Staff was welcoming, room was clean and perfect location
Staff was super friendly and I loved the restaurant options on site
Had no complaints
comfy and cozy just like home
they didn’t have their own parking garage
Quartos velhos (e não antigos). Banheiros precisam de reforma, urgente.
No hot water
Close to Downtown
Charge for parking 37 USD which we knew about upfront but unnecessarily expensive. Bedding and pillows smelt of stale sweat, reluctantly changed. Random room charge after leaving.
Location and friendly staff
The air was not cool! I had it set on 70 and my room was very warm.
The location.
I guess there was new staff training. The staff that was training was on the weekend and I thought it was probably a bad idea to be training people on your busiest days. I had questions they couldn't even answer.
Everything was great
Low pressure in shower
Parking was a bit of an issue

I like the convenience of being across from the utk convention center. I like the convenience of being in the downtown area.
It was the transparency in the parking situation and the fact that they had little signs of another company and then or you can choose to park with Hilton for so much money. For a person that doesn't know anything about the city it was the most frustrating thing I've ever dealt with. Also there was no transparency with the additional charges the daily holds I think that's something that should be said at the beginning or in some type of literature when staying.
I was attending a convention and new to the town and hotel. I was cosplaying the mandolorian from star wars so its a huge effort to get dressed.i had 80% on then i was stuck. An employee named Theron who cheerfully helped me get the last armor parts on so i could entertian kids. After the event i returned and another young man i forgot his name helped me with armor. That was such a blessing. Im not done with my story. After that i have a meeting tommorow and didnt have good enough shirt and pants. I asked david B at desk where i can get a button down shirt and slacks and he rocommended a business within walking distance. I was able to get the shirt and pants! The staff here is wonderful they go above for their guests for sure. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at the rooms are clean, bed comfortable and the staff is excellent.
The room was clean, attractive, and quiet. We really liked the hotel location, as we could walk to places if we wanted. My wife thought her bed more comfortable than her bed at home!
Instructions on using the parking garage were incomplete, even though I spoke to the desk attendant about information I needed for this purpose. For example, after talking to the hotel staff, we encountered the posted QR codes in the garage and had no idea whether we needed to scan one of them. At that point, I walked back to the hotel and were told that we did not need to scan. When we left the next day, we found a written warning stuck in our window about, it seemed, violating the parking rules by not scanning. I just ignored it and hoped that I did the right thing.
David B. wa amazing! He has excellent service. He’ll take care of you no matter what your needs are! 5/5 stars!!!!!!
David B is the best highest recommendation A+++++ knows all the info and great spots ask him!!!
David B and Jaime were true professionals who took care of us.
I had fun checking in. They were very helpful. I gave them some cigars haha.
Everything
The hotel’s Valet Service, a separate subcontractor-PMC Parking Management is not one to entrust with your vehicle! Our two night stay resulted in my Ray-Ban sunglasses being stolen! When I discovered this incident, I contacted the Hilton Front Desk who referred me to the PMC Valet Manager. Per his request, I submitted a Claim Request for reimbursement! Over Seven days later I received a “Rejection Email “ from the PMC Claim’s office! I can not recommend allowing PMC to receive or park your vehicle anytime! Moreover, as a loyal customer of Hilton with significant status, that they feel no need to engage with their subcontractor in this case! I am very disappointed with both PMC Valet and Hilton Knoxville!
Kids loved the pool
The staff member wasn't friendly at check in and then after checkout we were charged for 2 bottles of water that they claimed we drank. We did not drink any of the bottles of water, we brought our own reusable water bottles and didn't even touch the ones in the room.
David B was absolutely exceptional. He was very helpful. He and the other staff exhibited top notch customer service.
I travel for work and I can honestly say David B made one of my roughest travel days (from flat tire to original airport and everything in between) more pleasant from the second I entered the hotel & greeted. He had no idea what all I went through getting here and it did matter he was determined to make sure I felt welcome. Sometimes thats all someone needs, which for me was all I needed
Good location, clean
Was charged for bottled water which we didn’t drink and refused a refund
this is a good hotel. with great staff.
David B at the front desk was amazing; he made my stay perfect with my husband for our anniversary. Hilton needs more agents like David to make their stay worth while. 🩷🩷🩷
very disappointed to find out the pool was closed since I was traveling with a child.
