Das Frühstück war sehr gut,das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich,vor allem Klejdi, der sehr zuvorkommend war und mehrere Sprachen konnte

Das Personal vom Kooperationsbagno (Strand) des Hotels war sehr unfreundlich, weshalb wir an einen familiär geführten Bagno gegangen sind , der auch noch billiger war

Super Lage. Sauber trotz altes Gebäude. Grosszügiges Frühstückbüffet. Gefüllte Minibar.

Wenn man im Zimmer ist ist es hellhörig. Man hört der nachbar husten. Man hört wen jemand die Storen hoch und runter fährt. Man hört wen sich jemand in den Korridor aufhält. Wen man einen Tiefgaragen Platz reserviert muss man den Autoschlüssel bei der Reception lassen, ansonsten bekommt man keinen Garagen Platz. Die Tiefgarage ist ziemlich eng und man bekommt kein persönlichen Platz. Den Schlüssen muss man deshalb abgeben damit bei bedarf die Autos umparkiert werden können.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, insbesondere an der Rezeption. Wir durften unser Zimmer sogar zwei Stunden früher beziehen. Das Hotel ist schön, und das Restaurant bietet hervorragendes Essen. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und bot eine schöne Auswahl.

Wir hatten über Booking.com bewusst ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht und dafür einen Aufpreis bezahlt. Bei der Ankunft stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass diese Zimmerkategorie gar nicht verfügbar war mit Balkon. Das Hotel hat sich zwar sehr bemüht und uns ein Upgrade angeboten auch ohne Balkon aber grösseres Zimmer, trotzdem war es enttäuschend, nicht das gebuchte Zimmer zu erhalten mit Balkon. Hier müsst ihr definitiv die Zimmer Angebote bei Booking bearbeiten und euch mit dem Hotel Sina Astor abstimmen.. sehr schade

È stata una bellissima esperienza, tutto perfetto. Tornerò sicuramente al Sina Astor.

Ero già stata molti anni fa in questa struttura, la posizione e i servizi che offre sono fantastici. La colazione è ricca di proposte sia per la parte dolce che per la parte salata, buonissima davvero! Il personale alla reception è gentile e molto disponibile.

Purtroppo abbiamo avuto problemi con il personale che prepara le camere. Si sono dimenticati di mettere il terzo letto, pur avendo prenotato una tripla. Quando siamo entrati nella camera abbiamo trovato una matrimoniale. Inoltre fra gli asciugamani che hanno portato in aggiunta per la terza persona, ce n’era uno sporco che probabilmente era caduto per terra. La mattina seguente la signora che pulisce le stanze è entrata con la chiave senza bussare, mentre eravamo in stanza. Attenzioni che non possono mancare in una struttura come questa, e per altro certamente non economica.

I hated the fact that we couldnt access the beach. It states 'opposite the beach' on the website, but I was not prepared to pay 27 euros to to merely go and have a swim. I had no desire to sit on the beach - the temperature was 39 degrees. but felt it was very misleading - and indeed inaccurate- to say there was a beach

Siamo arrivati il giorno 10 agosto, avevamo prenotato una stanza nella depandance dell’albergo, ci hanno assegnato la camera 106, al terzo piano senza ascensore, per un totale di 53 gradini. Nella prima descrizione della camera non viene evidenziato che sia senza ascensore solo all’interno della descrizione della camera lo dice, quindi per un 4 stelle mi sembra un po superficiale, ci sistemiamo nella camera e iniziano le avventure, gli asciugamani che venivano buttati in terra venivano ripiegati e rimessi negli appositi spazzi senza essere cambiati, il letto non è mai stato cambiato le lenzuola, la pulizia lascia molto a desiderare, in camera c’erano dei fancoil per il condizionamento sporchi e praticamente a pezzi che facevano rumore. Il terzo giorno siamo rientrati alle 14 in camera e i letti ancora non erano stati fatti, abbiamo chiamato dicendo che avremmo riposato fino alle 16 e sono comunque venuti due volte ad aprire la porta per rifare la camera. La colazione abbondante ma con prodotti scadenti succhi di frutta che sanno di integratori, cornetti surgelati, bibite calde che lasciano a desiderare. Non mi sono mai permesso di fare recensioni così brutte, ma per lavoro giro molti alberghi e non mi sono mai ritrovato ad un trattamento del genere. Sicuramente suggerirei una revisione delle stelle da parte dell’ente competente perché non basta avere le basi richieste per essere un buon albergo ma bisogna anche saper accogliere le persone nel modo più professionale possibile.

