location is amazing, the roof top bar is great and the entire lobby is very nice

the beds are rather soft, we did not find them very comfortable. Also, there were 4 of us in the room checked in and 2 out of 5 times we had to ask for an extra towel because we only got 3. We also needed to ask twice to refill the shampoo bottle which we ran out of (normal use) - all that despite of repeated nice tip for the maid

Good location and good facilities

The hotel charged me a smoking fee when NO member of my family smokes. We even showed them a video proving their sensors were mistaking the smell of hair dryers for an e-cigarette, but they found it easier to impose the fine than admit their mistake. This is truly an outrageous abuse of the hotel's rights. In every review I write, I will ALWAYS give them negative ratings. And if you at Booking.com have any way to support your users, please let me know how. Instead of doing their job to investigate further, the staff simply washed their hands of the matter

The room and location were excellent! The room was clean with a nice soft bed (but not too soft) and a sofa which gave a spacious feeling. The bathroom and shower were nice. The rooftop bar is lovely, with a view on Times Square. The absolute best thing is the location, between Times Square and Central Park. We did a lot of things on foot. If you want to take the metro, there is a station right next to the hotel or a few within a couple minutes’ walk. The price was a bit more than hotels further away, but it was definitely worth it. In our case the staff was very friendly and attentive when we needed a solution for our problem. I highly recommend.

I wouldn't recommend breakfast. We did get breakfast one time, but it was a standard American breakfast. Lots of carbs, no veggies and no alternatives like plant‑based milk or yoghurt. There are a lot of good places to get breakfast, so I recommend going out or grabbing a quick breakfast. Also, the bike rental was a bit of clickbait for us – turns out you cannot rent a bike with the hotel. They give you a daily code for half an hour free for city bike rentals, which also requires you to put the bike back every half an hour. So not really what we envisioned when they advertise with bike rentals.

Das Hotel ist mit Abstand an der besten Lage am Times Square! Wenn ich wieder nach NY fliegen sollte dann nur in dieses Hotel. Die Aussicht der Wahnsinn. Das Personal der Wahnsinn! Das Bett und die Kissen waren der Wahnsinn! Einfach 10 von 10. Ich habe übrigens einen leichten Schlaf und muss sagen ich bin begeistert wie ruhig es war!

Zwischen 11 Uhr und 12 Uhr ist die Bar sowie das Restaurant. Ist nicht weiters schlimm wenn man es weiß.

Lifts slow - be patient ! Room not made up on the one day . Unacceptable. Doormen at side walk level - Disappointing. Not sure what their function is. . My wife arrived with heavy luggage in hand struggling. They don’t help . Just talk to each other and make jokes . Very unprofessional as a first impression. Everyday thereafter not once did they greet guests . Arrogant and disrespectful. Promised Bar credit. .but this was a problem because they were upgrading software etc making their offer null and void . Misrepresentation . Housekeeping removed some of items ( shopping bags from The savoy and Harrods etc thinking it was rubbish . They were not in the bin ! Savoy shopping bag especially sentimental they removed . Very questionable to the intent .still waiting for a resolution. Asked receptionist to call Housekeeping to please please make our room . Well she forgot ! Nothing done ! Unacceptable for the rates paid . I feel lack of staff training and taking personal responsibility is the key issue here ! So many choices in Times Square !

Came early to ask for an early check-in and was greatest by the rudest staff i have ever seen in 2 decades of traveling to 5 star resorts over the world. Go spend your money somewhere else. There’s plenty of hotels in NYC.

The location was great. The beds were comfortable. The shower was nice!

It was so hard to find and since it’s open to the public, it was so very congested. The elevators were always filled and took sooooo long to arrive. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all almost empty and noone refilled it. It’s also hard to find from the street because there is no large “M social” sign like advertised.

A great location. Modern clean and friendly. The roof top terrace overlooking Times Square was our special place every day for coffee or a drink.

Es gibt keine bezahlbaren Parkplätze in der Nähe (mindestens 80$ pro Tag). Ganz schlecht war die Aufzugsituation. Zwei der vier Aufzuge waren immer außer Betrieb. Wir wohnten auf der 19. Etage und haben bis zu 40 Minuten auf den Aufzug gewartet. Ohne Gepäck haben wir die Treppe genommen, die ie allerdings sehr schlecht ausgeschildert ist. Ansonsten ein super Hotel

Location of you want to be close to Times Square. Easy access to buses and subway trains.

It’s pretty dirty outside (and smelly) like most of the places close to Times Square. It also took a long time to get into the elevator (despite having four of them!)

El hotel no tiene acceso directo desde la calle, tienes que subir unas plantas en un primer ascensor para llegar al hotel y desde allí coger otro ascensor para subir a las habitaciones. La espers en los ascensores puede ser larga.

Hotel con una posizione eccezionale! Camera molto bella e grande per gli standard di new York. Bagno con una doccia grande. Vista su Times Square impagabile.

Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, pulizia non eccezionale, potrebbe migliorare perché c'era polvere su alcune mensole in bagno o alcuni capelli sul davanzale. Un'altra piccola cosa che non mi è piaciuta è che sono andato al bar la sera, 2 minuti prima della chiusura, ma il barista non ha voluto servirmi ed è stato scorbutico.

Alojamiento muy bien situado. Rodeado de todas las obras de Broadway en pleno Times Square.

En momentos puntuales los ascensores se saturaban y era mejor bajar por las escaleras, subir no quedaba otra que esperar. La limpieza de las habitaciones regular tirando a bien, un poco más de dedicación se agradecería.

