The air was not working I was sweating in room getting ready it was awful never really cooled down front drsk stated it would as sun went down but it did not

The pool was nice and the extra security with the locking of doors in the evening.

Pillows were too soft. Hot breakfast options were limited. Parking fee of $10 per day was not clearly explained...thought it was $10 for the entire stay not per day. The pool temperature was freezing...made it rough for the littles we were traveling with to enjoy it fully.

Could have more variety. Muffins were fresh and good.

Could have more things,like bacon or sausage. Needed hash browns or homefries. Variety of muffins. Eggs were cold.

The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The location of the hotel was perfect wjile attending the ball game. Room was spacious and clean and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely staff there next time.

Room smelled of Marijuana. Maintenance man brought up a ozone order machine which made it smell worse. He walked in didn't knock on door. He didn't understand English. I have allergies to different smells and smoke so didn't really enjoy that. Couldn't switch rooms because facility was booked solid.

Ich hatte hier für 2 Nächte 1 Zimmer gebucht, musste aber auf 1 Nacht umbuchen. Normalerweise hätte ich dafür Stornogebühren zahlen müssen. Aber die nette Bedienung am Empfang ist uns entgegen gekommen und wir konnten die Buchung kostenfrei ändern. Dies wissen wir sehr zu schätzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Lage des Hotels ist klasse. Von dort aus kann man alles zu Fuß erkunden. Es war alles sehr sauber.

My daughter and I were passing though on our way to take her back to college. When we got in Miss Tanisha was so friendly and accommodating. She welcomed us as if it was her own home. I can’t day enough good things about her. At checkout Miss Heather was also so pleasant and friendly. Thanking us for our stay and wishing us safe travels. We will definitely be back when passing through. The property and rooms were clean and comfortable. Definitely meets and exceeds our expectations.

The hott free breakfast every morning was delicious. The staff was amazingly helpful and gave us alot of information about the area. The whole atmosphere was clean and gave us a very safe feeling while staying.

Only down side was the pool was busy the while time, so we didn't get to enjoy it very long. We would have like a hott tub or something for the adults could enjoy, while the kids play in the pool.

The hotel was nice clean and friendly, but the location was amazing. Walking distance to so many restaurants, outdoor venues and a beautiful night time sky line. It was the cherry on top to a weekend getaway.

My only thing was out of the hotels control. We could hear kids laughing late into the night through the walls.

We booked two rooms with 3 people per room, we were informed upon arrival that there were no rooms available for 3 people even though we paid for them.

Wifi was slow and I was unable to connect to the tv with my phone-probably user error. Breakfast for me was not good other guests seemed to love it. It would be nice to have local stores and places to eat information in the lobby.Our second day we walked the Kentucky side and found kroger and local fair priced good food.

It was great that we could use the pedestrian bridge to walk to the Reds game!

The hotel was very clean and well kept. It was just a 2 minute walk from the River dock and 5 minute walk to the Newport Levee. Also, the staff was very accommodating!

Didn’t like the surprise of a 10 fee to park. Also I didn’t like the fact that they held a 150 deposit for my room for damages if they found any. I’ve never had to pay that much before, frankly I think it is ridiculous to charge that much.

I absolutely love my stay here! As a solo traveler I felt VERY safe at this hotel. The staff on shift each day was polite even in the times that others would see as stressful. This hotel is very family and pet friendly, I believe there is a dog park near by. So many things to do with family and places to eat within walking distance.

Location and view hard to beat. Just across the river from the Great American Ballpark where we were watching a game. The city at night is a pretty cool view. Lots or restaurants and services adjacent in Newport. Breakfast was great. Lady at the desk was kind enough to let us park in the lot before we checked in since it was an afternoon game. Can't imagine a better place to stay if you're in town for a game.

