Easy to find and convenient for onward travel Our room was perfect
Bed
A bit dated
客房大且舒适
酒店整体感觉老旧
Breakfast was good and just enough.
One more pillow in the room.
Es war okay
Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich
Obschon direkt beim Spital und an einer Hauptstrasse gelegen, war es in der Nacht ruhig. Möglichkeit Frühstück zu bekommen. Ausgesprochen nettes Personal.
Quiet room, Bag brekfast sucks
Pool area & deck was filthy
De ligging was perfect. Ontbijt was een meeneem ontbijt maar echt super. Complimenten hiervoor.
Beetje gedateerd, zwembad etc moet je niet willen komen, oude meuk.
The lady at the front desk was very rude, she had a very bad attitude. This place was no fun.
The stay was good enough
Bathtub was slippery upon entry, shower pull up spigot did not function well as water sprayed through bottom. People smoking below us made smoke come into our unit, no decaf coffee , no creamers, or tea offered in unit.
Great place for quick night stay.
My AC wasn't that great. It didnt get cooler than one setting.
Friendly and helpful staff Close to town centre Free parking Good breakfast bags to go ( great lunch bags)
No lift, only stairs.
The room was spacious, including a large bathroom. The price was great for the time of travel (summer). The room had some recent updates. I was happy they had extra parking as we were pulling a boat.
The grab and go breakfast was ok, but we ended up eating at Denny's down the road. The beds weren't very comfortable.
The staff was kind and friendly.
Old property, with loud AC units in addition to the helipad next door. The pool was okay but the change room and all other facilities are in a bad shape. We hoped for a normal breakfast but got a snack bag instead.
Very pleasant, as expected
Everything was great
The room was updated, quiet and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was a short walk to downtown, there was lots of hot water for a bath, and it was a bonus to get a bagged breakfast; overall good value for the cost.
The air conditioner did a loud shut off sound; the back of the bath tub had an uncomfortable slant, and while the floor had been vacuumed/swept it could have also used a good wash.
Simple and clean
Way Breakfast provided
The room was decent and clean. The staff was nice and helpful.
Travel Lodge sent me a text and a link to pre-check in and require all my information including a copy of my drivers license, vehicle info etc. When I arrived I had to provide it all over again. I asked what we the point of Travel Lodge asking me to complete all of that online only to have to do it in person and she told me that the info I provided is not visible to her. Silly.
Nothing. This is a horribly dated hotel and a very loud location
I didn't like that. There were two travelodges by Wyndham in Kamloops and they're not clearly named so that you know which one you're getting. I had to go to the wrong one first which is the one I thought I bucked. Hey park my RV and then find out that I was at the wrong one. The one I was at is terrible. That is the downtown location across from the hospital. May I suggest that you get two separate names for them?
Booked because of pool, breakfast included and location. The only good...location. Pool was disgusting, could see brown ring around entire pool that was at least 6 inches wide, floor was visibly dirtyy, moldy and the whole area poorly maintained. Not to mention no towels, so you have to use towels from your room for your shower.. Very disappointed the be told you get a bagged breakfast, stale muffin, yogurt, banana and a kids juice box. I didn't choose other hotels because on' continental ' breakfast option, paid more to stay here because I was under impression of better breakfast options.. and get severed garbage. Expressed this at check in, as I WOULDN'T have booked my stay there, and all I got was a shoulder shrug. Housekeeping.. room was actually ok, didn't mind it. But could you make a bed? Could you sweep? Could you leave shampoo or conditioner, replenish coffee/tea and the cups? We were there 4 nights and got bed made once after asking to have sheets chnaged because daughter made a mess, as it wasn't done day before.. didnt make second bed in the room... went to pick up daughters sock day 3, to discover it wasn't even one of ours... there wasn't many hiding places in the room to have a sock under the table?? So did you even clean the room between occupancy? Didn't clean bathtub, sweep or wash floors. But you did come in to my room everyday... to do what not really sure. Overall very disappointing and rather disgusting place to stay.
Good place for a night while traveling
Way too much info needed. Questionnaires and then online. Too much up in my business.
Improve breakfast
Simple and clean
Coin operated laundry
Dirty. Filled with long term renters that smoke in their rooms
Hot tub is broken. Failed to advertise
Easy check-in, plenty of toiletries, large room
Room smelt of smoke even though we asked for no smoking room.
Close to everything, clean updated bathroom, clean blankets, comfortable bed.
Didn’t like the lady unpleasant attitude when paying for hotel.
The location was good but the traffic noise was a bit much.
Grosse Zimmer und sehr sauber…. Gute Lage
Es gibt für diese Preis Leistung nichts zu bemängeln
Localización
Ruido
The location--we were in Kamloops to attend a concert at the Kelson Hall, a few short blocks away. Our room was spacious and clean. Even though this hotel is on a main road, it was quiet when windows were closed.
I didn't appreciate the texts and emails from Wyndham asking me to check in on line, was there anything else I needed, and when was I going to check out? Turns out, even though I did check in online, including scanning my ID, this data was not passed along to the front desk staff in Kamloops.
The location was fine. The parking lot awkward to get into, might want to have a look at that
The pre-survey check in that I was emailed multiple times and filled out was not used at this location, meaning a double check in with a staff member who was frustrated at the process. Listen, you pay some money, you get a room, we now how it works. It was a fine room, had more or less what you needed, not enough pillows, not the greatest bed, but like nothing egregious. But for $185 a night, terrible value.
