Provider-sourced guest reviews.
I loved the location. The lobby was also nice. The front desk manager was very kind. The store option were could, though I wish they had some sort of energy shot haha. The pool was also nice, very big and had a deeper deep end than I am used to which I liked.
There was hair in one of the drawers (indicating to me it wasn't opened and cleaned). Also a little hair in the shower. The the only thing I truly disliked was the timer on the lights in the restroom. That should just be a switch.
Location, friendly and helpful staff
Perfect spot for Disneyland.
Staff just seemed uninterested from check in through checkout. I don’t expect backflips but to be acknowledged like “hi” is surely a bare minimum? I ended up avoiding front desk eventually because they carried a disinterested manner ever time I walked past.
Great staff, great facility, awesome staff, and distance to the park!
Paying for parking when I’m staying at the hotel is a bit annoying.
La ubicación es excelente para ir a pie a los parque y al Downtown y buenos restaurantes a los alrededores
Como adicional debería tener un traslado para huéspedes del hotel a los parques
Shuttle and laundry
It was a very affordable price for property so close to the Anaheim Convention Center.
The grab n go downstairs for quick chips and snacks was insanely overpriced and the bathrooms and rooms need some rejuvenating.
Close to Disney. Shuttle arrives Avery 30 mins.
Could be updated. Deep cleaning needed throughout
Location of the hotel.
Back door doesn’t work with key card. Breakfast buffet is not great for 18 dollars a person.
I enjoyed the proximity the hotel was to all the locations we were going to on our trip, such as the Disneyland Resorts and restaurants.
Firstly, we were charged for parking daily almost the same rate as non-residents of the hotel. That, I found to be inconsiderate and disappointing. Also, we were told housekeeping was to come on our third day but nobody ever came during our four day stay. I had to call for towels and toilet paper (we did not have DND up). When staff brought the items to room they were rude and not communicative.
Proximidade com o evento do qual participei
Equipamentos antigos, banheiro funcionando mal, ar condicionado barulhento, elevadores lentos e antigos, carpete velho. Academia sem alteres.
Very Good
Nothing
Elevator close to front lobby.
Parking is far from the front and have to check in then park. For people with handicap it can be difficult.
That it was next to Disneyland nice views and comfortable rooms
It was quiet and peacful & the staff were helpful. The location was good & the view was pretty.
The room was a little bit outdated & the drawer on the nightstand wouldn't stay closed & was in the way so I had to prop it closed with a hangar. Overall, the room was clean & the beds were comfortable.
The location is great, close to everything. I was there for a conference and was able to walk to the convention center in a short distance. The lobby was clean and updated; the rooms were clean.
Housekeeping did not replace all the towels. I had to ask three times: morning, noon, and finally at night; I received them. The food in the restaurant is just okay. Not a big selection of healthy food. The Caesar salad lettuce was not that fresh
Location
Somewhat not so clean
Nice comfortable room, clean, great AC, easy accessible parking
Breakfast buffet is a rip off at $17.50 when it is served the type of food you get for free for breakfast at most hotels. Also parking pass wouldn’t scan so constantly had to call front desk to be let in and out of parking
ディスニーへのアクセスがとてもよかった。
古い感じがした。
The pool was a good size and they had extra towels incase you forgot yours. They were very nice and I would not mind to go again.
My brother said to mention the bathroom was too small for him.
The location and staff were top notch. Quiet and close to everything.
Hotel is ran down. Rooms are muggy and nasty. Bathrooms were filthy. Super over priced parking fee at 30$ a night is crazy. Make sure to tell them at checkout you did not use the safe if you didn't use it. They charge a nightly fee for it that is refundable. Do not buy snacks there either, hella over priced. Also be sure to walk around the building if you park in the back. The back door never worked. I would stay again if I had to but wouldn't if I have a choice.
Excelente servicio y muy cómodo para la familia
I like how close it is to Disney and just a walk across the street to Toy Story parking.