Hotel is very comfortable. Rooms are specious. Location was great – right by Times Sq which was perfect for us as we were in town mostly for the theatre. There is a convenient store with essential supplies right below the hotel which was very useful

The A/C is turned to a very low temperature, is was August and yet – we were freezing. The Elevators were always busy and we had to wait a very long time to get downstairs. There’s no kettle in the room to make tea/coffee

Room was ok but there must be a mirror in the room yet there was none, we had to go to the bathroom for mirror usage. Location was really perfect. View was very satisfactory. Noise isolation was good also.

1-) For all 11 nights of stay we had suffered, with the other guests, from the elevators. Although there are 4 of them only 2 were operating and it was really uncomfortable and time consuming. 2-) It was not enabled to control air conditioner in the corridor connecting the two rooms and it was continuously blowing very cold air in very high flow, decreasing the temperature in this small hall too much. 3-) The air conditioner in the room, when closed by the OFF button still blows cold air in the midnight, which nearly made us get caught.

Nice view and nice staff ..but it’s almost a month now and o didn’t get my deposit back which is 500 US dollar for 5 night .. it’s too big amount to hold 100 US dollar fir each day ( I habe two booking ) .. untill now my money not accredited to my credit card .. which is not accepted

Unser Zimmer war wirklich nicht sauber, in der Duschkabine gab es Ungeziefer und auf dem Lacken unter dem ersten Bettlacken gab es einen grossen braunen Fleck auf der Seite, das wurde also länger nicht gewaschen und einfach überdeckt. Allgemein hatte es überall im Zimmer unbekannte Flecken auf den Möbeln und Teppich.

A very spacious room; you can't hear the neighbors—it's well soundproofed. The staff was very friendly; even though the "Do Not Disturb" sign was up, they left clean towels on my door.

The internet connection is occasionally slow, so if you're working online, some programs might not load properly. The elevators are constantly busy, so it takes quite a while to get to your room or go outside.

Our room was on the 30th floor and the view of times square was amazing! The location is great and super convenient. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed, and you can ask for a coffee maker for your room if you want. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

De cuatro ascensores había dos que no funcionaban. El loby está en el quinto piso y fue realmente muy incómodo. Fueron cuatro días en los que se demoraba hasta 40 minutos en subir o bajar. Muy incómodo. Recien al quinto día arreglaron un scensor. La limpieza fue regular; el jabón líquido se acabó al tercer día y nunca lo repusieron.

Ein tolles Hotel in einer zentralen Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, groß und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat eine große Auswahl. Die Hotelbar ist einfach nur spitze!

Der Frühstücksraum könnte etwas größer sein. Bei Stoßzeiten muss etwas warten ca.10 Minuten, ist aber nicht so schlimm.

My wife and I liked everything referring to M Social.

Had a 4-day reservation. Checked out after first night. Elevators did not work. Three of four were not working. Room was not ready for use: the a/c did not work. It was locked in at 69 degrees. Only alternative was to turn a/c off. Toilet seat broken. Walk-in shower floor so slippery and no shower grab bar. No drinking glasses in the room, not even paper glasses/cups. We checked out early after one night in the hotel. Manager offered to move us to another room, but maintenance issues exacerbated the uncertainty and anxiety over elevator issues. How does a hotel operate when its elevators are so unreliable as to go out of service at the same time.

Location! Large rooms. Room setup is convenient - king size bed, couch, desk appropriate for working, fridge, safe and spacious bathroom/shower. View (river view). The lobby and it's porch.

2 of the 4 elevators were not working for tbe week. The rooms and corridors are ok, but they are starting to show the wear and tear of the years gone by.

Nous sommes restés 7 nuits dans cet hôtel et, malheureusement, pratiquement chaque jour, nous avons rencontré un problème. Un matin, nous avons été réveillés à 7h30 par des bruits de marteau incessants : des travaux étaient en cours à l’étage. Difficile de commencer sa journée sereinement lorsque l’on est en vacances ! Un autre jour, nous avons été réveillés à 4h du matin par des bruits provenant du plafond, liés semble-t-il à un problème de pression dans les tuyaux. À chaque fois, le personnel de maintenance a fait son possible pour résoudre rapidement les problèmes, et nous les en remercions. Néanmoins, nous étions en vacances et n’avions pas spécialement envie de devoir composer avec autant de désagréments pendant notre séjour. Autre point particulièrement gênant : sur les 4 ascenseurs de l’hôtel, seulement 2 ont fonctionné pendant 4 jours sur notre semaine de séjour. Étant au 33e étage, nous avons dû patienter quotidiennement pour pouvoir monter ou descendre. Le summum a été le jour du check-out : à 11h, nous avons attendu plus de 25 minutes pour pouvoir prendre l’ascenseur avec nos bagages. Enfin, nous avons également été déçus par l’attitude du manager à l’accueil. Un soir (jeudi 17/08) alors qu'il devait gérer les problèmes rencontrés par deux familles insatisfaites à leur arrivée. Je n’ai malheureusement pas trouvé sa manière de gérer ces situations, particulièrement agréable, ni très orientée vers la satisfaction des clients. C’est vraiment dommage, car cet hôtel avait tout pour nous plaire et aurait pu être une excellente expérience. Malheureusement, l’accumulation de ces différents problèmes a quelque peu gâché notre séjour et, malgré les efforts de certains personnels, nous ne reviendrons pas.

The location was excellent, the rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff on our floor were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

The only minor issue was that the water dispenser on our floor had an extremely slow flow, so filling a bottle took a very long time.

Abbiamo apprezzato le dimensioni della camera, cosa non scontata a New York. La posizione strategica per visitare la città. La terrazza con una splendida vista su Times Square dove puoi sorseggiare un cocktail e ascoltare musica dopo aver cenato al ristorante.
