This hotel is beginning to show it's age, and whilst it is still very good I felt it has waned from the previous time I stayed (last year). It's still an excellent hotel - I like it because it's quiet, big, sporty and wide open. It's also on the beach so it's breezy which is great during the hot months. Sadly, the room upgrade was pointless. BUT! The team at the Italian restaurant on the rooftop are FABULOUS. Really, the service at that hotel is second-to-none. The price should be reduced to reflect the age of the hotel.

Hotel facilities EXTREMELY over occupied. Literally can't find a spot to sit at the pool/beach. Refused us a late checkout (although we're eligible). Very slow service. Kitchens course way to early! It's just an OLD hotel. Very low value for money

It was good but I thought they would surprise me with something nice as I told them it was my birthday. I. General the place was greenn , beautiful, many activities and they give discounts in restaurants. I like the free shuttle services. The staff were nice and friendly. The only thing I don’t like was the weather.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The shuttle to the malls was a nice bonus too. 2 things I think could be better would be free water, or refill stations for our own bottles. More attention to garbage clean up on the beach, overall it didn't effect my stay at all but I appreciate when hotels go above and beyond to help remove plastic.

Extremely noisy from loud constant banging in the courtyard at all hour thru the night from event setup and tear down. Didn't sleep. Marina nightclub loud music till 3am and bright lights in window from club and event setup. Limited restaurants available. Room service menu very limited.

I had an unforgettable stay at Jebel Ali Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional – the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful, well-maintained grounds and a pristine private beach that offered the perfect place to unwind. The variety of activities available, from water sports to relaxing spa treatments, kept everyone in our group entertained. The restaurants offered a wide range of delicious cuisines, and the food quality was top-notch. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had amazing views of the ocean. Overall, Jebel Ali Beach Resort provided an incredible experience and exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing getaway!

Swimming pool was closed. Too much noise for the maintenance work on the pool. Old hotel. This information should’ve been mentioned clearly before confirming the booking specifically with their non refundable cancellation policy. Not flexible at all.

The “all inclusive” option on hotels.com turned out to be the Premium All Inclusive plan which is good value for an all inclusive because the food and drinks you get is the same as other people who are paying for it. A bit limited in the restaurant options that’s actually all inclusive but it’s not bad if you go to all of them (some are a bit far, eg. you need to book a shuttle to get to). The all inclusive tiering is really complicated but if you get the premium it’s pretty good, you can go almost anywhere and have a full meal&drinks.

Horrible experience I cannot believe that they’re having very loudly party till next day morning 4:00am Even after complaining to hotel management no any response

I had a disappointing check-in experience at the hotel. As an Expedia gold member, I was expecting to receive an upgrade, subject to availability. Surprisingly, there was an available upgrade, but the hotel staff informed me that I needed to be a gold member with their specific program. I requested, at the very least, a room with a view, highlighting my status as an Expedia gold member. However, the receptionist signed me up for their membership, even though I already had a membership with Expedia. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, with an excessive amount of paperwork to sign. While the hotel itself was decent, I believe there is room for improvement in their services. They should be more accommodating to guests who come from different platforms with various memberships. It's disheartening that, despite being a loyal Expedia member since 2010, I was treated in such a manner simply because I didn't make a direct reservation with the hotel.

Property was clean and beautiful grounds but no music or any form of entertainment

Staff are wonderful, Mani at the pool bar, Adkil at Vasco de gama and all staff in the sports bar ans restaurants. Plenty of options for pools, lots of sun beds and the resort is very clean. Unfortunate to have the building work going on, would have been better doing this in the summer with kess oeople around.

Property clean easy access to swimming pools and beach. Staff very friendly and corteous.

It was a nice 2 days as a family we spent at the hotel. One room was not ready at the time of check in which is first time i’m facing this issue. But overall it was good.

Great place out of the way though it was close to small palm but was wrong. If I had checked I would have stayed closer to Dubai and Atlantis. Don’t have your clothes washed there they charge way too much.

An excellent and well needed break! Could ask to stay at a better resort for a relaxing fun time all in one. Staff in some areas could be more proactive / helpful (eg. Clearing plates quicker at breakfast etc). Sandbar, Sette and Bibe the real standouts from a great 10 days

The staff- the facilities and the views

False advertising . Requested and paid for a deluxe room sea view room . I was offered a deluxe room with no view or a regular room with a view . Despite payment being taken . Their facilities are not very handicap friendly .

We really like the access to the beach and cleanliness on the beach. We also liked the breakfast where staff was really great.

very friendly, all inclusive option was the best.

The resort was very pleasant! I was happily surprised by the quality of the good. Sometimes resort food can be hit or miss, but this resort had fantastic food! We chose the half-board option because we weren't planning on drinking much and it was a good deal. However, one thing I didn't realize is that some activities like kayaking are included with the full all-inclusive package, so that is something to consider when choosing your package. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would wish for is more available drinking water. The staff was very helpful when asked, but I would have much preferred stations with water bottles or water available to fill reusable bottles.

