Great location, helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, great price too. I love this hotel and they’ll continue to get my business whenever I’m in Penticton :)

It was run down and we had ants in our bathroom which they didn’t seem to care about. They said they come in with peoples pets and sorry about that.

My wife liked that it was close to the beach and the room was clean. The staff were nice. She was thankful that after 2 nights she requested a move and was moved to the second floor in the middle so she didn't hear the exit door shutting or the smoke coming in.

This room was booked for my wife alone. The room she was in was on the bottom floor right next to the exit so people were coming and going in all day and night taking their dogs out for bathroom breaks and going for smokes and vapes. Every time some one would go out the door you would hear it shut. She had her room windows open as she likes it that way but she had to shut the windows because people would go out the door and stand in front of her window and smoke and vape and the smoke would go in the room. People would not go and sit on the bench that was provided across the laneway to smoke. They would just stand outside the door in front of her room and smoke and talk on their phones. She had to get up at one point and bang on the window to one lady. After being woken every time the exit door shut she got up to see what all the door noise was about. One lady was bringing in her dog at 4:56 a.m. after taking it out. Apparently she was on the "dog floor".

The rooms are old. The bathrooms and rooms need to be upgraded and the carpets were very poor looked like it needs cleaning.

The value for money was great. It’s an older property but is well kept and has a lot of facilities for everyone to enhance your stay. Was surprised to see the indoor hockey rink and pickle ball court.

The bathroom was dirty and the tub looked so stained & dirty I didn’t shower.

The location of this property is pretty good, easy to get to.

The hotel is a bit tired and the air conditioning was pretty noisy.

I loved the location! It's a 10 minute walk from Lake Okanagan, 15 minute walk from the downtown core for restaurants and shops, and the room rate was great for its location. The hotel also has two restaurants inside if you don't want to travel far. Denny's (family friendly) and Bar One (19+). Lastly, a pool and hot tub, plus workout room and hockey/pickleball area. Lynn was very nice and friendly. Thank you so much Lynn! Lots of parking too!

The only thing was the room needed some TLC with the wallpaper and dusting on the windows, but that is fine. Those are very minor things.

Hotel needs renovations

Location is good, plenty of free parking on the property, good service from the front desk.

The queen bed was very soft. No freezer within the fridge. The walls and ceiling were quite thin, and one could hear the occupants above walking around. Room was also on the ground floor, and cars drove by right outside our window all evening. Ants were found crawling around in the bathroom.

We were in a king room on 2nd floor which was in the corner next to stairwell ,every time someone went thru the door the door banged shut and was very annoying and woke us up in the morning , we were on Vacation and wanted to sleep in

Location was very good and convenient to the lake and downtown. Bed was comfy. Room was quiet. I liked that we were allowed to bring our bicycles into the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dish soap would have been nice - none was provided. Small thing...

I am a new mom and I needed a place to pump the manager was very accommodating and allowed me to use the facility before we were able to check in. Very thoughtful!

Check in with Lynn was fast, friendly & fabulous! Our room was on the first floor which was ideal! Had we chosen to swim in the indoor pool, which we didn’t, I’m sure it would have been great. Our room was huge, clean & comfortable. Spacious bathroom & super coffee maker! TV was an ample size, strong wifi and A/C & really comfortable beds. A Denny’s is attached to the hotel which makes a hungry tourist grateful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we visit our friends!

Front desk staff was friendly and attentive. They helped us immediately with our need for towels and robes (which were missing from our suite.

We were missing bar soap, towels, and robes in our room. Also, we go to the Sandman frequently, and the hot tub lights have been broken for over half a year.

Primary reason for staying at this hotel was for the hot tub, however it was broken during the stay. The hotel environment/ hallways were loud. We had stayed previously in a king room and it was the size of a typical hotel room, however this one was so small. Barely any room to simply walk around the bed, had ?half a sectional thrown in to it that was large and bulky and just took up more space. The room was on the main floor with 2 walls of windows, had to keep the blinds closed all hours to prevent people from looking in. Definitely not worth the money and was quite disappointed compared to our previous stay.

Good location . Attached to Denny’s restaurant was convenient for breakfast. Facility was clean. Staff very friendly.

The noise of the kids in the pool of Friday night. The size of the beds and the hair drier set off the fire alarm

Location was excellent. Was near the venue I needed to attend. A place to dine was on location. A service station was nearby. Bed was comfortable.

Around 5 am to 6:30 am., a room above me started slamming drawers, and sounding like they were dragging furniture around the room non-stop. A little early in the morning for that kind of noise I feel.

Beds were uncomfortable. Ruts worn in to mattress so it was like sleeping in a ditch.

The amount if cigarette butts by the back door is disgusting, its also a fire hazard - just put a bucket if sand

The room was clean and on the first floor. The noise from the vehicles passing was very minimal. The beds were comfortable. Check in and out was quick and enjoyed the fact that it had a restaurant attached.

The window curtain was torn. There was a large stain on the hall carpet outside our room.

The elevator was terrifying and we never took it after the first night. The drain in the shower didn't drain so we had dirty water up to our ankles when we showered. The time our room was cleaned, housekeeping didn't wash our drinking glasses and didn't wash the bathtub, which was gross from the dirty water.

Did not know there was breakfast so And Dennys restaurant had half hour wait so left to look for food

Cell service was on and off again and couldn't communicate with other people staying in hotel and front desk was blaming our service but then everyone was questioning

Had a long drive to get there and did not have to go looking for the hotel. bed and room was good. Location was good for what we needed.

Nice to have the Dennis attached to the place. No going to look for some place to eat.

The hotel is looking run down in the rooms …. carpets need to be replaced .. furniture and bathrooms need to be updated, especially for the money that you’re charging.
