Location was amazing. Terrace had amazing views.

Rooms are fairly small. I also had a challenge where they didn’t end up with availability the first night, so had to split my time between two hotels. They sorted it for me, but took a few phone calls!

The room balcony was very hard to access because of the position of the bed and balcony door were very close together as you could not leave it open to use it very unfortunately

Property was fully equipped with everything we needed, comfy bed and nice bathroom with a big window. The pool a bit small and the walls are so high you can’t see the view when you’re in there, but if you just want to cool down it’s no problem. Their rooftop bar was amazing, we had a great night dancing to the live music and the cocktails were great. Very nicely situated in Nice old town close to all the action.

Location a few blocks from sea and promenade and close to old town. Especially for the Ironman Village just in front of hotel. Plus loved the terrace bar and restaurant

My door was difficult to open for me a woman of over 75. I had to give it a kick. The metal was a bit twisted. Told the hotel, but didn’t fix it.

Set up of the bathrooms in the junior suites. No sink with the toilet. You have to go to the other room.AC wasn’t very strong in our room but it was better than no having one at all.

Ultra bruyant (bruit de la rue et de la climatisation dont le modèle date de plusieurs année me semble-t-il). Et dommage quand on colle 2 lits simples de ne pas mettre un surmatelas double pour éviter d'avoir un trou au milieu.

Nous avons reçu une chambre plus spacieuse que ce que nous avions réservé initialement. La décoration était très belle, la literie confortable et nous n'avons pas été gênées par le bruit des autres usagers ni par le bruit de la rue (le dimanche matin). La salle de bain était spacieuse et lumineuse grâce à une fenêtre opaque qui donnait sur la chambre. Le restaurant sur le toit a une vue époustouflante et le repas était très bon, servi dans une ambiance festive et décontractée mais professionnelle, un vrai bonheur. Le départ à 11h est très appréciable.

Beautiful art deco building in a fantastic location just 200 yards from Place Massena and all its Cafes and Gallery Lafayette. We sat on the roof Moon Bar last night looking out over the old town watching planes flying to land. Lovely pool on the roof with sun loungers and bar. 6 minute walk to Place Rosetti and similar time to the Beach. Hotel has 2 excellent lifts. The rooms were very clean ( we had 2) Had problems working the card entry to the rooms and others did. But plenty of lovely clean towels, bath robes and slippers and little complementary vanity items. Very nice bar fridge.

Nothing to not like. All the staff were excellent, very polite and enthusiastic from the receptionists to the cleaning staff. Would love to go again

الشي المؤسف ان المرافق قديمة والتكيف لايعمل بشكل جيد وتعامل الموظفين جدا سيئ كما ان صندوق الامانات غير امن ويمكن فتحه بسهولة جدا كما ان الافطار جدا اقل من المتوقع ولايوجد به اصناف متعدده وكان الفطار متكراا يوميا اما الحمام السياحه لايصلح للسباحة صغير جدا

Die Lage befindet sich an einem Zentralen Platz; beim Führstück war ein Haar in den Scrambled eggs; Koffeinfreien Kaffe gibt es nur in Pulverform;

unser Zimmer war verschmutzt; schmutzige Handtücher, Intimhaare im ganzen Badezimmer, kaputter Toilettensitz; sehr unfreundliches Personal bei einem konstruktiven Gespräch über die Missstände

Location and room

The staff were terrible. They checked us into a room not finished. No wifi info. No breakfast info and when we inquired, they were told us we didn’t have breakfast included. I showed them our booking and then they said they’d do a favour and give it to us! On checkout they said we’d used the mini bar and we hadn’t. Then refused to give us an invoice, so I guess they included the minibar in the city tax ?

Der Aufenthalt war eine einzige Enttäuschung. Im Badezimmer hat es penetrant nach Fäkalien gerochen, die Fugen waren schwarz verfärbt, die Armaturen ungepflegt und die Regendusche derart verkalkt und verschmutzt, dass man sich ernsthaft fragt, wann dort zuletzt gründlich gereinigt wurde. Die Fotos sagen eigentlich alles. Dazu stand in meinem Zimmer, obwohl ich alleine gereist bin, ein aufgeklapptes drittes Bett herum – als hätte man vergessen, das Zimmer überhaupt ordentlich herzurichten. Das eigentliche Bett war außerdem komplett durchgelegen und entsprechend unbequem. Für ein angebliches 4-Sterne-Hotel ist das schlicht peinlich. Sauberkeit, Zustand und Schlafkomfort waren dem Preisniveau in keiner Weise angemessen. Preis-Leistung: katastrophal. Würde ich definitiv nicht noch einmal buchen.

Super asukoht ja suured toad. Mugavad voodid. Bassein on väga suureks boonuseks. Hea hommikusöök, palju valikut. Toad on veidi out of date, aga sobivad hotelli vintage kujundusega kokku. Väga puhas.

Basseiniala oli veidi kitsas ja palav, aga siiski nautisime seda.