Location: Excellent location across the street from Ponderosa Lodge, which is perfect for my needs.
The breakfast is brown bag-- no hot options available, nor coffee beyond what is in the room's mini coffee maker. Maybe would be better if they offered a small Keurig in the room and a couple of K cups per person.
Location and price
The wifi let me down. Couldn't video conference (which I was counting on) or stream video. I also thought the green bananas in the bag breakfast was a amateurish. It would have been better to not include them at all, in fact.
When i first got there the staff member was pleasent... we checked in later around 5 ish... room was clean no coffee pot tho but was offered to get some from office if we wanted..
First night was fine.. i had asked to extend my stay for anothee 2 nights and was told i could.... next morning half hour before regular check out i get a knock on the door saying its booked and we have to leave.... first staff member i dealt with was nice .. the one who came to my door came off very rude and didnt seem to wanna listen to me at all.. wont recommend staying here... my son was very excited to go swimming in their pool but we never got the chance.. good location for hospital and if staff had given more warning of a possible over booking or were more friendly it would be different.. wont be back...
The price
Dirty floors, visible crumbs hair balls etc
Good
The best part was the super quiet and clean room!! Excellent bed which made for a very good sleep. The location is so nice for walking, buses, or restaurants. Wonderful staff!! 10 out of 10 all of them!
Great location, nicely kept up compared to others close to the hospital. Great value for your money. Excellent customer service. Free parking & breakfast to go allowed for flexibility. If you are needing to be close to the hospital don’t hesitate to stay here. Ask for the hospital discount by booking directly with the hotel front desk.
It's close to the hospital which is why we were in Kamloops.
They gave us the wrong room key and we walked into someone's room while they were occupying it. Very uncomfortable and the staff refused to work with us afterwards to meditate the issue.
Great staff, handy that they have a laundry facility and allow pets. Close walking distance to the hospital for appointments. Will stay again.
Everything was really good. The staff was Excellent
very comfortable mattresses!
The breakfast was in a bag. I was not impressed by that because the other Travel Lodge by Wyndham in Airdrie Alberta, was incredible. So I had a higher expectation; they had a full-on buffet breakfast style that would cook your pancakes right on the spot. I just feel let down because this place was not like the other. My room smelled of cigarette smoke. tiles were broken. and the wind draft from the window would lift the ceiling tiles in the bathroom, which made me think someone was trying to get in. The shops were great and convenient. There's a restaurant called REBO'S Argentine Cuisine. You must go to that restaurant.
Good service
Clean, comfortable room.
Carpet was old
Bag breakfast was a surprise but ok. The location was great.
The light outside our room wasn't working. Tv had a parental lock so it took quite a while for someone to unlock it.
Good place to stay for an overnight stopover. It seems most of their clientele are government and hospital workers.
Very noisy upstairs neighbours and room was not cleaned during our stay
Older property but clean and comfortable. Good for one night stay. Restaurant options limited to Denny’s for breakfast.
My dad called the hotel and booked his first stay in his way to Vancouver island . Called same number ,to book another stay on his was back from the island , same front desk person who he had spoken to in person answered the phone and he booked his next stay . Went to cancel it as he was going to be staying in another town on his way home , and was told WE booked it through a secondary site that we’ve never even heard of so they couldn’t help and wouldn’t help . Travis the manager is the rudest person and horrible at his job. Refused to help and informed my mom it was her problem and hung up . Now we’re being told it’s been booked through yet another 3rd party when we called corporate and all the numbers lead to nowhere . So we’ve been fully charged a week before the stay was to even happen , and told we did book online through Agoda? Or some third party site which we did NOT . My dad doesn’t know how to even begin to do that . My senior parents feel completely scammed by Travelodge on Columbia st in kamloops BC. No one will help and again Travis is useless and rude . The owner should really check into how his hotel is being run and the scams they have going on. Again we DID NOT book online or an 800 number . Spoke directly to the front desk and my dad even had a conversation with the same front desk person about how the price had gone up 20 dollars in a week since his last stay . We will not ever stay in a travelodge establishment again for this reason .
It’s alright.
It was a nice room with plenty of space.
Property is good. Very clean. Not high end obvi but very good for the price. Area seems a lil sketchy but overall good.
Great room at a great price. Will stay here again.
Truthfully, better than expected! In town for a super busy sporting event. Staff was friendly and prompt with any requests. Efforts are being made to update the property. Fresh paint, new flooring and updated tub surround in the room helped it feel tidy. Pool area is a separate building, handy for a noisy crowd. Shower water pressure was one step down from a fire hose- no sad trickle there! Location was quieter than expected as well, and also had food options within a few blocks. Cons; room door had gaps that allowed daylight, no additional deadbolt made it feel a little less secure than one might love. Some fixtures were ill fitting and worn. Fridge temperature knob was broken off and apparently set to -100000 degrees. RIP bag of mini cucumbers. Breakfast offering is a grab and go bag. Nothing special but this probably isn't where you're looking to be, if Special is the goal. For a couple of nights of basic shower and a bed, it was just fine.
Good location
Very walkable to lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes. Close to the river and lots happening there and great walking paths and views.
