Loved the location and decor
Was quite cold in the bar area but the lovely staff switched off the air conditioning for me
Proximidade com o porto para quem vai pegar um navio de cruzeiro. Uma curta caminhada e vc estará no pier.

Location and breakfast
Busy
Great location for visit to Isle of Wight and cruise terminal
We came back after an evening meal to find we could not get a drink in the bar , was only about 10 pm ?
Lovely place to stop
Close to every thing
Location is great, for access to the ports and for sightseeing
Nothing really
The hotel was so convenient for our cruise the next day. The young Asian lady on reception was so friendly and professional and was very helpful. Car parking was extremely reasonable for the night and breakfast at £15 each was good value.
Bathroom was huge. Bedroom facilities were lovely. Room was quiet. Room Service excellent.
Emptying the bath caused the shower trap to overflow and flood.
It was a wonderful experience to stay in the hotel for us! ☺️ The train station is just a few minutes and it was easy to get there even in a wheelchair and with an extra large luggage! ;) The people who are working there are so so friendly and welcoming,we were instantly felt like home! ☺️ And the room,it was so cozy and comfortable,we had an amazing sleep!😊 It was in this hotel where we had our first English breakfast ever and let me tell you,it was next level good! ;) They helped us with a taxi to the cruise port because it was pouring rain in the morning,so for us it meant a lot that they were going above and beyond just to help us and make our day easier! 🥰 We hope that we can stay here again in the future because it really was lovely and amazing! ☺️ Oh and a few minutes from the hotel, there is a legendary pub called the Dancing Man Brewery,do not miss it if you’re there! 🍻🥰 Thank you so very much Leonardo Hotel for taking such great care of us! 🥰
There for a conference. Great facilities. Friendly staff. Got a room upgrade too which was amazing!
Beautiful hotel and dinner at Marco pierre steakhouse was fantastic and breakfast was lovely
The spa was dated and old and didn't appear clean
Love this place every one frendly lovely and cleanplace
Think the breakfast is too expensive
Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.
No option for filtered or barista coffee (only standard from the machine). Convenient but not particularly nice coffee.
Breakfast good. Location excellent. Moved from first room as curtains wouldn’t close and TV wouldn’t work
Staff were very welcoming and efficient
I had excellent service from the hotel receptionist and I’m utterly grateful for having been upgraded to the executive room as I was staying for a major conference. Thank you for the complimentary chocolates and drinks. Much appreciated.
All good; breakfast is standard but good
The location, helpful staff, nice comfortable room. Easy checkout.

We got a free upgrade and a view of the port, complimentary drinks and a discount on breakfast
Access to the pool, should have a lift as I'm not good with stairs. I thought the guy who gave you the towels had a bit of an attitude but the rest of the staff were lovely
great
everything
We spent 1 night here before boarding our cruise ship. It is very close to the cruise terminal, and a short walk to many restaurants.
The hotel keep trying to upsell us additional services
Large room, good facilities, very good breakfast, excellent location, convenient parking
The balcony
I stayed here the night before boarding a cruise and this location was perfect with only a 10 minutes walk to the cruise terminal over fairly flat pavements. The venue also gave me a 15% discount voucher for food and drink and a voucher for each guest for a free drink which was a welcome surprise.
The room was advertised as having 2 double beds and although that was strictly accurate, the beds were the smallest double beds available with barely enough room for me and my wife in one bed!
Room was lovely and clean and breakfast was lovely
We couldn't use the pool facilities until check in
Thank you to Guest Relations manager for the final touches and upgrade for our mini honeymoon. Nice to have a shower and bath separate in the bathroom.
Shower door was not on its hinges, def been like that for a while, when you close it, it fell on you.
It was in an excellent location to get on our cruise ship.
The breakfast was lukewarm
Location was perfect for our needs & the view from our balcony was fantastic
The light inside the room was very dark. No main light at all & no light around the desk which made it difficult to work or style/dry my hair
Good location and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.
Disappointed that the swimming pool was out of use as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel.
The breakfast was very good. The staff on reception were very helpful. Liked the chocolates in the room and the complimentary drinks
Our shower was faulty and difficult to turn off so my friend had very hot water sprayed on her. We reported it and it was fixed by the next day. The carpet outside the bathroom was permanently wet so there was obviously a leak under the floor. Also our beds were not made while we were there. On the second day we put the ‘please service our room’ sign on the door but they were still not made.
We loved the location, the giant room and bathroom with shower and tube. Great value for money, friendly staff, clean hotel.
They should install air-conditioning
Location
Decor, clean, staff so helpful and kind to my naughty granddaughter 🙈

