Nice location, very clean throughout, nice and quiet within the hotel, outside a different matter. Them seagulls are are well noisy.

The location is spot on for Brighton. Perfect.

Considering I booked in February for the August bank holiday, I would of expected a better size room. Instead we were put in a very small double room.

Unclean and the shower was not fit for purpose

The location was great. Close to the beach, restaurants and cafes. We especially loved the cafe “Cup of Joe” They have a fabulous art exhibition on. The bed was very comfortable. It was also great having a fridge.

The room was very tired! We also didn’t read the instructions properly and walked up all the stairs trying to find our room. Number 11. Which in fact is in the basement. They have an issue with moths in the room eating the curtains and carpet and they kept flying into our suitcase. The room had quite a large burn mark on the rug which looked like someone had put on iron on the floor and one of the outside chairs the wooden slats are Broken. The other slight inconvenience they have no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes or towels.

Room 7 is on the top floor so a bit of a hike for an older person. Room faces the street which I thought would be quiet but motorbikes and cars accelerating makes it very noisy for a light sleeper

Very nice and close to the beach, the town location was excellent.

The hotel was very conveniently located and my room had a sea view.

The shower pressure was abominable, barely a trickle came out. The cleanliness was also disappointing, with hair and cobwebs in several places. The coffee machine made only tiny, weak espressos, despite me pressing the larger cup button.

Huoneessa oli todella siisti ja puhdas kylpyhuone. Huoneessa oli myös kahvia, teetä, suklaata ja keksejä. Puhtaan tuoksuiset pyyhkeet ja lakanat. Huoneessa oli sopiva lämpötila, vaikka oli todella kuuma päivä.

Portaikko oli ahdas ja portaat jyrkät. Meitä hieman pelotti tulla niitä alas matkalaukun kanssa. Myös huone oli aika ahdas, mutta riitti yhden yön yöpymiseen.

Location was ideal

Property was beginning to feel a little jaded. Stairway carpets frayed & torn and nasty stain on bedroom carpet. Terrace floor needs redecoration and railing corroded and again requires remedial repair and redecoration.

Very noisy room. Traffic & loud pedestrians. Dirty carpets. Windosils dirty. Pillows very hard & uncomfortable. Blown bulb in shower. No decent lighting over mirrors for makeup.

Lovely place, private, well furnished, large comfortable bedroom would definitely stay again

The room was nice, very clean, nice view of the sea from the window and a good size. Good coffee and tea and a chocolate bar which was a nice touch.

It said it was going to be a large double but it was two single beds stuck together and the springs had gone in both to varying degrees, making it an uncomfortable sleep on two soft beds that varied

Muy bien ubicado a poca distancia de todo. Muy limpio, cama cómoda, personal muy atento y dispuesto a ayudar en todo lo requerido.

Nos tocó una habitación muy pequeña con poco espacio para las maletas, la TV no funcionaba y la ducha era muy pequeña.

Unfortunately we were right next to the road side literally and being summer it was busy of course, and had to have the windows open as there was no air conditioning

Läget! Närheten till stranden och trevlig gata i Kemptown. Enkelt att checka in, kändes välskött. Bra och prisvärt boende i Brighton, där många andra hotell var väldigt dyra.

Lovely little place near the front. Easy check in with door codes instead of keys - which also made nipping out to swim in the sea each morning simple as well. Cute little balcony and decent sized room.

It was pricey for two nights; but I assume that's because Pride was on so the city was extremely busy...

Room was as it said on the booking - small and basic but clean and comfortable.

The blinds banged all night if windows open but they needed to be as it was very hot!! Very noisy!! No staff all electronic - a bit odd!

The top floor was super hot and stuffy and as you could not open windows enough it felt like a fire hazard, if there was a fire it was game over.We did not stay and checked into the Mercure hotel that night instead , I had a quick shower with no water pressure and left straight after . Definitely not a 4 star hotel .

Clean, convenient to our needs. Location great. Plenty of nice places to eat and drink in Kemptown. Value for money.

A really nice room in a great location. Will definitely come back to the White House

Proximity to the beach and facilities. we were able to use a key code to get in easily and return when we wanted to. Nice touch leaving chocolate.

I mean it was a tad noisy out the window, but not a problem at all and made use of the ear plugs!

I really appreciated the cleanliness, coziness, and thoughtfulness with the teas and snacks in the room. Everything was quain, quiet and beautiful. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Working the shower was a little stressful but the instructions helped a lot.

Easy access to the property and room with the door code emailed to you. Very clean and tidy.

