Unfortunately, my experience at the Hilton Hotel was very disappointing. The room was too small and did not meet the standard I expected from a Hilton hotel. The service was also very poor, and I felt that the staff did not provide the level of customer service that guests should receive. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay. I expected much better quality, service, and comfort from Hilton. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves its standards for future guests.

Cashless payments only made for a bad experience when bar staff made a mistake. Which by the way ...£7.20 for a pint of lager is daylight robbery, this is Leeds not London! In fact just avoid the bar altogether.

The location is great, especially in respect of shuttle travel to Leeds festival and return. From the onset of arriving, reception staff were welcoming and courteous. The room was ready on arrival which was clean, spacious and everything in place we needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a great selection.

As it was our wedding anniversary we decided to have room service for breakfast, unfortunately it was cold , so that was disappointing especially as we were charged £45 . Also there was no mini fridge in the room for bottles of water.

The outstanding aspect of our stay was the exceptional staff - helpful, happy, always available and willing. Three lovely days at this hotel. Also…a great location. We would be delighted to stay there again.

The only thing that was laborious was checkout. There wasn’t a queue but the paperwork took an age…15 minutes! Seemed less the fault of the young woman on the desk…more the system itself… and the requirement to print out 6 or more pages, repeat versions of things we had already paid for on our pre-authorised card. Waste of time, wasted of paper.

Although the breakfast was generally good the hot food buffet I found was not hot enough, it is difficult to keep cooked food hot I understand but it was barely warm this morning.maybe a microwave would be a good idea to reheat if required.

The payment for the parking wasn’t particularly well advertised on Booking.com and it was quite expensive for a car park that ended up full throughout the weekend.

Bottles of sparkling water was left in the room and the room was up over a load of industrial fans that continued make a noise all through the night in which resulted in not getting any sleep regardless of the window being open or closed. Also close to noise of train station. Bacon were burned to a crisp Eggs were swimming in water Horrible smell as you enter to the hotel lobby The chips were frozen, cheap and nasty supermarket quality Once asked for the bill and it was presented there was a gratitude payment added to our bill. when queried we were told oh you could just take it off if you want but the fact of the matter is that it’s added without being consulted at first like I thought that was very very sneaky and cheeky of the hotel to do I mean did they not pay your staff enough wages for working there? Apparently this extra charge was supposed to be used for to help pay for the staff refreshments and food and drinks by the company are they not making enough money that can’t do that I thought it was highly highly disrespectful to do as we’ve been to hundreds of hotels over all over the world and we’re definitely definitely will not be recommended this one

The staff at the Hotel are absolutely amazing. Me and my partner have stayed at this hotel multiple times as the service is brilliant every time, and the staff are absolutely lovely! Previously we have stayed and I was feeling unwell the morning we were due to check out, the staff let us have a later check out time with no extra cost and were happy to help with anything we needed during our stay. This stay, the staff remembered us and have been nothing but kind. Kae especially has gone above and beyond every time that we have stayed here, and is so lovely. Whenever we have stayed the staff have acted with such professionalism, especially when we have seen them dealing with difficult guests, and the staff have done everything they could, every time that we have stayed to make sure that we have a good time. We will continue coming to this Hotel as the staff are the biggest asset to this hotel and they have continued to be brilliant. The rooms are all lovely, and the hotel is in a brilliant central location to the town.

The location was fantastic! Easy walk to shopping and restaurants

The staff was rude and inattentive. Our AC and toilet broke and was reported to the reception. Very condescending

The on site car parking is ridiculously tight to drive a vehicle in and very difficult to get out. I drive a Tuscon and the tailgate hits the ceiling when you open the boot. And exiting the car park i dented my rear side and scraped the back door as its way too tight to drive through. Other guests share the same thoughts online especially if you drive an SUV. When you report it to the hotel there response is to apologise and tell you of the signs warning of the tight spaces! The signs are the disclaimer

I normally stay at the Doubletree when I am in Leeds ( however our company no longer allow it ) so not my choice Only staying overnight and working both days so did not get to use the swimming pool or leisure facilities which looked fab Checked in quite late so thankfully did not need to spend much time in the roasting hot room on the hottest day of the year No fridge which I was aware of but on days like this why even leave bottles of water ( also warm ) . My toilet didn’t flush either and had to keep going for about 5 mins before any water came out at all There were a few people complaining about air conditioning. It was not cool at all Breakfast was really impressive and lots of choice . Nice bread and bagels to choose from as well as all the buffet items And takeaway bags and cups which really helped as my colleague wanted to Take coffee with him . The reception , bar and seating areas are lovely and the staff are good but please get some fridges in the rooms and the air conditioning fixed as I believe we are in for hot summers ahead

A great stay at this hotel, the food was excellent, Steaks can be hit and miss in any establishment but the Sirloin was cooked to perfection. A wonderful hotel with great staff, a shout out to Rosana who was knowledgeable on the wine selection and menu. Parking was easy and you will never get wet parking up and walking to reception as they are in the same building. Excellent stay. I will be back.

Riaaz was a genuine breath of fresh air after a long work day. He checked me in quickly, with a calm, personable manner that immediately made the evening feel easier. I was genuinely impressed he pronounced my name ( Nonhlanhla) perfectly a small detail that made a big difference.