I camerieri Emanuele e Kleidi, gentilissimi , personale da tenersi stretto. Ottimo il servizio in camera. Camera con vista mare strepitosa, abbiamo goduto dell'eclissi da una posizione privilegiata.

Il bar aperto solo dalle 17, tenuto conto che non c'è nemmeno il ristorante aperto a pranzo.

La stanza è la cosa che ci è piaciuta di più. La colazione abbondante e buona. La pulizia e la cortesia di tutto il personale.

In short: a disaster. Here is my review of our stay at Hotel Sina Astor in Viareggio from August 5–9, 2026: Never again We checked into Hotel Sina Astor. We were assigned a room on the first floor and were told no other rooms were available. The room was terrible and certainly not worth 4 stars. Dirty walls, floors covered in scuff marks from luggage, a tiny balcony, an outdated bathroom, and all the wooden elements—the bed, the doorframes—showed severe signs of wear and tear. A disaster that wasn't worth even half of the €281. My wife went to the front desk to complain about the room's condition. Apparently, this was nothing new to Alessandro, as he quickly offered a replacement room: a Junior Suite on the 5th floor. This room was spacious with a somewhat renovated bathroom. However, on the balcony—the floor of which was covered in dirt—stood a table with a rusty frame, seemingly uncleaned for a long time. The wardrobe door couldn't be opened because the sliding track was broken. But at least it was spacious. The next surprise was the breakfast: the room resembled a cafeteria with cheap tables and chairs, and the selection wasn't even worthy of a 1-star hotel. Only 3 types of yellow cheese, a miserable yogurt selection, a very limited bread choice, and an extremely sparse selection of salads and vegetables lowest quality and tasteless fruits. In short: completely unworthy of a 4-star hotel. The rudeness of Ms. M. was the final straw. Never again, Sina Astor Hotel.

Magari la mancanza del balcone,ma forse solo perché avendo scelto la camera piccola non era possibile. È comunque stata una carenza superficiale.

Siamo usciti al mattino alle 9,00 e siamo rientrati alle 17,00 e al nostro rientro la camera non era stata rifatta, dopo nostra segnalazione al portiere sono trascorsi oltre 40 minuti dopo un ulteriore sollecito per avere almeno degli asciugamani puliti. Incompetenza completa del personale

Problème de fuite d eau dans la première chambre, la deuxième chambre problème de baignoire pas étanche et coule à côté inondations de la salle de bain à chaque douche, propreté faible pour un hôtel de 4 étoiles. Et très bruyant même avec les fenêtres fermées ont dirait que les voitures était à côté.

I have returned to the Sina Astor which is my special treat and the place I most look forward to all year. Each year I am warmly greeted by Abele who is an absolute gem. He organises our logistics perfectly and literally cannot do enough for us. I honestly believe he is at the very heart of the reason why I return to the Sina Astor every year. Abele is complimented alongside the excellent reception staff - Elena, with her bright smile, Marina- an absolute darling, Alessandro, not forgetting Oscar (at the night the desk). The hotel’s has 5 star staff that work together like clockwork to ensure all needs are met and questions answered. Elena anticipated the need for my children to watch the World Cup before I even asked. What a team! The room was beautiful spacious, beds sumptuous and rooms cleaned regularly. The breakfast staff especially Martina were excellent with a perfect array of choice to cater for all diets. The hotel’s is perfectly located. I cannot compliment this hotel enough. I will be dreaming of the Sina Astor until I return next year.

