Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/El Segundo

Location

Long way to go to the room and it seems a little bit old

Near the airport with free shuttle service

Smelly carpeting, creaking floor

Very courteous staff esp . Juven ( shuttle bus driver).

Rooms could use some upgrade but otherwise clean. Fruits for breakfast would have been appreciated.

Gutes Airport Hotel mit nettem Personen, ausreichendem Frühstück und Gym/Pool. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt. Der kostenlose Airport Shuttle ist sehr angenehm.

Posizione ottima vicino all'aeroporto con servizio navetta incluso molto comodo.Colazione molto buona e varia.Camera spaziosa e confortevole.

Good location, professional staff. There is a very useful shuttle from/to airport. You can just wait the shuttle at the airport dedicated aerea and every 30 min the bus is passing to collect the people.

They haven’t reply to my messages when I was trying to get in contact with them by everything went good at the end.

Staff were excellent and breakfast was great. Bar and pool area was nice.

A little dated rooms but for a one night stay was fine.

Very clean property, great location

I had to write an exceptional review since I'm a regular here, and I really need to point out two of your AMAZING front desk agents. I came in a couple nights ago and the key cards weren't working at the doors. You had Luis and David at the front multi tasking like crazy. And I had to check in at around 8pm. They were on it keeping guests satisfied and kept apologizing when they didn't really need to, on top of escorting guests to their rooms. Maybe there were a handful of guests that were just irate about the situation but hey, it happens but Luis and David were both very patient and kept showing excellent customer service to everyone. And on top of that, as I woke up in the morning, they both showed up to work which had to be at a time where they probably didn't get much sleep at night, unless management offered them rooms for the night, but they still showed up, showed out, and looked very well rested to start the day. Hats to the both of them, and to the rest of the team that night. Thank you for all you do and I appreciate you both.

Good value, breakfast was quite ok. Good location close to LAX.

Airport transfer and location

They should fix the signs to the elevator and rooms as it took us more time to find our assigned room

We stayed at this hotel using a day pass. I went to drop the rental car, and my wife and child were meant to take the shuttle bus. The 7 pm bus on Saturday left without any passengers. My wife was told to wait in reception but the driver did not come in and left witjout picking anybody up. If you are using this hotel for shuttles to the airport, please take care and leave plenty of time, because the service is not reliable.

Traslado al aeropuerto

We stayed for 1 night and the staff were so very welcoming and helpful specifically. David and Larry. They assisted me with parking and even gave us all a popsicle for 4th of july. The room was clean and surprisingly large. Enough room for 3 of us. And the location was amazing. The shuttle to the airport was as easy as can be. Will definitely book again

Comfortable, clean room. Good breakfast with both hot and cold selections. Great location for a layover between flights. Good shuttle service to/from LAX. Convenient to nearby restaurants.

RAS

I loved that the staff was so happy and friendly, they interacted with each other, you could tell they liked their job. Very supportive of each other and the hotel. Helpful in making recommendations for food in the area.

Breakfast was the only let down of the experience-I was hoping for bacon, biscuits and gravy. I am unable to eat the powdered/bag eggs and do not like the sausage. Bagels were fresh and cooked quickly in the contraption/oven.

Was able to park in handicap parking, breakfast great

Little confused when trying to head up to my room, but staff member saw me and gave me directions right away

Not too busy. Quiet and great location.

The breakfast was really good, room was very clean.

The small refrigerator has lots of ice build up and leaking water out while its melting.

That it has a bed other than that No aircondition. And 50% compensation they mentioned never applied. Paid $300 for 1 night and experience was bad. This is the first marriott hotel I ever experience this.

No AC and compensation that was promised not applied. They said they sent it to an account that was not even under my name or booking account. Called booking.com and said they never received a note from the hotel about the Discount. Traveled 20 hrs flight just to experience this.

Nearby many restaurants

The floor on the shower room has some brown dots. The breakfast is plain.

Close to LAX, has a shuttle service that runs 24/7, complimentary breakfast, clean and safe.

Overpriced for what it was in my opinion. It was 170$/night when I stayed here. It should’ve been closer to 120$/night.

Location

No working bathroom, no ac, long wait time.

I liked that is was clean. I did not like having to park down the street being a single woman and coming in at night was concerning. They should have a night time valet. There were some kind of flies in the lobby entrance. They need to deal with that because it left a bad impression from the start. But the room was decent, clean and the breakfast bar was nice. I just wanted coffee and fruit and they had bananas. The workout room was okay...small so I went for a walk outside but overall it was decent for the price and 5 min from the airport.

Flies in the lobby entrance and the parking situation being a single woman. They should have a valet even if you have to pay for it.

Lights were too dim

I have never experienced before that the hotel staff lied to my face about a couple of things: - we booked two nights and they only had us booked in for one night and blamed booking.com for this. We only found that out only after we checked for another room, because - we got a room with a window, that could not be opened, and the A/C was also broken - it was so obvious that they knew about it and nevertheless had guests sleeping in that room - they send somebody to repair the A/C, and this person came took a look, went away and told us they will let us know. We never got anything back. - the staff / manager promised that we will get another room the next night since they were fully booked the first night and they give us a discount for the inconvenience in the first night. -> we never got this discount even after trying to reach out to them twice afterwards -> on the next day, they said again they are fully booked although that promised the night before that we get another room. Out of a sudden they could move us...

