the 3 bedroom apartments is huge. There is so much room with separate living/dining rooms, a separate kitchen and each bedroom is large with ensuite facilities.

Overall a very nice hotel although some facilities are now a little dated in the rooms. Staff exceptionally friendly with a good quality breakfast. An exceptional location for a high energy visit.

Smoking in other rooms easily seeped across into adjoining spaces due to communal connections.

On est arrivés à 20h et la suite n’était pas encore prête. Nous étions fatigués. Le hall d’entrée un peu vide mais au niveau de la réception c’est très beau. Dans la salle de bain des remontés d’odeurs.

The flow and accuracy of information. Different staff gave different instructions about restaurant usage. We walked back and forth but it’s ok - we get to exercise.

The main pool was closed for renovations. Alternative provision was made at another hotel's facility but we would have preferred to be able to enjoy our own hotel's facility.

The location

Cleanness, there was a bad smell in the pillow and it’s really very old pillow, even after complaining they did not change the pillow. The cabinets smelled like Indian spices. I had to spray perfumes every day to reduce the effect of the bad smell.

Staff where very friendly and service was excellent, they made the trip enjoyable. The location was also fantastic, connected to a wonderful shopping centre and we loved the overall feel of the accomodation.

Room service food after 10pm was not good.

I appreciated the level of attention and responsiveness once any issue was raised, which reflects well on the team’s commitment to guest experience. I also had the opportunity to meet the management team, who were approachable, helpful, and open to feedback. That said, in 2026, accommodating vegan and vegetarian guests should be a baseline expectation rather than an afterthought—especially for a hotel of this calibre. I have formally requested improvements in this area, as establishments of this standard should be leading the way in inclusive and forward-thinking dining options, not catching up. Whilst there were a number of vegan and vegetarian options available, the risk of cross-contamination was not managed to an acceptable standard. With a few meaningful adjustments, this hotel has the potential to deliver a truly exceptional and modern guest experience for all customers, regardless of food preference.

Tv did not have YouTube or cable tv which may be helpful when you have children during your stay.

The staff were amazing and so pleasant and helpful. We had a club rooms which my wife and I loved.

We are still waiting for our security deposit to be returned after 9 days. (Security deposit was 1800 myr, the club room we booked was only 1520 myr for the night) We sent messages via booking.com and no replies at all. Sent 3 emails and finally got an email back today, saying it can take up to 14 days, they said they processed it and just to wait. Really that's not good enough, especially when the deposit is more than the price of the room.

設備が古いのと、外の騒音は残念でした。 バスタブにお湯を溜めたら1泊目は茶色、2泊目は緑色、3泊目はお湯を溜めるのやめました。お風呂に入れなかったのは残念でした。 スイートで楽しみでしたが、そこまでのラグジュアリー館はありませんでした。

We loved the buffet! Variety of food and change of menu daily. The rooms were huge. Comfortable beddings and carpeted flooring. The lobby is beautiful and clean. The toilets had bidets which was very important for us.

We had a disappointing experience with the spa pool during our stay. We were repeatedly asked to leave the spa pool and directed to the "family pool" in the next building. However, upon arriving there, we found that it was not particularly family-friendly at all. The family pool was actually deeper than the spa pool, with a depth of 4.9 feet compared to the spa pool which was 4.5ft. Even as adults we could not reach the bottom. The area was also very exposed to strong winds, making the water extremely cold, and there was no pool heater available. We didn't see other families using the pool during our visit. The only child-friendly facilities provided were a single float for our 6-year-old and a small inflatable baby pool placed at the side, which felt inadequate for a pool that was supposedly designated for families. I hope management will seriously look into this situation and reconsider the current pool rules. The experience left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. Overall, our stay was good and I could have easily given the hotel a perfect 10/10 rating, but because of this experience, I have rated it 9/10 instead. If nothing changes, this may unfortunately be our last visit.