David B. is the BEST! Such personalized service and friendly too! We arrived when it was pouring rain and at midnight nonetheless, and he was very accommodating and it meant so much! Highly recommend the staff here.
They people here are amazing!!! From the great hospitality to amazing food, was in a dying need of RANCH at 12:00 am at night and DAVID B & JESSE hooked us up! Thank you guys!
Overall a fabulous experience at the Hilton Knoxville! Staff members were friendly, helpful, and easy to reach if needed. Now the highlight of my stay was most definitely the valet, Lukas. Very welcoming, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile. Handled my car with extreme care. An exquisite young man with a bright future ahead!
Outstanding customer service even before I arrived at the hotel. I called on the day of my check in and spoke with David. I explained that my flight was delayed and wanted to ensure I would not be marked as a no show. He immediately offered to check me in over the phone to ensure I would have a room upon my late arrival. Turns out my flight was cancelled and I did arrive until the next day. Who do I meet at the front desk but David himself. He remembered our conversation and was immediately warm and welcoming. He could sense that we had a long travel day and made my family of four feel very comfortable upon check in. Both he and Chalee took care of us perfectly. Thanks!
Staff was accommodating as best they could.
Both pools were closed, front of hotel under construction, valet was a bit of mess (staff did great with what they were working with) shower backed up. Room we were traveling with lost hot water. Exhaust fan didn’t work. Clear water damage in bathrooms and tops of ceilings above the beds. AC wasn’t the best. Overall for what is charged a night, it was probably one of the worst hiltons we have stayed at
Sam Thiele and the valet staff were great during our stay at the Hilton. Sam was friendly, professional, and always quick to help. He made getting in and out of the hotel easy and was genuinely kind every time we interacted with him. Great customer service can really make a difference, and Sam definitely helped make our experience better. Thanks again to Sam and the whole valet team!
What a great young man Mr. Thiele is. So very helpful and engaging. He definitely goes above and beyond!
Under construction. Did not know that when booking. Very inconvenient to load and unload luggage. Terrible accomodations
bed was comfy but that was about all that good
If we had been notified that there was no parking or entrance open to the motel. We had to go in the back side of the motel and it made it very hard to unload and get into the motel because of construction onsite. My 87 yr old mother had difficulties getting in/out. The lady at check in was very snippy and rude. The others that was there was nice. We have always used Hilton Hotels. This was the worst that we've ever been to.
Great experience. David B. Was excellent!!
I had the best experience. Huge shoutout to Chalee, David B and especially Edna for working with me and finding a way for me to stay at their hotel last minute. Hotel itself is above par for a Hilton, beautiful lobby with wonderful views from the upper floors. 10/10 would recommend, and I’ll be booking directly through the hotel and staying here on any future trips to/through Knoxville!
We had a bit of a chaotic stay at the Hilton Knoxville. Despite booking well in advance, our group's meeting room got changed at the last minute with limited explanation. When we checked in the night before the front desk staff had not heard of our group and was unable to provided any clarification. Once we did find our room the breakfast buffet was extremely generously portioned and the events staff was very courteous. The AV set up did not work as expected and while they did eventually get the right combination of folks to make it work, the coming and going of all the staff was a bit disruptive. The rooms are out dated but fine and the bed comfortable. The housekeeping staff was lovely and attentive. The pool, one of the reasons we booked this particular hotel, was closed, without notice, which was disappointing. I do want to shout out the valets. Lukas and Connor both were very attentive and helpful, running to our car when something was left by mistake.
hotel location near TN Theater
check in seemed slow and laborious. Just seems like it could be quicker if you made a reservation.
Lukas was very nice when greeting my friend in and I as we entered the hotel for our conference that we attended.
Location was convenient to the convention center
Rooms are slightly outdated.
The staff was amazing
Nothing
Anders, James & Brian.. Most helpful & Kind valets in Knoxville/ Much Love🐾🐾
Staff was helpful and friendly
I was extremely upset by the rate hike for which I was not forwarned. I booked last June, with an acceptable rate. But the rate nearly tripled without warning. When I questioned it, I was told it was graduation weekend, and rates go up. I should have been informed.
Team conference at this fabulous hotel; banquets a 5 out of 5, great food team luncheon, nice high-end quality, delicious Tee banquet, captain 11 out of 10
Location was good. Liked Starbucks in lobby
The hotel is not very modern. The outside bar had potential to be great but was not open which was surprising as it was a busy weekend with a big concert in town. The inside bar was very boring. Overall it’s extremely overpriced especially compared to nearby hotels
The hotel main lobby and restaurant are very nice spaces. The rooms could be updated. Overall, decent stay. The staff was very nice at the front desk.