Great property and food outlets, especially the Captains Bar, unfortunately was very busy yesterday with day visitors which made it difficult to book a lunch venue.

We have been in that hotel for 9 years. We been promise discount, but never happen. There was lots of building works going on and at time it was very noisy. Staff very friendly and helpful

The resort is perfect and so nice they have 4 swimming pools and they have a party on swimming pool and it was so nice especially for kids

Weekend end getaway. Older hotel and quite secluded. Hotel breakfast buffet was good but the evening buffet was overpriced and not of a good quality with limited choices. Bed was comfortable. Beach was very nice but would not stay again. Views from their beach was basically of a industrial shipping port. Overall not what was expected from the hotels write ups.

Nice hotel and a great location if you want to be away from downtown. Many choices of outside areas, beaches, pools, harbor.

We were overall very pleased with our stay. Staff are the best asset as they could not do enough to help us anytime we needed anything. We travelled with a baby and there was a travel cot provided however there was no mattress in this cot so the baby was basically sleeping on the floor within a cot which wasn't so comfortable for him. The room is exceptionally small with luggage and a stroller as well as a cot too. Food in the sports bar was 1 star at best... Which was so disappointing. Same for the kids food in captains bar. The buffet however was amazing for breakfast and dinner... Zero complaints and super service from omkar and team. We did not receive our complimentary upgrade as vip Expedia guests and we would have really have appreciated the extra space.

The property is very nice and well kept and the staff try very hard to keep the place clean and organized . It is a nice gateway from the city and very relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely hotel, but the location wise isn't the best as it's too far from Dubai. Excellent staff, but the cutleries smelled like eggs that my husband and I hated. We stayed over for five days, and every day we had the same problem with the cutleries. I wouldn't say the food tasted good, but overall the staff were very polite.

An amazing retreat. The staff are very friendly and the place is beautifully maintained. Especially at the Sette and white orchid restaurants.

The resort is very family oriented and quiet. It is some distance from Dubai attractions.

The Beach Hotel and The Resort are just sublime. The food is outstanding, the guest experience is out of this world. This is a go to destination. The choice of activities, (many are free), places to eat, selection of drinks will be hard to be beaten anywhere!

An amazing stay at this beautiful resort! The room was compact, cosy, fresh and well equiped. The balcony was lovely. The free Winter Winderland evening was fantastic. Such a great array of drinks and canapes and all for free...very kind and generous! The Italian restaurant was amazing and good value, however, the Tapas restaurant was quite over priced. The breakfast room was very comfortable. Great selection of food and lovely staff. Captain's Bar was great for lunches. I realised on 2nd day that I could receive Emirates Skywards points. The waiter allowed me to add points for both days. Pool are very nice and comfortable. Only downside was the beach, which is part of Jebal Ali. Views not great, but would pay a lot more for hotels on Jumairah beach. Sunbeds plentiful though. A great stay. Would definitely return . Thank you

I like the hotel very much. I would go back in the winter. It is very far from the city center and I would definitely take the shuttle. Also, I would advise to take only metered cabs.

Rooms are old and outdated. The number of things to do while at the resort are outstanding. If only the rooms were better.

The best escape within the city! The most welcoming staff and green scenery we encountered this summer. Nice infinity pools. This Place is perfect for any season to relax and unwind ... We love the place specially the nature preservation of the place. Rooms are clean and balcony view is superb. Foods are delicious in all restaurants. management and staff are very good specially Ms Diana. We love to visit this place again soon.

We loved the pools and grounds. The private beach is close to the hotel and beautiful. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Only negative is that it is set a bit outside the main part of Dubai, a 25-30 minute drive from main attractions. But I would still recommend the hotel and would stay again

Nothing outstanding or memorable about this resort. front desk staff was cheerful. the resort could add a bit more activities/attraction/entertainment for guests.

We were a little disappointed to arrive and be put up in the Palm Tree Court accommodation rather than the JA Beach Hotel. Due to COVID the Beach Hotel has been closed so access was only available within the Resort to Captains Beach Bar and the Sports Cafe. Might have been good to know this in advance as it did limit options but gave up say food, service in both was first class. We would definitely reccomend this resort although won’t return ourselves as it’s so remote and a good 20-30 minute taxi journey to anywhere.

Good for a short staycation with the family. Breakfast booking is a nightmare but otherwise ok

I have booked JA beach hotel, but on check-in I was told it is closed and got relocated to Palm Court. Which is a run down hotel that I never wanted to stay! I have checked-in with the family (2kids). Since our arrival was at 20.00 we went straight for the dinner. Once reached the room at 21.00 we have discovered that it is on the second floor with no elevator! And there is no chance to get baby stroller upstairs! Making it impossible for my wife to manage the things alone. But this was not the end, there were no baby beds set up in the room! Despite the booking info had all kids logged and on check-in staff saw all kids and collected their IDs. Worst experience ever! And I had a race starting at 5a.m. So all this mess was totally not needed. Had to cancel the further stay and left hotel in the morning.

