Parking garage sucks! The staff overall was not nice/friendly. They spoke to people like they were beneath them ( besides the lady I had at check in she was nice) my card was tried to be ran multiple times for our stay. Thankfully I used a card that I put just enough money on for this various reason. Definitely won't be my first choice in a hotel in Knoxville.

Far too much loud noise all through the night made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. This was easily the noisiest hotel I’ve ever experienced.

We drove 13 hours to get there & were grateful for the ease of parking & check-in. Even grabbed a glass of wine before bed & a delicious breakfast before checkout. Thank you!

TRAVELING FROM NORTH CAROLINA THIS WILL DEFINITELY BE OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!! THE HOTEL, OUR ROOM WAS IMMACULATE!!! Staff were the best ever especially the young lady who is the manager of the mahogany restaurant.

Disappointing that the parking cost for mahogany guests is free but overnight hotel guests do not get a parking discount when dining - disingenuous advertising. Room windows were filthy inside and out #706

What we needed, where and when we needed it. Plenty of linens and towels.

The room was damp/humid, even with ac running. There was no vent in the bathroom. There was at least a 1-inch gap between the door and the floor, allowing bright light in. (Used an extra towel to line the door to block the light.)

The property was beautiful inside and out and was close to where we needed to go.

For the amount of money we spent, there was not a free breakfast.

The location is a pain to get to in downtown. Homeless people and druggies outside the entrance after dark. The wad of pubic hair in our bed was not good. No free snacks or breakfast

Entirely bad experience. I have stayed so many times at Marriotts and a handful of time at Crown plaza when I was younger. Decided to try the Crown again since it was advertised on Booking.com. However - the manager at front desk was condescending, acting like we shouldn’t be there because it was booked through booking.com. Would it honor the correct room as promised through booking.com. Tried to give me a room that he said “we only have 2 of those rooms for people like you who book through there” how appalling! Then I showed him my reservation and what it include with city views and premium queen room and he said he can’t control what booking.com advertised and we can just cancel the reservation. Obviously this was not feasible as it was 10 pm and we just got in from a long drive for 9 hours, so why would we cancel? He told me they had zero rooms left in the entire hotel but it was pretty quit ironically. I overheard someone say there was an attorney convention and I kindly explained to the manager that I was going to ask an attorney how this situation would be handled - he ironically came up with a replacement room that he told me was equivalent to the room I booked. Yes it did have city views, however it was a tiny shoe box. When I asked an employee soon checkout about the room I was told it was aa standard room in which I stated it was not a premium room? I was told no it wasn’t when in fact the manager the 2 night prior stated it was the same room. I didn’t like the games they were playing. We spent another 700 there on 2 meals, lunch and dinner with drinks as well as valet parking for the 2 nights we stayed. We aren’t shy about spending money at all. Still applauded to be laughed at if I ask about the advertiser t stating city room and laughed at and told “ well if you want to think it’s a city view, I guess it kind of is from the abc kid the building toward the back of the city.

shame there was no breakfast included. outdoor noise very high, proximity to train line so was woken up by freight train in the night.

Road noice all night, No soundproofing at all could hear people talking everywhere gaps under doors so sound could travel. Could hear constant noice from above also and all sides this Hotel should not be available to rent.

Given the location just blocks away from a not so pretty area I understand the need for garage parking. There was a sence of comfort and security.

If a parking fee of $25 is charged that should be explained from the start. For the receptionist to say that the parking fee will drop off once you exit the parking garage and drop the key in the box and customer service to say otherwise is angering and deceptive.

I loved the breakfast options

The parking garage exit was a little tricky. You need a key card to exit and i left mine in my room at checkout. I had to re-park and go inside to get a new key card. Not the end of the world but a little awkward to exit the parking garage. Just be prepared if you have a car.

Fair price overall. Fair price on on-premises parking garage. (Think was $25 night?) Only charged for 1 vehicle when we had 2 vehicles to move our daughter out of UTK dorm. Could leave vehicle there until 3pm until new charge would kick in. So made it easy for us to walk to the square nearby to eat lunch without worry.

The host and staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional and they might have the best fitness gym located inside a hotel. Very pleased with our stay.

They cancelled my room 2 hours before I arrived. Stating they had overbooked. I booked the room months ago

Unruly loud party in the Suite across the hall.. Management let them know that we complained, informed them that it was guest across the hall. Party continued and we left before 10 p.m. It was a shame, because it really is very nice and conveniently located.

When I booked this hotel it promoted breakfast was included. Breakfast was not included. Restaurant on site is way over priced. This hotel is hard to get to especially when construction was going on at the time. You have to pay for parking. For never being in downtown Knoxville this was a surprise to me. Will not stay here again.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, we walked to every restaurant that we ate at.. The only thing was the noise of downtown, a train,construction close by. several roads close to make it difficult to get around.But overall it was a great trip and when we come back to knoxville we will stay there again because it's so convenient. Staff was absolutely fabulous, friendly,courteous ,so helpful.

The downtown noise but we know that you can't do anything about that.
