Blick in den Schacht vom Innenhof hätte etwas netter sein können. Die Gegend um den Union Square ist tatsächlich komplett voll mit Drogenabhängigen, was aber nicht die Schuld des Hotels ist, trotzdem teilweise etwas unangenehm.

You can’t beat the location. The staff is so friendly and professional. The building is absolutely gorgeous- and the parking is convenient and secure.

Since I brought a car, it was difficult to park before checking in. There was some confusion at the garage, but all in all not too bad.

We stayed in room 560. The building is historic and the hotel is very nice! the location is perfect. It's within walking distance from union square, restaurants, shops. We were on the 5th floor facing Geary St and had a pretty amazing view! The pool was beautiful!

Be aware...There was a $67 fee for using the valet and parking in their parking garage! That information was not disclosed. I chose this hotel, partly because it had on site parking, so it was disappointing to get stuck with a $67 fee. I paid it because it was convenient, but was NOT happy about it! They also charged a $50 deposit, which was also not disclosed prior. I feel like they should tell you upfront what fees you will be charged so that you are prepared and not caught off guard. The bathroom door was difficult to open/close, it got stuck.

Tolle Lage, gute Ausstattung, angenehmer, beheizter Pool und Sauna. Wunderbares Personal, alle sehr freundlich, besonderer Dank geht an Judy - sie hat uns sehr gut beraten und sich toll um uns gekümmert :)! Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Staff were all friendly, facilities were good and location was great lots of restaurants and bars easily accessible to other parts of San Fran.

There was a little bit of a smell in the room but it was otherwise clean and very spacious

Comoda la posizione.

La stanza non era molto pulita, abbiamo avuto dei problemi al riscaldamento e ci hanno cambiato stanza. Presenza di moquette ovunque che rende impossibile pulire accuratamente e ritengo che possano implementare i loro servizi di pulizia poiché i bagni, i comodini e tutti gli oggetti di arredamento non venivano puliti quotidianamente, addirittura lasciando delle tazze sporche le abbiamo ritrovate in stanza.

Le service de parking est très bien mais un peu cher...

Location close to Union Square is great, but unfortunately too close to the Tenderloin for the area to be considered safe. Many close encounters with Fent zomies close to the door made this a challenging location. Stay away.

Rooms were dusty and mouldy. By the end of my four night stay my allergies were killing me, just because the rooms were tired and poorly maintained.

Nous avons apprécié son emplacement. Union Square est central pour visiter SF. L'amabilité du personnel à l'accueil. Possibilité de laisser les bagages gratuitement le dernier jour lorsque l'on repart en fin de journée.

Hébergés dans la partie historique de l'hôtel donc la plus ancienne (façade avant) , chambres propres mais cadre ancien et sombre. Nous avons découvert la seconde partie + moderne derrière....donc frustrés de ne pas en avoir bénéficié 2 chambres : pas de possibilité d'avoir les chambres côte à côte, dommage sur 3 nuits avec des enfants ! Piscine non testée ( Température trop basse) mais surpris par la taille réelle comparée à la photo de l'annonce. Elle est beaucoup plus petite mais le cadre reste sympathique. Manque un espace d'accueil plus grand où l'on peut manger, boire un café en dehors des chambres.

We were in the older section but it has great street access to about a half dozen amazing restaurants and the car rental places were a block away. Room was spotless and we had a very cool balcony overlooking the city.

The access to the section we stayed had stairs which was hard for luggage.but they have an old lift we used, it was easy, no big deal

Nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très sympathique, les femmes de ménage nettoient les chambres tous les jours et de façon très appliquée, l'hôtel est bien situé pour découvrir San Francisco, la salle de sport, la piscine et le hammam sont un plus tout comme le fait que les taxis/ubers/véhicules de location puissent stationner facilement devant. Café et boisson fraîche disponibles dans le halle d'entrée gratuitement tout comme des machines à glaçons.

Un micro-onde serait un plus dans les chambres tout comme des tv récentes proposant des plateformes de streaming vidéo, parce que uniquement des chaînes américaines, c'est bof :)

The hotel needs a refurbishment. Its very dated. The staff are great and the cleaners do very well, but the hotwl needs a complete overhaul as its outdated and the decor looks dirty because its old.

