The hotel itself was nice enough however the experience of booking through Hilton even as a gold member leaves a lot to be desired. Hilton advertises that they will price match online websites that offer a better price.....they won't. And not only that they're completely rude and take pride in the fact they won't help you or give you consistent information (this is hilton corporate at least and not the hotel directly) One of my issues with the particular hotel is regarding one of the perks of gold status is the complimentary late check out. I understand its based on availability but by the hotel I was told yes it is available however if you want it you have to pay for it. Again the hotel is nice enough but just don't expect any customer service from hilton. So ultimately if I had to do it over again I'm probably going to move away using rewards with hilton. There's plenty of other major chains that might value my business more

They entire staff is great. From the check-in, to the room attendant, to the pool bar/dining area. Nice people all around. Good ocean views. Great sunrises. We would stay here again.

We had a terrible experience here. This was our 5th hotel on this two week trip- and it was by far the worst. First, we had to move rooms at 11:30pm because the AC was clunking like a drum. When we asked to move the response was “oh, we have gotten a lot of complaints about that room.” 809. What?? No refund or discount offered. You have to use a towel card to get two beach towels, so no impromptu beach adventures. The toilet plugged multiple times. Construction and jackhammers began at 9 am outside our room. The room was stocked with 3 towels, which is annoying for a family of 4. The lobby bathroom was being closed at peak times. The staff at the counter could not tell me where the stairs in the building were. With that being said, the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We do not recommend this hotel.

I booked my reservation via Trivago. Upon my arrival, I learned from the Front Desk Clerk that Hilton had cancelled my reservation the day prior because it was marked as possibly fraudulent even though there was full payment in advance. Hilton did not notify me when they cancelled my reservation and they said they had no rooms available when I showed up to check in. I don't know the true reason for cancelling my reservation but to do so without notifying me is the reason for terrible rating.

Front desk staff member was rude in a very nice nasty type of way. I booked a room with a view but only got a view of the roof. I was then told that they were all booked when I asked to switch rooms, then the excuse switched to I didn’t book a room with a view. The nice nasty front desk lady also said I would not be refunded if I didn’t accept the room. I would never go back.

The beach had sand fleas when we went

We had a great time! Location was perfect, right on the beach with a beautiful pool (and outside bar!). Restaurant onsite and others nearby. The staff went above and beyond, between the power outage (not the hotel's fault) and helping me retrieve my personal belongings that I forgot in the room after checkout. Lifesavers! Edwin, Sabino, Alex, Chelsea, Doreen, and Nichole - thank you all for a memorable trip for my husband and me. 💛 We'll definitely be back!

Location was the selling point, but with other hotels nearby, service matters.

Our room keys didn’t work. After walking down twice to get them reset, a worker called maintenance to get a new battery. After waiting with no response, the worker opened our door with a master key to let us in. We had to wait for the battery and your keys before we could even begin a day outside of the room. We did not realize that there was going to be construction done on Monday morning from 9 -5 am. The construction was loud and annoying and bothered my autistic son. There was definitely something wrong with the AC because it got unbearably hot in the evening. Dinner was served an atrium, because the dining room was closed on Sunday. I’m not sure if that is in writing anywhere, but I was not aware of it before I chose to eat there on Father’s Day. Everyone was crowded in a small area. Some people dressed up while others sat around in bathing suits. One woman even had a dog in the dining area. The food was decent in the waitress was very accommodating, however, I would never have selected that restaurant for a special holiday dinner. We had to move our car once during our stay. We ended up having to park her car on the side of the building, near the side entrance. Unfortunately, the next day, after checking out, we noticed our gas tank was open in our car had been damaged. Because we parked near the walkway coming into the building, we assume that someone scraped their luggage all along the car and inadvertently opened the gas tank. Overall, the location was good, but the pool was small and service was not what I expect from the Hilton name. I am willing to spend money for quality and service and was not satisfied. I would not choose to stay at this location again.

