The location was great and the staff very accommodating. We were able to move to another room due to an injury of my friend who had trouble walking stairs. We very much appreciated that. Also, breakfast was very good, providing a great choice and enough fuel to start a day of exploring.

The shower did not have a ventilation system or if it did, I think it didn‘t work. It was very humid. We just left the window open all day and that was ok.

Accès à l'hotel impossible PMR et valises... et pas d'ascenseur chambre en étages, ni vers le sous sol petit déjeuner, vous mentionnez équipements PMR et chambres PMR comment on y accède avec un fauteuil roulant ???? Vous devez l'indiquer clairement dans le descriptif de l'hotel. et dommage car l'hotel est placé directement face à la mer sur la promenade !

bellissima vista mare dalle finestre, ottima posizione vicinissima sia al centro che alla spiaggia, ottima colazione . caffe' e tisane a disposizione in camera.

parcheggio un pochino lontano, non c'è la possibilità di fermarsi di fronte all'hotel per cui bisogna fare un po' di strada con le valigie ; camera un po' rumorosa, sulla strada.

We loved everything about this hotel. It has the best location in the area: across the street is the beach. The hotel is on the beautiful boulevard Promenade des Anglais, the most important attraction and iconic landmark in the city, Nice’s beating heart. The hotel is also in the middle of the old town, the hotel is a walking distance away from almost all landmarks in Nice. It has a nice breakfast and the staff are very friendly. The only thing you should know is that you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs because it has no elevators. Otherwise the hotel is simply excellent.

No elevator. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs is just horrible for our back. Since there is no elevator, the hotel should hire a concierge to help the people with their luggage. Or bring those three wheels carriage that climbs the stairs (they have those in Venice). This issue must be addressed, because everything else is great about the hotel.

It was well appointed, in a great location, offered nice amenities and a delicious breakfast. The staff was wonderful!

Tutto, praticamente perfetta! Direttamente sulla promenade, a 30 metri dalla Vecchia Nizza e a 150 metri da Piazza Massena. Comoda la tavola da stiro con il ferro, la macchina Nespresso e il bollitore. Colazione Top.

Abbiamo prenotato per 3 persone ma, all’arrivo, accappatoi/asciugamani per due. Anche il divanoletto non era stato preparato.

Elképesztő elhelyezkedés, csodás kilátással a tengerre, minden gyalogtávolságra, a strand, a vár, az öreg városrész, az éttermek, a világpiac. A személyzet nagyon kedves, mosolygós, segítőkész. A szoba (123) kényelmes, pont megfelelő méretű 2 felnőttnek és egy gyermeknek. Az erkélyen üldögélni és nézni a Promenade de l’ anglais nyüzsgését nézni felülmúlhatatlan. Az ablakok, erkélyajtók hangszigeteltek, így éjszaka is nyugodtan tudtunk pihenni.

The location was perfect for access to beach, old town and close proximity to tram line. The air-conditioning worked well.

I stayed in room 202, up a spiral staircase. The ceiling is low so this room would definitely not suit anyone approximately 6 foot or over. The bathroom/shower ceiling very low.

I would like to file a complaint regarding my recent stay. I booked and fully expected to receive the room I had reserved. However, when my friend and I arrived at the hotel late in the evening after flying from different cities, we were informed that there was no room available for us. This was extremely stressful and unacceptable. Instead of the room we had booked, we were given a larger room with a separate entrance from the street, next to the hotel. While the room was bigger, it was not the accommodation we had reserved, and we were never given a proper explanation for what had happened. The following day, we were told that our actual room would not be available until 2:00 p.m. As a result, we had to cancel our plans for the day and spend our time waiting for the room. This significantly affected our holiday and caused unnecessary inconvenience. As compensation for the inconvenience, we asked whether we could be upgraded to a better room, for example one with a sea view, but the hotel refused, saying it was not possible. In addition, the receptionist working that evening spoke very little English and was unable to communicate properly. The only information we repeatedly received was, “There is no room,” without any meaningful explanation or attempt to help us understand the situation. Overall, this experience fell far below the standard I expect from a property listed on Booking.com. I believe the hotel failed to honor my reservation and did not handle the situation appropriately. I kindly request that Booking.com investigate this matter and consider appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, lost time, and disruption to our trip. Thank you for your attention. Kinda poky and not the cleanest

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Nice Marché Aux Fleurs. The location is perfect just a short walk from the beach, the Old Town, and many of Nice's main tourist attractions. It is also very convenient, with tram stops and public transportation nearby, making it easy to explore the city. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which was fresh, varied, and delicious. The staff were welcoming, and everything made for a very pleasant stay. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.