Location is perfect.
Lovely looking building in a fantastic location for us. Front of staff when we arrived were excellent and staff for breakfast were very efficient. Can’t fault the choice for breakfast and the breakfast itself.
Duvet cover was split and needed replacing, disappointed that the sauna wasn’t working and the Spa team didn’t mention it. But overall a really good morning before we checked out.
Good location. Short walk to town centre. Hotel was nice.
The staff weren't very helpful when asking for a late checkout, but got sorted in the end.
Location
Was no different from a cheaper hotel
Upgraded to room with balcony
Dated bathroom Food in restaurant poor and pricey
Great location, have used previously. Room comfortable. Breakfast good.
Service slow at Leo’s - ignored until we made a fuss unfortunately. It was early evening and not particularly busy, so not sure why there was a problem. Others seemed to get served quicker. It is unclear whether we needed to order food and drink at the bar, or if it was a waited on area as both were happening. Food, when it arrived, was cold and not fully cooked (fish that should have been). Manager offered us not to pay for undercooked food (as we would expect) but really disappointed with this level of hotel.
Location... Room. Size bed comfy
The adjoining room had a party but ended by 11
Good location and facilities. Lovely staff.

The location is exellent and the hotel has a welcoming atmosphere. The customer service is good.
The spa area did't meet my expectation. The sauna was too cold and there wasn't enough steam in the steam room. The pool area good use a bit of maintenance.
location was excellent to town centre & all eminities
The property is in a good location for the city centre and the room was clean. Isabella on reception when we checked out was absolutely amazing and friendly, she’s an asset to the hotel.
we have stayed at this hotel twice in the last 6 weeks as we were visiting family and are here from Australia. Both times when we checked in we were served by an Asian male, both times he was extreme arrogant and rude, not the kind of welcome you want when coming to check in to a hotel. Because of him we wouldn’t come back to your hotel again.

Perfect location. Had an amazing view and lovely welcome.
Enjoyed the entire stay at the hotel, nice little touches in our room, like wine and coffee pods

Originell, nettes Personal, Gratisparken, schöner Blick auf den Hafen der Lifeboats
Eher kleine Zimmer, kleines Bett
Close proximity to the cruise terminal. Pleasant outdoor space for sitting with drinks coffee etc
Room facilities had everything one could require although toilet paper was extremely thin and of very poor quality
Breakfast was good and location was great
Location was great for crusing making it easy to get on the cruise ship, Breakfast was ok
The first person at check-in was rude as we got there early and wanted to see if we can get early check in. She told us checking in time was at three and we asked her to check at which time she faked checking if any rooms were available . The next person after she left was very accommodating and got us in early.
Fantastic location, all staff were so helpful and accommodating and amazing value for money.
Nothing
We were comfortable and our needs were met easily, professionally, politely.
Our room was a bit overheated and we couldn't control the heat other than by opening the window and propping the door to the hallway open.
Proximity to the cruise terminal Nice big spacious room
Shower cubicle was very small and grout needed replacing
Great location, walking distance for all our needs. Friendly staff.
Not that we didn’t like it. Probably could do with a bit of a refurb.
Large room, comfortable beds, very good restaurant
Nothing
Location great, near Shopping mall and Red Funnel ferry terminal. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, although probably a little short in numbers.
Breakfast 100% DIY - it would have been nice for alternatives such as proper coffee tea made for you rather than having to use a machine. Freshly made eggs bendict fresh sliced fruit etc not available. Croissant Sunday morning were not fresh. £6 charge for room service - why?? Rather tired with threadbare carpets. "Welcome drink" consists of a rather underwhelming 2 DIY water containers, neither of which worked and there were no glasses!
The location is excellent, providing convenient access for cruise ship embarkation, sightseeing, and the variety of restaurants in the Southampton area.
I have no complaints regarding the establishment; all aspects of our stay were favorable.
Staff were very helpful, checkin was easy.Location was very good for both the shopping center and the cruise Terminal .The Marco Piere White restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing and good value.
Bed was not very comfortable and the Pillows were like wafers .
Location. Staff. Decor. Rooms.

