The Studio 2 room was spacious with a great lounge space for the 4 of us to relax.

We stayed in studio 1, it had everything we needed a big comfy bed and huge bathroom, the kitchen was really well equipped and the little extras of tea, coffee, milk and sugar meant we could relax as soon as we arrived after a long drive. The heating was easy to use. The Scot is very well positioned and parking at the rear was easy to access, there was a £10 charge but as we walked around Oban the car parks all seemed to be pay and display and street parking(if you could find a space) was only free from 6pm to 9am, it was actually a small price to pay to be able to park at 3pm when we arrived and not leave until 11am the following day in a safe place. We didn’t have breakfast as there are plenty of places to eat, but I did go into the bar and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and it did look and smell delicious.

The studio does not have a window it has 2 big skylights but as The Scot sits one street back from the harbour front you wouldn’t really have a view anyway. It definitely wouldn’t put us off from booking again though.

Location was excellent and on-site parking was a plus even though there was a fee.

Stairs no lift

It was a very clean room.

The bed was extremely firm. If you like a firm bed, it would be great, but I woke up a bit sore as I like a softer mattress.

5 minutes walk from the harbour. Clean, modern and very convenient. Really friendly and helpful staff.

Second time here and it's good they have parking at the back even although its £10 for the day as parking in Oban is awful.Staff nice and place so clean and so near all the shops.Oban is a beautiful town with good mild weather due to the gulf stream passing by it

There is the possibilty of a parking charge for residents which is unnecessary in our opinion. Should Argyll and Bute ever and disgracfully introduce a tourist tax then these charges on top of the accommodation and breakfast charges would influence our decision on visiting.

Sehr moderne Zimmer, mit sehr viel Licht und guter Ausstattung. Außerdem viele Parkplätze im Innenhof. Auch die Lage war optimal, direkt im Zentrum.

Location very central. Parking a bonus. Accommodation in the studio was comfortable and clean. Facilities were good. Most reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Could do with a bit more storage in bedrooms (drawers) and something to put your stuff on in the bathroom.

Nice modern bright apartment, spotless bedding and towels, large comfy beds and great shower. Basic provide tea, coffe milk etc. Nice bar to have a drink at on site staff very friendly.

You had to walk past the bottom of one of the beds to get to the bathroom as family OK for us, but if with friends may seem a little odd. Some folk might prefer a microwave to be provided although the oven was a good.

Price was maybe a little steep, could of been £30-£40 less for the room and facilities offered. However i appreciate its peak season and its not a huge issue.

De vloer van het gebouw kraakt enorm. Wij hadden de pech dat de kamer boven ons die pwrsoon vanaf 4 uur am al aan het lopen was. Dus we hebben geen oog meer dicht gedaan.

We liked the size of the room, the comfortable bed, and modern bathroom. The staff were friendly. Parking is available but costs £10/night.

Our room faced the street, which is very busy with queues towards the harbour. So, we needed to keep the windows closed (the double glazing dealt with the noise). Breakfast is not included in the price. Hence, by adding breakfasts and parking, costs become comparable to higher ranked accommodations.

The cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. Cobwebs around the windows with flies in them and grubby around the edges. The building fire safety is questionable also. I noticed at breakfast that ALL the Bain Marie’s were plugged into one extension lead which is overloading the supply which could potentially cause an electrical fire. If this is what they do in plain sight what can’t we see. Breakfast was passable.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Mattresses had hills, valleys and lumps. The room was not clean - corners and behind the door were not clean. There was a bad smell - musty and sour. The WiFi was painfully slow. The overall feeling was of a place that was run down and tired. It was not worth the money.

Went for breakfast at pre- arranged time when checking in when we got there there was no food available run out was told food was just coming waited 20 minutes still nothing so this was very disappointing.

Property is very nice and well kept. Great location in town. Very walkable to all shops and restaurants. Ended up staying an extra day.

Abbiamo alloggiato in un appartamento indipendente dalla struttura principale, una soluzione che ci ha garantito grande tranquillità, privacy e tutto lo spazio necessario per sentirci come a casa. Un altro grande punto di forza è il parcheggio interno ( attenzione, i posti sono pochi e tendono a esaurirsi durante la giornata) La posizione è semplicemente perfetta: il centro di Oban è raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi e, a brevissima distanza, si trovano sia la distilleria sia il porto, punto di partenza per escursioni e visite alle isole. La combinazione tra comfort, indipendenza e posizione strategica rende questa struttura una scelta ideale per visitare Oban.

It was a nice place to stay as the location is in the centre, and the size of room was big. Also room itself was very clean.

The studio was next to the carpark and every one can look into myroom if they want to see from the carpark. I needed to put the curtains down all the time.

Fantastic central location! Everything you need the harbor, restaurants, and the railway station—is within an easy 8-minute walk. The staff was wonderful, and we had a great stay overall. It was a little pricey due to the season, but absolutely worth the money.

It is a well-located hotel with attractive common areas; the same applies to the rooms, which are large enough to be comfortable, beautiful and feature modern amenities. É um Hotel bem localizado, com áreas comuns bonitas o mesmo acontecendo com os quartos, que embora não sendo grandes têm área suficiente para ser confortáveis, decoração agradável e equipamentos recentes.

On the negative side: there is no elevator, forcing guests to climb with their luggage up the long and narrow stairs to reach the rooms, and the price charged for breakfast is outrageous, especially considering the uninspired selection and lack of variety, not to mention the already high room rate. São aspectos negativos a ausência de elevador que obriga os hóspedes a escalar com as bagagens os longos lances de escadas estreitas de acesso aos quartos e o preço escandaloso pedido pelo pequeno almoço, tendo em vista e a banalidade e pouca variedade oferecida deste e o preço já de si elevado do quarto.

Now being charged £10 per day for parking - one of the reasons we booked here was that there was parking onsite which had been free whenever we have stayed before. With a premium room rate this would put us off booking again as it was excessive.

We stayed 2. Nights in the apartment. Great location in the heart of Oban. It was extremely quite inside with lounge , Bedroom with king bed and lovely linen , also a huge bathroom with walk in shower. The apartment was spotless .
