The room was very welcoming, clean and newly refurbished.

2 members of staff that I spoke to was very nice. Nothing else to add

You could have done with a small fridge in the room.No breakfast at this commodation , which I did not know about the money that we paid for 4 nights with no breakfast.I would of never booked it if i realised if you were a diabetic and you have not got access to a fridge , this property is no good for anybody that has got an illness like diabetic . I would never go back to this property again, certainly is not valued for the money that i pay for my room just for a bed ,telly , toilet shower.in the room the shower floor had Staines on.floor toilet was not clean.Staines on the floor and definitely not value for money

Super friendly staff, we were made to feel very welcome and I liked the eccentric vibe in reception. The hotel is in Kemptown but just off of the main strip so at night it was quiet and it's also just a stone's throw from the seafront - great for us since we were spending our trip in the lower end of town anyways. Everything was functional and I'd definitely stay here again.

It may have been 'user error' but I'm not sure that the extractor fan in the bathroom was working which meant that there was a slight musty smell in there upon arrival, but otherwise no complaints overall.

De eenpersoonskamer was voor mij net groot genoeg voor een verblijf van 4 nachten, knus maar praktisch! Brighton is - zeker 's nachts tijdens de weekends - een bruisende stad met coherente geluidsoverlast... maar daar heb ik door de uitstekende ligging van Paskins Town House niet de minste hinder van ondervonden.

Voor mij viel er niets tegen, als ik dan toch iets wil zeggen: het douchegordijn is aan vervanging toe. Je dient alles in verhouding te nemen, op basis van de prijs én de ligging voldeed mijn verblijf ruimschoots!

Thge style was nice

Patron in the room above - bang bang bang on the old ceiling, we thought they were going to come through the roof. From 7pm until 1am the first night and from 10pm until 1am the second night, non stop loud plodding on the ceiling. Didn't sleep either night. For reference we were in Room 8 and Room 9 was above us

No nets in the bedroom, see through blind in the bathroom means everyone can see you who lives opposite when uou have a shower or using the toilet,no lock on the door, missing lock on the sash bathroom window, a lack of toilet paper, noone at reception at any point in time, your name drafter on a peace od paper wirh the key to your room meant everyone could see who was staying there so a lack of privacy, no information about local things to do would have been nice to have it, a sign on emergency procedure only on 1 side od the door meaning if you didnt close it you wouldn't have seen it, no sign on thr bell this is for the hotel. No staff present, so noone to talk to unless you called a number displayed at reception. No number on the front door to call if you need help,just a bell to ring in hope someone answers.

View from window was looking straight into other properties. Would have preferred street view. TV didn’t work unless I played with the aerial connections

Die Lage ist super und die Zimmer mit normalen Fenstern sicher schöner.

Das Fenster war sehr dreckig und ließ sich nur sehr schwer bis fast nicht öffnen, das Licht am Bett funktionierte nicht, der Schrank war voll mit Krams und der Duschvorhang war dreckig. Ich bin mir sicher, dass die anderen Zimmer schön(er) sind, das kleine Einzelzimmer (Nr. 12) wirkte aber eher wie ein Abstellraum im Keller.

Great location 5 min walk to the pier on a quiet street. Cafe and supermarket really close. Parking permit for a day available at 20 a day and was less than 5 minutes away. Easy access with door codes. Nicely decorated room which was spotless.

Not material but room was not same as one shown on booking.com , however room was very lovely.

The check in was easy, the location was convenient for the beach a little walk to the city centre, staff was friendly

I requested a late check in as requested upon booking and did not receive a confirmation (or any response) so that I had to change plans to meet the 7pm check in time to then be told it wouldn't have been a problem to check in late..The bed was very squeaky and not super comfortable, a carpeted room in 2026 is wild, few ways to charge - I had to crawl under the desk to plug in my cables and ended up forgetting them (totally on me!) and the night light on the side did not have any plugs so it was only decorative. I only booked a few days in advance so maybe this is also on me but the room itself for the price I paid just did not meet my expectations

Four poster bed and location next to a lovely breakfast venue and an Indian restaurant and the music festival we were attending, the Wedding Present at Concorde 2 on Madeira Drive.

The room could have been a little bit bigger but it was not a problem.

Asked if I could book in early or leave my bags there and that was no problem. The room was vacated so I had a quick change and shower and so was able to go about my business on time. Everything was clean and tidy and the welcome was very friendly so thanks for being so helpful I really appreciate it.

Only that the single room was a bit small, but I only needed to sleep there and shower, so no great problem as everything was clean and working properly.

vaig haver de demanar diverses vegades que em passessin el codi d'entrada del teclat del portal per fer check in al vespre quan la recepció ja estava tancada i havia avisat durant la setmana i fins a 3 vegades via booking el mateix dia. No tothom pot trucar o té Internet quan viatja fora del país! va suposar una mica de nervis fins a aterrar a Gatwick en un dijous ( -2h. arribada a l'allotjament) però es va resoldre bé. El cas és que era el cap de setmana del Pride a Brighton (els preus eren alts arreu) i esperava veure algú a la recepció al menys el dilluns al matí o dimarts abans de marxar, però tampoc va ser així. S'agraeix socialitzar una mica a vegades quan vas sol :-) L'única sorpresa és que no es va canviar cap tovallola en 5 nits d'estada i no es va ni tant sols recollir o canviar la tassa del te, tot i que una noia molt amable va picar a la porta 1 migdia (que era a l'habitació) i em va demanar si necessitava res. Entenc que tampoc es va passar l'aspiradora. En fi, jo no tinc manies però altres viatgers potser sí. Entenc que potser eren dies de descans pels propietaris.