The Hotel is central in Viareggio with all amenities, including good restaurants just across the road, plus a Spanish restaurant seconds away. Reception is light & airy, there is a restful mezzanine area just above which also houses a modern gym, giving access to a good size pool. The Hotel has an excellent, large beach & plentiful sunbeds, all included in the price. Our room was fine, with a great shower. The maid service was spot on, doing a very good job indeed. We opted for breakfast & evening meal. The breakfasts were splendid with much choice available, including fresh fruits, charcuterie & the usual hot options: however the pancetta/bacon was far too well done for our taste. There was also a range of special orders available including coffees, shakes, egg dishes, etc. The evening meals comprised of anti-pasti, primo, secondi & dolci. Although the cold dishes, including a lovely pancetta cota, were very good, the salads were a little underwhelming, but they are standing for quite a while. Both the first & main courses are a fish lovers delight, although not my partners unfortunately, apart from an excellent ravioli & the best lamb chops we have ever tasted (& I don't like lamb!) However the caposala, Matilde, especially, organised fresh burgers & steak, for my partner when needed . She & her male counterpart were supported by a friendly set of waiters & waitresses, with Dario standing out. All my main courses were very nice indeed, & very plentiful, including excellently cooked vegetables. We don't eat desert unfortunately. All in all a great & enjoyable week! We'll be back!!

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und konnte gut Auskunft geben. Der Frühstück Raum sehr großzügig vom Platz. Es lohnt sich mit Terrasse/Meerblick zu buchen!

Gewisse Teile und Details sind wie fast überall in Italien in die Jahre gekommen. Ringhörig, aber dies störte uns nicht.

Some good, some bad hence the 3 stars. The good. The staff; they were friendly, helpful, welcoming etc. The air con in the room worked really well, the bed was super comfy, there was enough wardrobe space, powerful water supply and very spacious bathroom. The bad. The gym; we checked beforehand as a gym for us is paramount. What we hadn't allowed for was old and broken equipment, lack of air con, location. The saddle on the one upright bike was stuck in one position; we mentioned it straight away but it still wasn't fixed by the time we left 5 days later. Ditto the multi gym. Again not fixed by the time we left. The gym is part of the indoor swimming pool area; no door separates the two areas only a shower and small walkway. As people left the swimming pool area with wet feet, the gym floor then became wet and very slippery. There were two very old air con units in the gym area but only one worked. It is nowhere near powerful enough for the gym space (plus the windows with the sun blaring through) so working out was quite unpleasant. The good. Our flight home was cancelled at very short notice and the hotel were able to let us keep our room for the two extra days. The bad. Our new flight was an evening one and we needed to be out of our room by 11am: the facilities for showering/changing were not efficiently air conditioned and being below ground were stuffy and unpleasant. The good. The balcony. The bad. Beware the hotel's recommendation for the beach club that they have organised a "special rate" with. We found other beach clubs just the same and cheaper (we really liked Alfea. Full of locals. Staff lovely and friendly. Sandwiches tasty and reasonably priced). The good. Location. Easy to find. Parking easy and plentiful (when we were there in June). Small supermarket just 5 mins walk away. Beach directly opposite. Easy drive from Pisa and Florence. The bad. We had the 'Do not disturb' sign on our door but a member of staff knocked and said he needed to check or mini bar!!!!! Would I stay there again? No but that is primarily because of the gym situation. We met a couple who stay there regularly because the staff are so lovely.

Il personale al ricevimento terrificante ci sta un signore che secondo me aveva 80 anni… meglio se sta a casa,non è addato per stare al pubblico!!! Poi mi hanno preso i soldi dalla carta 2 volte, per fortuna mi sono accorta e sono ritentata per fargli vedere la mia applicazione sul telefono… che era così!! Poi alla fine mi hanno rimesso i soldi… vabbè detto ciò non lo consiglierei!!

The location and the staff were amazing. We had a great trip with our two little kids and they loved it and thought it was super fancy, and it was. Also the beds were comfortable for all, which can be a struggle. Overall, we're going back next year!

La colazione era ottima, sia per varietà sia per la qualità dei cibi proposti! La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, vicinissima al mare, alla pineta e sulla passeggiata di Viareggio. Abbiamo usufruito anche del parcheggio disponibile a pagamento all'interno dell'hotel. Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante dell'hotel, che vanta una vetrata vista mare. Il menù non era molto vario ma la qualità del cibo era ottima. Tutto il personale molto gentile!

Ci sono molti ristoranti nella zona ma non tranquilli come quello dell'hotel! Amplierei la possibilità di scelta sul menù!

