Beautiful area easily accessible
No complementary breakfast...no coffee or cups in room to use coffee machine and bedding had some staining on the edges.
Paying 90$ for parking for 2 nights and that was parking our car ourselves. It would have been a lot higher if valet parked our car. The food offered in the restaurants inside was kinda expensive.
I like that was clean. Check in and check out here very easy. No hidden fees when card was asked to go on file.
N/A
It was very spacious and easy to get to off the elevator. It was quiet and we slept very well. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant exceeded our expectations even though the price was a little more than what we wanted to pay.
I didn't like having laundry carts outside out room on either side. It was like someone just forgot they were there. The valet parking situation was a horrible experience. We had to drive around the block 10-times in order to see a sign, find a space to pull in so valet could park our car. There was no cart offered and we had to haul all our luggage and bags up 20-floors.
The rooms was absolutely beautiful and amazing. So comfortable and I had an amazing view.
How close it was to EVERYTHING.
That it was either pay for valet or pay to park. Should be advertised as such. Didn’t know I’d have to pay another 45$-59$ just to park.
The staff was great, the location was excellent, but unfortunately the rooms directly off the elevator shaft are subject to loud elevator noise, so if you are a light sleeper, try to avoid those rooms, and you will have a terrific experience.
Elevator noise, probably exacerbated by a wedding party during our stay. The elevator ran pretty constantly the entire night. They offered to move us, but we didn't have time to pack our stuff during the day. Again, top notch staff, just needs better sound dampening.
After being told our room was being serviced and would probably be available in one hour, we waited 2 hrs. in the hotel only to be downgraded to a smaller room Next morning the toilet wasn't flushing and we waited one hour for maintenance to plunge it. Prior to arrival, I informed front desk that we were traveling by train and we wouldn't need valet services. He told me the charge for valet would be removed. After we returned home, I got an e-mail receipt showing the charge for valet service. Phone calls to billing and to the front desk got me nowhere. I sent an e-mail to Hilton Honors and they got back immediately to tell me someone from the Hotel would contact me. I finally did get a text that the charge had been refunded. The hotel itself is very conveniently located but there are very few options for a room that gives you a comfortable seating area and room to move around. It is not a luxury hotel , but the beds which take up all the room are comfortable.
Stayed at this hotel during a family reunion. The room was clean and comfortable, valet Chris was helpful. We found out after checking in that there is self-parking under the hotel which we switched to after 24 hours. Breakfast and lunch served for the reunion was very good. A good stay!
Good location and reasonable accomodation but several disappointing aspects. Very poor internet services. Shower needed fixing and was not adjustable. On checking out - a very early morning departure - front desk not helpful in getting final bill. I expected more from the Hilton.
Rodrigues on the front desck welcomed us very well . The visit was so amazing we had a wonderful housekeeping experience
It was a clean and well managed hotel.
I wish it had a pool.
The room was small and cramped. Same for the bathroom, nowhere really to put all of your toiletries. The main issue I had was they charged $45 per night for parking which was not indicated when I booked. Additionally the parking was really tight spaces with sharp winding entrances and exits. The hotel needs more staff. The front desk wait was way too long and on several occasions when I called for guest services or the front desk, no one even answered.
Beautiful hotel. Good location. Large room. Nice restaurant and bar area. Good service. Would stay there again.
excellent location
We stayed here for one night, and at 9 PM a loud, constant noise started, making it impossible to sleep. We called the staff four times, and they treated us as if we were fools. On the first call, we explained the problem, and they said they would send an engineer to check our room. We waited almost 30 minutes and called again. On the second call, a different person answered and acted as if the complaint had never been reported. They said once more that they would send an engineer. Another hour passed, and no one showed up. We called a third time to ask if they were actually going to resolve the issue because we were unable to sleep. The staff member said the engineer was right next to them and would come immediately. We also asked to move to another room, but they claimed the hotel was fully booked, which was a lie, since we checked their website and saw that three rooms were available. Unsurprisingly, no one ever came to our room. The experience was sleeping in a noisy room and being treated disrespectfully. I will never come back to this hotel, and I strongly recommend that no one books a room here.
Location: The location is excellent. It’s within easy walking distance of many of Portland’s top attractions, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. We rarely needed a car during our stay, making it a great base for exploring the city. Value: The hotel offers great value for its downtown location. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We felt we received excellent quality for the price. Cleanliness: The hotel was spotless throughout our stay. Our room was very clean, well maintained, and housekeeping did an excellent job. Everything felt fresh and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Service: A special thank you to Rodrigo at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. He answered our questions with patience and made us feel genuinely appreciated as guests. His excellent customer service made a great impression and contributed to a wonderful experience at the hotel.
