The staff were amazing. So very helpful and sweet. It’s simply a gorgeous property.

Certain areas need some dusting love. The restaurant is beyond beautiful in the morning but for dinner seems a bit cavernous. Dim the lights and put sexy candles on the tables.

Perfect location for our first time in Otaru. Very helpful staff . Delicious breakfast !

古い建築物をリノベーションして良い雰囲気あるホテルだった．辺りは静かなのに，観光に便利な位置にあり，買い物や食事できる店も多く，コンビニも近くある． また，夕食，朝食とも楽しめる演出があり，夕方のフリーバー，屋上のテラスなど楽しめた．

仕方ないのですが，少々手狭に感じる事． エレベーターがレストランや清掃のバックヤードに近く裏方が見えてしまう事ですかね．人によっては気になるかも知れません．

全体的に綺麗でゆっくりと過ごせました。朝食が盛り沢山で、バーも含めとても楽しめました。

Historic building with a nice 4th floor outside seating terrace. Good location.

The size of the room was extremely misleading. We were prepared for a small room but not prepared for the bed, sofa, and two tables with no closet or space to put anything making the room unbearable to move around. We were forced to block the entry to the door with our luggage and move it every time we wanted to get out of the room or use the bathroom/shower. We had to use the coffee table for our other luggage.

五月連休、宿泊はしなかったのですが、ディナーだけ利用した。 お料理がレンジでチンではなく、本格的で、美味しかったので、次は宿泊してみたいと思ったのです。 夜ご飯も中々でしたが朝食には驚かされました。味は勿論ですが、素晴らしい演出でした。御礼

חוצפה של המלון שלא טרח להודיע שיש כרגע בניה צמוד למלון . תחושה של שהיה באתר בניה . בושה למלון ולאתר בוקינג שלא דורשים שקיפות מהמלון !

Un hotel all’occidentale, di grande fascino, gestito con cura e gentilezza. Se avete l’auto meglio arrivare per tempo, perché i comodi posti (a pagamento) sono pochi. Abbiamo comunque visto altri parcheggi in zona. A fine giugno abbiamo goduto del terrazzo al quarto piano, molto ben tenuto e piacevole (peccato che chiuda alle 10 pm).

la nostra camera, con letto king, era ottenuta unendo due grandi letti singoli, e usare i carica batterie e la luce non era comodissimo. A saperlo avremmo scelto la camera con due letti, ma siamo stati bene ugualmente.

Super conveniently located boutique hotel with a truly welcoming feel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful—service was excellent throughout our stay. What stood out most was breakfast: the high tea set is a fun and interesting experience, and it made the morning feel special rather than routine buffet. Another highlight was the evening offering—free wine available from 5–6:30 pm, which was a lovely touch and an easy way to unwind after a day out. Overall, this is the kind of place that gets the details right: great location, thoughtful hospitality, and standout small experiences that make the stay memorable.

The room layout definitely wasn’t for me. The space felt chronically small, and the queen bed is also on the smaller side, which made it feel crowded from the moment we entered. Overall, the room felt claustrophobic—there just wasn’t enough breathing room to feel comfortable or relaxed.

The hot water in the shower is difficult to fix the temperature. Either too hot or too cold

The carpet was dirty and smells strong like mildew, had to open the window for some time. Room was much smaller than the pics. Checked out early in the morning just to get out of this place.

チェックイン時に、室内の備品が破損した場合はクレジットカードから直接請求されるという説明があり、自分でホテルのタブレットにクレジットカード情報を入力する必要がありました。この手続きには少し不安を感じましたので、改善されるとより安心して宿泊できると思います。 これまでたくさんの日本のホテルに宿泊してきましたが、このような手続きは初めてでした。また、外国人の宿泊客に対して偏見があるようにも感じました。 また、部屋のテレビは今まで泊まったホテルの中で一番小さかったです。Apple TVは設置されていましたが、その分でもう少し大きなテレビを導入したほうが良いと思いました。テレビのサイズは、私のパソコンのモニターよりも小さいくらいでした。 唯一良かったと言えるのは、レストランの雰囲気がきれいだったことです。 During check-in, guests are informed that any damage to items in the room may result in direct charges to their credit card, and they are required to enter their credit card information on a tablet themselves. This process felt a bit uncomfortable, so I think improving it would help guests feel more secure during their stay. I have stayed at many hotels in Japan before, but I have never experienced a process like this. I also felt that there may be some bias toward foreign guests. Also, the TV in the room was the smallest one I have ever seen in a hotel. Although they provided an Apple TV, I think it would be better to spend that money on a larger television instead. The TV was even smaller than my computer monitor at home. The only thing I can really compliment is that the restaurant was quite pretty and nicely designed.

小樽の観光名所、お店通りが近く、徒歩圏内で見所がたくさんあります。 　ホテル自体も落ち着いた雰囲気で良かったです。

部屋バスはあるのですが、疲れを癒やすには温泉大浴場が一番です

バーテンダー 朝食をサーブする人 教育するか、入れ替えて欲しい ソムリエのバーテンダーの人が不在のため、このようなことが起きたと思う

朝食をサーブする人のサービスのクオリティが低い。 バーテンダーが白ワインを飲んだ同じグラスに赤ワインを注ごうとしたのが理解できない。

Beautiful historic building that is renovated while keeping architectural details like stained glass and high ceilings. Excellent service from all staff. The breakfast was also lovely and they had perks like free wine hour in the evening.

Rooms are slightly small, but it wasn’t a problem. Has everything you need.

