La ubicación. Hay que depender del metro, el barrio es feo y está muy sucio.

The view was incredible! Very clean and comfortable

The breakfast finished early and wasn’t great but would sustain you for the morning! Coffee was available all day which was much appreciated!!

It was clean and the bed were super comfortable. I loved the way the shower control was against the wall as you first enter the shower before the water hits you. You can adjust the temperature of the water before stepping in. Phenomenal! Never saw that done before. Its the details like that are above and beyond comfort!

I can not think of any negatives because it was great!

La zona molto sporca e poco raccomandabile. La vista dalla stanza (avevo richiesto un piano alto). Il doccino era fisso alla parete quindi scomodo. La colazione molto scarsa, poco varia e dolci e salimi inesistenti

Stanza molto spaziosa e pulita, con una bellissima vista del 15° piano. Ampi spazi nella hall e ascensori nuovi e capienti. Cambio biancheria giornaliero.

Colazione molto scarsa e decisamente migliorabile.

L’habitació era correcte per 4 persones (2 adults i dos joves), el bany era ampli i ens canviaven cada dia les tovalloles. La neteja de l’habitació era diaria i lo que més ens va agradar va ser les vistes que teniem, que eren de tot el skyline de Manhattan. Per últim però no menys important, l’atenció dels treballadors de l’hotel, molt amables i disposats a ajudar-te en tot lo que els hi demanaves, especial menció al Mateo!

No es que no ens agradés, però podrien variar una mica més els esmorzars, posar algo de pernil dolç pels bagels, o xocolata pels gofres, posar cacau en pols per la llet, per exemple…

Vista assurda di tutto lo skyline da LIC, servizi impeccabili, doccia walk-in enorme, pulizia della camera tutti i giorni, staff gentilissimo, colazione abbondante, la metro è a neanche 5 minuti a piedi, di fronte c’è anche una lavanderia

Leggermente la zona in cui è situato ma nulla di preoccupante, essendo la metro così vicina

Purtroppo la struttura non dispone di abbastanza spazio per permettere a tutti gli ospiti di godersi la colazione, abbiamo dovuto mangiare con i piatti in mano perché non c’era mai posto

Das Hotel ist in einem guten Zustand und die Zimmer sind ordentlich und sauber. Man hat einen kleinen Kühlschrank und eine Kaffeemaschine…Man kann sich auch Eiswürfel holen…

Die Betten sind sehr schmal…die Matratze liegt nur lose auf dem Bettgestellt… war für uns sehr ungewohnt…

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7-night stay at the Wingate. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and truly felt like a home away from home. The staff was always attentive, and having daily room cleaning made our stay even more relaxing. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning, but the highlight was definitely the convenient location. The nearest subway station is just a short 6–7 minute walk away, getting us into downtown Manhattan in just 2 to 3 stops. Highly recommended!

While the stay itself was great, the surrounding area did take a little getting used to. Coming from Europe, I felt slightly uncomfortable walking around at times due to some sketchy activity, loud music, and loitering on the streets. That said, nothing negative actually happened to us, and there is a visible police presence patrolling the area all day, which helped us feel reasonably safe, it was more about personal comfort than actual danger.

El personal muy amable, pendientes de todo lo necesario en especial Jimena. El hotel es nuevo y está perfectamente limpio. La habitación amplia con cama y almohadas muy cómodas. La vista desde la habitacion es una locura. El desayuno es casi todos los dias lo mismo pero suficiente para comenzar bien el día. Está ubicado a 2 cuadras de la estación 21 queensbridge que te conecta en 15 minutos a Manhattan. En general es un hotel 10/10 que te brinda demasiado por un excelente precio.

El barrio donde está ubicado es feo, sucio y al principio se siente peligroso. Pero en una semana de estadía no tuvimos ningún inconveniente.

Un grand merci à Alexandra pour le soin accordé au ménage tous les jours: un sans-faute. Excellente option proche du métro. 10mn de métro pour rejoindre Middletown...trop bien!

L'espace petit déjeuner était souvent plein.

Todo, la atención de todo el personal en los diferentes turnos en recepción, la cama super cómoda, el desayuno muy bueno con variedad, el café todo el día, todo muy bueno. Todos los días me trasladaba a Manhattan y la estación del metro estaba a 3 minutos del hotel.