I wish to express my dissatisfaction with my stay at the La Aston Scala in Nice, and I am notifying both you and Booking.com of these concerns. Several issues arose during my occupancy that I found to be unacceptable and not in line with expected standards. Firstly, on at least two of the initial three nights (iam still here fir one more evening) of my stay, the room emitted a distinct and unpleasant odor, reminiscent of a "sewer." Secondly, the internet service was non-functional upon my arrival. It was onlv after I specifically instructed the front desk via emai to reset the router that the service became operational and has since performed adequately.

Hotel très bien situé, proche de la plage, de la vieille ville et de la rue principale. Personnel très accueillant. Aucun bruit la nuit dans les chambres. Superbe vue depuis le rooftop.

Fantastisk beliggenhethet. Kort vei til strand, resturanger eller shopping. Lite støy og fantastisk frukost og veldig god mat på takterrassen. Fint hotell, nydelig utsikt fra takterrraee med basseng. Veldig hjelpsomme og hyggelige personale. Sitter i elektrisk rullestol og dette hotellet var godt tilrettelagt. Vanlige rom var større enn handicaprom og passet oss bedre med elektriskstol. Sengene var høye så derfor lett med forflytning og lett for de som hjelpte iforhold til arbeidsstilling. Ville foretrukket handicap rom om du sitter i manuell stol . Funnet vårt favoritthotell om kommer tilbake

We requested a double bed but received two twin beds pushed against each other and they were completely different heights and mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Also the room obviously has not been thoroughly cleaned as there were coffee splashes on the floor

Nous avions réservé 2 suites , une pour nous une pour nos 3petites filles (13 ans)en demandant lors de la réservation faite 4 mois auparavant d'être au même étage et nous étions à des étages différents sans explications - Accueil très médiocre du personnel de l'accueil à notre arrivée - pas du tout Robinetteries HS ( uniquement eau bouillante dans l'une et pas d'eau chaude dans la seconde uniquement froide)) - aucun produit dans les salles de bain on a même dû demander des kleenex - TV brouillée- -canapé dégradé dans une suite - pas de fer à repasser ni de machine à café dans une suite -on a dû demander une paire de drap qui n'était pas dans la chambre - les chasses d'eau de nos 2 suites cassées - les petits déjeuners étaient compris mais on est venu nous dire que nous ne les avions pas payés en pleine salle du restaurant il a fallu que nous lui fassions voir notre réservation- pas d'accès au téléphone pour obtenir la réception ni d'une chambre à l'autre la liste n'est pas exhaustive !!

L’emplacement de l’hôtel, l’accueil du personnel et le petit-déjeuner.

Les horaires d’ouverture de la piscine (9h/17h), cela est dommage de la fermer si tôt … De plus, il manque de mes prises dans les salles de bains des chambres.

La chambre réservée le 19 avril pour un séjour le 19 août ne correspondait, ni par son étage (3ème), ni par son confort à ce à quoi nous avions été habitués lors de nos précédents séjours en 2024 et 2025. Le travail des femmes de chambre était baclé avec le ménage fait parfois à 15h. En 4 jours un des deux ascenseurs qui refusait de s'arrêter au niveau 3 n'a pas été réparé.

No disponen de parking en el hotel, te mandan a uno publico, pero si el primero esta lleno a uno (Plaza) que es privado, cuesta unos 60 euros, pero mas adelante hay otro que es publico (Casino) que nos costo unos 30 euros

Staff, facilities and location is great.

Only negative would be the double bed that is actually 2 x single mattresses. It kept coming apart during the night. Apart from that all good.

Egyetlen negatívum, hogy a tetőtéri medence csak 17 óràig hasznalható, pedig a vendégek szívesen hasznàlnàk egy fàrasztó nap utàn az esti óràkban is.

Very central location with an olde worlde charm. Excellent staff and we loved the moon bar and the rooftop live music. Charming!

The pool is smaller than it looks and the water in the entrance was quite dirty. A few bits and bobs in the hotel were falling apart like a cracked glass desk and screws on the floor of our bathroom and the taps basically coming off if you try to use them in the ladies loos by the pool. But the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.

Pool area was very small and busy, so was hard to make use of it. Staff not the most attentive in the pool/ bar area. Decided not to get a drink as noone was serving. Room was a little small for a location to put a suitcase.

Podczas naszego pobytu w Nicei spotkała nas sytuacja, której absolutnie nie spodziewaliśmy się po hotelu, któremu powierzyliśmy pieniądze i od którego mieliśmy prawo oczekiwać normalnych, bezpiecznych i higienicznych warunków. Po przyjeździe otrzymaliśmy pokój, w którym od razu wyczuwalny był bardzo silny, nieprzyjemny zapach wilgoci i pleśni. Warunki były dla nas nie do zaakceptowania. Zamiast komfortowego pokoju, za który zapłaciliśmy, znaleźliśmy się w pomieszczeniu, w którym trudno było normalnie przebywać. Dodatkowym rozczarowaniem był widok z pokoju. Zamiast warunków odpowiadających naszym oczekiwaniom otrzymaliśmy widok bezpośrednio na dach i urządzenia klimatyzacyjne. Całość sprawiała wrażenie pokoju o zdecydowanie niższym standardzie, niż ten, za który zapłaciliśmy. Najbardziej bulwersujące było jednak zachowanie hotelu po zgłoszeniu przez nas problemu. Nie zaakceptowaliśmy pokoju ze względu na panujące w nim warunki i oczekiwaliśmy uczciwego rozwiązania sytuacji oraz zwrotu zapłaconych pieniędzy. Hotel nie chciał jednak dokonać zwrotu kosztów. Nie zamierzamy pozostawić tej sprawy bez dalszego działania. Będziemy dochodzić zwrotu poniesionych kosztów, a jeżeli hotel nadal będzie odmawiał polubownego rozwiązania sprawy, jesteśmy przygotowani do dochodzenia naszych praw na drodze prawnej. Nie żądamy niczego ponad to, co uważamy za oczywiste i sprawiedliwe: zwrotu pieniędzy za usługę, która w naszej ocenie nie została wykonana w warunkach odpowiadających temu, za co zapłaciliśmy. Posiadamy dokumentację dotyczącą pobytu i zamierzamy konsekwentnie dochodzić swoich praw.