My shower was filthy. I informed the front desk and they said it would be cleaned right away, it wasn’t so I had to clean it myself. Came back to the hotel late both nights so it wasn’t able to be cleaned by staff. Thank goodness for target being so close.
The room was clean and the property well maintained. Had a small issue with noise so if that bothers you, bring ear plugs. About a mile to Disneyland or a quick jaunt across the street to the Toy Story shuttles. I paid for the hotel shuttle and waited so long I never attempted to take it again. Good if you don’t have a time commitment and can wait. Beds were very comfortable especially after a day in the parks. Shower pressure could have been a little better but the temp was amazing. I didn’t trust the shampoo and conditioner - looked a little thin for my hair so I just used my own. Towels were fluffy and plentiful. Definitely will stay again. This is my go to for Disneyland trips.
Walking distance to Disneyland
Bathroom door kept getting stuck
White glove service! Beds were very comfortable, staff was very friendly shoutout to Iliana and Lindsey for making a memorable experience :)
Nothing, not for the price they charge. I know it’s an old building but still fells like the 80’s. Had to change rooms because the toilet would not flush. I had to go to management to demand a room change. Front desk wanted me to wait for maintenance.
Almost every thing. Hallway curtains look dirty. Bathrooms had ugly yellow tile from the 70’s. Plus after all of that they changed 32 dollars to park in their lot. Plus they tell you that it will take up too 30 days for a refund on your security deposit. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Excellent stay. The staff was friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Great service, convenient location, and "OUTSTANDING" hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again!
Location Bed was very comfortable
Bathroom was tight. The door opened in and was hard to maneuver
We took a family trip to Disney for the year and decided to stay at the clarion hotel. It’s your basic affordable hotel, we enjoyed the easy breakfast options and location was easy to get to and from the parks. The shining star was Iliana. She was such a welcoming bright personality. She was beyond helpful, and kind. I would come back simply because of her!
Personal and a great location
Very clean and comfortable rooms
Close to park
Parking , and breakfast not included
During our trip from Japan to Disneyland in California, my friend celebrated her 17th birthday. It was her first trip abroad and her first time traveling without her parents, so I wanted to make it a truly unforgettable birthday. Before our trip, we ordered a custom-made birthday cake from a nearby bakery and asked the hotel if they could receive the delivery for us. To our surprise, when we returned from a long day at Disneyland, the hotel staff had already placed the cake in our room. They even prepared handheld "Happy Birthday" balloons for us! After walking around Disneyland all day, we were exhausted, but thanks to the hotel's thoughtful surprise, we were able to celebrate her birthday in the best possible way. Their kindness and attention to detail made this trip even more special. We are truly grateful for their wonderful hospitality. If I ever have the chance to visit Anaheim again, I would love to stay at this hotel again. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
Our first ever BAD hotel experience. Rooms are outdated and have a musky smell to it. They gave us an accessible room at the end of the hall. That room was next to the pool so all we heard that first day were kids screaming at the pool. Room is not sound proof. We are not handicapped nor did we request that room. So the shower was a walk in shower but it’s a flat surface that then is slanted so all the water runs onto the entire bathroom floor, flooding it. It did not have a glass door, only a shower curtain so there is literally nothing preventing water from going everywhere. So we had to put our towels on the ground because it literally flooded the entire bathroom floor. We asked the front desk to switch to a room that had an actual tub and at first they tried to tell me the only rooms with a tub were suites and we’d have to pay extra for that. Website shows tubs in the photos for a normal double bed room. They eventually moved us to a room two doors down and guess what, it had a tub, but that tub had a clog and took forever to drain. It also took over 10 MINUTES TO GET HOT WATER. Front desk did NOT seem concerned about it when I called to tell them there was no hot water. They give you passes for parking to scan going in and out of the lot, but it wouldn’t work, we couldn’t leave the lot and had to walk back inside to ask for another one. Tried to leave and that one didn’t work either. Someone had to come outside to let us out of the gate. The amount you have to pay for parking a day, isn’t worth the hassle. The only good thing is location. It’s right next to the Toy Story parking lot so you can get on their shuttles to Disneyland. Hotel itself, not worth it.