The lady on reception was so friendly upon arrival. We arrived early but she let us leave our bags so we could go out into the town and explore. She told us about what was in the area and things we could try. Very friendly and helpful :)

I had informed the hotel we were arriving early, we were allowed in to drop bags, change etc, which was very helpful. Staff were very friendly and chatty, bed was comfortable, shower was very good. Very much liked the posh biscuits, thanks!

The only downside was noise from neighbours which did not cease until 0330hrs. Not the hotel's issue per-se, but very annoying and did spoil the stay a bit.

Great location, lovely and very accommodating staff, rooms were clean and tidy, quick check in and check out, and good value for money!

Floorboards from upstairs were a little creaky but it’s an old building so to be expected!

Klein rustig hotel op fijne locatie, leuk ingericht aardig personeel. Heerlijke producten en ruime kamer (alleen badkamer wat klein) maar je zit dan ook in een historisch pand, dat maakt het verblijf heel bijzonder. Je loopt zo naar de pier of het centrum in.

We sliepen bovenin dus wel veel trappen, voor ons geen enkel probleem dus goed dat wij hier sliepen. Matras was wel wat verouderd.

We hadden twee kamers: een met twee bedden en die was voldoende ruim voor twee mensen; en een met een 'dubbel' bed (nauwelijks meer dan een twijfelaar, dus erg smal voor 2 volwassenen). Deze laatste kamer was ontzettend klein, je kon met moeite rond het bed en het was onmogelijk om hier met twee even te relaxen. De bedden waren op beide kamers echt slecht: een soort van matras waar je zo doorzakte om op een harde plank te liggen. Gevolg: geblokkeerde rug na 1 nacht.

Paskins was very clean and comfortable. Despite the heat we slept well. The issue for us were the stairs. We are both in our late 70's.we managed however for the few days we were there. Also the shower could do with a safety mat. We had to be very careful negotiating the shower. I think this hotel or at the least the top 2 floors is not the best place for us seniors but suited for younger generation.

The House was comfortable, clean and quiet. It's located close to the beach. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.

You have to share the bathroom which can be inconvinient at busy times.

Friendly staff, room seemed to have been refurbished recently. Managed to park outside in the road (£20 parking voucher for 24 hours available from reception). Short walk along seafront into town

Stair carpets in common areas do need updating, they give the place a bit of a student flat feel

La amabilidad del personal fue excelente. La ubicación del lugar, es genial, puedes ir andando a todo lo importante, y hay autobuses cerca si es necesario que te dejan donde necesites. La limpieza del lugar fue impecable. No se escuchaba ruido de la calle en general, pude descansar adecuadamente. La habitación disponía de todo lo necesario para tener una estancia agradable.

El colchon de la cama se sintió un poco extraño,, parece que algun muelle no estaba en su sitio, pero aun así era aceptable. El frigorífico de la habitación hacía más ruido de lo que esperaba asi que era incómodo tenerlo funcionando mientras dormía.

Clean hotel. Friendly staff. I asked for a quiet room and was given one on the second floor. It was cozy, with an electric kettle, fan, iron, and hairdryer. Warm water in the shower. Overall, I liked the hotel.

The winter blanket was very hot in summer . I asked for something lighter, but they haven't. The fire alarm went off twice on the first night.

Absolutely stunning room, even better in real life and such a comfortable bed! It was a great size with a lovely seating area and floor to ceiling window that opened (needed during the heatwave!), they also provided a separate fan. The bathroom was well designed and a spacious shower, along with a large wardrobe so ultimately a brilliantly designed room with regency details. They offered cleaning during our stay which is a real rarity these days with many hotels and guest houses, we didn’t need it but was good to restock used items. The location is perfect for us, and in a pretty quiet street. We visit Brighton regularly so this will be our new regular place to stay!

Such a minor thing but it would have been helpful if we’d have been able to open the bathroom window as it was pretty hot in there which made showering was quite uncomfortable

Bed was so comfortable and location was amazing! They really seem to care about the details, was so nice to come back every day to a made bed and stocked up milk for coffee. So worth the money!

Clean comfortable and well priced

I liked the proximity to seaside and to the pier. I also liked the flexible access to the room without having to wait for the reception. The room was also equipped with hairdryer and an iron which was great.

The humidity and lack of ventilation did not allow the towels to dry properly especially that the shower was built in the room and did nit has its own window. I did not ask for new towels though. However, the cleaner went to the room when I was outside tidied the room but did not change the towels which I think should be done without asking.

The property was very far from the centre of Brighton and not in the best area. The room was very small and tired. The room was not serviced from day to day other than the duvet being put back. Towels not changed, toiletries, not replenished, room and bathroom not cleaned. Additionally, the floors were very creaky and we were kept awake both nights by guests in the bedroom above stomping around very heavily late into the night. Definitely not 8.2 rating
