Reviewed Sep 16, 2026De locatie is super, dichtbij de gate van het Kruger en aan de krokodillenrivier 😃. Kamers schoon maar gedateerd. Prachtig zwembad maar de ligbedden zijn alles behalve comfortabel. Heerlijk gegeten voor een mooie prijs.
Het is gedateerd, het restaurant heeft een prachtig uitzicht maar is niet meer dan dat. Er staan banken waar ik zeker niet op zou gaan zitten. De eettafels zijn wel zeer mooi. Jammer dat er in de avond geen licht (uiteraard diervriendelijk) op de rivier staat.

Such a beautiful location… they could have upped on the restaurant experience.. we didn’t bother eating there. It could be an extra attraction for the hotel. Its just a comment rather than a ‘didn’t like’ would stay there again

Le repas que l'on nous a proposé de prendre en chambre si nous le souhaitions, était froid..dommage.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Die Unterkunft besticht durch eine traumhafte Lage direkt am Crocodile River. Auf der Terrasse wird auch das Essen serviert. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam und bereitet auch die Speisen zu. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel.
Unser Raum hätte gerne etwas sauberer und weniger steril sein können. Nichts an der Wand, keinerlei Deko, einfach kein Charme. Das Badezimmer hat überhaupt nicht überzeugt. Die Dusche schmutzig, Schimmel in den Fugen und die Toilette machte sehr merkwürdige Geräusche.

El servicio del bar-restaurante para el desayuno no funcionó bien. Quisimos tomarnos solamente unos cafés con leche y después de 15 minutos de espera nos tuvimos que ir pues ni tan siquiera habían empezado a prepararlos.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Uma delícia chegar no final do dia no quarto e encontrar ele todo limpinho, arrumado e cheiroso. O banheiro e o quarto são enormes! O ar condicionado funcionava bem. Iluminação ótima e todas as janelas com telas finas para evitar entrada de insetos (não encontramos nenhum no quarto). Funcionários super prestativos.
O café da manhã não é incluso e não é bom, preferimos comer fora. Você recebe um menu com opções, mas elas demoram muito para serem servidas, não é um buffet. O café já chegava morno e tivemos que pedir para esquentarem duas vezes. Éramos os únicos hóspedes no hotel e já demorou muito. Não tem uma área de buffet, então imagine se tiver um monte de gente!

Al nostro arrivo, davanti alla terrazza del ristorante, c'erano elefanti ed ippopotami nel fiume che pascolavano liberamente. Cena perfetta e cibo molto buono. Lo staff e il proprietario davvero gentili ed efficienti. Tutto eccezionale.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026The view was magnificent. We were lucky to see lots of hippos, a giraffe, a crocodile and a water buck. The view is really beautiful. The location (prime) is great as a stop before you enter Kruger at Malelane Gate. The SuperSpar & Woolworths around the corner is a bonus. The room is basic, but you really don't need more. The bed and bedding is very comfortable.
I think everything was good. For the price, worth it.

I did not like the fact that they do not allow kids under the age of 13 at their accommodation. Some family members wanted to book there as well, but because they had a kid under 13, they were denied accommodation.

There's parking, and the grounds are gated. It's 15 minutes from the Malelane Gate. It has a beautiful view of the river, and you can watch both sunrises and sunsets. At first we were very cold, but then we figured out the problem with the air conditioning.

The outdoor spaces were not kept clean and the furniture is stained and old. The bedroom furniture is basic. They advertise soundproof rooms but we were woken up by the noise of another visitor, the security did take care of the problem timeously.

Der Pool wirkte auf uns leider nicht besonders einladend und trotz guten Wetters, schien er mehrere Tage nicht gereinigt worden zu sein.

You can experience wildlife right from the deck looking over the river. We saw hippos, crocodiles, buck and elephants just in the first hour after booking in. It was incredible. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and we've already recommended it to all our family.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026As a family we were delighted to have rooms next to each other and they even situated us at the far end so it was more private, the staff especially Mr. Treasure was brilliant, gave us great advice and shared great stories, The view was amazing and during supper we were visited by an elephant and her calf. My kids wished that we stayed longer.
My daughter doesn't eat eggs or red meat (breakfast), i was happy that they could give her something off menu but maybe a bit more variety for breakfast would be great. The dinner menu was wonderful.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026Der Ausblick auf den Fluss ist gigantisch. Es lohnt sich hier zu übernachten bevor man in den Kruger NP fährt. Hier kann man schon sehr viele Tiere beobachten. Die Zimmer sind schön groß, sauber und gut ausgestattet.
Das Essen könnte besser sein, aber für einen Snack zwischendurch reicht es immer!

Parkplätze vorhanden, sichere Lage, nur 1 km vom Zentrum entfernt und 10 km vom Malalane Gate Krüger Park entfernt. Die Zimmer sind groß und angenehm mit Balkon.
Das Angebot im Restaurant ist nicht groß, wenig Auswahl. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber ok, allerdings könnte man auch etwas Obst anbieten.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Понравилось месторасположение. На реке и близко к воротам, супермаркету, кафе. Бассейн и виды классные. Мило, уютно, красиво. Много полотенец и пляжных и душевых.
Встретили нас с наездом, что мы опоздали! Вечером в 9 мы приехали и еле разбудили работника, который лениво высказал нам , что мы поздно. Уборщицы хорошо убирают, но даже с чаевыми не докладывают чай кофе мыло и тд. Завтраки - это 5 видов яичниц и каждый день один и тот же йогур. Это невозможно. Мы наелись яйцами на пол жизни. Спать заваливаются рано, если что нужно никого не найти. Естественно если вы приехали в 8-9 вечера, то ужином вас никто не накормит с дороги. Мы взяли с кухни тарелку чтобы посидеть за столиком и разрезать арбуз, тк никого не нашли. В итоге «управляющий» молча и демонстративно откуда-то появился и закрыл на ключ кухню. Даже не спросив может нам нужно что-то из посуды. Короче обслуживание здесь нет.

Die Lage mega gut, gegenüber ist der Krüger Nationalpark und man kann auch vom Riverview Inn schon ein paar Tiere sehen mit viel Glück :) ansonsten sind es zum Gate Malelane nur 10 Minuten und somit unschlagbar 💪 Ich würde es weiter empfehlen und auch wieder kommen!

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026Die Lage mit der Terrasse direkt am Grenzfluss zum Kruger ist der Wahnsinn. Wir haben dort Nilpferde, Krokodile, Büffel und eine Giraffe gesehen. Man kann dort Frühstücken, bekommt einen Kaffee und Abendessen. Die Lage ist in einer Sackgasse und somit sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, modern, sauber und mit grossem Bad. Und mit Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool und Garten ist toll und sehr gepflegt. Parkplätze sind sicher und schattig auf dem Gelände. Die Nähe zu einem Krugertor ist auch ein gutes Kriterium für die Wahl der Unterkunft. Wir würden hier auf jeden Fall noch einmal wiederkommen.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026I have booked the place in last minute. Its true gem next to Kruger Malelane Gate which just 10 mins away. Staff was super helpful, They have included us into dinner even we were late. Food quality, Kitchen service was amazing. They are kind, helpful, respectful and I am thankful for each of them. View from the room is amazing! You are looking directly to Crocodile River and Kruger Park. I love it! Im sure I will be visiting again!
Rooms can be more modern but not a big deal, its giving rustic vibe which is nice too