What a great location for Southampton! We ended up here after car issues and got to say we’ll be coming back. So close to West Quay and some great tourist attractions. Lisa in Housekeeping was absolutely lovely as we left, treating us like old friends. The room was really well laid out, bed was so comfy and lovely touches like the Nespresso and wine. We nearly ended up in the premier Inn which would have been £50 more expensive!! So glad we didn’t!
Small issues, Staff in breakfast room not the friendliest. Thought it was just me but as we left my husband who misses most things said woah, the staff in here could be more welcoming and friendly. No butter knifes on table yep beany sausagey buttered toast is never good. Like I said very small stuff.
Great location, staff and facilities .
Bed was soft and gave me back ache
Great location, nice and clean and the staff were very friendly

Staff welcoming & friendly. I booked a standard single room & was upgraded to a superior & paid £125pn. Breakfast extra.
I booked this hotel, specifically to use the swimming pool & spa.couldnt book in till 15.00pm.I was only in the pool (10min) by 16.30 & all people thrown out & told it would be shutting for next 48hrs. Locker room doors, facilities looked down & worn + shocked by metal spiral stairwell down to pool- Absolute disgrace & unkempt,no paint on many or strip safety on edges with visible rust showing through on all areas of stairwell - Lookes unclean & unsafe like a ghetto stairwell + all poolside furniture poor & unkempt. 1)My superior bedroom- nice view from balcony, but at least x3 green standing lamps stained heavily. 2) Whilst room was nicely decorated- One wall was only painted around one hung picture..It was not painted behind picture or they ran out of paint 6-8 inches below- Very visible. 3)Bathroom/ shower had no plug in bath & by 6.30pm asked for a new plug - Reception advised one would be put in my room immediately - Never arrived - But maintenance man arrived next day 10.00am & said he would come back,as I was still in room. 4) Ordered room service 21.00pm for a £21.00 Wagu Berger & chips ( no garnish) except pot of dip + £6.00 service charge - Guess what! Arrived burnt & chips cold +salt & pepper pots for display only empty. 5)If you wanted extra Nescafé pods (only X4 in Rm)-You paid for them. Worse still if you upgraded to this room?It would cost you a further £35pn. I can say that I have worked at a Four Seasons Hotel for over 1-2 years & the fixture & fittings in this hotels-The Majestic State rooms/ bar + Reception area looks tired, worn & worn. I certainly would not have paid ?the top price of £80 for the prime cut of steak in The Anthony Worrel - Thompson Restaurant on site.
Very comfortable, friendly staff, quality breakfast . Car parking while on cruise .
Large comfortable room
No view
The hotel is located within walking distance of many sights. Close to the port.
The hotel is a little older, but still very comfortable.
Location was excellent ,really loved the vibe of Leo's marco pierre white restaurant was amazing
The steps leading down to the swimming pool were rusty and shabby and an awful smell was around the pool area the jacuzzi was unavailable and the steam room was unavailable . I understand the hotel doesn't own the spa but reflects badly on them