This hotel is beautiful. However, by far one of the worst experiences with a Hilton property. From the lack of service at the front desk to overselling Valet Parking, this hotel's management needs a wake up call. As a noted above, the secured parking which we paid $59.00 for was oversold. We were given the option to self park (no refund offered) but with two recent break in's that didn't seem like a good choice since we had three sets of golf clubs and carts in the vehicle. The solution the valet came up with was to park our car at the front entrance all night since they had no other place to put it. The next morning, my family entered the dining room to have breakfast and every table was dirty. When the waitstaff approached and encouraged us to take a seat we commented that all the tables were dirty. The lady replied "I know, I can't keep up and I just can't take this anymore" and walked away. The manager on duty's response was "I'm sorry that happened". Didn't try to get the dining room cleaned up so we could eat, didn't offer anything but a rather lame apology and moved on to "helping" the next guest. I did call the hotel later and they refunded our valet parking charge which was the right thing to do since we didn't receive that service. One other positive, the rooms were clean and well furnished. The bathrooms were modern and lovely.
There was some kind of smell
There was some kind of smell
The location was conveniently located in downtown Portland.
The room smelled dirty and was not deodorized. There was a cotton ball on the floor upon our arrival. The system for parking was not clear.
Nice staff. Very responsive.
Not a fan of the flower smell in the lobby but other than. Great hotel
Me tocó una habitación muy confort
Great location
Parking rate overnight
Location
Things closed early and breakfast ended a little early.
Rodrigo was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Great customer service!
I like the lobby, wide open, with the bar and restaurant. The gym is large/comfortable I had a great time, I got up to the 23rd , the panoramic view, spectacular.
Windows are too small, on a nice day I like the fresh air coming in.
Great location
The property is so clean and the staff are so nice.
I wish the market was open late
Cleanliness and price and convenience
The bathroom was functional but very small
Great location

Love the staff in the dinner area
The front desk people were so nice! They were my first impression and they definitely did a great job.

This is hard to write—but it needs to be said. After spending over $70,000 as a loyal Gold member with Hilton, this is how my experience was handled after an incident involving a Hilton security employee: I was called a racial slur. N....... I was verbally insulted. N.... You must be crazy I was threatened. I know what room you are in I will see you later Instead of accountability, I was told there was “zero evidence” it happened. I was told I had no right to respond after being treated that way. The proposed resolution? • 75,000 Hilton Honors points • One night reimbursed • A one-sided legal agreement designed to protect the company—while putting me at risk if I spoke up if this was to happen to me again on a Hilton property. Let me be clear: I’m not asking for sympathy. This is about accountability. No customer—no human being—should be told their dignity doesn’t matter because a corporation has deeper legal resources. When companies hide behind legal language instead of addressing harm, they send a dangerous message: your voice doesn’t count. This is wrong. Period. Call to Action Hilton Portland Downtown, Mike McLeod I challenge you to do better: Acknowledge the harm instead of dismissing it Commit to real accountability—not silence Invest in training, oversight, and policies that protect guests from this ever happening again And to anyone reading this: don’t stay silent when something is wrong. Awareness is the first step toward change. We can—and must—expect better.
i was given a violation report saying I was smoking in my room and I certainly did not smoke anything in the Hilton or on the propery whatsoever, as i am a non smoker. My guests do not smoke either. We did notice a smell of stale cigarette smell outside of the main door to out room (325).,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, , //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////&...
The lock had wood splinter and the deadbolt barely locked
The locking looked like some tried to break in
Nice view from 19th floor! Comfortable bed, big TV, fast elevator. Valet staff were courteous.
Parking was expensive at motel. Water bottles in room were extra cost.. no non-parking garage parking in near area..
The lobby.
The fact that the bathroom wasn’t all that clean, not to mention you can’t even watch YouTube on the tv.. ridiculous especially for the amount I paid.
Great location, clean and great customer service
Location
The staff from our valet parking to reception to the customer service staff were all fabulous. Our room is clean and lovely and very close to all of the things that we wanted to do downtown.
It would’ve been nice to have a magnified mirror in the bathroom
Nice clean room, BIG TV, comfortable bed.
The Friday nite bar tender. He was not friendly, standing at bar where he mixes drinks it took him 15 minutes to take my order. Back to the bar for another round, he saw me walk up, cashed out another customer, walked around the island, went to the back side to get a glass of water for a guy that came up after me. Then walked around the island one more time & proceeded to take down bottles from top shelf & put them away. I decided I didn't need to spend another 20 plus dollars on more drinks &left. I'm 78years old & have been in a few bars in my life. AND have never seen such a slow bar tender& impersonable one in my life.