Al llegar fui tratado de una manera anti professional, no me dieron la habitación que reserve, me enviaron a una habitación distinta porque estaban sold out, la agente Lauren me alzo la voz, estaba como Estresada, me faltaron el respeto. Me senti ofendido hasta discriminado, estuve a punto de cancelar todo e irme a mi casa. El GM Carlos al dia siguiente se disculpo, me cambio de cuarto y me ofrecio una noche gratis en mi estadia para woe no me fuera . Al final del checkout no me hicieron ningun crédito de esa noche gratis . Me cobraron de mas, inclusive el parking. No Vuelvo a este hotel jamás. Aún espero el credito o descuento ofrecido y nada que llega.

The Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront will always hold a special place in our hearts. We met here, got engaged here, honeymooned here, and have celebrated many anniversaries here over the years. This visit was especially meaningful as we celebrated our 11th anniversary. Every time we return, it feels like coming home. The beautiful beachfront location, relaxing atmosphere, and wonderful staff keep us coming back year after year. Thank you for being part of so many of our favorite memories. We can’t wait to return again! ❤️

No ponen ni agua en la habitación, increíble tuve que ir a Walmart y comprar agua. Baños que no descargan bien. No había hielo en la máquina del piso Para el precio esperaba algo mejor.

Ice machine down. House keeping not satisfactory, the morning shift just standing around with cart not doing anything but on the cellphone to where hours later the afternoon shift actually cleaned the room. Electricity down 2hrs prior to checkout, so we had to leave room n check out 1.5hr before the actual checkout time.

We have been here a few times and we really enjoyed coming back. They have been updating this hotel and this time it was nice! The front desk people were so friendly and helpful. We will always recommend this hotel! We will come back to visit!

La atencion fue muy regular, reservé una habitacion Ocean View con cama King. Cuando nos asignaron la habitacion, oh sorpresa, la cama era Queen y la vista daba al parqueadero. Al regresar a la recepcion, nos dijeron que no tenian mas disponibilidad de habitaciones y que el Ocean View que ofrecen es abrir la ventana, estirar el cuello y allí puedes ver un poquito del océano. Da hasta risa. Fue tanto el desconcierto, que con mi esposo decidimos cancelar la estancia y regresar a casa

Didn’t have a phone in the room and the hotel didn’t offer another. Also the toilet stopped flushing. Fixed it myself since the staff didn’t seem helpful. Reported both issues and was not offered any type of way to make it right.

Decent and mostly clean.

Pool filled with rich drunk people who took over the pool area and left empty cans by chairs so nobody could use them. Inappropriate adults in the pool kissing and possibly more around families and young kids.

Parking costs extra, , bed was not comfortable, AC did not keep up with our setting and blankets are too heavy.

We've stayed here multiple times, and I've left at least one review. So I don't want to repeat it, but I will second all the positives made by recent reviewers. We have come often because we have family in the area. Because the family dynamics are challenging and even tragic, I'm very grateful that this hotel has been such a soothing retreat for us over the years. Each time we arrive, I have that "home away from home" feeling. I honestly can't say that about any other hotel.

Nice room, beautiful ocean view, good bed, linens, pillows, and cleaning staff you had to rent beach chairs on umbrellas and breakfast was expensive but overall it was a wonderful stay !

That it wasn't long enough

The location is very good, the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, cleaning and changing of bed linen every day. And the ocean is right in the yard, very cool.

The only thing we didn't like was that we booked for a few days, we should have booked more.

The room

The location of the property is very convenient as there are restaurants, ice cream stores, supermarkets and pharmacies close by. The property is also on the beach and has a small but very nice heated pool area and bar. The hotel also has breakfast, lunch and dinner options making it very easy to relax and enjoy the views from your room. In the evening, it was cold but the fire pits made the evening enjoyable.

We had an accessible king room that was very comfortable. However, the bathroom had an extremely small sink and vanity and the shower had slippery tile floor. Weak Water pressure and the position of the shower head, soap dispensers also made showering difficult for me as I have mobility issues.

The STAFF. They were very accommodating. The cleanest of the south tower.

