Clean and breakfast ok

We were directed to go to a certain door. Once arriving there that particular door was not working properly however another person staying there helped with that. Then we moved our vehicle around to the front and that worked much better.

Great big room with two Queen beds. The family enjoyed the outdoor pool.

No elevator (lift) so carrying suitcases up stairs. Noisy air conditioner in the room. Considering this hotel is in the Okanagan it is crazy that they provided tinned fruit salad at breakfast and not fresh fruit. Breakfast was disappointing. Also pre peeled hard boiled eggs :(

Hotel is clean, Bed was comfortable, outdoor pool area was nice. Not the nicest hotel in penticton but definitely the best bang for your buck that I’ve found.

Room was large. Beds on the smaller size for 2 people sharing and a bit too firm. Woke up sore. Location to lake and other things was good.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Fresh fruit was none existent unless you call a can of fruit cocktail in a bowl acceptable. It looks like the same bowl put out every day. The automatic toaster burns the toast. The juice machine out of service. The " HOT" food was awful. The hash browns barely cooked and cool, The sausage was pink, looked uncooked properly and had a really weird taste. Eggs standard box eggs in round pucks. Not sure how well fridge kept things cold as yogurt was not thick but runny when opened. Everything went to the garbage and the 2nd day we never even ate there. We spent money to eat out. We book hotels that provide breakfast included but this wasn't value added. VERY Disappointed!!!!

The room was modern and clean, which I appreciated. The breakfast was good and offered a decent selection. The bed was reasonably comfortable, not great, but comfortable enough for a good night's sleep.

Unfortunately, there were several aspects of my stay that were disappointing. The check-in process was not a great start. Our room was not ready on time, and while delays can happen, there was very little acknowledgement or apology. A more welcoming and customer-focused attitude would have made a big difference. When we arrived in the room, the shower gel dispenser was almost empty. A replacement bottle was left for us after I reported it, but it was never properly installed in the dispenser, even after the room was serviced. Housekeeping: at around 4:30 pm, our room had still not been cleaned. Reception told me this was normal as rooms could be serviced until 6:00 pm. Housekeeping eventually arrived, but the delay meant I was getting ready for a dinner reservation, so the bathroom could not be cleaned properly and I ended up running late. One other thing to be aware of is that the hotel does not have an elevator. This was my mistake, as I hadn't read the property details carefully before booking. Our room was on the second floor, and because I have an issue with my left leg, the stairs were a challenge. The hotel was fully booked, so changing rooms wasn't an option. Thankfully, it was only one flight of stairs, but I would recommend reading the property details carefully before booking if stairs could be an issue for you. Overall, the lack of attention to detail and the way these issues were handled left a disappointing impression.

The Days Inn is a five minute walk to the beach , lazy river excursion, family fun park and a ten minUte walk to the Penticton golf course. The Wings restaurant had the best wings I've ever had- cooked perfectly and so many flavours. All the hotel staff were super helpful and friendly but esp Doug at the front desk. The old part has rooms that open onto the courtyard and pool area where the newer part near the front desk are larger rooms with higher ceilings. We’ve stayed in both. Our bed was super comfortable. Not too hard, not too soft. Just right. Breakfast was waffles, doughnuts, cereals, toast, eggs, hash browns, sausage, yogurt etc. A good spread. Indoor and outdoor pools and an indoor hot tub too!

They could use more lounge chairs in the courtyard. I think return customers bring their own as some people enjoy the days at the beach nearby. They could use another waffle maker as the line-up was crazy long for waffles every morning.

Doug at the front desk, trying his best during peak times and was still friendly towards everyone.

We were quite unhappy starting at check in. Poor Doug was trying his best, but he was alone, trying to get 10+ guests checked in. We left and came back later and he was still rushed off his feet, alone. There was another staff member in the office not coming to help him. Next, the floor in our room had seeds and dirt on the floor which I cleaned up. The bathtub plug was broken and the faucet hanging off the wall. The toilet was also quite wobbly. The balcony outside the room seemed quite angled, like it had been repaired several times incorrectly, but felt slanted like you were on a decline. The breakfast room had dirty tables everywhere. The person working was rarely in the room. We will not be back.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke and chemicals. Was feeling very ill when in this room for a short time. Bathroom was dirty and tub plug was broken and full of hair. Shower curtain was stained. We changed hotels as quickly as possible. For 400 a night this was barely a 70 dollar a night hotel. No sink to wash hands in the bathroom. Sink was next to the beds. No closet or dresser. First floor room and dirty hallway carpets stained with food.

The hotel room featured a comfortable bed and a clean, spacious environment. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Additionally, a free continental breakfast was included. For families planning a fun day out, Coyote Cruises is located just across the way.

The complimentary breakfast was simple but convenient, and the renovated room was well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker.

