I liked the fact that workers smiled and said hi and that the facility was very clean
Did not have breakfast but I thought the $28 dollar price for the buffet was too much.
No complimentary water in the room and no complimentary coffee in the lobby
It’s nice and clean
The refrigerator did not work
It’s very close to Long Beach airport.
Too expensive. Overcharge too much for daily incidental. Mattress was not comfortable. Hotel restaurant does not accept cash. When it says you can pay at the property you can’t split the bill to pay upfront. You can only use one card. Refrigerator did not work. My Sister is a diabetic her insulin did not stay cold. She had to use the ice bucket. Maintenance came 3 times to fix the fridge and it still did not work. The shower was stopped up water almost overflowed out of the shower onto the floor. The sink had a slow drain. Maintenance found hair was stuck in the sink which caused the slow drainage. Maintenance did repair the shower and sink that was the only good thing.
The Atmosphere was great, nice restaurants, Great Gym, Swimming Pools. Spa like
Big Roaches in Front of Hotel Loose Toilet Paper Holder. Shower Door would not Stay Close Missing Handle for shower wand Attitude from Check-In Clerk!!! We let them know about the Bathroom issues the next day .....
Very friendly and helpful staff, located close to the airport which made an early morning flight very easy!
Location was centrally located to all of my destinations.
Main parking lot is too small. Many of the spaces are too narrow.
We recently stayed at this Marriot location (Long Beach) July 15, 2026 - July 19, 2026. We had two rooms on this trip that were conjoined for parents (one room) & children (conjoined room). While my wife and I went on an outing on Saturday we received an unfortunate barrage of texts and calls from my 16-year-old who was still in our room while we were gone. From about noon to about 12:45 my child was telling us that hotel housekeeping kept harassing her to open the door and let them clean the room even though she repeatedly told them that we do not need the rooms clean. We give our children explicit instructions not to let anyone in the rooms while we are gone and not to open the door for anyone other than us. Marriot cleaning staff refused to take no for an answer. They continued to bother my daughter for 30-45 minutes speaking through the security lock and knocking on the door. This did not end until one housekeeping person knocked on the conjoined room door (parents) which was also security locked. My daughter told them the same thing. They then stated that they spoke with my daughter's mother and said she was allowed into clean. My wife promptly showed me this text message. It was a blatant lie by the housekeeping staff!! My daughter opened the door and allowed them to clean the room based off that misinformation. I cannot think of the words to illustrate how unsettling this is for any parent. I called the hotel immediately and the first number I dialed automated sent me a text to call the hotel front desk 562-425-5210. I described the event to the 1st front desk representative. HOWEVER, in the meantime, Long Beach Marriott's front desk manager picked up, and he had the exact opposite level of concern that his direct report had. He repeatedly blamed us for not putting the do not disturb sign on the door. This is only partly valid. A single knock on the door and the occupant stating come back later is the fault of occupant because we did not put the DND sign on the door BUT 30 - 45 minutes of harassing a minor is never acceptable unless there is an emergency!!!! Even worse, making up a lie that a pervert would make up to enter a teenager's room like "I spoke to your mom, and she said I could come in" is even more not acceptable and grossly disturbing at minimum!!!! I notified the police and reported it with them. It seems like both the first front desk woman and the officer I spoke with understood the graveness of this situation, but the manager gentlemen could not grasp how serious this was. He stated that the cleaning crew was just doing their job and that this was my fault. Again, harassing minors and making up lies should NOT be a part of a cleaning crews job description. Is that how you train your housekeeping crew? I have several experiences at hotels that when a housekeeping knocks on the door, I will say something like "please come back later" or "no need for cleaning today" and they leave me alone whether I have a sign on the door or not. I have never been harassed at any facility EVER until this visit. I asked the front desk manager to try to view the situation from a parents' perspective and he refused. He continued to place blame on me. This is not right!
The location and "clean feel", friendly & helpful staff, and comfort of the room.
Not a thing!
Close to airport
Couldn’t make change for tipping.
The location of our room allowed us to watch the planes taking off and landing at the airport but it wasn't loud, couldn't hear anything really.

