Holiday Inn Express - Derry - Londonderry by IHG

Habitació molt gran, espaiosa i llits molt còmodes. Esmorzar molt complet.

Una nit vam sentir molt soroll del carrer i música. No té aparcament gratuït.

Location was excellent. It is easy and close walking distance to the Peace Bridge and Old walled city. Hotel desk Staff was great.

AC in room wasn’t working properly. It was remodeled and modern but no mirror for doing hair or makeup near the plug for hair dryer outside bathroom. A free standing mirror would work. Facility clean but chair in room filthy as well as around baseboards. So more thorough cleaning necessary.

Breakfast was very good, everything I was well cooked. Hotel well situated to where I was going.

Can’t think of anything

Breakfast was a little chaotic with the fact that there was a large group staying in the hotel so little room to have a table when all dining at the same time

Location is great, right in the city centre. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and standard of room. Everywhere smelt lovely. Breakfast was a bit all over the place but just grabbed what I wanted and sat down. Food was perfect for a hangover, mixture of fry and granola, fruit, yoghurt, tea and coffee. Staff were also lovely. Parking across the road in Quay centre, they reduce your parking to £14 for an over night stay or another car park 2 mins down the road which is an outdoor one with a meter. Would defo book again.

Location

Had a handicap room where the shower curtain did not reach from end to end on rod and was at least a foot short of the floor. Water was everywhere. Green light in ceiling stayed on all night and was able to turn it off. In the morning at breakfast must have been 6 to 7 bickers coming down the elevator and leaving their bikes in lobby and eating area. Then one starting a battery operated air pump that was very loud and annoying. Nobody from your staff did anything about any of it.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful

Nice and comfortable

Great location

Could have been cleaner in the bar

Very friendly, helpful staff.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Great stay

The staff is very nice and helpful, especially Alan.

Location and access to the walled city

Room was excellent. Receptionist was excellent at his job.

Off loading facilities and at time of booking I was unaware of where the parking was and the fact that even with discount I had to pay £14 for overnight parking

Good location & friendly staff

Room too warm & noise from outside

Hotel was excellent, great location in the middle of Derry with parking just across the road in the multi storey. Staff very friendly and great breakfast.

Great staff. Warm and welcoming. Great spot. Lovely filling breakfast

A minutes walk from everything you may need from pubs to restaurants to shops

Can't fault derry

It was conveniently located, parking close by, and the room very clean and comfortable.

Great staff all round and handy

There was no faults

Encantadores. La ubicación la comodidad de la cama.

Nada

Lovely breakfast

All good

The Breakfast and Lication were good

To put a hen party in an adjoining room with a child was madness, we got at most 3 hrs sleep, room allocations really need to be looked at when allocating rooms this was the worst nights sleep we have even encountered in a hotel.

The bed was comfortable, easy road access to shops amd pubs

Couldn't fault it

Self service breakfast was good quality. Hotel was very central, very clean and staff very friendly and helpful.

Nothing.

The location and staff

Nothing

Unbelievable location, close to everything. The staff were brilliant especially Laurence, who checked us in and looked after us.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Location was very central to everything

No problems at all. Everything good

Friendly staff

I think the only thing the rooms are lacking is a small fridge

Great place to stay at a great price, staff were friendly, rooms clean and a lovely breakfast, will defintely be back

Location.

The extra bed wasn’t made up. The stench coming from the bathroom was horrendous. Tried numerous times to call reception - never answered. Under the bed was filthy.

Great location and friendly staff

It was quiet during the night and lovely breakfast.

Great stay, great location and great bar next door. Would go back

All good

Parking

Bedroom were excellent

Area for breakfast very busy and staff couldn’t keep up clearing tables. Food was good.

Location, comfort and staff

This place is up there with the best ! The most friendly check in & the room to match. Great breakfast & cheap parking .

All good

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, good selection. Lobby was nice and laid back. Air conditioning in room was a welcome bonus. Overall, hotel was clean and felt safe.

Would be nice if the car parking had been subsidised a bit more. Maybe provide more than two sachets of coffee.

So close to everything. Room bright and spotless. Staff helpful. I'll ne back

Staff were lovely

Tiles in bathroom needed good scrub everything else was good

Very convenient location for exploring the city - short walk to all the points of interest, restaurants and bars. Breakfast buffet was small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Bedrooms were very clean and beds were comfortable.