Nice Room & Location, But a Few Frustrating Issues We booked the Handlery Union Square Hotel very last minute after deciding to stay an extra day in San Francisco after dropping our daughter off at USF for college. Overall, there were things we really liked about the hotel, but also a couple of issues that made the stay more frustrating than it needed to be. We booked a Premier King room with a balcony and pool view for $212.97, not including parking. The room itself was actually very nice. It was comfortable, spacious, and the balcony overlooking the pool was a nice bonus, especially for a last-minute reservation in Union Square. The staff at check-in was friendly, but the parking situation was confusing. Parking was $77, but because we didn’t have our parking ticket with us at the desk, we were initially told we would need to be charged $87. I couldn’t understand why not having the ticket would suddenly make parking cost an additional $10, and after going back and forth trying to figure it out, a $50 hold was placed on my card instead. I still don’t really understand what the $50 hold had to do with the $77 parking charge. The interaction wasn’t rude, just unnecessarily confusing. On a positive note, the bellman was extremely courteous, and the parking attendant was also very friendly and helpful. The biggest issue with the room was the bathtub. The drain was extremely slow, to the point that while showering the water continued rising until it was almost up to my shins. Unfortunately, it was around 1 AM by that point, and after a very long day, I simply didn’t have the energy to call downstairs and deal with it. We also had to check out very early the next morning for an Alcatraz tour, so I didn’t have an opportunity to bring it up before leaving. Aside from the bathtub and the confusing parking situation, we enjoyed the room and the location. The hotel has a lot going for it, and the staff members we interacted with were pleasant. With better communication regarding parking and a little more attention to room maintenance, our experience would have been much better. For $212.97 plus $77 parking, I do think it’s reasonable to expect the plumbing to work properly and the parking charges to be clearly explained. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a great location, just with a couple of issues that kept it from being a great one.

Checked out of my room and they stored my luggage while we shopped nearby. But we were not allowed to use the restrooms when we retrieved our luggage.

Everything from staff to housekeeping was excellent. This is my second time staying, and it will always be my go-to hotel while in San Francisco.

Bed was comfortable, room was basic but clean. Location was outstanding! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. Although this hotel does not offer breakfast, there were discount offers to excellent local restaurants and cafes that we used and loved.

Outdoor pool facilities were quite basic. TV did not offer a guide to what was on, only what channels were available. Air conditioning was tricky to use and didn't have a guide.

The location was good. The parking people were great.

Paint chipping and falling into shower. Ac didn’t work. Room stayed very warm. The pool wasn’t heated to 80 degrees. Very cold actually.

レセプションから部屋のある別館へ移る際に、20段ほど階段を使わなければならなかった。重たいスーツケースを持って階段はキツイ。

The hotel needs to review customer safety. Balcony door wouldn’t lock. And the main door wouldn’t double lock at night.

Die Lage des Hotels ist unschlagbar, Sowohl Bus- als auch U-Bahn- und CableCars in unmittelbarer Nähe, genauso wie Supermärkte und Apotheken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet und die Zimmer sind groß. Wir hatten einen Balkon direkt zum Indoor-Pool im Innenhof. Die Rezeption ist 24h besetzt und unkompliziert.

Sauna and pool were really nice, perfect after a busy couple of days sightseeing. Great location too .. close to everything. Staff friendly also. No breakfast but found a lovely crepe restaurant 5 mins from hotel.

Gezellig en mooi familiehotel op een geweldige locatie dicht bij Union Square, nabij winkels en de bekende Cable carts. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Er was een kleine issue met de kamer (buiten de schuld van het hotel). We kregen direct een andere kamer mét upgrade. Geweldige service! Het zwembad is heerlijk en schoon, heel fijn na een lange warme dag in de stad. De Waymo stopt voor de deur van het hotel, een leuke experience om zo de stad te bezichtigen. We raden dit hotel van harte aan!

We had a great stay! The staff were super friendly and the pool was wonderful. In fact our room was right outside the pool which really made it nice. It was a great location we walked everywhere and very close to the trolley stop to go to the marina and walk to china town.

The room was very very small and we had all the ac noise because it was facing another building. The usually don’t get the nicest room when staying in 1 room (2 kids 2 adults) but this was worse than average

I loved the location, and the amenities

It was very confusing getting to my room I was not given directions, also for the amenities I wasn’t aware of where they were or the times they operate I had to find them myself , also the room that I purchased said that I would have a view, but I didn’t even have a window looking outside it was facing the pool so that’s what I seen when I looked out of the window balcony or whatever it was and also I don’t have anything against children, but being right over the pool was very loud. Also parking was expensive it should’ve been included with the price of the room

Parking - $70 dollars per day! When most garages charge $45? Just an extra money making scheme rather than looking after your guests. Description made it sound like there was a laundry room guests could use, there wasn't... Instead they charged $10 per item if you want anything washing. Pool is not heated.

Fijne locatie, heel centraal. We hadden twee kamers dicht bij elkaar. De een heel ruim en de ander weer helemaal niet. Het was wel schoon. De valetparking was fijn, vriendelijke mannen. Ook achter de receptie vriendelijke mensen. Goede tips en korting voor ontbijt bij tentjes in de buurt.

泊った部屋の正面も宿で景色がなく常にカーテンを閉めなければならなかった。 できれば電子レンジが欲しかった。 建物が古いせいか室内のドアはことごとく閉まりが悪かった。 エアコンの調節が実質的にできなかった。しかも水が滴りこぼれていた。

Am Hotel gibt es nichts auszusetzen, vor dem Hotel viel Armut, Obdachlosigkeit und Drogenprobleme - hat aber mit der Stadt zu tun, nicht mit dem Hotel...

Piscine horrible et en travaux. Rien a voir avec les photos. Les prises pour chargeurs ne peuvent pas tenir les chargeurs. Il faut y mettre un support pour faire tenir les chargeurs de tel ou PC.
