The location is amazing and the rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The rooms are very bare with patio side tables. No toiletries, besides hand soap near the basin and shampoo in the tub. No lotion, no conditioner, no slippers, no robe, nor vanity needs. Drinking water is water machines in the hall ways. Breakfast is minimum and one basically has to make his/her own eggs, juice, coffee. My "court yard view was actually a view of the air conditioning compressors with fake grass around it.

The airco was broken and made a lot of noises throughout the night. We notified the staff but it didn’t seem to be taken care of as we had this situation until we left.

Dorothee von der Rezeption war absolut furchtbar und hat dazu beigetragen, das wir uns in diesem Hotel nicht wohlgefühlt haben! Wir werden nur wegen ihr nie wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Es gab eine sehr unschöne Situation beim CheckIn. Sie ist in Ihrem Beruf vollkommen falsch und nicht kundenorientiert. Das andere Personal war ok, wobei wirklich gastfreundlich kann man es dort nicht nennen.

Soggiorno veramente bello posizione ottima personale super disponibile, nonostante io sia andato senza parlare benissimo l’inglese siamo riusciti a capirci e lo staff parla persino italiano. Colazione ottima non come quella italiana ma sulla base di una colazione americana c’è di tutto ed è buonissima, se si vuole avere una pausa caffè in pace la camera è dotata con macchietta del caffè e cialde nespresso, ti forniscono di accappatoi per la doccia e la camera è ospitale e pulita

The property was very located to the beach and centrally to Nice

I didn’t like the fact there are zero facilities at the hotel other than a very small reception and a restaurant which is for breakfast only. The private beach advertised on booking.com is incorrect as they don’t have access to a private beach, they offer a €4 discount for a €39 a day bed but you can go to another beach club down the road and pay €30. In comparison to other hotels I feel the price is way too high given the lack of facilities and isn’t what you’d expect a 4star hotel to be like.

Niestety nasz pobyt w hotelu Mercure w Nicei był dużym rozczarowaniem. Hotel sprawia wrażenie przestarzałego i przede wszystkim nie jest wystarczająco czysty. Pokój sam w sobie był w porządku, jednak całościowy standard hotelu zdecydowanie nie odpowiada cenie, jaką trzeba zapłacić za pobyt. Największym rozczarowaniem było śniadanie. Bardzo słabe, mało atrakcyjne i zdecydowanie poniżej poziomu, którego można oczekiwać od hotelu tej marki i w tej kategorii cenowej. Stosunek ceny do jakości oceniam bardzo źle. Za tę kwotę można oczekiwać znacznie lepszego standardu, większej dbałości o czystość oraz zdecydowanie lepszego śniadania. Niestety nie polecam tego hotelu i sama nie zdecydowałabym się na ponowny pobyt.

La posizione certamente strategica a due passi dal mare e dal centro e’ il plus. La migliore posizione per Nizza. Buona la colazione e gentili tutte le ragazze della sala colazione e il personale sui piani cosi come una signora della reception con la quale abbiamo fatto check out.

Molto deluso dall’accoglienza sin dal check in. Premetto di non essere abituato a fare delle recensioni negative ma in questi casi la scelta dell’hotel è il prezzo pagato per una notte di oltre 550 euro giustificavano in aspettativa molto alta che non è stata minimamente ripagata. L’hotel si trova ed è stato da noi scelto perché si presentava al pari di strutture che sono nella zona (Meridian, Park Avenue, West…) ma che nulla hanno a che vedere con il servizio altamente scarso offerto da Questo Mercure. La struttura non è semplice da trovare perché l’insegna è molto piccola e in una via angusta. In pratica la struttura si colloca ai primi 3 piani del palazzo in larga parte occupato dal Meridien. Non esiste servizio valigie all’arrivo ne’ un servizio car valet per parcheggiare la macchina. Così mentre mia moglie si scaricava le valigie da sola, sono stato dirottato in un parcheggio pubblico con un foglietto volante che mi dava sommarie informazioni. Ho espresso con educazione le mie rimostranze alla mancanza di un servizio valigie (soffro di plurime ernie discali) e mi è stato risposto di scrivere al Mercure. Nel mentre che andavo a parcheggiare in un parking pubblico, nonostante la struttura avesse la carta a garanzia di Booking, non è stato consentito a mia moglie di accedere alla camera effettuando il ckeck in. Le camere sono nuove e appena ristrutturate ma con un arredamento e uno stile molto semplice a basico. Nel frigo bar non c’era una bottiglia di acqua naturale o gassata ma per prendere da bere occorre andare nei corridoi dove c’è un dispenser. Una struttura da 3 stelle. Reduci da Cannes dove abbiamo pagato meno per un servizio assolutamente top e soddisfacente siamo rimasti davvero delusi e sconcertati.