Had 2 rooms booked for a week, requested in advance they were close and we were allocated rooms next to each other. Arrived early with Jet2 and one room was ready, which was great. Rooms were spacious and clean - both were very comfortable. We had no noise issues despite one having an interconnecting room (not associated with our booking). All staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Hotel very clean and housekeeping of the rooms did a great job, visiting twice a day to make sure all ok! Breakfast was a fantastic setting, outside overlooking the front with a varied selection of hot and cold options. The included use of the beach club over the road was fantastic, having allocated sun-beds for our stay was a bonus and very useful for a visit of a whole day or just a few hours. There are some really good restaurants along the front but I’d recommend booking esp at weekends. The overall hotel and location is faultless and we’d definitely recommend.

Stayed 5 nights in June 2026, room was on the front, a bit on the small side but OK. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Used the hotel car park which worked well. They have bikes to rent which is great and very useful along the long flat Viareggio prom. There is an indoor pool and you also get your own deckchairs and sunbed resereved on the beach for your whole stay. There is an outdoor pool which you can use but it costs 16 euros per day per person. We used it everyday and never had a probelm getting a sunbed althoguh its not big. Overall really nice place and ideal for a week or less in Varieggo

Jai ete complètement déçu.. le site vend son site avec l acces au spa.. bain Turk, bain à remous, sauna.. piscine.. Premièrement.. le dimanche l acces au spa est fermé.. j ai donc perdu ma journée que j avais planifier pour cela .j ai attendu au lundi.. et la sur 4 services juste la piscine et sauna sec qui fonctionne . Je voulais etre remboursé..mais l hôtel dit que vu que j ai acheter avec vous..il ne peuvent me rembourser je suis outré

Diciamo che nel l’insieme tutta la struttura è bella , piscina, palestra fare colazione sul terrazzo e guardare il mare è stupendo.

La camera che ci hanno assegnato era molto piccola è scomoda , c’era una poltrona che non aveva senso di esserci visto che ingombrava e basta , il bagno piccolo . Addirittura hanno tagliato un pezzettino di porta per poterla aprire altrimenti toccava il porta asciugamani.

we were surprised that there was no soap in the bathroom for washing hands, no hand lotion. No free water when we arrived, at least one bottle is free at all other hotels we have stayed in. It is the little things that leaves a good memories of where you have stayed.

La struttura è in una posizione comoda. Offre un parcheggio privato oppure un ticket di 10 € per 24 ore per parcheggiare sulle strisce blu nella zona limitrofa. È una struttura molto bella, pulita e confortevole. Lo staff molto gentile e disponibile.

Siamo andate con delle amiche e volevamo usufruire dei servizi Spa ( piscina, bagno turco, sauna) ma sfortunatamente per un guasto tecnico ne abbiamo usufruito in parte. Avremmo gradito se ci avessero avvisate del guasto ( che è accaduto diversi giorni prima). Per il resto tutto positivo.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Promenade. Dementsprechend gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, vor allem Abends zu verweilen. Zimmer war ruhig und mit seitlichem Meerblick. Zimmer war sauber und die Betten wurden jeden Tag komplett frisch bezogen. Das Frühstück hatte eine große Auswahl. Besonders frisch zubereitete Sachen (Saft, Smoothie, Eierspeisen) konnte man kostenlos bestellen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool war angenehm temperiert und sauber.

Baderegularien im Pool - mit Badekappe. Gegenüber gibt es ein Bagno, mit dem das Hotel zusammenarbeitet. Die Preise sind aber komischerweise genauso hoch, wie für reguläre Gäste.

Ottimo hotel sul lungomare di Viareggio a due passi da tutto. Ottima la camera e i servizi. Da menzionare la colazione.

Ideal location, across the road from the beach and twenty minutes walk from the railway station. Friendly helpful staff. Spacious comfortable room and bathroom. This hotel is kept immaculately clean, throughout. The breakfast was excellent and good quality. The gym had good equipment and there was a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a perfect location, was an easy walk from the train station and is right across the road from the beach. The rooms were spacious, well maintained. The entire hotel was immaculate throughout The staff were very friendly and helpful The breakfast was fantastic the quality of the food was very good and the presentation of it was great. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be booking there again in the future