Very bad stain on our mattress Room 315
It was convenient to the port for cruising. Staff made us feel welcome and special in our room as it was our wedding anniversary.
Bathrooms needed attention Mold quite a bit and definitely needs looking at, not hygienic. Breakfast a disaster. Nothing to eat for GF told they had ‘ran out’ of items. Not good at all
Location perfect for the 5 min walk to the walk on ferry to lsle of Wight Everywhere in the hotel was spotless, staff helpful Good selection at breakfast
The coffe at breakfast, very bitter for my taste
Breakfast was excellent and it was particularly nice to have cheeses and cold meats available in addition to the usual cooked breakfast, cereals and pastries. Hotel is ideally placed for us en route from the Isle of Wight to join our cruise ship.
There was no plug in the bathroom wash basin, which was also badly cracked. Oddly, one of the complimentary bottles of water in our room was empty.
The location was quite convenient
I found the reception to be a little unhelpful, no option for decaf coffee at breakfast, the shower in my room was so small I gave up after the first time using it and I was horrified by the charge for laundry and the confusing way the form was set up - which ended up costing me over £70 for a few items that simply needed basic laundry service.
Close to Cruise Terminal

Love the location, atmosphere, spacious well-appointed rooms, lovely food, and staff.

We stayed for a wedding at the hotel. Room was wonderful, large and clean, very good
staff were not that friendly and gave incorrect information on parking for the wedding, that is they said we did not need to register and we did - many of the wedding party had parking fines based on staff
It’s a lovely hotel. Great location. Fridge in the room was useful. Aircon worked and as we stayed during a uk heatwave, that was welcome
Nothing
Location excellent for cruise terminal and shopping at West Quay. Staff overall very friendly. Concierge team handled numerous requests for taxis and held luggage from cruise passengers, all with a smile. They did a great job.
Had to wait for checkin. No rooms available until 14:45. Our room needed some maintenance. Water under the bathroom floor, squelching as you walked on it. Coffee maker leaked. Both minor annoyances, and passed on to guest relations.
We enjoyed dinner at the coffee shop/bar. Great location Very surprised by a personal welcome card, chocolates and nespresso coffee in our room Helpful and friendly staff
The property is crying out for an renovation Spa & pool area are nice, but need attention, with rust everywhere
Nothing!
Front desk staff are obviously only employed to take the money and not to welcome guests with friendly and memorable customer service skills. Leisure facilities closed early due to bank holiday and even though opens at 06:30am sauna doesn’t turn on till 07:45am so not hot till 08:30am. Steam room not on 2 days in a row. Outside bar area, dirty ash trays, full ash tray emptied on seat stayed like that for the hour I was there, not a comfortable place to sit with weird layout of chairs and minimal tables. Balcony door unlocked allowing easy access from surrounding balconies and the unsecured safe sitting in the cupboard can simply be lifted and carried out of the room. Dated, substandard and definitely not royal!
Just a lovely hotel and very close to cruise terminal and city centre
Convenient location, very smart generally and helpful staff. Excellent dinner at Marco Pierre White Steakhouse. Nice surprise to find complimentary wine and chocolates in our room. Concierge and reception staff very good.
The bedroom lighting was poor, also some simple bedside reading lights could be easily installed, as in many hotels. Duvets were too heavy for August!

I liked how grand it felt in the sense of the outside of the building & the reception area. That was beautiful. The view from our room was stunning too and the breakfast was nice.
I think it just all needs a big refurb. There was a lot of cracks, a lot of things that been covered up and you could tell it had been. The bathroom needed a good deep clean, the taps were coming off from the wall and that didn’t feel safe at all. The shower heads needs to have a deep clean too cos the limescale was so bad. The shower I think is too small and you are unable to move the shower head around so I think it needs to be upgraded so you have the option of moving the head around & the shower space in general needs to be bigger cos it was quite small. I went swimming as well and that was gross. The changing rooms and the showers felt like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, the pool wasn’t heated and the stairs leading to the pool were super mouldy and rusty so needs a new floor fitted or a deep clean. The whole area needs a big deep clean.
Good value for money

Good location for a pre cruise stay. Close to town and the Red Funnel ferry to the Isle of Wright.