К сожалению, этот отель совершенно не соответствует ни своей категории 4 звезды, ни своей стоимости. У отеля нет собственного открытого ресторана или террасы, где можно приятно провести вечер, а в лобби было довольно душно. Мы забронировали классический номер на одну ночь, рассчитывая хорошо выспаться, как это обычно бывает в других отелях сети Mercure. К сожалению, ожидания не оправдались. Номер был нормального размера, но кровать оказалась довольно жесткой и совсем не такой комфортной, как в других отелях Mercure. Подушки, однако, были хорошими. Ванная комната также разочаровала. Душевая кабина настолько маленькая, что даже мне при росте 172 см и весе 55 кг было тесно. В ванной комнате не было мусорного ведра и даже стакана для зубных щеток. Для сравнения, даже в трехзвездочном Holiday Inn рядом с аэропортом все эти элементарные вещи были предусмотрены. Отдельного упоминания заслуживает косметика NUXE. Дозатор геля для душа был оснащен ограничителем, из-за которого получить нормальное количество средства было практически невозможно. К счастью, у нас были с собой собственные шампунь, гель для душа, кондиционер и другие принадлежности. Однако в душевой не было ни одной полочки, поэтому все приходилось ставить на пол и каждый раз наклоняться. Кондиционер для волос и крем для тела также отсутствовали. Кроме того, запах геля для душа NUXE показался мне очень неприятным. Что удивило меня еще больше - на пляже Le Temps d’un Été в душевых также используется косметика NUXE, но там дозаторы работают нормально, без каких-либо ограничителей, а аромат совершенно другой и гораздо приятнее. После этого особенно трудно понять, почему четырехзвездочный отель решил экономить именно таким образом. Когда гости платят более 400 евро за ночь, им не должно приходиться буквально выдавливать по капле неприятно пахнущий гель для душа из дозатора с ограничителем. Самая неприятная ситуация произошла вечером. Когда мы уже легли спать, с потолка начала течь вода.

Very convenient location right on the promenade. The room was a decent size and the bed was very comfy.

For bedrooms with garden view there was no real natural light. If you opened the blinds you’d then have no privacy as the garden was right by the window. The hotel also didn’t provide shampoo or conditioner, just body soap.

Clean modern rooms right on the water and walking distance from central Nice. We booked last minute for the Monaco Grand Prix and were a little leery about booking.com, but the our rooms and the location exceeded expectations. Front desk was very helpful in arranging taxis to Monaco. The only glitch was that after booking two smaller rooms which were subsequently declined we booked two larger rooms; and then found when we arrived that we had three rooms. And because it was Grand Prix weekend, we could not cancel the extra. This was entirely booking.com's fault and not that of Hotel Mercure. Fortunately we encountered some travelers who were desperate to find accommodations and gladly took our extra room. Would definitely stay here whenever I am in Nice

Breakfast is only buffet with no a la carte. They do have a unique setup where you can fry your own egg - and I literally mean one egg. The pan is just big enough for one. A la carte omelette or eggs benedict et al should be an option

the value of money is not worth at all, there was nothing special about this hotel its old but renovated, however its still not well renovated, its ovarlly packed and it still feels old, the quality bad, the amount of money we paid we could've have gotten something way better. the view was in the inside not even outside on the road or the sea. wouldnt stay here again. I also feel bad for the staff in the front desk they are overwhelmed with everything but it seems like the management dont care.

While the location and the room itself were good, the service was severely lacking.

The hotel seems to be severely understaffed. The restaurant staff were unfriendly and clearly annoyed by any simple questions. ​Also, the room service was inadequate. It felt like basic room maintenance was ignored, leading to a lot of unnecessary inconvenience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel until they improve their service standards.

1. Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert, Rezeption behauptete, dass Test ergab, dass alles in Ordnung sei. Drei Tage später war Techniker in mehreren Zimmern tätig und dann hat die Klimaanlage endlich funktioniert. 2. Abfluss bei Dusche war verstopft, Rezeption behauptete, dass man es behoben hätte, doch das war nicht der Fall. Bei unserem Zimmer mit Blick auf Albert-Park gibt es Motoradparkplatz, sodass diverse Biker mit vielen Fehlzündungen uns am Schlafen hinderten. 3. Frühstücksraum war zu klein für die ca. 200 Zimmer sodass wir keinen Tisch bekamen und warten hätten müssen. 4. Die Betten waren sehr hart weshalb ich froh war, dass ich meine Auflage mit dabei hatte. 5. Ein Balkon auf dem man nur stehen kann ist auch ein Witz und leider gibt es nur einen Türflügel.

Die Chefin der Restaurants, Lisa war sehr unfreundlich und frech. Die Kaffeemaschine fehlte in Zimmer, kapseln war da aber doe Maschine nicht🤮 Habe dem Reception gesagt, nach einem Tag fragte ich wieder, doe antwort war ich habe es vergessen. Doe Maschine kamm nie. The daytime staff were rude, impatient and not at all helpful. Our room backed onto the wall with the electric for the elevator and the noise all night was unbearable. We asked to change rooms the next day and the staff were most unpleasant about it and when pushed, offered a room that was a very poor ground level and not a superior room that we had paid for.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, leider an einer grossen Kreuzung wo dann bis in den späten Abend sehr viel Verkehr und viele Leute unterwegs waren. Man konnte nicht mit offenem Fenster schlafen weil es sehr laut war.

Hotel was okay. Clean rooms. Excellent location. Staff were mostly nice except for a couple of women who were borderline rude and certainly not friendly or helpful. Also if you ask them to organize a taxi for you, specify you do want a taxi. One of these unhelpful women organized a private service for us to the rail station even though we requested a taxi. We didn't know this until he arrived. It was ridiculously expensive for the ten minute run and we were totally ripped off. If you need a taxi, ring Bolt. Overall, Nice was wonderful. Hotel was average.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. The hotels seems to have had a refurb since we last stayed there and the improvements are fantastic. Very modern stylish rooms, very comfortable beds, lovely bathroom. Coffee machine in the room.

The lift wasn’t working properly. Lots of builders around the hotel working.