Location and shuttle bus to LAX.

Going down on the elevator it got stock. It took a while for someone to come over after I sounded the alarm several times. We missed the shuttle due to this incident. I injured my hand with the doors. I asked the front receptionist if she could get some ice, and she was not very helpful. My hand did hurt for a while, now there is small bruise. Also when we arrived we were not offered water bottles, like it was offered to other group. Do not know why.

The location is ok, nearby the airport.

The AC was not working, and the quadruple room was extremely cramped for three people. There was barely enough space to open three suitcases.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and had a full selection of toiletries

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and had a full selection of toiletries

The location and the breakfast was just fine. They were very good at restocking the breakfast bar .

The air did not work in the room - kaput And the water pressure was weak.

Amazing ride and luggage help from LAX from Dean and great lobby staff Larry and Vicky made checkin/out easy. Very comfortable room and tasty breakfast

All great

Breakfast and breakfast area.8

The smell of the carpet in the entire facility. It also stayed on my clothes after left the hotel daily.

it was cozy, close to airport

nothing really except should have check the amenities in the room missing some soap and tissues

Paper plates and cups, and plastic utensils to eat the breakfast

The Complimentary Breakfast and Location (near grocery and 7-11) definitely a +. Even thou there was only 1 person checking in during a rush he held himself together (obviously done this before).

When we went to our room our key didn't work and we had to go retrieve another key (we were furthest room from the front desk it was already near midnight) and then our AC didn't work and we were told sorry we're sold out and all we can do right now is offer you a fan.

Location; Tea coffee availability at the kitchen throughout the day; Shuttle

Poor room maintenance- bathroom door not sliding / locking / broken; Patio door - same problem

We had two rooms booked. One king suite and one regular king room. The king suite did not have working AC. The management rented the room knowing there was a whole block of rooms without AC. I called multiple times regarding the issue and was told that it would be fixed in 30mins. In reality, they did not have maintenance crew available to fix the problem that night. The hotel just provided a small fan which did not cool the room at all. The room was smelled musty and was suffocating. The king room is tight if you have a lot of luggage with you. Hotel in general could use a good deep cleaning. Not a good value for the money. It is better to stay at the Residence Inn which is close by. It is much cleaner, rooms are larger and has working AC.

The staff—from the airport shuttle drivers to housekeeping—was terrific. All were warm, professional, accommodating.

The hotel showed signs of wear that could easily be rectified.

I feel is high cost

The cost

Easy shuttle to airport in the morning, good breakfast with lots of choices, friendly staff, nice pool and fire pits. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean.

Run down. Room had musty, moldy odor. Room on first floor was noisy with parties outside at night and people rolling suitcases outside our sliding glass door in the morning. Had trouble finding airport pickup location and then waited an hour. When the shuttle came it was nearly full already so many people had to wait even longer. $300 was too much for this room.

Ample breakfast, nice sitting area outside, quiet room.

It had a great airport shuttle service with helpful staff. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator was fast, our room was sufficient for a one night stay and the included breakfast was good with very attentive staff constantly checking and refilling. Considering it is on a main road it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

Only that there were no gluten free or dairy free options at breakfast apart from the fruit.

David at the front desk was awesome, great stuff who treat people right

AC was broken in 3 rooms and their solution was to put me in a room with a king bed and sofa bed rather than the 2 queen beds I asked for. Sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was below average. Won't be staying there again

Close to the airport and breakfast was really good a lot of options. There was a shuttle for the airport as well. Friendly staff.

Convenience, close to airport

Rooms look dated.

Breakfast

No ac for the 3day stay

Close to In & out Burger

Location, facility and team excellent! Proximity to restaurants, supermarket and airport suited my needs well :)

The room was big and the people were welcoming when I got in really late at night. And the were super accommodating with breakfast.

The tv did not work. It was a little confusing to actually get to the room maybe a few more signs to show where you should be going. The follow the butterflies were a good start but me and few others got lost along the way.

This place was remodeled from the old Hacienda Hotel. Quite frankly, I don’t think they even changed the carpet. The old, musty smell is extreme in the hallways and especially the rooms. I’m sure it’s the HVAC, carpets etc. Too expensive to replace. If you’re going to stay here, insist on getting a balcony room with a sliding glass door so at least you can get some fresh air. Be prepared.

I like the free shuttle service to and from the airport. The room was large and cleaned every day. The staff was very nice.

These are my email content that was not answered by hotel so I changed I have a problems. 1) I checked out on 4 May 2026. The amazon return packet still did not given to the UPS officer. Please printout the label and deliver my return package to UPS people. The details are attached to you in my mail. Just print out and give the UPS cargo officer or who is the responsible for the delivery for your hotel. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards,I ordered an amazon package and it arrived very late after I check out from the hotel. The only thing the receiptionists to do is to give that package by printing the ups code. But they still did not reply my dozens of mails. They promised that they would do on my last day. But still could not. Please answer my mail and return my package.