That you had to pay for a chair. We weren’t told that before. When we asked to stay for 2 more nights, they told us yes but we would have to move to the other side. We said no problem. When we got to the room, there was a balcony but you could only stand on it. We didn’t mind changing but we should have been told it didn’t have a balcony. I would never had taken that room. I spent more for that room then I did for the room in the south tower. I had a better balcony and could see the ocean fine. It’s not like it was crowded. There were many empty rooms

View was fantastic. Beach was great. Room was fine but I’m not sure why they took the plugs out over the desk. We could have used those.

Extra parking charge.

This was our third visit & it wont be the last! Truly an amazing place at the beach. We stayed 4 nights and wished it could’ve been longer. The beach is literally steps from the pool which is just steps from the rooms. The rooms are updated & comfortable. Book ocean VIEW if you want a balcony to enjoy with coffee or adult beverage. The Tiki Bar is also convenient with nice staff. We especially enjoyed chatting with the breakfast servers each morning. (We are huge Hilton fans - Diamond/ Gold honors members) There was a conference being held (now we want a conference there! Haha)while we were there but the place is big enough that it was never a factor. We had one little issue that gracious manager Nicole made right. Thanks for another great stay. We can’t wait to return!

Pleasant stay. Warm welcome. Friendly staff. Room was clean comfortable and quiet with nice view of the ocean. Food and drinks were good. The property is very well cared for but may benefit from an update. We would stay there again when in the area.

We are heading back for another stay and looking forward to another wonderful experience. Walking in and being greeted by Nichole, Koreen. Krista, Erin, Leah and Sebino is like coming home. Everyone is so welcoming. We're always treated well in the dining room at breakfast by Melissa, Tim, Chris, Anthony and Chef Franco always knows how to make our eggs just right. For the dinner hour we also get excellent service from Tanya, Robison and Erick. Whenever we have an issue in our room Doug and Orlando are there in a jiffy and make all necessary repairs. Last year our housekeeper, Josie was efficient and so sweet. We can't say enough positive things about the staff and management. Thank you. ,

Man erfüllt hier als Gast genau einen Zweck: Man hat zu zahlen. Das Einzige, was der Zimmerpreis beinhaltet, ist das Zimmer und die Möglichkeit, Strandhandtücher zu leihen und den Pool zu benutzen. Zumindest, wenn man es schafft, eine Liege zu ergattern, die im Winter Sonne abbekommt. Ansonsten ist hier nichts nett, schön oder Gastfreundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet muss bezahlt werden und beinhaltet eben nur das sehr durchschnittliche Buffet. Am ersten Tag gibt es 2 kleine Wasserflaschen aufs Zimmer, die aber nicht aufgefüllt werden. Die Zimmer wurden irgendwann frisch gestrichen, aber nicht tiefgründig renoviert. Das Bad hat das Flair eines Straßenrand-Motels aus den 80ern, die Klimaanlage ist oldschool, also sehr laut. Parken kostet 18 USD pro Nacht. Kaffee am Morgen gibt es genauso wenig wie einen Trinkwasser-Spender. Noch nicht mal eine Seifenschale im Bad ist vorhanden. Das Personal ist höflich, aber in keiner Weise hilfsbereit. Immerhin war es sauber. Insgesamt ist das Hotel für seinen Preis sehr unterdurchschnittlich.

The only issue is the advertised balcony isn't one you can sit on, it's just a very narrow balcony with no room for a chair.

I put my daughter and her husband up in this hotel for four nights from January 1st. The whole time they were there despite not being at the hotel much during the day, their room was only cleaned once. You have to wonder what excuse was made...I think Covid would be a little lame at this point. Next visit I will put them up at the Crowne Plaza just down the road, as this was not acceptable!! They were at the Crowne last summer and it was a much better experience.

Phenomenal hotel! Wonderful staff! Super laid-back vibe at this hotel. The staff won't chase you around and harass you. The beach is clean and beautiful, the pool is warm, the hot tub is fiery with strong jets to ease your back strain from driving. The gym is fantastic with both free weights and elliptical machines, etc. The rooms are nice and large with great views. Nice little outdoor bar with food and drinks. I had a blast and you will too (but only if you book here)...