Centrally located. the coffee machine was broken And did not work. Room service responded swiftly with a replacement of the machine.
When a guest can clearly show on their bank account that payment has already been deducted, the appropriate response is to trace the transaction—not to charge them again with a simple “it’s not reflected on our system.” Unfortunately, reception insisted that I pay a second time at check-in, resulting in a double charge. I then spent weeks dealing with my bank in South Africa to reverse the duplicate transaction. This required additional back-and-forth with the hotel’s accounts department to obtain written confirmation that I did not owe any outstanding amount before the bank would process the reversal. It was a significant sum, which made the situation even more stressful. In addition, the hotel attempted to charge us $40 per night for weekend parking, despite the fact that most public parking garages in the area are free until Monday at 07:00. This option was not disclosed to us. Fortunately, we explored alternatives ourselves and found free parking directly across from the hotel’s garage. Overall, this experience reflected poorly on both the hotel’s billing processes and its transparency with guests. They did not clean our room either, no fresh towels during our stay, no complimentary water (not even on arrival).
Comfortable
There wasn't a microwave in my room, there also wasn't warm water from the shower or a mat for drying off- I had to put a towel down. To my surprise, there wasn't a bathroom fan to turn on for the shower either.
My stay the week of April 20th, 2026 2 of the 3 elevators were not working on and off. My room’s bed had stains on the side of the box spring cover. This is an older property in a good location.
Perfect location to downtown! Clean but basic, no frills.
Nothing other than it is basically a place to sleep
I made an error and booked a night at this Hilton for the wrong weekend. I called the day of check-in when I realized the error and the hotel refused to refund or credit the room rate to me, despite confirming that the hotel was nowhere near capacity that night. The hotel didn't miss out on being able to book the room to someone else, provided no service, and simply stole my $300. They easily could have returned it or credited it to the correct night. They chose not to.
Pool wasn’t open even though it was warm!
The location of this property is truly its greatest asset, situated perfectly near Market Square with effortless access to the best downtown shops and sites. I must also extend my sincere compliments to David B.at the front desk; his professionalism was exemplary. He went well above and beyond to ensure my check-in was seamless—a bright spot in an otherwise underwhelming stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is a relic of the late '90s. While "dilapidated" might be too harsh a word, the aesthetic is undeniably beyond its prime. For the premium rates charged, one expects a standard of luxury that the current wood-themed decor and cramped quarters simply do not meet. The bathroom ergonomics are particularly puzzling; the footprint is so restrictive that one must maneuver around the fixtures just to close the door. Furthermore, the structural integrity regarding privacy is quite disappointing for a high-rise of this stature. The reliance on in-window AC units and poorly insulated doors—which allow a clear view into the hallway—is a significant oversight. Most taxing, however, is the lack of acoustic privacy. The walls are paper-thin, leaving no conversation, television program, or "intimate moment" to the imagination. It is a curious paradox to stay in a place where you can hear every neighbor’s whisper, yet find security at your door with a "rude knock" should your own television volume dare to compete with the lack of soundproofing. This property has immense potential, but until it undergoes a comprehensive modern renovation, the lack of privacy and outdated amenities make it difficult to justify a return.
Pros: Great location for downtown Knoxville. Cons: Only two elevators in service for such a big hotel. Advertised rooftop pool but it was not available during our stay. Stayed on the 15th floor and still heard a lot of noise from downtown. Front desk staff was very rude, David in particular. Parking is expensive. There is a parking garage across the street that is much more affordable. Bathroom is TINY with barely any room to move around. Marriott and the Tennessean down the street look like much better options.
I really loved the location of the hotel. We were touring UT, so it was a perfect distance between the campus and restaurants on Market Square and Gay St. The room was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly. Although I didn't go to the hotel restaurant, I liked that it was an option.
Nothing!
check out was easy. Using the car valet was easy.
The woman who checked me in was very unfriendly. Had a frown on her face before I even said one word. She was in a foul mood and it wasn't because of anything I said or did.
Came for the KA convention this weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the standard the Hilton has set. Went very smoothly from the start checking in especially the valet. Pulled up and was unloaded and checked in within 5 minutes thanks to Conner at valet. Restaurant was tentative serving us and one of the best burgers. Will stay here again!