Very nice hotel as usual since 5 years ago coming for anniversary with perfect location, I got very nice room in palm court resort instead as the hotel is closed these days.

It was a wonderfully relaxing place to stay. I’m already booked to go back again.

Staff were excellent and well informed. Partner is a coeiliac and obviously nervous on gluten contamination. Not only were the staff all completely clued up, the chef came out twice to fully explain how the food was prepared. Only downside was the sports facilities, specifically the sailing. Hobie Cat for rental was ill-equipped and not fit for rent. Think this facility was a sub-contract business and not directly connected to the hotel.

Pools and service amazing; evening entertainment non existent.

The hotel is in the grossest part of Dubai (it’s in the industrial area in the middle of nowhere). The photos of the beach of the hotel are deceiving.

This was the most awful management ever for a hotel it has a long way to go its identity is confused as are its staff who are inexperienced and have bad levels of english a lot of training is required and it should be noted that it is unsuitable for small children all in all awful

We return to hotel but due to renovation was offered a room in palm tree court next door Did not get same service as last year we prefer the ja beach hotel as palm tree is set up different with suites which are away from main pools and dining also felt more of a personal service in hotel than in suite in palm tree

Peaceful area away from the noise and hustle of Dubai. Locked into hotels prices and expensive food and drinks. Dubai is too expensive all round and in danger of outpricing itself. JA is a nice resort and lovely beach but rooms are quite small and very small balconies. Staff excellent. Shooters is a shuttle bus ride away but worth it.

Delighted with the hotel! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the pool and sunbathing areas marvellous. We loved the private beach too. Can’t recomm the hotel highly enough. It made our stay!!

Lots of things to do including the excellent 9 hole golf course and driving range. Ideal for families, too, as relaxed and not too glitzy.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. Staff were ver friendly and keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The only draw back was that it was some way from the main city.

The resort is located outside Dubai but it is a perfect place to relax after you do all the activities in Dubai. They also have a shuttle to the city (Dubai mall, Atlantis). The stuff is mostly very helpful. The waitress at the breakfast place are really friendly. One of the waitress at the breakfast restaurant was very friendly and very professional. Her name is Beilul The only thing about the resort that needs a little work is the rooms are very old. As a 5 star resort, the rooms need some remodeling. Everything inside the room are probably 15 years old or more

Our room was upgraded to a suite at the sister property and we were quite pleased with our accommodations.

Our hotel stay here was wonderful. The atmosphere was quite and serene. The free transportation to and from the Atlantis and malls was timely and offered many drop offs and pick up options. The singer at the piano bar was great and offered an upscale entertainment option for its guests.

Amazing!

A truly 5 stars hotel, the attention to customer needs and details is exceptional! They even change the elevator’s mat 3 times a day to greeting you with “good morning, good afternoon and good night” ! Lots of pools spreaded in a beautiful garden with several waterfalls and the beach is also very clean, with comfortable sun lounge chairs. Hotel perfectly clean inside and outside. The personal often anticipated my requests, very friendly yet discreet, polite and gentle like only East Asian are. Several restaurants with different cuisine. The bedroom was perfect as well, exactly like the picture, very elegant, comfortable and clean. The bed and beddings are 1st quality.... the only problem? Holidays to short!!!

Everything about it was great. The rooms would be cleaned every time we went to eat or went out. The staff was great. Food was good. Resort was excellent.

Fantastic private beach with beautiful palm trees and lakes throughout the resort. Great swimming pools and wildlife complimenting the resort.

IT'S OK FOR A BREAK

Amazing in every way. Food, drinks, beach, swimming pools, golf, and staff the best we have ever experienced.

The hotel is amazing, views are great, service was a little lacking recently and I’m not sure why. When I stayed the hotel wasn’t at capacity but the staff (besides the front desk/concierge) just seemed overwhelmed. Overall I love that this hotel is in a quiet location with all the comforts and some amazing food available as well activities to enjoy as well.

Aside from the Bed Matress which is not very comfortable for me as I suffered from bad back, the choice of pillow are not really possible as no pillow available. Other that those 2 problem the rest is very good.

After long time I have been to this hotel again So many things changed ! The room AC was not working well! The front beach reasturant food and service was 👎 You can't use all the swming pool same as befor ! Buffe lunch was very Nice ! Also good service Overalls I think you should reserve their villas to get all the services !

Been before - excellent again

Very nice location, rooms were kept clean and tidy everyday, staff were helpful when needed. Hotel was further afield than realised which was nice for private beach and pretty scenery but had to plan day around going out on courtesy bus to eat etc, entertainment is very poor from what we took part in, would be good to do more activities for all, not sure we would return as we like to be kept busy and jebel Ali didn’t offer this, but very nice for a relaxing holiday