Velmi velmi maly pokoj, postel po točitých schodech nahoru a postel v malem prostoru s nízkým stropem. Velmi nekomfortni pro vyssi lidi.

The bed was on a higher level which is accessible via a very narrow and circular staircase. Not practical especially if you use the toilet during the night.

Like other comments I have seen on here our AC also did not work. I informed reception at 10:30pm on our first night after dinner, reception guy came to check, he also confirmed it was not working properly. He said we couldn’t get into another room that night but could change tomorrow. After a terrible sleep the next day we fully packed up took our belongings down to reception (via stairs) asked the new receptionist for a new room who then told me that the aircon was working and that the maintenance guy fixed it yesterday. I told her that the receptionist at 10:30pm last night checked and she said she will DOUBLE CHECK. Receptionist then found another room for us (five doors down from our other room). So we once again had to carry our luggage back up after 5 minutes of talking at reception when she was almost trying to refuse giving us another room. Lots of chipped paint and walls throughout the hotel. toilet seat was also broken in our first room. Hallways to the room on the first level were very stuffy and when cleaning lady’s had their trolleys in the hallway it was very hard to get past with suitcases. I also don’t know how they cleaned the first floor the hallway seemed very hot to work in. I don’t believe this place is worth the price or four star. I’ve stayed in a few Mercures and this one has left me disappointed in their customer service and reliability.

Персонал на ресепшен был не очень приветлив, дали самый маленький номер с высотой потолка 2 метра, хотя у нас был забронирован двухуровневый. Но потом нам все же поменяли номер. В душевой нет дверцы, вся вода лилась через дверь на ковер.

Direkt an der Promenade und an der Shoppingstrasse mit vielen!Bars und Restaurants. Fenster gut Schallisoliert unr Jalousie vorhanden. Zimmer renoviert und das Hotel ebenfalls.

Classic Zimmer sehr klein, kein Kühlschrank und zur lauten Gasse und Bäckerei mir entsprechendem Duft gelegen. Kein Fahrstuhl im Gebäude für die oberen Etagen. Eingang leider auch nur über viele Treppen erreichbar. Es gibt keine Hilfe beim Koffer die Treppen hochtragen, da muss man schon aktiv nachfragen. Muffiger Gulligeruch im Zimmer.

Pokoje były zbyt małe i trochę ciemne wykładzina brązowa co dodatkowo robiło ponury nastrój pokoje nasze były położone z boku budynku przy małej uliczce gdzie na dole była restauracja i trwał remont było głośno i od rana budził nas zapach z restauracji.

The location was nice . The room are so small that you can’t even open your closet . My suitcase was actually out of the room we had no choice . They call it 4 stars there is no elevator in the hotel and no lobby . This hotel is actually a 2 stars .

I ve been travelling every month and believe me this is the worst picture reality contrast hotel I ve experienced . The hotel was terrible they ve charged 500euros per night had the worst room I wasn’t able to stay there had to book something else and they didn t want to refund me . I ve checkout right after couldn’t t sleep here. They robbed me 500euros .

Good location — right on the promenade

The hotel does not have an elevator and our room was on the 2nd floor, which meant hauling our suitcases up a large wide staircase to the 1st floor and then up a very narrow spiral stairway to our room. Our room intermittently smelled like rotten eggs The hair dryer overheated after about one minute The bedsheets weren’t tucked in and were a wrinkled mess The view from the window was an ugly, dirty courtyard

Een perfecte locatie direct aan de boulevard en het oude Nice. Leuke uitstapjes gedaan, met de trein naar Antibes en Cannes. S'avonds een gezellige levendige sfeer. Veel restaurantjes waar je heerlijk kunt eten en natuurlijk van de Franse wijnen kan genieten.