A great heritage building situated in an excellent location. The hotel oozes charm and class. The on-site Cantonese restaurant, Li Yen, is absolutely fantastic. Chef Alex and his staff run an excellent restaurant. The Lobby Lounge and Cobalt Lounge staff were so friendly.

Arriving 2 hours after the permitted check-in time to be told that our room was still undergoing final inspections. Despite this, the manager was gracious enough to allow us a 2 hour extension to our check-out time.

Beautiful property right at the heart of the city and just around the corner from Jalan Alor. We were greeted warmly by staff at the entrance and check in was super smooth. Stunning areas to just relax in. The room was tastefully designed with opulent decor and thoughtful detail. Nicely maintained rooms (could do with replacing the carpet). The bathroom was fantastic - lots of space and great toiletries (Diptyque!!). We had an extremely early check out so the hotel kindly arranged for us to take away our breakfast! I will DEFINITELY be back, but for longer!!

中心のブキッビンタンに位置しており買い物、観光にとても便利てした。MRTの駅にも近くて助かりました。

ホテルとレジデンスがあるのを知らずに、最初レジデンスのエレベーターで上がろうとしても部屋の鍵では反応しないため、かなり手間取りました。たまたまホテルマンが乗ってきて初めてここはレジデンス側でホテルは向こうだと聞かされ、館内は広くある意味迷路のようなので、チェックイン後疲れているのになかなか部屋に行き着くのに手間取りました。チェックインの際にひと言案内していただけると助かると思いました。

住宿位置在市中心，地點方便。餐廳早餐極差，沒有專業態度，食物沒有特色，味道差，而且廚子人手不足，一人要做四個崗位，餐廳不整潔，只有包餅可以接受。

房間整潔，但係浴室花灑出水弱，須要改善，另外升降機內燈光暗，年長客人看不清樓層號碼。 前枱職員不專業，我的訂單號是訂兩間房，她查記錄回覆我只有一間房，所以只為我預備一間房，擾攘一番，前枱職員才去請示上級查詢，才確認我是訂兩個房間的，要再安排另一房間给我。

Les chambres sont très anciennes et méritent un rafraîchissement. La qualité est bien en dessous des autres 5 étoiles de Kuala Lumpur. La literie est de qualité médiocre. Et l’insonorisation est à refaire. Impossible de fermer l’œil de la nuit, on entend TOUS les bruits extérieurs et intérieures malgré que nous étions au 7eme étage. Beaucoup d’espace commun qui ne servent à rien et qui sont vides. Des étages entiers de salons à répétition vides. Nous avons appelés de dizaine de fois la réception mais personne ne répondait au téléphone. Nous avons dû nous déplacer et il n’y avait personne pendant un long moment donc nous sommes repartis. La piscine est déplorable comparé aux autres établissements aux alentours.

It is comfortable and luxury hotel...in my next trip whether for personal or business requirement I will stay for sure at the Ritz Carlton

I ordered room service for my children on the first night and the items we ordered were not pleasant.

Nous ne savons même pas par où commencer : dès notre arrivée, le personnel nous a accueillis comme il se doit. Nous avions réservé une suite deux chambres de 175 m², tout simplement incroyable, avec une petite attention à notre arrivée. Nous n’avions encore jamais constaté un sens du service aussi poussé. Nous avons même pu bénéficier d’un check-out à 14h, alors que nous n’avions pas réservé via leur site, tout en étant membres GOLD. Que dire du petit déjeuner, si ce n’est qu’il est exceptionnel, tant par le choix que par la qualité des produits. La salle de sport est également très bien équipée.

I need an invoice of my stay, but the front desk refused to issue it to me because they said I made my payment on booking.com. I told them even I reached out to booking, it will ask me to contact the hotel for the invoice. I don’t get it why they refused to give it to me because obviously I paid for the stay. It was absolutely horrible experience when I checked out. My problem with the invoice wasn’t solved either til now. In addition, the room was old and cleaning didn’t done well. I found somebody’s hair on the floor. I will not visit ritz ever again.
