This was my second stay at this hotel, and I absolutely loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. I ordered room service — the steak and sides were perfect. A cute little dog even came by to say hello. The stunning rooftop terrace was closed due to rain, but there were plenty of other cozy sofas and chairs to relax on.

Located centrally in Rosebank and not too far from the mall, a walk to the mall along the main road is very busy though but the streets around the hotel are leafy and lovely. The staff was really nice, from Austin at the gate through to the all the staff, really feels like home. Rooftop is also nice on a sunny day.

Only thing is the smell of oil from the kitchen that can permeate the rooms but other than that the food is really nice.

Wir haben angegeben, dass wir nicht als Paar reisen, und haben trotzdem nur eine gemeinsame Decke bekommen. Nach Rücksprache haben wir eine zusätzliche Stoffdecke und nicht eine normale Bettdecke bekommen. Vor Beginn wurden jede menge Fragen gestellt, obwohl die offensichtlich nicht berücksichtigt wurden.

Das Hotel ist sehr stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich nett. Das Essen war hervorragend! Sehr moderne und frische Küche. Die 2 “Hotel-Hunde” sind so süß.

Staff are amazing and food is excellent

The hotel is in a very safe area about 40 minutes from the airport. There is a large mall with many excellent restaurants about a 5-minute UBER drive from the hotel. The wifi was good. The breakfast was very good with fruit, pastries, yogurt, omelets and eggs to order and excellent cappuccino. Service was excellent. It was our anniversary so I ordered their “Romantic Turndown Bliss” room decoration. They did an amazing job of decorating the room.

The tv did not work. The a/c did not cool down the room. There was no phone in the room. There were no shelves or counter space in the bathroom to put items.

Between the exceptional service and the quality of the rooms, it's no wonder this has become my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Johannesburg. I can't recommend it enough - five stars, every time!

The staff was excellent and made an extra effort to make sure I enjoyed my trip! The room was perfect and location is great - quiet area not far from shopping and attractions.

Fabulous hotel, with an excellent restaurant and the friendliest staff. We used the gym and rooftop lounge, but as it was winter it was a little cold for the pool. Easy walk into Rosebank mall and the Keyes Art Mile. Ubers were cheap and efficient after dark.

We stayed for three nights at the Home Suite Rosebank, and were glad we chose this hotel for our first trip to Johannesburg. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and secure, with friendly and helpful staff, from the front desk to the security guards at the gate. Even though it was in a largely residential neighborhood, it still was conveniently and centrally located for all that we needed, with Rosebank Mall (and the restaurants of the Zone@Rosebank) just a five-minute drive away by car hire, and Sandton only about 15 minutes away. The hotel staff were able to accommodate a variety of requests, from booking an airport transfer (with Trevor, who was a great help), to helping me recharge my devices when my adapter didn't work on South African outlets. The selection at breakfast was varied and tasty, and since we had an early-morning departure for the airport, the kitchen staff packed us a generous breakfast to take away that morning as well. And as a bonus, we enjoyed visiting with the two friendly and well-behaved dogs, Mollie and Maggie, who slept on cushions in the lobby, and who kept us company while watching World Cup matches in the hotel dining room in the evenings. We always looked forward to their tail-wagging welcome upon returning to the hotel! All in all, this was an excellent place to stay, and we will gladly do so again if we make it back to Jo'burg.

A wonderful place with a friendly and positive team. It was so nice to see that they care for rescued dogs on the property—something you don’t often come across, and it says a lot about the people here. The rooms were clean, and we really appreciated being able to leave our luggage safely after check-out. A lovely stay!

We stayed here for work and had a great experience. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were absolutely lovely, always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. We all loved Molly and Maggie, and they made our stay even more memorable. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out, and we hope to see you all again on our next trip to Johannesburg.

Our late check out time was not communicated properly. Cleaning service was nice about it, but they did still knock on my door at 11:10am for a 12p checkout.

BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK. I stayed in Room 114 and removed my watch before taking a shower. When I arrived home, I realized I had accidentally left it behind. I immediately contacted management, but they insisted that the watch was not found in the room. I went directly home after checking out and was dressed in sportswear, making it highly unlikely that I was wearing a formal watch when I left. Based on these circumstances, I remain concerned about the disappearance of my watch. Another issue was the strong curry smell in the room, which I found unpleasant. Although the staff provided an empty diffuser and a bathroom spray in an attempt to address the odor, neither was effective.

Depois de uma ótima experiência no Home Suite Hotels de Cape Town, decidimos nos hospedar no Home Suite Hotels Rosebank em Joanesburgo, e a escolha não poderia ter sido melhor. Apesar de ser uma propriedade maior que a de Cape Town, o Rosebank consegue manter uma atmosfera extremamente acolhedora. O grande destaque com certeza vai para a melhor recepção que poderíamos ter: a Maggie e a Molly, as duas cachorrinhas do hotel, que são lindas demais e alegram qualquer ambiente! Além disso, o café da manhã e as outras opções de refeição são excelentes, os quartos são muito confortáveis e a equipe de staff é super atenciosa. Recomendamos de olhos fechados!

I had no expectations about staying at Home Suite Hotels Rosebank - and we were pleasantly surprised! the staff are AMAZING the food and wine options are convenient and delicious - we loved having a beverage / wine in the evenings and there are so many options! suite was super clean and comfortable (i wish the lighting was better!) everything was priced well and it was the best hotel we stayed at on a 3 week vacation with 5 hotels! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I wanted to book directly with the Hotel, but their payment system wasn't compatible with my US credit card. This forced me to book via Bookings.com

Felt like a home away from home - much bigger room than expected, with enough space to relax and feel comfortable. Good for work purposes, and even a kitchen for staying in and cooking.

Perhaps some basics in the kitchen so I didn't have to buy it all for just one night's stay (oil, salt, pepper, sugar etc.).

We had a wonderful stay at Home Suite Hotels. Perfect location and very friendly staff. The rooms were very comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast.

This remains my best stay when I visit Johannes's - the hotel is spotless - they call me by name - they know my favourites and the rooms are just incredible. I will recommend this to anyone wanting a well deserved break or when doing a business visit to the city. I have been here 10 times - and this remains the best hotel in the City to visit. It is small and personal - which is much needed in this busy City. Thx as always for the incredible stay.

The welcome desk ladies were very kind on both encounters, easy access to everything, adequate parking, the quick service, the cleanliness of the entire facility, the rooftop view

The kitchen staff was a little slow with the breakfast (waited for more than an hour to get breakfast) but the egg bacon Benedict ‘I promise you’ made up for the lost time. It was perfect, perfectly balanced sauce and very filling

Das einzige, was verbessert werden könnte ist die Einrichtung des Lokales. Als Frühstücksraum geht es, um abends dort zu sitzen ist es zu wenig gemütlich.

We were very lucky to find this beautiful homely hotel when searching for accommodation in Johannesburg many months ago. This is not a big property but really feels like home. Our room was large with a deck , a very comfortable bed and very good size bathroom. Great coffee machine also. The meals here are excellent. Breakfast was continental with another menu for hot dishes. We ate dinner here twice also and the food and drinks were excellent quality. Importantly , staff were friendly and very helpful. Karyi was always smiling and nothing was a problem. Security at gate also was reassuring. We did walk up to Rosebank mall on one day during the daylight hours but wouldn’t do it of a night Overall, a very enjoyable experience and no problem recommending to other travellers. Also a rooftop pool and sitting area which we didn’t use because of the weather