Hotel muito limpo e organizado. Cama muito confortável e limpa, chuveiro ótimo (água quente sempre e pressão boa). Equipe do hotel muito simpática e prestativa. MUITO perto do metrô e fica a apenas alguns minutos de NY.

Café da manhã deixa a desejar mas não é de todo ruim. A localização é em um bairro um pouco duvidoso, mas foi super tranquilo e chegamos vários dias tarde da noite.

La seule chose que nous n’avons pas aimé c’est la douche, en tant qu’européen nous avons l’habitude d’avoir des douches amovible avec une forte pression. Aux etats unis les douches sont collés au mur et la pression est très faible. C’est compliqué pour se laver. Aussi la clim dans les partie commune est beaucoup trop forte il fait froid mais à part ces deux choses cetait super

Camera non molto spaziosa Colazione sguarnita e qualità mediocre, non a livello della struttura

Buona scelta dei cibi per la colazione e mai vuoti i contenitori sempre riempiti dal personale gentile e disponibile , direi nella media per un tre stelle in quella posizione. Hotel situato a 5 minuti dalla metro ottima soluzione per raggiungere il centro e tutte le altre destinazioni di Manhattan. Personalmente ho raggiunto per alcune volte central park a piedi praticando jogging , tutto il Queensboro Bridg ha una doppia corsia dedicata solo ai pedoni , cosa che ho apprezzato tantissimo, pure il parco situato a pochi minuti da dove tra l'altro gode di uno skilive eccezionale.

Forse l'acustica della stanza non era delle migliori , il condizionatore fa abbastanza rumore ma ci si abitua. Si potrebbe organizzare una navetta per il trasporto degli ospiti , a pagamento , verso la stazione Jamaica per il rientro al JFK.

La posizione ottima a pochi minuti dalla metro che in 15 minuti raggiunge Times Square. L'hotel è pulito e funzionale, la zona sembra abbastanza tranquilla anche per la presenza pressoché costante di un paio di agenti di polizia. Colazione accettabile.

Ho pagato l'hotel tramite booking circa 4 giorni prima del soggiorno. Il giorno prima del volo mi hanno mandato una mail con le istruzioni per fare il check in on line richiedendo una carta di credito che ho fornito (pensando fosse per il consueto deposito cauzionale). Una volta atterrato al JFK e attivato il roaming, scopro che durante il volo mi hanno addebitato l'intero soggiorno sulla carta. Fatto subito reclamo a booking mi dicono che c'è stato un errore da parte dell'hotel e l'importo verrà stirnato dalla mia carta, chiedo alla reception e mi dicono che in 3/5 gg lavorativi riavrò l'accredito. Passano 7 giorni e niente [intanto ero già a Philadelphia]. Booking mi dice che ci vorranno 15 gg lavorativi. Intanto io ero negli Usa con la carta di credito con il plafond praticamente azzerato e quindi inutilizzabile. Fortunatamente avevo altre carte però è assurdo che succedano queste cose che creano non poco disagio. Oltretutto lo storno è arrivato dopo 20 giorni e il plafond è stato resettato dopo oltre un mese, insomma una bella somma bloccata per un mese sulla carta rendendola di fatto inutilizzabile per un loro errore. Mi sarei aspettato da Booking almeno un gesto di risarcimento minimo per il disagio, sarebbe bastato anche un piccolo sconto sui loro servizi, non tanto per il denaro quanto per il gesto, invece niente. Preciso che la tal cosa mi era capitata anche lo scorso anno in California ma per un soggiorno di una sola notte, quindi l'importo bloccato era stato molto inferiore. Spero che Booking migliori la comunicazione, sui pagamenti, con gli hotel in futuro.

Breakfasts were plentiful and nutritious. Convenient access to subway and city / Manhattan. room had all needed facilities. Close to a wide range of takeaway food outlets. Helpful and courteous staff. Neighbourhood was colourful and interesting. Well supported by an unobtrusive police presence.

Lokalita co se týče dostupnosti je super. Ale okolí hotelu a cesta směrem k metru to je bohužel reálná amerika, špína, a chudý Američané. Po pulnoci bych doporučoval cestu taxikem. Na pokoji jsou dosti hlučné klimatizace, nejde při tom spat. Snad jen se špunty do uši. Snídaně dosti omezené a opakující se.