The room was spacious and had an excellent view and the hotel is perfectly located. The bed was comfortable. I liked the bar area outside with a TV.
One day the room was not fully serviced. I had to ask for the tea/coffees to be replenished. Our neighbors were noisy on the last night, but this is not the fault of the hotel.
Hotel is a perfect location for our needs as it was downtown and we could walk everywhere - there's a Starbucks in the lobby and a bar/restaurant with patio onsite. Also a gym for folks who want to work out while traveling.
The property is a bit dated; in our bathroom the exhaust fan wasn't working and there was a bad smell coming from the sink drain when we used it.
Came for a business meeting with a colleague. Just needed to park for a couple hours and then meet at the hotel. Hotel lobby was nice and welcoming. The Starbucks is a nice little spot for a hotel and Hilton hotels are always my go to.
Calie, the valet, was extremely efficient and a sweetheart to us.
Such a great hotel and staff. The restaurant has excellent food as well.
I loved the snacks for purchase open late night with the self check out! Super convenient and easy to use
One of the elevators was out of service which made waiting for an elevator take some additional time
If I could give less than 1 star, believe me I would. I was absolutely shocked at the condition of this Hilton property & appalled by the treatment by the hotel staff. One would think that a Hilton hotel in a major city in the USA would be a world class hotel & experience. Hilton Knoxville proved that line of thinking wrong. Starting with the checkin, there were 5 people working the front desk. 4 out of the 5 were the most hateful, disrespectful, rude & self centered people in the history of hotel front desks. Ask many different questions in which none of them were answered correctly or to my satisfaction. The new girl checked me in & bless her heart, nobody wanted to help her on her 2nd day on the job. All of the others treated her like the red headed stepchild & were just plain awful & dismissive of her questions. That’s when I really chimed in that finally got one of the old ladies off of her butt & over to finally help. They probably didn’t like the new girl because she was young, beautiful & smart. I almost cancelled my reservation on the spot but decided to stay because I was tired from traveling all day. That was a mistake to say the least. 3 elevators. 1 out of order 2 working for a packed house & 18 floors of rooms. On my trip up to the 18th floor the elevator quit running. 35 min inside this box with 5 other people & a poodle. Ugh. Nightmare scenario realized!! I got to my 18th floor room & had a view of the parking garage out of my window. The room was not clean & smelled like mothballs inside a gym locker room. The tv didn’t work, the water was like warm that evening & ice bucket challenge cold by the morning. The toilet ran all night & the shower head was a plastic turned yellow from 1981. The towels were like sandpaper & the noise, OMG the noise. Between the neighbors fighting & TV’s turned up full blast to the drunks with sleep apnea on the other side of me plus the thunderstorms all night & the elevators ever move heard just as if you were on board….the noise was hell. Not a wink of sleep. Oh & the smoke alarm battery was low because it beeped every 30 sec. Not one of my calls to the front desk about the conditions of my room were answered by an hotel staff in person. Not one. So unprofessional. Breakfast was good but overpriced ($50.00 for an omelette, potatoes & toast. Hot tea & OJ) dinner wasn’t much better ($45 for a cheeseburger well done & string fried & a coke) went to get my car from valet & had to go fetch it myself (I was still charged $40 plus tax for the valet service when the garage across the street had 24 hour parking for $7.00…learned that as I was leaving) This Hilton was at best a DUMP!!! One would have a better experience at the Motel 6!!!
We stayed on the 14th floor and were happy with our room. The hotel location was perfect, near restaurants and shopping, but a short distance to the river. The atmosphere was inviting due to the light and airy lobby area. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, there was no waiting for hot water, it was quiet where our room was, and there was never a long wait for the elevator. . There was a restaurant on site which served good food, but the portions were far more than we could eat. There was also a Starbucks satellite there. The only drawbacks were (1) there was no ice maker on our floor and (2) the creamers had soured, and (3) the coffee maker did not work properly. Still a good stay and would certainly go back.
Traveling for business isn't anything new but finding those gem of individuals sometimes can be. In this property I can't say there's too many things that stand out outside of the people. Sam and I believe his name was Ed or Incredible Ed, the guy with the beard. These guys truly know how to make things stand out. Making personal connections trying to get to know individuals and their teams not, making one feel overwhelmed even though Bassmaster Classic has everybody overwhelmed. Really a great crew out here. I would like to say that the hotel definitely needs upgrading but the people that are running it are definitely holding it up just kind of feel bad that nobody has invested enough on this building to keep these great workers.