Clean
Location, close to airport
I enjoyed the Lobby and the Starbucks hours
The pool area, the heater was broken in the pool. I let the front desk know and no one ever went to fix it, the indoor pool was dirty and not heated. I chose this hotel specifically for the pool because it looked nice. I am renovating my home and needed a place to see the last three days, from my experience at other Marriott in California they’re gorgeous. This one did not satisfy me at all. I didn’t appreciate paying the money I did and not being able to enjoy the pool. The hours of the restaurant are horrible was not happy with this. Marriott makes Long Beach look bad comparing to other Marriott around California.
I liked that a restaurant was attached and this is why we chose this hotel. It was also very clean.
Since we didn't have queen beds, but 18 year old son wanted to make a bed on the floor to have more room. We were told no when called for more blankets and pillows. When paying what we did for this room I'd expect to get a couple more pillows and comforters--very disappointing. And, Wi-fi is not included, this is also disappointing. For this price point and no continental breakfast not getting extra pillows, blankets and wi-fi, seems ridiculous. We won't be back.
Cleanliness, great amenities.

Location was convenient.
Sheets had blood stains on them and comforter had water stains on it. It wasn’t very clean. The pool also had a bunch of leaves in it.
I’m deducting a star for their mini-fridges (coolers) that don’t stay on 24/7. The coolers in the rooms only stay cool for 2 hours at a time and 8 hours overnight. We had medication for my son that needed to stay refrigerated. I ended up buying a mini-fridge from Target to keep it refrigerated. Other than that the battery lock on our door died and had to be replaced. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. The stuff is friendly enough, even when they were informing me that they had no actually refrigerators and they couldn’t store the medication for us (not that I would do that). The only rude staff was a young man at the Starbucks in the lobby. Refused to acknowledge me even when I stood at the counter and made eye contact for thirty seconds. He started making a drink for my wife who is allergic to dairy and when I tried to tell him how she likes it he said he knew how to make it in a condescending tone. I just walked away. The manager made it up to us with free beverages and muffins. Just be aware of the fridge situation. I don’t know if that’s a SoCal thing or a Marriot policy, but they’re claiming it’s for economical purposes yet I’m sure that won’t be reflected in the bill.
The shuttle doesn’t start early enough to make the first flight out of the airport.
Nice and modern
No Jacuzzi hot tub
Everything everybody’s very nice. Everything was very clean. Location was great.
Nothing to say, everything was great
The room was perfect with amenitiies, a comfy beds and pillows, the bathroom had all essentials and the view to the LB Airport is awesome. The staff was kindled and helpful. Parking was complimentary and nice bar in the base floor.

I really liked that there was front and back parking. The hotel was close to shopping centers. I like that there was employees outside that would help you unload or load your car.
There was a party going on so by the time I got there there was no parking in the front. I drove around the front parking lot for about 30 minutes to be able to park. Then when I found a parking spot I literally had to squeeze into the spot reversing. After I parked my car it was hard to get out because of the 2 cars on the side of me. After I checked into the hotel and got my stuff out of my car I moved my car to the back parking lot.
Great staff!
This was not our first time staying at this property, but it will most likely be our last. Upon check in there always seems to be a front desk associate in training (which speaks to a lack of employee retention), and often this leads to a host of problems. Lord help you if you have a question that you need correctly answered. The rest of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately the check in agent sets the tone for the entire stay. The M Club has canned soft drinks and water available, but the cans are not refrigerated (like every other M Club I have ever used), yet there was no ice available. Having to trek across the lobby with our luggage in tow to go ask the bartender at the lobby bar for cups of ice defeats the purpose of having Marriott status high enough to obtain M Club privileges. Please read this next section carefully if you are a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member or above...I am going to go back and check my records, but on at least my last two stays I was asked if I would like the 1,000 elite bonus points or a $10 amenity credit upon check in. Given that I have M Club access, I always choose the 1,000 Bonvoy points. On both stays I stated that I wanted the points, which, according to Justin, a front desk manager, should have been credited immediately, and both times I did not receive them. It has taken FOUR phone calls to both Marriott and Long Beach Marriott, yet still I have only received the 1,000 point bonus for ONE of the stays. This is beyond frustrating, but now it is a matter of principle, particularly because I seriously doubt that this has happened exclusively to me. If you stay here, I implore you to check your Bonvoy points balance both prior to and after check in is complete via the Bonvoy app, but prior to check out to make sure you get your elite bonus points. It is much, much more difficult to correct this error after check out. Given that this hotel chooses to waste my time with this points nonsense, I will no longer waste my dollars with them.
My refrigerator wouldn’t get cold, had to call the front desk about this issue.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this venue which was minutes from LGB, professional and attentive staff (from check in, the concierge staff, the restaurant staff to our room service), and looked like newly renovated and comfortable rooms with a cool view of the LGB airport. All around great time had by us staying at this conveneient hotel. The room as stated earlier was stellar, the outdoor pool was fun and comfortable and the food here was scrumptious! Shout out to: Katherine, Ivan, Justin, Citlali, Juan, Aleena, Elizabeth and the front desk gentleman that I mistook for Ivan, the concierge ladies and doorman I didn’t get a chance to catch their names they were so busy to stop and ask. To the GM Imran, you hired many professional and friendly staff all around this hotel, well done and hire more personnel like them!
The beds were amazingly comfortable. Room service was delicious.