The room layout was quite unusual. Our bathroom did not have a sink or a mirror; instead, the sink was located next to the bed. Personally, I found this uncomfortable, as I don't think most guests would want to wash their face, brush their teeth, or use the sink right beside the bed. During our stay, we used the kettle provided in the room, and the power went out. When we informed the front desk, we were told that this happens when the kettle is plugged into that particular outlet. If this is a known issue, I believe guests should be informed in advance, or the kettle should not be placed next to an outlet that causes the power to trip. It was frustrating to experience a problem that seemed to be already known. The indoor pool and hot tub did not appear very clean, and both were empty during our visit. While I cannot know the reason, they did not give us confidence to use them. Overall, the hotel was adequate as a place to sleep, but it did not feel like a relaxing vacation stay. The facilities were quite basic, and we found ourselves spending as much time as possible outside the hotel rather than enjoying the property.

No elevator. The outside pool doesn’t open until 9 am!!!! When asked why the front desk attendant said it was because the maintenance man starts work at 9 and that’s when he checks the pool !?!?! The pool could be tested at any regular schedule. As a 25 year employee of Delta Hotels- this is the lamest explanation I’ve ever heard. We have stayed at many hotels and motels for decades and have never had such poor facilities. The indoor pool and hot tub didn’t open until 10 am!?!?!?!

The “non smoking” rooms reeked of smoke!! We didn’t get the room we reserved..had to complain and show proof before they would move us!

The room was very clean and looked good. The bedding was good quality. I also thought the pool and courtyard were lovely. The free EV charger was a bonus for sure.

The bed was very hard so it was uncomfortable. It would have been lovely to have real cups and a few utensils in the room. It's nice that there's coffee but how do you stir it without spoons or even stir sticks. The breakfast was not good - weird eggs, pale sausages that were not edible. I liked the waffles but there was a poor selection of toppings.

No gate towards the beach for pedestrians. Have to walk around the long way and there's no sidewalk, Have to walk on a bunch of rocks that can twist your ankle. Makes the beach seem further than it actually is.

The best part was the rooms backed on to the yard and pool area. My kids loved it and played outside with friends for hours at a time. Room was comfortable and clean

Thin walls. Could hear people talking at 6am one morning and could hear snoring from an adjacent room. Not the end of the world, but annoying.

We had a room in the back corner, ground floor courtyard, and were right beside an exit door so no privacy - guests coming and going throughout the day to get to their rooms

Our friends had an issue with their smoke detector. It was beeping when we arrived. Maintenance replaced it, but then it started beeping again at 2am. They were not impressed. A staff member at the front desk said the next day that they were having issues with that room. Then why did you put us in there?

The breakfast was adequate with a good enough selection to eat.

The hot breakfast ie. sausage, egg & hash brown could be a bit hotter and not just barely warm. Had the boiled eggs which needed a bit of mayo which was not available.

The hotel charged for the full stay and yet the room had been paid for through Booking.com. This is taking a week to try and sort it out and receive a credit. Also the room was built or refurbished with a slanted floor!! Not great for a person with balance issues as I have.

Location was close to Convention Centre - the Staff was very accommodating (relocated us to the main floor and there was no issue cancelling my last day). Complimentary breakfast provided good value.

Some issues with flushing our toilet - would like more space to hang / store some of my clothing given we were on site for 5 days.

Rooms and hallways have old carpet that detracts from the motel and its feeling of cleanliness. But overall the rooms and premises are clean and well maintained.

Breakfast was terrible, hot items were all under cooked. The rooms floor was filthy. Hotels that use vinyl plank instead of carpet should understand that they may get better wear from the vinyl plank, but they sacrifice that for noise and extra maintenance. Vinyl plank floors have probably not been mopped for weeks, just vacuumed which made our socks and feet black when you walked across the floors.

Easy check in and check out. Decent breakfast. Nice pool and lounge area. Good value as hotels along the beach were hundreds more.

WiFi warned about low security, that's always comforting. Some of the vending machines were labeled "Out Of Order". Sound proofing between floors could have been better.

The outdoor pool was very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the lawn chairs visiting with family. Breakfast included was great. Lots of choices. Very nice to have a fridge in the room. Enjoyed the clean vinyl plank flooring in the room (no carpet).

The fan in the bathroom was very loud. We selected the hotel for it's proximity to the main beach but the fencing around the parking lot didn't allow us to exit the property to the north side toward the beach. Could you have a gate that was unlocked during daylight? The waffle iron broke and I really wanted to try them. They looked very tasty.

The pool and spa times could be extended to 10 p.m. for the summer. We came late and did not get good use of them and were asked to leave at 9 p.m.

My kids really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, as they always do. The good thing about this chain is that it's consistent, so when we're at a loose end for accomodation you can always rely on it to deliver what you expect. Friendly reception, near a restaurant and clean room.

We had no sleep as the air con was making an horrendous noise all night, we turned it off but it was a very hot room. The fridge also made a loud noise all night so we were very tired. Cannot comment on breakfast as we left early.

Pool hot tube was not properly maintained my daughter and boyfriend got sick from fumes poison control was called might have to get medical check when we return home as my daughters lungs still burn and boyfriends chest was compromised. Ant problems in suite, gym equipment was broken, water machine empty, short staffed.