Fully average and dated Hilton. My limited interactions with the staff were pleasant enough, and the building exterior is in good condition. The main lobby is nothing to write home about; it's pretty large and has a fair number of spots to work or meet up with others. My room was bordering on sad times, in part because everything needs to be freshened up a lot. The bathroom included a shower with good pressure and decent counter space. But the grout around the shower and the trim around the door was clearly untouched for years – the little things you notice, you know? Beyond that the toilets in the rooms were extremely weak. Not just mine but those of my neighbors because in the room it was easy to hear others' rooms. I definitely heard one neighbor's TV, and my other neighbor's toilet and bathroom activity. I don't expect pindrop quiet in a hotel room like this but this was not good. The bed and pillows were horribly uncomfortable. I had neck and back pain throughout my stay here. The pool was closed for the season when I was here; the fitness center was okay but quite dated, once again (think: oldish Precor equipment, drop ceilings.) So overall completely average, and not what I'd equate with a Hilton branded hotel.
It was my first time visiting for a softball tournament, It was great from start to finish. I received amazing service from Meme pointing out the different activities and restaurants in the area. House keeping was very courteous with any of the extra things I needed. I am very excited for the next time I come back to the area. I have no doubt that I will be back here.
Really enjoyed my self this weekend.thanks to Valet meme very professional
James and Mimi the vallets were very friendly and awesome to work with
James and Meme from vallet were super nice
Great location, convient to everything downtown. Restaurant/bar on property was reasonable and had good quality food.
I'm not a fan of the small pillows for sleeping. I prefer a full size pillow.
Great experience overall. Very quick, friendly, and professional hospitality, especially from the valet and Anders Rahimi.
The location was beautiful wasn’t far away to where I was at and was easy to get there. The room I got there was nothing wrong with it. It was quiet, clean, and one of the best rooms I’ve gotten in a hotel in a while. Service was excellent. They helped me whenever I needed it. They were nice and they were patient with me especially this one girl name meme who helped me the most she showed me where to go where everything was at and what I needed. She was so sweet It was super nice she was the one who parked my car as she is one of the valets there when I got back to my car, it was parked really well and parked at a location, really nice and it wasn’t that far and I’m so thankful for that. Overall, my experience at this hotel was amazing that I hope to go back here once again.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. A special thank you to Meme, who made the experience even better. She was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Her excellent service truly stood out. I’d definitely stay here again!

We decided on a spur of the moment trip to Knoxville for my birthday and Valentine's weekend and Hilton Knoxville was one of the few places that had rooms available last minute and I am so glad they did. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by valet and Ed went above and beyond making a wonderful start to our trip. This powerful and wonderful impression to your hotel set the standard and direction for our stay. Ed (the valet supervisor) is a great value to your hotel! Our continued interaction with Ed has ensured that this Hilton will be at the top of our list when we come back to stay in Knoxville!

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
8.2/10Multiple guests call rooms 'very clean' and 'neat' but a few reports note stale-smelling bedding and dated bathrooms needing refurbishment.
Service
9.5/10Staff repeatedly praised as friendly, welcoming and accommodating (decorated room for anniversary, above-and-beyond service); isolated issues with slow valet and some trainee-related knowledge gaps.
Location
9.6/10Consistently described as centrally located — close to downtown, UT and the convention center — though access can be difficult during busy event weekends or from the airport.
Room Quality
7.2/10Several negative notes: small bathrooms, older rooms in need of renovation, intermittent no-hot-water reports and low shower pressure; mixed overall.
Amenities
8.4/10Positive mentions of on-site Starbucks, bar/restaurant and pet-friendly touches; negatives include paid parking, no complimentary breakfast and occasional elevator problems.
Value for Money
6.6/10Frequent complaints about high parking fees, lack of included breakfast and unexpected or non-transparent additional charges reduce perceived value.
Food and Beverage
8.3/10Guests note on-site restaurant options and lobby Starbucks positively; limited comments on food quality beyond availability.
Overall Experience
8.6/10Many guests report very positive stays ('everything was great', eager to return) tempered by recurring issues around charges, parking and some room/facility problems.