Perfect "base camp" if you need to access Manhattan by subway in under 10-15 minutes. Nice room with a lot of space, great breakfast, but gets crowded around 9 am. Very helpful and nice staff. The hotel vicinity might seem a bit sketchy at first sight, but after a day or two, you just get used to this part of Queens. We walked it a lot, both during the day and at night, and nothing bad ever happened.

Customers need to know that this property is surrounded by projects and is unsafe to walk around at night. I was very very very disappointed.

La comodidad, ubicación, limpieza, la vista, la iluminación. Pero por sobre todo, la atención. Jimena y José fueron sumamente amables, afectuosos y siempre predispuestos a cualquier pedido.

No creo que nada de este hotel sea desfavorable. Es el mejor lugar calidad-precio para quedarse y recorrer Nueva York. Lo volvería a elegir nuevamente en caso de volver. Recomendadísimo.

The room was spatious enough for two people and four pieces of luggage. Τhe bed was comfortable and the air conditioning strong. There is a metro station 5’ on foot. It takes about half an hour with the metro to get to Central Manhattan.

Even though the house keeping stuff visited our room every day to rearrange the bed and change the towels, they didn’t mop the floor once in the 8 (!) days we stayed there, which we found very odd and strange. The breakfast was below average and the soundproofing not the best one. The neighborhood doesn’t have much to offer.

Hotel in posizione molto comoda alla fermata della metro Queensbridge. Anche se in un quartiere popolare e abitato da persone in stato di disagio, non ci siamo mai sentite in pericolo. Camera e bagno spaziosi e puliti, con servizio quotidiano di pulizia e cambio asciugamani e lenzuola. Colazione inclusa molto basica, ma sufficiente per iniziare la giornata.

Very clean. And the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The breakfast cooks were very good at keeping up with the crowds for breakfast and all with nice attitudes.

The location was close to subway which is a plus but in Queens NY so you have to know how to navigate around the street folks though hotel itself felt safe and we didn’t have any hesitations to walk around. Was a bit crowded for breakfast but then it was World Cup so I can understand.

Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου, οι παροχές και η καθαριότητα των δωματίων είναι από τους παράγοντες που καταστούν το ξενοδοχείο μία ιδανική επιλογή για διαμονή στην Νέα Υόρκη. Η στάση του μετρό βρίσκεται μόλις στα πέντε λεπτά και κοντά στο ξενοδοχείο υπάρχει ένα πολύ όμορφο πάρκο με ξεχωριστή θέα στο skyline, ενώ το τελεφερίκ από το Roosevelt Island βρίσκεται ακριβώς στην επόμενη στάση. Οι μετακινήσεις με το μετρό ήταν αρκετά εύκολες και η απόσταση από το κεντρικό Μανχάταν πολύ μικρή.

Αυτό που σίγουρα με ξάφνιασε ήταν οι διάφοροι περιπλανώμενοι εκτός του ξενοδοχείου, κυρίως την νύχτα, στην γειτονιά της Queenbridge, όπου και βρίσκεται το ξενοδοχείο. Επίσης, ο κλιματισμός ήταν αρκετά ενοχλητικός και θορυβώδης αλλά δεν χρειάστηκε σχεδόν καθόλου να τον χρησιμοποιήσουμε.

Hotel nuovo, camere forse un po troppo piccole, eravamo in tre su due letti alla francese con un bagno e un piccolo ingresso. Comunque siamo stati bene.

Excelente habitación, espaciosa, piso 16 con una vista espectacular a toda la ciudad. La limpieza 10 puntos de igual manera, excelente la atención del staff. Disponibilidad de café y agua todo el dia.

La ubicación no fue de nuestro agrado. Está a 20 minutos en subte de Times Square pero la zona es cuestionable. Cero agradable para caminar o comprar algo o incluso comer. Y, el desayuno del hotel es muy mejorable. No hay suficiente espacio para sentarse y hay poca variedad (aunque en USA parece ser común).

Al salir de la estación de Subway hay personas con mal aspecto, pero no molestan a los turistas, y hay presencia policial. Así que no Habría tanto problema con eso.

Era la ubicacion que necesitaba, cerca de la familia y muy bien conectado con los medios de transporte para llegar a cualquier parte de la ciudad de NY. El personal muy atento y el desayuno basico, el gimnasio cumplio para una estadia corta, quiza un poco pequeño si la estadia hubiese sido de mas dias. Las habitaciones amplias y limpias.