The staff went out of their way to be very helpful to the 60+ team members whom I attended a weeklong meeting with at this property. I really enjoyed my last morning, up at 5:45 waiting for my airport pick up and Edward at the front desk, went out of his way to get me a coffee and brought me back a delicious latte which I really appreciated at that hour in the morning. Clean property, great location.
The property is well maintained and the shuttle service is quick and spacious. The Mexican restaurant on site had good food. The pool area was nice and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Not a walkable area close to stores or other restaurants and a bit far from the World Cruise terminal. You either have to get a taxi or Uber to get there. No free breakfast.
Location is super convenient, lobby is great, pool area is nice, despite airport noise. The beds are SO comfortable!
Just a bummer not to be on the airport side. We’ve stated before and been able to watch the planes come and go (and marvel at the great soundproofing) - will request next time

It was clean, the staff was pleasant and helpful.
The power toilet flushed when it wanted to. Sometime 15 to 30 minutes after the button was pushed. We did notify the staff at check out.
Expensive A different restaurant offering more selection, varied menu.
I stayed here for one night for a business trip and I thought the hotel was great. The staff was friendly, my room was a beautifully renovated room that was clean and quiet. I wasn't there long enough to check out the pool or the gym. I was hesitant to book this hotel based on some of the reviews, but I thought the hotel was great.
We stayed 3 nights, had a large room with a very comfy bed and a great shower.
Maybe a little more bathroom counter space would've been nice.
The room and facilities is great and lovely.
The price is much more than the average and because of that, I probably won't be returning.
Hotel never processed my refund to booking.com
Location
Staff, overcharged my card twice during my stay
Location
No spa ,air conditioning too cold in lobby
Besides the excellent location (near the airport), this property was stylish along with being very clean. The Starbucks and restaurant were very comfortable, friendly with good food and drinks. We were pleasantly impressed overall!
The restaurant could have opened earlier.
They took funds out of my account when I booked online with booking and I still haven’t been reimbursed properly
Clean. Helpful staff. Upscale.
Only one towel rack in bathroom. They need to install at least three towel hooks by the shower so the towels can hang to dry. They want guests to use the towels more than once so the towels should be hung up to dry between use. There are NO drawers to place clothes so you can’t unpack your clothes. Bad, bad idea. Bathroom sink area is tiny. Hardly any room to place toiletries. Bad design.
The lady waiters were very nice and polite. Amazing service
FINALLY, a hotel that looks like does it the picture. My only gripe is that they don't offer shuttle to the cruise port.
Nice room and bathroom. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient and close to CSULB.
The only thing was that it didn’t have a complementary breakfast. Staff was nice, it was clean, bed was amazingly comfortable. Easy access to all the things we wanted to do.
I don’t like leaving poor reviews at all. I’ve worked in retail when I was younger and try not to spit on those that have to deal with hospitality. That being said, our stay was either a comedy of errors or this place really does deserve their poor ratings like previous folks have stated. Hotel property: the m club is closed for renovations which wasn’t listed anywhere on the website and the outdoor pool is closed for remodeling. For some odd reason the room looked like it had been recently updated but smelled of syrup. The rooms were clean so I give it 2/5. Staff: front desk appears apathetic and no desire to help or really cater to the customer. Our first room, we found with the door open. We went downstairs to see if we could get another room and the front desk just looked at us and said housekeeping must have left it open…eventually he did give us a new room but the initial statement was a little concerning. We have bonvoy platinum and they denied a late checkout with no explanation or apology. Cleaning staff did seem polite 1/5 rating. Parking: free 5/5 This hotel should be better, but I really think the front desk staff lacks empathy and service. If you’re bonvoy spend your time and points somewhere else, you won’t be treated as such. You’ll end up leaving why you even invest in the Marriott brand.

The who experience was awesome
Food was just ok. Starbucks breakfast one day served a cold sausage and egg sandwich.
Breakfast in the restaurant-service excellent-Food below average. Stringy under-cooked scrambled eggs for $12.00. Pitiful.