Das Frühstück ist sehr ausgediegen, frischer Orangensaft, feines Brot, Müesli. Very nice breakfast, fresh orange juice, different bread. Die Fenster sind schallisoliert, sehr ruhig im Innenhof. The room is quiet, no noise ! Die direkte Strandlage ist absolut toll !! Great location directly on the beach. Trinkwasser zur Verfügung. Drinking water free. WLAN okay !!

Broken extractor fan in bathroom, pieces of plastic & duster sitting on a shelf. Still not repaired 24 hrs later despite having reported this on arrival. Room was dusty, light switch did not work. Overbearing ‘air scent’ - far too strong. Hotel in process of being decorated - no notification or apology from staff on arrival.

We had a suite which was slightly off- site, which could sound a bit scary, but so exceeded our expectations. So much space, great location, clean and comfortable.

This was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the very moment of check-in, my stay was ruined by the front desk clerk. I had booked and fully paid for a Deluxe Room with sea view, but upon arrival I was told that my room had been sold to someone else due to a “system issue.” What was even more shocking was the attitude — I was told, “I don’t care about your reservation.” I have traveled to more than 50 countries, and I have never experienced anything like this. Without even asking for my consent, they tried to relocate me to another hotel. The only reason I chose this hotel was specifically for its sea view rooms on the Promenade. When I requested a refund to find another hotel myself, I was told they could not process it because the booking was made via Booking.com. No solution, no responsibility — just excuses and rude behavior. I asked to speak with a manager and was told they were not available, with no clear answer on when they would be. At that point, I had to insist strongly, even mentioning that I would involve the police, as my money had already been charged and no proper service was being provided. Because of this situation, I lost valuable time and even missed my planned trip to Monaco. After more than an hour of stress and waiting, the same staff member suddenly “found” a room for me — which made the whole situation feel even more dishonest, as it seemed they simply decided to move another guest instead. The problems didn’t end there. To reach the room, I had to walk through what felt like a maze, with no proper signage, no elevator access due to renovations, and ongoing works on the stairs. I lost another hour just trying to find my room. The only positive thing was the room itself and the sea view — which was truly beautiful. But unfortunately, it does not compensate for such unacceptable treatment. I paid around €300 for a single room without breakfast I will never return to this hotel. Avoid this place !!!

And the most shocking part was their attitude toward guest feedback. After I mentioned that I would leave a review, the front desk clerk made it very clear — in a rude manner — that she simply didn’t care what I would write. This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional, it shows complete disrespect toward guests and the hotel’s own reputation. I strongly recommend that the hotel management carefully review this situation and the behavior of their staff. From what I observed, I was not the only guest facing issues.

Great location, very friendly staff. Was offered a duplex room at no extra cost which was a nice touch.

Walls are paper thin, and my neighbours liked to party... Bathroom had a weird smell but I'm used to that in France to be honest, just be prepared!

Les salles de bains sont neuves, mais dans la chambre 204 le siphon de la douche ne fonctionnait pas et de très mauvaises odeurs remontaient, m’obligeant à y aller en apnée pour utiliser la salle de bain. Heureusement, le personnel a réagi rapidement : on m’a proposé un changement de chambre et j’ai même été surclassé afin d’avoir une salle de bain sans odeur. La nouvelle chambre ne présentait aucun problème. Je remercie donc le personnel pour sa réactivité. Néanmoins, il serait souhaitable que les vérifications techniques nécessaires soient faites avant l’arrivée des clients. Le classement des chambres selon leur prix devrait également exclure définitivement ce type de désagrément.

La chambre en rdc surélevé a plus une vie route que mer! La wifi ne fonctionnait pas, certains équipements étaient cassés ( miroir grossissant sdb) Pas au niveau d’un 4 etoiles