We have stayed her before several times. Nice hotel, nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately this time we had some problems. First room assigned it us had a towel hook that came out of the wall. We requested another room and was accommodated. At the end of the night we went down to the lounge bar and found it closed. We thought that was odd considering it was only 10 on a Saturday night. We checked the sheet at the front desk that said they closed at 11. I asked a young man at the front desk what was going on. He gave me the most ridiculous answer I have ever heard about a group that contracted it and well I just don’t know what to say it was so stupid. All the lights were out and there was no one around. Why didn’t he just tell me the truth? We had words but he was just condescending so I walked away. Sad to say but this is my last stay here.
Location, comfort, affordable
No fan in the bathroom
Just the restaurant
No friendly staff at the front desk Old bathrooms
My mom and I came for a special family event that required a quiet & efficient place to come back & sleep to. The front desk attendant (Kimberly) was the BEST, she not only upgraded our room for the best city view, but had also sent us a late bday gift celebration to return to when we went out! Even one of the restaurant employees directed us efficiently to get everything we needed after checking in! All in all, Kimberly & the rest of the staff working this day (11.29.25) made so many accommodations that made us feel executive! We will be returning soon :)
Klarece - Front Desk Representative, was awesome!! She was very helpful and friendly. She fulfilled my request with a smile. A valuable asset to the Hilton Brand. Also, Rodrigo was professional and personable. And the food at the lobby restaurant was exceptionally tasty, especially for “hotel” food.
Location was perfect. And staff were very friendly and attentive.
The sliding door in the bathroom. In a room with three folks, one could hear EVERTHING happening in there. 😳
Victoria of the front desk was exceptional! She went above and beyond in addressing my requests by taking prompt actions and even suggesting solutions. She never ran out of good mood and patience even if she was the only one working at the time I was there. She always maintained her focus and composure in attending to all of the guests and never lost her energy and enthusiasm. Highly commendable employee who should get a raise! About the hotel, I noticed that it was so clean and well-maintained and the staff are also friendly. The location is close to so many restaurants and bus stops/train stations (MAX line). I'll definitely go back here!!!
Meets our expectations
Good location, close to venues and restaurants.
Rooms are very small. Shower head and drain were both broken and water pressure was poor. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable - woke up sore. Heater was broken and would only blow cool air.
My husband & I had mixed feelings. He didn't like that there was no concierge; food very expensive in Hop City; no one at front desk told us about having to use room card to use elevator. Rode up/down several times before another guest showed us how to use room card. On the other hand, Shaun R, of bell staff acted as our concierge helping with cabs, tours & local food places. He is an outstanding member of Hilton staff. Housekeeping was extremely friendly, timely with cleaning. We would stay here again now that we know the ropes, just eat elsewhere.
Good stay! Staff was awesome
The service was great. Parking is horrible. The shower pressure was horrible- it barely trickled out. The towels looked washed but had residual hair on them from guests. Disgusting. The concierge and parking attendant were so kind.
The hotel was nice. Have big a corner room with two walls of windows was a treat. The only downside was the noise. The trash trucks in the AM sounded like they were right inside the room with me. Staff was friendly and the restaurant food was decent. Nice conference facilities and very walkable.
Friendly staff.
Valet parking was almost always 15-20. Not the worst but should consider having more employees for this.
Had a great experience. Clean, comfy beds, walkable to restaurants, stores and theater. Felt safe.
Hello Conceriage was very helpful at the front desk I was surprised the room had no microwave or freezer, definitely not what was expected at a Hilton Hotel
It was great
Victoria the front desk gal was awesome. She helped me combine a bunch of reservations with a smile! The hotel staff was great overall.
The room was beautiful, staff was very helpful. However I got charge the valet service when none of the valets could drive my friends manual transmission vehicle. Outside of that, was a fun stay.
I appreciate that rooms are cleaned daily without having to make a request like other Hilton properties do (Hampton Inn). It’s the right thing to do. Thank you.
Despite requesting housekeeping and leaving the do not disturb off the door, did not receive any services for a 3 night stay. Staff was friendly enough. Not rude, but not helpful beyond bare minimum. Valet did not offer to help with bags, when I
It was a great overall experience. The staff were attentive. The restaurants were reasonably priced. The room was clean and the room service was very nice. I was in town for a conference and my only complaint is the handling fee for every package you have delivered. It seems a lot of companies are nickel and diming you nowadays.