Wszystko mi się tam nie podobało najgorsza obsługa jaką przeżyłam w hotelu.

L’emplacement. Le personnel est plutôt sympathique, souriant et agréable.

La propreté est moyenne. J’avais un cafard dans ma chambre. Le drap était mal lavé car une tache rouge (sang ? Vin ? Rouge à lèvre ? Je ne sais pas vraiment) était encore présente sur le drap de la couverture à mon arrivée. Les équipements en général sont obsolètes.

Läget är mycket bra!

WiFi - som endast kunde nås från en plats i rummet (toalettstolen). Fungerade uselt dåligt! Har påpekat för personalen varje dag och svaret jag fått är att de aldrig har fått några klagomål. Städningen - gjordes mycket sent på dagen med väldigt blandat resultat. Husfrun har inte lärt städteamet hur städning av rummen skall göras. Personal - Nonchalant som inte agerar på klagomål. Bilderna på boendet stämmer inte med verkligheten.

Fantastic location - less than 5 min walk from the tram stop and from the old town and has a stunning view from the pool area.

Problème d'accès à la chambre car badge qui dysfonctionne malgré plusieurs essais. Piscine plus accessible après 17 h, ce qui est extrêmement tôt au motif que les chaises longues doivent être enlevé. Il serait aimable de laisser tout de même l'accès au bassin pour pourvoir se rafraîchir. Salle du petit déjeuner bruyante.

Nous avons été déçu de la piscine : aucun parasol en plein été (contrairement au photos sur le site internet), piscine avec les bords tachés, fermeture à 17h au mois d’août … le téléphone de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas, nous avons dû nous rendre à l’accueil pour demander plus de cintres et du café soluble à deux reprises … la literie était très bonne mais la salle de bain viellotte … personnel pas toujours aimable … aucune demande à la sortie de savoir comment notre séjour s’est passé…

Overall, the hotel was lovely - very stylish public areas, lovely roof-top bar, even though the "pool" was a lot smaller than I remembered! Good breakfast. Room was fine, although the safe did go wrong, hotel got it fixed within the hour

Seul la réception, les femmes de chambre et la cheffe du restaurant est réellement attentive et à l’écoute. La carte du restaurant au QR code est pas à jour.

Klimatyzacja w pokoju nie działała, dopiero następnego dnia, po gorącej nocy, z pewną niechęcią obsługa zmieniła pokój. Czarny grzyb na suficie i fugach w łazience. Dużo usterek technicznych na zdjęciach. Dziury z pokryciach łóżek. Basen na dachu, mimo że widok z tarasu jest wspaniały, miał bardzo mętny kolor i był dosyć brudny.

The location and nothing else. The rooftop bar was magical.

The reception manager (a middle-aged man) was arrogant when we checked out. He wanted to charge me for rooftop bar services I hadn’t used. We were always paying in cash. So we left for our next destination, and they charged us for the rooftop bar service without our consent. Unbelievable for a hotel like this in France. I called them from Spain to discuss, but they ignored me. They told me to send an email and said they would look into it. They still do.

La piscina in terrazza è molto più piccola di come appare nelle foto, non siamo riusciti ad utilizzarla perché c’era molta gente e pochi posti disponibili per le sdraio, peccato.

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De kamers zijn brandschoon, elke dag schone handdoeken en een goed werkende airco. De ligging van het hotel is perfect. Het strand en centrum op loopafstand.

Het dakterras is leuk, echter zeer heet in de zomermaanden. Jammer dat de ligbedden pal in de zon staan en er geen mogelijkheid is om in de schaduw te liggen. Dit vonden wij wel een gemiste kans. Het zwembad is ietwat klein, maar wel fijn. De drankjes zijn lekker, maar wel redelijk aan de prijs.

The hotel has an excellent location.

Rooms was their extremely small size. The rooms were shabby. A dead pigeon lay under the window. The staff is impolite.

The AC did not work in our room. We were on the 5th floor and the temperature in Nice was in the high 90’s. Our room was absolutely unbearable. It was stifling. We were told that the hotel was filled to capacity and changing rooms was not an option. The only saving grace was they brought us a fan. Not a fun experience!