Pool was over chlorinated my kids eyes and skin were extremely irritated after swimming breakfast was terrible each day we went and each time everything was empty like eggs fruit milk sausage oatmeal all empty everyday

I loved the location to stores and the aquarium. Also loved the courtyard. So happy was able to bring our dog along as well!

One very slow elevator was working. Breakfast did leave a little to be desired.

Proximity (just a walk across the pedestrian bridge) to Great American Ballpark and (just across and down the street) to the Newport Aquarium. But the ballpark was #1

I think it’s ridiculous to charge $10 per day for parking. We were staying in a mini suite which accommodated 4 adults. We were in 2 cars for 2 nights stay so that’s $40 to park at a hotel we paid to stay at. Oh and that’s Hilton Honors too!

Elevator wasn’t available due to maintenance during part of our stay. Just inconvenient. And parking was not free.

Really nice hotel with good breakfast, clean rooms, comfy bedding, nice front desk staff and easy walk to restaurants.

Very clean, staff was wonderful!

The beds are extremely uncomfortable, the TV had problems immediately and you can't turn up the volume enough to hear it. Walls are very thin, can hear kids screaming in the hotel and outside car noise is terrible. Not a good night's sleep whatsoever. Not many good choices for a carnivore way of eating at breakfast.

The 3rd shift front desk employee was nasty to my daughters (adults) about being barefoot after leaving the pool area. They were dried off and not dripping water.

We had front row seats to watch the fireworks from our 6th floor room overlooking the river and Reds Stadium. The water pressure was great in the shower. Beds were very comfortable. Good breakfast for a hotel.

I asked for connecting rooms (my son had a medical condition). If we couldn't get connecting rooms, I asked for the rooms to be close. The hotel never read the request I made on Booking.com until I said I asked for the rooms to be together. My room was on the 6th floor and my son's room was on the 3rd floor. They said they were completely booked & wouldn't move us to the same floor. They charged us $10 to park. The staff didn't care that we didn't have rooms together. They made no attempt for accommodation. The police were outside my son's room with guns drawn going after some teens on the property across the street. Typical inner city activity. Would I recommend this hotel? No

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing regarding our recent stay on Mother’s Day weekend at the Hampton Inn & Suites and the extremely disappointing experience we had from check-in through our removal from the property. We had a reservation and were originally told we would be accommodated with an early check-in. (2-2:30 pm). Unfortunately, that did not happen. We were then informed by Ajatara that we would need to wait until 4:00 PM to confirm whether the room type we paid for would be available because the room that was ready at that time was NOT what we had reserved. However, no one ever contacted us as promised. When customer called back to front desk for updates, Ajatara stated with much attitude that she had been on her break, not having any other staff to follow up in her absence. When we called the front desk around 4:20 PM to follow up, the employee (Ajatara) whom we spoke with had an unprofessional and confrontational attitude. When a few minutes later upon arriving at the front desk in-person hoping to checked-in, even worse behavior continued towards us especially by staff “Sal” in particular and again, front desk clerk, Ajatara. At one point during the interaction, we were “threatened” with losing our reservation entirely (“Sal”)and being removed from the property with having no threatening comments or physical contact from us towards any of them. Eventually, after about 45 minutes or something with things having appeared to have calmed down and we believed the matter had been resolved because now having been given keys to our corrected room type, police officers were escorted to one of our party’s room by the front desk staff Ajatara and another person (Chamia) in whom this unknown individual we had previously never seen at all, nor ever encountered before, but now acting as spokesperson in the matter, rudely informing that we had to leave the hotel for having had “attitude”.

We was lied to about the view of room. Booking.com cost me alot of money for nothing. Drove 3hrs to not even stay.

Our family to visit the Ark Encounter and decided to stay an additional day and was able to book a room for the night last minute. The room was clean, staff was polite and friendly. The hotel was walking distance to food, entertainment and shopping. Directly across from stadium & Aquarium

Location was perfect for the race. We ran right past it at mile 1, so we were able to drop our warmer clothes needed before the start.