Window didn't close properly so I could hear all the noise from outside,alot of noise from the room above and the blackout blind didn't cover the window, may as well of had no blind as soon as the sun came up

Sehr gut gelegen, nahe Meer und Zentrum, gute Busverbindungen

Für eine Person ok, zu zweit wäre das Zimmer sehr eng. Eher laut, man braucht Ohrenpax und eine Schlafmaske, da es im Sommer sehr früh hell wird und es teilweise laut in der Strasse ist.

We liked how clean it was, found the room ok but quite small, the fan in bedroom wasn’t strong, needed windows shut due to noise. It was fit for purpose.

In hot weather not great….. defo need better fans, maybe a shampoo and conditioner.

This time around as usual the room (2) was very clean but the toilet had remnants of faeces in it. Quite noisy from traffic when the windows are open but I did not find this particularly bothersome.

Katastrophale Parksituation für Ortsfremde, die Wohnung lag im Keller und ist bei hohen Temperaturen sehr heiß und roch muffig.Ein Hinweis auf die Art des Zimmers bei der Buchung wäre da hilfreich für eine Entscheidung.Ich hätte diese Unterkunft nicht gebucht.

no hemos podido ducharnos, el agua de la ducha no salia y luego solo muy caliente y no hubo manera regularlo. el baño tiene aviso que la ducha es rara pero no hasta el punto de no poder regular. y no hay ni un espejo en la habitación. solo un pequño para la cara en el baño. muy incomodo para poder vestirse.

Location, was only 20min walk to the centre. Close to the beach, shop and bars around the corner. Bus service very close by.

The temperamental shower!! The sign was not obvious enough, maybe should be next to the shower not the basin

Very small double room, with bed pushed up against the wall. Tiny shower cubicle and shower head too close to wall to shower effectively. Very hard lumpy bed with lumpy pillows.

A lovely, clean and comfortable room in an immaculately maintained property in prime Brighton location. Wonderful to step outside and see the sea. Very friendly and helpful host and staff with excellent communication and easy check in. The room had everything you needed with extra touches of dairy free milk and some chocolate! We also had a fridge in our room which was a nice surprise. It was a treat to stay here and we will definitely be back!

On the far edge of Kemptown so a little bit of a walk from the main city and beach but it is nice and quiet. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained. Room small but had everything needed and the water/tea/coffee/chocolate was a really nice touch.

Very clean and spacious room, with lovely views and some welcome additional touches (chocolate bars). Tea and coffee provided, including soya milk which was a big win! Excellent communication and at all times. Would absolutely stay again.

The room felt a little compact for two people, although we did have quite a lot of luggage which likely added to the feeling of limited space.

The number of stairs to the room

The property is in a good walking distance in & out of Brighton city centre. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed for a short stay. Price was very good for a 1 night stay.

A few items were dated - bathroom window did not open or close properly. Road facing room was very noisy and creaky floorboards (which both can’t be helped), just a problem if you are a light sleeper.

The property was well located, close to the seafront and the centre of Brighton for cafes, shops and sights. The room was clean and sufficiently sized for one person.

Prior to making the booking, it was not flagged that the property had no check in desk and operated a fully self service hotel. This meant that leaving a bag the property to pick up after check out was not possible. Additionally, the pictures were a bit outdated and some aspects of the property were in need of a renovation.

Absolutely outstanding little gem! Location is good as it's just away from the noisy part of the seafront, but not so far that it's a long walk. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, including a little sweet treat each. The little terrace on the front was a nice spot to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

Two little points: a mirror attached over the sink would be useful as would a sign to say there is a step down into the room (2)

The hotel is in a good location, we liked having a sea view from our bedroom window. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nicely decorated , spacious room and big shower room.

The shower was impossible to warm up so had to give up. Unfortunately when ever the guests in the room below put their TV on we could hear every word, even if we turned ours on too.

Perfect location, easy access via keypad entry and very good value for money. Will definitely be staying here again

The narrow stairs leading up to the 4th floor rooms was a bit dangerous. It was a good job we were not too boozed from our night out to be able to safely ascend and descend the stairs.

The experience felt quite impersonal.

The room was clean and comfortable. we liked the balcony and that you could hear the sounds of the gulls from the balcony. The coffee machine and variety of teas on offer and the Kit Kats and biscuits were a nice touch. The toiletries were of good quality. It was very convenient that we were able to store our luggage in the entrance area, as it would have meant a long trek back to where our car was parked, if we hadn't had this facility.

The only small negative was that a noisy generator (?) came on during the night, approximately twice, which woke me up. Not sure if it was just a temporary fault of equipment.

Sauberkeit eine Katastrophe, Matratze war unzumutbar. Wir haben direkt wieder ausgecheckt! Es waren Schamhaare im Bett!

Close to water and right in town with bars restaurants bakery and coop for groceries etc.

Main door did not close automatically had to be pulled shut and guests were leaving door open at all hous including during the night. As a senior I did feel secure. Although my unit was locked.