Nothin staff were rude and they out is in a different room than the one we pay
Staff was rude and condescending, we paid for a king size room and they put us in double room instead , they mention take it or leave it
It was nice that it had a pool and a bar
Our room was very outdated old furniture our beds squeaked so much, and the ac made the room humid
Boa localização
Great location, price was good for size of the room.
Fine for the price
I stayed here for my trip to Disneyland Resort. The location was excellent—it's within walking distance to the resort and very close to the Toy Story Parking Lot. The room was spacious, and it offered the best balance of price and service among all the Good Neighbor Hotels. The only disappointment was that some of the USB sockets in the room were not working.
Everything .. we love this hotel. It is our go to place when we come to Disneyland. The rooms are great, the beds are super comfortable and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Super location, walking distance from Disneyland and close to local shops and places to eat, it really is amazing.
I can't think of what would make it better than maybe cheaper parking.
Es muy cómodo y limpio
El trato de la empleadas
Nice hotel, liked the pool area and was clean. Beds comfortable and shower easy to use. Staff friendly and helpful. Food availability could be better, bar didn't open til 4 so nothing between breakfast and early dinner. Would stay again.
It’s ok
The parking
I loved the close proximity to the Toy Story lot. Literally across the street! We didn’t have time to try the food but it smelled very good!
The first room we were in wasn’t bad but the way we “upgraded” through booking.com said we would get a balcony and we didn’t get one in that room so I called and requested one and they were so sweet and nice about it! The second room we were in smelled very mildew and the covers felt moist. It was a weird feeling but nothing I can’t fix, opened the balcony ran the ac and undid the covers for them to dry. Overall it was an amazing stay and we would definitely stay again
Love this hotel, walking distance from Disneyland, close to shops, the rooms are great and the beds and pillows are SO comfortable. It is my go to hotel when we stay in this area ..
The beds seemed clean. The floors and bathroom did not. The room door wasn't closed when we arrived so we had to make sure the room was safe and unoccupied, and the patio door wasn't locked either. There was a ton of road noise, the curtains didn't block out enough morning light, and even on the 3rd floor there was a ton of road noise. The mattress was ridiculously firm and the pillows were firm and lumpy. That said, the linens were very soft, and the proximity to the parks as well as to the Toy Story lot were pretty good. It was fine for a place to crash, it just wasn't luxurious.
Sub par if it was a $100 per night hotel and it was priced 3 times that. From the beds, to pillows, to internet, to the restaurant, to the parking prices, I was completely disappointed.
Great location and great value for money
Most of the the front desk appeared grumpy
Was in Anaheim for a conference at the ACC, location is great, price decent, staff is friendly and helpful. Pool was very good, gym is small but adequate. Breakfast buffet was priced well but could use more variety but still a very good option. Room was cleaned every 2 days and the cleaning staff was very friendly
Absolutely loved my stay! All the staff was friendly and professional! Rooms were very comfortable! Bathroom was a bit small but still comfortable. Breakfast is only included depending on your selection. Super satisfied overall!
Location, facilities, value for money, bath
No milk for coffee
Close proximity to convention center and food trucks
This resort has a cool 80’s retro vibe about it. It’s a trip back to simpler times, well maintained grounds and overall a nice place. The room appeared straight out of 1988 but everything was clean and in nice shape. The bathroom is dated but functional. The beds were fantastic and the rooms each have a balcony which is nice. The pool area is small but nice, the fitness center is nicely equipped for a workout. The location is just a couple blocks from Disney and there are places to eat within a couple blocks. The only thing preventing 5 stars is the lack of a free breakfast. There is a restaurant on site with a buffet breakfast but most hotels offer a similar breakfast for free. Would also be nice if there was a dedicated coffee shop in the hotel as well. I was very impressed with the Clarion and would stay here again!