Location, and general feeling of the hotel. Also the breakfast was good.

The air condition in the room came on and off in short blasts. Which made the room quiet then noisy. It disturbed the sleep, so switched it off

Very central location.

Breakfast was good with a decent selection of food and drink. Plenty of space in the dining area and tables are cleared fairly regularly.

Cutlery needs to be restocked more frequently. On both mornings we had to ask staff for knives.

Great welcome upon check in. Perfect location in city centre with public car park directly opposite. Great ensuite shower room. Dove toiletries was a super touch. Comfortable beds with luxurious bedding. Breakfast was included in our rate. It was wide ranging and plentiful.

In Ireland and no soda bread at breakfast???? No!

Albergo in posizione centrale vicino a un parcheggio a pagamento. Struttura moderna, personale gentile

Location, Bar, Breakfast being included

The location, tha staff and the facilities were spot on

Nothing comes to mind

Location and friendly staff

.

Rien

Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Location was great. Friendly staff.

ubicación y comodidad de las camas

La televisión no funcionaba. No dejaba conectar Netflix

Location staff were very helpful breakfast was substantial

Nothing

-gute Lage -angenehmes Bett -gute inkludierte Pflegeprodukte

The guy on reception went out of his way to accommodate us on our room

Friendly , helpful staff . Good breakfast and good dining menu.

Room to small and stains on the carpent.

Love how close it was to all the shops and tourist attractions. About 10 minutes walk to the Foyle side for some shopping

I have one critique which was the previous occupants socks under the bed. Not a big deal but just to make sure rooms are tidied properly for the next guest.

Location was great and so was breaking

The room was really dirty, stained sheets and bed, had to go to reception and ask for new sheets, had to also change them ourselves

I like the location the hotel and staff, I have stayed there many times and couldn't fault anything.

Vicino al centro, personale molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione nella media.

Everything was amazing staff was so friendly and accommodating would definitely stay again

Basic but acceptable if problem below is tackled

Please check arrangements for inspecting cutlery. It was very off putting to find dirty knives forks spoons and glasses at breakfast

Central location and friendly staff

Everything was fine

Staff were very friendly. Great location. Bar next door is top class. Free breakfast each morning was really nice.

Was greated by a sewage smell coming from our bathroom. I ran the hot tap and shower for 5 minutes and it eventually went but the smell was horrendous. Room overall was not very clean. Stains on mattresses and floor.

Prima hotel in het centrum van Derry.

Niets

Room has AC and the staff were very polite and helpful.

The bathroom shower lacked a proper screen or enclosure, so water easily splashed outside while showering, leaving the bathroom floor very wet. We booked a room with a sofa bed for our kids, but its placement right at the entrance made the layout very cramped. Once the bed was pulled out, there was barely any space left to move around the room comfortably.

Friendly and helpful staff, well located and adjacent sports bar is a great addition

Nulla, risponde tutto a quanto descritto

The location was good and the breakfast was fine.

Our room was exceedingly warm and the so-called air conditioning did nothing to help. I asked at the front desk and they said they will turn the temperature down, but it didn't help. To say that their rooms are air conditioned is false advertising, in my opinion.

L’emplacement,

Breakfast was lovely. I ate in the restaurant in the hotel, Kaboodle and had the smash burger and chips. I devoured it! it was so tasty! The room was clean, great facilities. The hotel was clean. I required a taxi for an early set off and this was organised with ease. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Very reasonably priced.

Coffee was lukewarm warm, cutlery, plates and cups weren’t washed properly.

As above. Disappointing.

Conveniently located for city centre. Room very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Full range of self-service breakfast options.

Nothing really

L'emplacement central.

Colazione buona, posizione ottima

Gestione della reception … veramente scadente

Value for money food lovely staff were great

Nulla

Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful.

Room ‘tired’ and could do with a refresh.

Central city. Clean and welcoming

N/A

Good location in the city. A 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Good breakfast

Nothing to dislike

Accessible in my area of appointment

Cleanliness inside room must be improved as room is smelly and no tissues hasn’t been provided

Location was great

The loud bar across the street.

Lokacija i ljubazni osoblje

Ručnici su bili prlljavi i prozor napuknut

Great selection of breakfast items and the hours for having breakfast were very accommodating. Great location for the purpose of our stay.

Access to more pillows without the need to be asking for more especially as our booking was a family room.

Friendly

Very central to activities