Room had everything we needed, bed was comfy, air con worked, check in was easy and staff helpful and friendly

Car park is very tight on space, narrow entrances and exits, tiny spaces, and our car isn’t particularly large. Would like to see the leisure facilities (pool etc) back

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights for a long weekend. As always the staff could not do more for us during our stay and did everything they could to make us feel welcome, special and enjoy our stay in our lovely refurbished room. The service we always receive in this hotel is second to none and has made it our favourite hotel and Leeds our favourite destination. A special shout out to Hamid Ahmed the senior receptionist who was truly exceptional. The staff always say they are just doing their job, but they do it better than any other I have encountered. Thank you as always for an amazing room, breakfast and overall stay and service.

Comfortable room, air con worked very well and kept the room at a great temperature. Ample toiletries provided in the bathroom, excellent value for money. I believe the parking is a bit tight, however its in the centre so there are other ample parking facilities nearby.

Very central location. Everything was walking distance. Room and bathroom was very nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable, I slept like a baby. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Very clean room and hotel facilities. Breafkast buffett was massive and the food was very delicious. Definitely a good value for money. I like the atmosphere in there overall.

There is nothing I would change apart from bigger signage about just how tight the car park is. If your car is bigger than a ford fiesta you will struggle to get out. I would suggest find somewhere else to park and walk to the hotel

Generally friendly staff, especially Riaaz who offered complimentary drinks once he found out it was my birthday! - at the front desk! Was attentive, check in was quick and room was lovely. Would recommend!

Overnight stay while attending the Roundhey festival. The hotel is perfectly located for easy use of the train station, our room actually overlooked the back of it. However, for a Hilton it fell short on first impressions. There was rubbish strewn around outside and massive weeds that needed pulling up. Check in was easy and our room was ready an hour early. The bar area looked really nice but we didn’t use it. Our room (1008) was adequate. Comfy bed, clean. Pillows too soft for my liking. Lots of mirrors all round the room, but none were placed well enough to put makeup on etc. Couldn’t find the remote for the tv to tune it off (it’s on with your name when you enter) so had to pull the plug out. Bathroom was nice, plenty of body wash etc, but the main shower head didn’t work and the toilet didn’t flush. However, we slept well despite not figuring out how to use the air con, we opened the windows instead. Reception looked quite trashed on our return with the remnants of a party and little kids running riot (12:30am). Adequate stay for a Hilton, but I would stay there again and recommend.

Was bot impressed by my recent stay. Our room had spilled marks down the wall in the bedroom, dirty shower tray especially the rim, dirty plug hole, mouldy shower seal and rusting shelf. We then headed to dinner, we were seated by the host with dinner menus (no drink menu) our server then approached to take our order my husband went to order only to be told it was not in stock with a list of other items that was fine but should have been told by the host! The server then took the order for Korean burger and nourish bowl and didnt take a drink order. My husband went to the bar for a drink menu but still no one came to take an order. We had to wait till our server brought the food to order a drink. The Korean burger was honestly terrible value for money at 19.50 you would really expect more than a frozen chicken burger with no salad and a handful of chips! We then were passed pillar to post to try sort our room allowance definitely feel they could have sorted this issue amongst themselves. All in all terrible service dirty room and over priced food will not be back! Really expected so much more from the Hilton brand. Ill stick to trusty faithful premier inn in future!

One of the rooms booked was fine.

The other room I booked had a shower with virtually no water pressure when we checked in on Saturday. Sunday morning the water pressure was pretty much not existent and a dribble of water coming out and unusable. Management called to complain and when he inspected the issue he stated there was nothing he could do?? Asked if that was Hilton’s stance on the issue he stated “yes”! No offer of using another room to shower or even some form of good will gesture to compensate that the shower is unusable. Extremely disappointing.

Rooms were exceptional for the price couldn’t believe it when we arrived so clean and just generally so exceptional don’t think I’ve ever seen such a big TV. Really comfy beds as well as extremely polite staff. The bar was also really lovely and had a wide selection. Also felt really safe as to use the elevator your need a key card and after a certain time there are people checking your room at the door to stop any risks, as I women This was greatly appreciated as especially staying alone the worry about dangerous people can quite scary. It was also less than a 10 minute walk from the main centre of the city and a 2 minute walk from the train station exit.

For a Hilton not the best I’ve been to and the car park is very , very tight , caught the side of my car , and looking at a lot of reviews of this place I wish I had not never parked there, as it’s not easy to negotiate the tight turns , won’t be returning

Room is absolutely boiling. Air system in the room makes no difference whatsoever.

The staff, especially Hamid. He got us a fridge, as there was none in the room, for my medication. Liked the separate living room with TV and sofa and table. The bathroom was suitable for disabled persons.

The smell on the ground floor lobby needs sorting. The rooms and place in need of refurbishment. No fridge in our room. The car park is absolutely awful. The turnings are so narrow. You need another person on the outside to guide you all the way. Parking on 2nd floor the gaps are so narrow that if anyone parks next to you can't get in. Lucky for me I had remote parking and could move the car forward to get it.

Easy to get to once you know the short cut. When I arrived I unfortunately left via the main entrance which was a bit difficult to find the hotel, however go up a level in the station keeping to the right hand side until you come to 2 downward escalators, exit, turn right, walk to end of tunnel, turn right and the hotel is a few steps away. Bed was great. I woke without an ache. Breakfast is very good, plenty to choose from.

Overall is good place to stay, but I think the problem is the room isn`t proper block the sound properly. Can hear people talking nearby room.

Car park a nightmare, very tight and almost impossible to get a car out as turning so tight. Located close to centre but have to walk through the tunnel and felt a little nervous when dark. View from room of the roof and chillers not the best.