Location to Disneyland
Bathroom on arrival was dirty, bath had water in, beard shavings were still in the sink and mould on curtains. Reported it to Reception and were given an alternative room with a view over the rear of the ground floor extension. Staff were disinterested. Based on the radio message we overheard the mouldy curtains were not being cleaned.
Location is great, staff as well.
Toilet not functioning properly when we arrived. Also happened last time we stayed there.
The location has been great for volleyball tournament 2 years in a row.
Parking is expensive for guest. Majority of gym equipment didn’t work. View of an AC graveyard by the pool wasn’t great. Staff is friendly and helpful in person but not over the phone.
Breakfast was good and location was great too
This hotel is nice on the outside and lobby. The rooms didn’t feel clean at all. The bathroom is very small and not well kept. All the TV channels did not work and despite asking 3 times no one ever helped get them working. It is a close walk to Disneyland which is why we selected this hotel in the first place
When people travel there is an array of elements that enhance their experience. For us the Clarion hits every mark. Affordable, clean, comfortable rooms, close proximity to Disney, friendly accommodating staff and great food. Knowing one aspect of your vacation will be worry free is settling. The value may start with the pricing but extends to the various features that complete our stay. In the morning you can get breakfast in the cafe and after a long day at the park enjoy the spacious pool. One of our favorite perks is ,in the evening, they serve a great menu in the bar (kid friendly). For us nothing better than not having to leave the hotel for good food. If your coming in from out of town there is enough hassles with arranging transportation, Disney tickets and reservation so take one thing off your plate. If the aspects I've mentioned seem reasonable to you, then this is the your place. K.Henderson
Our vehicle was vandalized and there are no cameras in parking. Safety is a huge deal for my and my family. If it’s yours then I advise you not to stay
Room size was large.
Room had a strange smell. Full size beds are rough and not comfortable. Pull out couch mattress was broken down and very stained. :-(.
Very close proximity to Disneyland.
The landscaping was beautiful.
The rooms were old. Wallpaper peeling, toilet kept gurgling randomly, staff didn’t know how to answer questions.
Location
Old and outdated definitely not worth the price
Fair enough
The bathroom had some hair on the floor. Didn’t seem clean enough.
Honestly, this was one of the best stays we've had as a travel sports parent. It was at a convenient location, walking distance from convention center. The ease of check-in and availability was great. The price was even better and the rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and made the experience great.
The location was great, especially as I was attending a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center. The room and the hotel overall were quite good, and the room was clean and spacious for one person. It does have a slightly older 90s/early 2000s feel, but everything was functional and comfortable.
Booked this as part of our Disney trip. Location is perfect! The Toy Story lot is right across from the hotel and from room to boarding the shuttles was about 10 minute walk. You go through security before boarding and then straight into the park entrance area. I asked when we checked in about getting to the Toy Story lot and was told it is a very far walk. The hotel offers a paid shuttle to the parks. Room was clean and comfortable -it is double beds! We were able to go out on the balcony, so if you have small, adventurous children you may need something to deter them. Bathroom was clean, however, the bathtub did not drain well. They provide shampoo, conditioner, bar soap and lotion. Small fridge in room which is helpful with families.
The value was great! Everything was very clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were helpful and attentive. The location is ideal for a budget Disneyland option.
We honestly don’t have any complaints. The beds were a bit small but that’s to be expected and with a room that sleeps 5 but they were still very comfortable.
We really enjoyed the proximity to the toystory lot and how wonderful nice the staff was
Our only complaint would be we wished the beds were queens over a full
PARKING FEE?????????? IT MIGHT KEEP ME FROM STAYING THERE AGAIN
We picked this hotel for the location. It felt safe & clean
We were placed in a room on the top floor that ran parallel with the elevator system. We had a baby with us and the noise wasn't easy to sleep with all night. We asked to be moved in the morning & the staff was blah about helping.
The availability to walk to the shuttles for Disneyland. Just across the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will be going back.
