Nice property up a small hill from the town centre with nice views over the town (at least in my bedroom) and a really nice lounge you can sit in too. Had a wee issue while staying (nothing to do with the property) and the landlady/landlord were very helpful.

Great location for the station and ferry. Amazing view from the single bedroom. Quiet, peaceful and comfortable. All I needed for a short stopover between ferry and train connections at a very good price. The breakfast pack contained a well thought through mix of things.

The bed was too hard for me, but that's personal taste and it wouldn't put me off staying again.

La qualité de la literie (enfin un lit pas vieux de 20 ans comme nous avons pu avoir dans de nombreux lieux en Ecosse), la propreté, la salle de bain spacieuse et surtout le calme dans la maison !

Petit déjeuner qui vous attend dans le frigo de votre chambre. Dommage ! Il n’y a rien de chaud du coup… Le principe de ce type d’établissement est d’avoir un vrai petit déjeuner à table…

Great location within walking distance of the ferry terminal. The views over the town and the sea were beautiful. The building has a charming historic character, giving the stay an authentic atmosphere.

Hosts lovely very helpful on where to eat etc Accommodation and room facilities were 5* and room had a fridge which is a bonus and the views were amazing.

Not so good for parking. Also not idea for mobility impaired as no lift and also situated on hill so walking up and down to town could be a challenge for some.

Clean, comfortable, well located bed and breakfast at a decent price - what's not to like! There was even some ground coffee and a french press for morning. The packed breakfast was more than ample. Straight forward to come and go.

The bedside light was a little dim but that is just a small quibble.

It was a lovely comfortable property beautifully decorated, and in a Victorian style.

The bathroom was well appointed with modern shower fittings, but the water temperature was totally uncontrollable, being far too hot to use. Big disappointment. Also not impressed with ‘continental breakfast’ in fridge - all ‘processed’ packaged stuff.

Room was clean and comfortable with a nice view over the bay. It was very quiet, as it's up the hill from the town centre. Very nice to have the radiator on in the bathroom. Good shower. Owner was friendly and helpful.

Apple maps took me to the wrong location a block or two further up the hill. Had to ask around to find it. Not the owner's fault, but an alert to this effect in their check-in info would be very helpful.

Our hosts were very friendly, location wonderful, lovely house finished/decorated in an outstanding way/attention to detail. Very clean. Loved the makeup remover cloth.

Three things matter to me in particular - in no order 1. The bathroom 2. The bed/mattress for a good night's sleep 3. The breakfast The bathroom was lovely. But what really spoilt our stay was a very uncomfortable mattress (hardly slept) abd whilst we knew items would be left in the fridge for breakfast, what was left was disappointing (and there was no jam or something savoury to go with the croissant. It was a few things from the supermarket none of which we had for breakfast and half of which we left. We expected a bit more care around breakfast eg use local bakery, provide eg some cheese or jam/marmalade and a choice of fruit and possibly cereal in room. For us, very disappointing. We had breakfast in Oban. We appreciate what was on offer might suit other people.

There is a bit of chance to park on the road in front, otherwise it is possible to park in a municipal parking lot within 5 minutes walking (uphill). Overnight no charghes

Stayed one night as a couple before catching the ferry the next day, and wish it could have been for longer. It is a beautifully decorated and furnished traditional B&B with a lovely view over the town and out to sea from the guestroom. Our room was immaculate and the bathroom was very smart.

De kamer was in een prachtig Victoriaans huis, en ook de kamer zelf was in die stijl. De host was heel erg vriendelijk. Het huis ligt in het mooie centrum van Oban.

De kamer was veel te warm gemaakt. Maar kachels uit en raam open. Wel jammer van de verloren energie.

Fantastic host, Betty, who was very welcoming upon arrival. Well appointed single room which was a good size with a fantastic view across Oban bay towards Mull. The continental breakfast goodie bag was a lovely touch, as was the cafetiere and fresh coffee. The property is beautifully decorated and in keeping with the style of a Victorian villa. The guest sitting room also has great views across the bay. I'll definitely be back when next in Oban. Thank you.

Nothing to dislike about the property but be mindful that there is a bit of a hill to climb on your way back from the town centre. On-street parking is limited and the road is fairly narrow but public parking is available closeby within easy walking distance.

Nearly everything! All the facilities were catered for, and a very nice continental breakfast. Real Coffee was a bonus. A real glass and a bottle of fresh water. Multi fit electric socket, and facility to change mobile phone. Lovely bathroom and high tech mirror that gave off enough light to navigate to it in the dark!

Along with a cozy room, there is a living area that overlooks the city and we thoroughly enjoyed its comfort as well. The host was kind and helpful in pointing out what to see in the area and how to navigate. We had a delightful stay!

Bit more flexibility with luggage drop off as arrived earlier than expected but couldn't reach the staff through contact details to get access into building.

The location was great. It's a bit of a hike up the hill but it's not too far and the view is well worth it. The room was so cute and so cozy and I had an amazing view over the bay. It had all the amenities you could wish for. The owners are super nice and the whole place has a lot of character. Really enjoyed my stay there.

Comfortable convenient well stocked room/accommodation. My only issue was the position of property - up steep winding hill with unreliable parking spaces. The ho’bgat wads my problem - certainly not the accommodation’s !

Although a compact single room had a high ceiling, a view over the bay and excellent en-suite and even a coffee percolator. Comfortable and quiet: a good night’s sleep.

We have stayed at Blair Villa South on a number of occasions. The experience is always first class. The hosts are very helpful and the property luxurious. First class, will book again.

Great location, awesome host, unique B&B with antiques and great view of Oban bay. Favorite place I stayed on my 3 week adventure to Scotland. Modern shower, great bed, but also antiques everywhere, and cool architecture because uts an old house.

The double room was very efficient for electrical power for mobile devices. Absolutely beautiful bathroom.
