OKU Ibiza vs Similar Hotels

Rooms described as sublime and of very good standard, with a few minor notes about bedding and light entering the room.

Positive comments on decor and comfort.

Rooms are often described as spacious with comfortable beds and good fittings, but there are repeated issues (non-working safe, occasional non-working air conditioning, empty minibar, dark bathrooms and noisy extractor) that make this category slightly mixed.

Mixed: rooms are described as comfortable, but several guests mention lack of storage, very small bathrooms, thin doors/poor soundproofing and some rooms located near reception/kitchen causing disturbance.

Generally reported as very clean (comments like 'Propre', 'Limpeza do quarto', 'good standard of rooms').

Multiple reviews mentioned cleanliness issues, particularly dirty rooms.

Multiple reviews describe the hotel as clean and well maintained (e.g., 'clean and well maintained', 'Molto bello e pulito'); minor issues like missing blankets on arrival reported but overall cleanliness is praised.

Consistently praised across reviews: 'Todo está muy limpio', 'Cleanliness', 'Schone kamers' and positive mentions of attentive housekeeping.

Frequently described as excellent — great location and atmosphere repeatedly highlighted by guests.

Good location mentioned positively.

Consistently highlighted as a major strength: central, close to taxi rank, San Antonio square and sea boulevard; reviewers repeatedly note the excellent location for restaurants and bars.

Dominant positive theme: spectacular location and views, iconic spot for sunsets, direct sea access and excellent terrace/setting repeatedly highlighted.

Mostly praised as attentive and friendly (multiple mentions of excellent staff, helpful voiturier and named staff), though isolated issues reported (stolen sunglasses suspicion, slow pool service, minor onboarding info gap).

Generally positive mentions of staff, with a few exceptions.

Staff are repeatedly described as attentive, friendly and helpful ('very attentive and professional', 'couldn’t do more helpful'), but there are service lapses (safe not fixed after reporting, maid removing pyjamas, spa voucher only after asking) which lower the score slightly.

Reception, housekeeping and many staff repeatedly described as very friendly and helpful (Héctor, Laura, Lori, Kate and reception team singled out); a few comments note restaurant staff were not always attentive to hotel guests.

Breakfast repeatedly called excellent, general food praised; Japanese restaurant singled out as exceptional (though pricey).

Some complaints about breakfast availability and quality.

Breakfast and some dining receive praise (good breakfast, local products, some guests called the food amazing), while a few found food average; rooftop bar noted as well priced.

Breakfast receives consistent praise ('Great breakfast'); dinner/restaurant described as delicious by many but considered expensive and service mixed for hotel guests.

Pools and facilities praised (two pools, adults-only option), but gym is small and the adult-only pool policy caused frustration for families.

Some complaints about the minibar and limited bar offerings.

Spa and rooftop facilities are strong positives (beautiful spa, lovely rooftop pool/terrace, sunbeds, towels provided, well-priced bar); only downside noted is the shallow pool depth (40 cm) which some found awkward.

Strong amenities cited: terrace, garden, sea access and chic decor; popular restaurant/aperitif areas enhance the experience though they bring outside visitors at times.

Mixed signals: some call it excellent value for money while others find it expensive (restaurant prices, taxi costs, no free water in room).

Some found prices high for minibar and services, but overall decent value.

Many guests call it good value or excellent price ('good value for money', 'price amazing'), though some complaints (extra charges for spa, refundable deposit requirement) temper the score slightly.

Repeated concerns about high restaurant prices and overall price-quality for food; guests note good quality but consider the F&B pricing steep.
