It felt a bit run down

The room was very clean. The housekeeping staff were friendly and very happy when they were in the hallways. Gina in the breakfast room makes the entire experience of this particular Hampton Inn. She is super friendly and goes out of her way to make guests have the best experience. Her grandson is working with her now and they make an amazing team. He is such a hard worker....you never once seen him stop! The pool and hot tub area were nice and clean but there are never any clean towels stocked. The store in the lobby is a nice addition. The front desk staff isnt always the friendliest or most honest people but there are a couple that have been there for a very long time that make the desk experience a great one.

The beds were not very comfortable. They sunk in towards the middle and really hurt the back. For the price you pay to spend a night, you would expect better comfort. The only other bad thing was that a homeless person came in through the exit door at the back of the pool room and used the hot tub with my family. She proceeded to take a bunch of selfies and when my daughter jumped out to go to the desk, the girl jumped out and grabbed her clothes and ran out the back door again. The desk girl told my daughter that she checked the cameras but didn't see anything. My husband and I spoke to the same girl later and we told her there were 2 men that were with that girl and they were outside the front window watching our daughter swimming for 2 hours and that they had waved at both myself and our daughter. She then changed it to oh that shouldn't have happened and then said she checked and the girl was a guest. The next day I saw the girl get arrested at the intersection to go towards the highway as she was soliciting cars. It really appeared that the girl working knew them and let them in.

The only negative experience was that our room which we very much liked (and was not inexpensive) was not serviced daily. We had to ask for fresh towels, coffee..

Geräumige, moderne umd saubere Zimmer; Schwimmbad mit Rutsche und Whirlpool (nutzbar bis Miiernacht!); zum Frühstück gab es frische Waffeln.

Beim Frühstück werden Pappbecher, Plastikteller usw. verwendet sodass leider viel Müll produziert wird.

Absolut ausreichend für eine Zwischenübernachtung auf der Durchreise

Very spacious, clean and quiet room. Evidently this hotel is used as an overnight stop for travellers on the Rocky Mountaineer, so it's of reasonable standards. Easy to park, quiet - those were the main things we needed - but the beds were also comfy and we got a good nights sleep.

Check-in a little chaotic (they didn't notice we had booked two rooms and gave us a key for only one), however everything else about the room was good and comfortable. Two downsides to mention - the 'breakfast included' was the most basic breakfast I've ever had in a hotel - cereal, fruit and yoghurt plus some pastries served on paper plates and eaten with plastic cutlery. Really could not believe my eyes when I saw the paper plates/bowls. Less washing up, I suppose. And secondly, my daughters loved using the little pool, however the chlorine turned my elder daughter's (highlighted) hair bright green - she's actually a swimming teacher in the UK so spends a lot of time in swimming pools and this has never happened before - goodness knows what was in that pool! Overall a reasonably stay as a one-night stop over travelling between Vancouver and Banff.

Breakfast was just average. Didn't have as much of a selection as I hoped. Make your own waffle station was good, but had no toppings toppings.

Le petit déjeuner n’était pas très bon. Il manquait de chocolat chaud pour les enfants. Il n’y a pas beaucoup de fruits et les ingrédients ne sont pas de bonnes qualités.

Unser Zimmer war sehr groß. Auch das Badezimmer bot viel Platz. Ausreichende kostenlose Parkplätze und sehr nettes Personal bei einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Frühstück an sich ist sehr gut. Für uns persönlich passte das Plastikbesteck nicht zum restlichen hochwertigen Stil des Hotels, das ist aber eine Kleinigkeit.

We came for the pool which was cloudy, Dingy and pool deck dirty. They said it was fine the water was cloudy but it was un appealing to us.

Comfortable clean rooms. Satisfactory breakfast. Fun pool with slide for the kids. One night stay here while travelling across the mountains for a nice rest.

Ease of check in. The text messaging to check in with us. Breakfast was great and although about 10 families came down at 9:15am, they still made sure the eggs, potatoes and sausage patties were stocked up along with everything else. Viola at reception went above and beyond the night we arrived. Truly exceptional client service all around.

The family above us had younger children and you could hear them running around the room well after midnight. Heard no other noises though.

Staff cancelled a booking and were rude and dismissive regarding the impact of their actions. If you have a choice stay somewhere else.

Continental real fast said 6-10am. Arrived at 9:00 and many items were gone and not being replaced. If we’d have known it was first come first served we’d have arrived earlier. Kitchen staff was quite rude.

The waterslide is great and once you are checked in the staff is very helpful and kind.

Check-in, we were waiting patiently at the counter with a small child and the staff member prioritized an older gentleman cutting the line to buy something over our check in. I found that to be quite rude especially because we had a child with us and just drove 9 hours to arrive. The water in the shower was also really cold in the morning and we were up at 5:00am.

The restaurant was so friendly -and when we checked in we were greeted in true Canadian style... A smile and great conversation!

Bathrooms could be updated Dog bowls and welcome treats would be helpful. Little extras can go a long way to continue to make this a cozy experience.

The bed was nice.

Even though i was there around three pm, i was given a room without a view. No clock radio or writing pad with pens. The girl at the front desk wasn't that pleasant, same with the breakfast person, she was rude, not a people person. Please find friendlier staff. Thanks for listening, as i am a very chilled person and to have me upset isn't good.

This is a hotel in an area of Kamloops with many other properties, close to a large mall and the Trans Canada Highway. The hotel itself is a typical Hampton Inn property. Good and clean public areas, good parking, and good service. Rooms are well appointed and with all the amenities you expect. Large space and good bathroom. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are good. My only issue is an extremely noisy AC unit. Every time it turns on feels like a car ir running. The included breakfast is quite good. My two other concerns are the lack of a restaurant, solved with a bar and grill and a Tim Hortons one block away. They also offer a small pantry to buy snacks and beverages; and one (!!!!) slow elevator for the whole building. I ended up walking up and down the stairs (4 floors) every time as the hotel was full and it took forever to get to the elevator. Overall good experience at a quite steep price.

The staff who helped me to check in was not friendly and didn’t smile at all.

The location is close to shops and restaurants which is great.

Conditioner is not enough for 4 people on a 2 nights stay.. On our second day, there is no more conditioner. The container wasn't full. Only had a quarter ipin check in.

I stayed here while driving across Canada. This hotel was nice and quiet. I had a few minor issues but Tracy was very polite and helpful. I felt like I was always acknowledged and didn’t feel like a bother. The rooms themselves are quiet and spacious. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area