Lol.. since we were just there for a couple of days it was not a big deal. But the toilet was not flushing perfectly. You have to hold it down for everything to go down. And sometimes that wasn't enough. And in the middle of the night you would gurgling noises lol. Sounds like something was trying to come out lol. Told the staff but hopefully the problem will be fixed. But all in all the hotel is very good.
Location to Disneyland and restaurants
Curtains didn't block out all the sun and people were smoking on the balcony below us. Beds were a bit smaller than anticipated
It was ok could be a little more clean
No house cleaning during my stay
Location was PERFECT the closest I have been to the convention center
Have no complaints The best service ever I’ve even stayed at the Marriott and never received this great service
It was walking distance to many places.
Where do I start? Waited in a long line to check in, during the busiest afternoon times and only had one person working the front desk. The shower is absolutely ridiculous. The hot water heater must be micro, because I could barely get the water to turn hot and when it finally did, it was hot for about five minutes. Literally took a lukewarm shower every night. The water in the tub doesn’t drain correctly, and you’re basically in 1-2inches of water within two minutes. On one of the days the housekeeping crew came, they cleaned the room but didn’t close the door all the way, so it was open for who knows how long! When I got back to the room, after being away for seven hours, I was shocked to see the door open. I carefully opened the door all the way and checked to see if anyone was in the room. Then I inspected the room and pretty much found everything undisturbed. I quickly went down the front desk, made my complaint, only for the “manager” to tell me there is nothing they can do. They can have the morning management look at the security camera. I asked if I could get a copy of their report and he stated no! No? Excuse me?! Someone was in my room and left my door open and I can’t know anything about it? I felt so violated and scared and they didn’t do anything to remedy the situation. After that experience, I will never stay at this place ever again.
Location and pretty clean being and old hotel
Can hear guest in the next room talking
Very convenient area! The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable.
My room could have used newer curtains. Kind of warn from the sun…
Close to Disneyland and I like the shuttle, even though it was small price it picked up right in front of the hotel
Nice, clean and quiet area
The WiFi system. It was too hard to connect I had to work using my personal hot spot.
Muy bien
La recepcionista fue un poco ruda con nosotros pero al dia siguiente hablamos con la Encargada y se disculpo
I can not say enough amazing things about the hotel staff. They are truly the absolute best in generosity and kindness. This is my third stay this year and each stay I've been on a different floor. This stay I was on the 4th floor because I had requested to change my room to one with a balcony so I could open the door for fresh air. The front desk staff was able to accommodate an early check in and change my room. I stayed in a 2 double bed room with a balcony. The size of the room is great and had updated wallpaper, more modern furniture and TV, refrigerator and a table with two chairs where we could eat. The bathroom had also been updated from older yellowish tiling to laminate wood type flooring. We enjoyed the pool and are frequent visitors to the lounge (opens at 4) where they make the best club sandwich (with accompanying tator tots) I've ever had. The overall feel of the hotel is definitely dated - think 80's, but one of the things I love is that there is always 80's music playing which just brings me such joy. We attended an event at the Convention Center which was a short 7 minute walk and even went to Disneyland this trip catching the shuttle located between the Clarion and the Marriott. I requested a late checkout due to our schedule changing and the front desk staff again was incredibly accomodating and pushed my check out to 1:30 (for a small fee).
The bathrooms are really tiny. Unless you get an ADA room, you can expect this in all the bathrooms. The bathrooms feel like they've been downsized to make more room for the beds and overall room size. But they really are tiny. When you open the door to the bathroom, the door is so close to the toilet so you have to walk in, step between the tub and the toilet to close the door behind you. Also, this room didn't have a microwave which my previous rooms did. Not a deal breaker by any means as there is a community microwave on the first floor, just a minor inconvenience.
Close to venue
I got there to have my younger Daughter on time for Cheer event. Wife was in hospital got discharged and came down later with my older daughter and they wouldn’t let them park at location even though the back parking was empty the whole night and day we were there. My wife and daughter drove 2 hours back home.