古蹟改建的設計有許多巧思。 且酒吧很有質感，工作人員熱情有朝氣。 早餐澎派好吃。

今回4度目の宿泊。ワインのフリードリンクサービスがあり、BARに伺いました。そこでは宿泊客同士のコミュニケーションがあり思い出に残る良い時間となりました。

夜中(2:30頃)にトイレからカラカラとトイレットペーパーを使用する様な音がして目が覚め、しばらく眠れませんでした(考え過ぎかと思いますが怖かったです)

la struttura è molto accogliente ed elegante. le camere sono confortevoli e calde (fuori c'era ancora la neve) c'è un parcheggio a pagamento al costo di 1500 ¥. a due passi dalla Sakaimachi Street e di fronte ad un 7eleven con ATM.

forse un po' datata come struttura ma se proprio si volesse cercare il pelo nell'uovo. per il resto tutto è stato apprezzato e molto confortevole. consigliato.

入室して避難経路を確認したが、普通のホテルにある掲示が見当たらなかった。少し不安だった。シャワーの使い方、特に温度調整難しかった。シャワージェルの泡がなかなか消えなかった。排水が悪かった？換気扇が回っていたか不明。カーテンが重い、開けれない仕様？

Small but luxurious Art Deco-style hotel is perfectly situated in central Otaru, offering easy walking access to the city’s major sights. My room was comfortable and quiet, despite the compact "double" size. I especially liked the hotel bar, which offers a selection of local wines and well-crafted cocktails. Additionally, the unique breakfast service - presented in an elegant "Afternoon Tea" style - was both delicious and a highlight of the experience, making this a property I would visit again.

The journey to the hotel can be quite challenging depending on the season and your luggage. The walk from Otaru Station can be a significant struggle during winter due to accumulated snow. Furthermore, those of us accustomed to European standards for a "double" room may find them smaller than expected.

The mood of this place, it inspires nostalgia for Japan, like one of the cocktails I had the pleasure to enjoy, and the great service and breakfast. The room is big enough, comfortable and well decorated.

Loved the architecture as an Art Deco building than has been refurbished, it’s unique and elegant.

At check in needed to use a tablet to input all my details or full address etc as well as credit card number-bothersome .

Location was very convenient and walkable to good food and shopping. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The pyjamas provided were super comfortable. Laundry facilities on site made it very convenient.

It would have been helpful to have a la carte breakfast option rather than the set breakfast. I would have liked a cupboard to hang my clothes.

バーと朝食はとても良かった。

喫煙所が外な事とアメニティに入浴剤が無い事。 備付けのドライヤーの風量がかなり弱い事と予約してないと夕食を食べられる場所がホテル内に無く外出しなくてはならなくなる事。(つまみ程度ならあるが。)

Historic building was very pretty. Bar was exceptional. Rooms had very high ceilings and large windows.

Food (breakfast and dinner) was a little lackluster. While the delivery was elegant, the flavor was somewhat lacking. Some of that may be attributable to us visiting during winter, but everything tasted like it was prepared a few hours ahead of time -- nothing presented 'popped' or seemed very regional. Common spaces were occasionally closed without explanation.

Oerhört trevlig personal! Trevliga rum! Spännande god frukost även om vi kanske inte gillade alla japanska saker, men det fanns en bred variation och sconesen var fantastiska! Baren var också jättemysig och trevlig och tilltalande! Vi åt middag en kväll; Anniversary menu (nyårsdagen). Det var mycket trevligt och gott. (Det lokala rödvinet vi valde var dock lite Beaujolais-aktigt, vilket inte vi gillar). Till den fina personalen - Tusen tack för en jättefin vistelse hos er!

Det som skulle kunna förbättras är receptionen. Vi kom mitt i natten. Då var belysningen i receptionen tråkig och den gamla heltäckningsmattan framträdde på ett mindre tilltalande sätt. Receptionsdisken/bordet såg lite tråkigt ut. Jag tror att om man piffar upp den delen så skulle första intrycket slå högre!

玄関先が坂で滑りやすかったのでせめて敷地のアスファルトまでは雪かきをしてほしいなと思いました。 転けやすいのはわかっていたのですが唯一この入り口だけ で転倒しました。

Mid-point from Otaru station and to the main shopping street. However, it was near to the Otaru canal and Family mart is just across the road. Love the small balcony in the loft. Rooms were clean and beds were really comfortable. High tea breakfast was elegant and staff thoughtfully enquired about food allergies. Staff was tremendously helpful and nice.

Enjoyed the Loft room although the space was tight. Would be great to have more hangers to hang winter clothings and towels etc. especially when it accommodates up to 4 persons.

Beautiful decoration which fits to the town of Otaru. High ceiling. We slept so well. Walking distance to the canal, which we really appreciated at night to go to take pictures.

The wine tasting was a good idea but we wished to have a little snack on the side.. The breakfast was nicely presented but it lacks something warm.

조식이 모두 프렌치 웨스턴 스타일이라 일본식을 기대했던 상황에는 조금 아쉬움. 음식 퀄리티와 서비스는 최상.

Location is perfection. The hotel is a cute boutique hotel which has lots of character. It has parking on side, if you lucky, or I saw also right of the hotel also more parking available. The breakfast was amazing 10/10! Staff is helpful and friendly.

Room is very small. Also there was a weird vibrating sound coming from outside or somewhere in the hotel, which made we ill and it was difficult to sleep.

This is a beautiful Art Deco hotel within walking distance of all the historic sites in Otaru. The evening wine offering at the bar is excellent. The breakfast is also impressive.
