few mins then offline again n again n again. gave up watching in the end.

Great location as you’re in a busy shopping district by Pavillon plus indoor walkways over to KLCC area. But the rooms need improvements as they are old, battered and dirty.

This is a 3 star hotel pretending to be a 5 star. I stayed in this hotel a decade ago and came back recently for merdeka and we also stayed in the Shanghai one as part of the same trip. The Cabana Pool side rooms in KL haven’t changed much and need some tlc. The beds are rock hard and leave you with a sore back, the wardrobes need repairing or at least that was our experience in our pool side cabana room 6009. The rooms and bed linens do not smell fresh and the electric kettle for example came with left over residue from previous tenants, possibly people cooking food in the kettle but left for us like that. We cleaned it up for them but you’d think this stuff would be checked. Avoid in-room dining as it’s appalling, for example we ordered a pizza having arrived late in from a flight. They came with a frozen pizza from a supermarket and charged us €22 for it 😂. It was so bad that it was quite funny. I don’t think we’ll ever forget it 😂 Likewise the breakfast is pretty poor by KL standards especially the coffee, even petrol station machines make better. We did stay during merdeka so maybe that explains why everything was a little under par as the place was packed. The pool does also have a bar but oddly they don’t have fridges for the soft drinks even though KL is 33degrees+. They will give you ice but thought that was a little odd and just reinforces that the service standards at this hotel are maybe not that high due the sheer volume of people that pass through it.

The only area that I believe could be improved is the breakfast. Although the buffet is large and offers a wide variety of options, it is heavily focused on Asian cuisine. The selection catering to Arab and other international guests is relatively limited. Adding more international and Middle Eastern breakfast options would make the experience even better.

Almost everything

Location is unbeatable, the room is big, clean and comfy, loved the shower/tub combo, and staff were extra nice and helpful.

To offer almond milk at breakfast (I cannot have regular or soy milk), the pool could be bigger for the amount of guests the hotel holds it is not proportional. I wanted to go in the afternoon and there were zero chairs available, so I could not go. :(

The location was so good. On the most liveky street of kl. The staff that processes our check in- chanelle was the nicest person! She did a great job. The breakfast spread was pretty good. The room and facilities were upto the mark.

1. Confusing and inconsistent room charges At check-in, I was expecting to pay the agreed room rate plus the applicable taxes. However, the staff member provided us with four different amounts. Each time, she would leave to check with another person and return with a different figure. She herself appeared unsure why the amounts were changing. Eventually, we were charged and paid the room rate + taxes + tourist tax. This was extremely confusing and frustrating, especially at check-in when guests expect a clear and accurate breakdown of their charges. 2. Housekeeping was below five-star standards The room cleaning was disappointing. It appeared that the service was mainly limited to tidying the bed and changing towels. I understand that guests do not necessarily expect a full deep cleaning every day, but there should still be a proper and consistent housekeeping service in a five-star hotel. The overall standard of cleanliness was not what I would expect from a property of this category. 3. Another unexpected charge at check-out Unfortunately, the billing issue happened again at check-out. Another staff member initially informed us that we had an additional amount to pay. When we questioned the charge, another employee came to assist and stated that the reason was because we had not checked in at 3:00 PM on 14 August. I explained that this was incorrect. We had already informed the hotel that we would arrive at 3:00 AM on 15 August, and we had specifically booked and paid for the room from 14 August because we wanted to have the room available immediately upon arrival rather than waiting until the normal check-in time. The staff member who originally checked us in then came back and clarified that the amount was supposedly not related to a late check-in, but rather an amount that had not been collected during check-in. At this point, we were extremely frustrated because this was yet another different explanation and another unexpected charge.

朝食がおいしくなくて、4泊中一回しか行きませんでした。フルーツは種類が少ない上に熟す前のカチカチ。ヨーグルトもノーファットなのかシャバシャバで甘味料味。繁華街なので、外で食べた方がいいです。全体的に設備が古いです。ロビーにソファーがほぼないので、grab待ちの時不便です。わかっていたものの、ウォシュレットなしはやっぱりいやでした。コスパ悪めです。

Ascensores con mucha demora. Airport transfer 180 usd. Pagamos el mismo auto por grab 60 usd (denza ds9). Al check out me querían cobrar la estadía que ya había pagado antes.

Todo fue increíble, el hotel colinda con varios centros comerciales de Kuala Lumpur. El desayuno es muy variado y con muy buen sabor, el staff increíblemente amable. Las instalaciones son de muy buen nivel, acorde con lo que se espera de un JW Marriot. Recomiendo este hotel sin dudarlo.

our key not working we have to reach airport staying there for 7 days but the janitorial staff (jandial)refuses to open the room with master keys inspite of well recognises us wasted our precious half an hour

Exceptional staff, special thanks to Ney Tun, Adam, Shan and all other JW Marriott staff who made our stay exceptional. Rooms were big and comfortable. Breakfast had options for all dietary needs and in-room dining was also great.

Check-in was quite a lengthy process. Our room faced the Pavilion (city view), but unfortunately, the windows are not soundproof. The street below gets extremely noisy from late at night until early in the morning due to large gatherings of motorcycles. I'm surprised hotel management hasn't addressed the late-night motorcycle noise right outside the property, as it disrupted our sleep. If you're planning to stay here, I strongly recommend requesting a room away from the street side.

The room is clean and excellent service from the staff. We didn't finish our birthday cake and the room's fridge is too small, the concierge help me to keep it in their fridge overnight and I collect it during check out.

Room was comfortable, bedding and quilt was good. Rooms on level 2-4 are facing the inside of starhill gallery, which isn’t a problem, just for privacy concerns, the curtains are closed. Staff are very attentive and prompt. The automated security door at each level at the corridor was good.

The swimming pool was abit lacking, maybe partial covered or with a water slide. Breakfast was very crowded too albeit lots variety.

It is a bit dated.

When I was checking, I was told that I would have a room without a window but was upgraded to a better room. It seems that the reception told every customer the same story. No need to create a fake story to please customers.

I was given a room far away from lifts. After a complaint, a better room was located to me.

The hotel place is perfect it is directly in front of pavillion mall and 15 min walk to suria klcc and petronas towers it's right in the middle of kuala lumpur. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful and the breakfast is good with many varieties.

The breakfast buffet is chaotic and disorganized you would find many people coming in the opposite direction I don't know why even though the plates should signify the start of the buffet table. The staff should instruct the guests in which direction they should go instead of clashing over a tray.

The location was an absolute dream for a getaway! Situated directly opposite the mall, it offered effortless convenience, while the surrounding neighborhood boasted an incredible variety of fantastic dining spots. The vibrant energy and fantastic food made the entire experience truly unforgettable.

Excellent location, breekfast suberb, staff very good and co-operative, overall stay comfprtable, hopefully we will visit again, family fully satisfied.
