Facility is a bit rundown and shabby. It's general wear and tear, but some upgrading is now necessary. The restaurant opposite is seriously short staffed and not a great experience. Breakfast is not great value for money in my opinion . Not great buffet choice and everything runs out as there are not enough staff.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is close walk to town center n bus stop, but still quiet n peaceful. Restaurant and bar has good range of food, even for vegetarians.

The room was clean and tidy .Fresh sheet and towels. Restaurant great staff ans service with a smile.Food & Breakfast were really good and value for money.

The only one thing there are no lifts in the accommodation area and you need to go up a set of stairs with lugguages and in Room No 19 a corner wall was fixed with tape.

Gutes Frühstück und auch das Abendessen im Hotel eigenen Restaurant war sehr gut.

Leider zu wenig Möglichkeiten die Handtücher im Bad aufzuhängen und mangels Regalen/Schränken kaum Möglichkeiten, Kleidung aus dem Koffer zu legen.

Soweit war alles in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war groß und es gab einen Wasserkocher mit Kaffee/Tee. Das Restaurant/Frühstücksraum liegt direkt gegenüber. Beim Frühstück mussten wir uns unseren Kaffee mit heißem Wasser anrühren, das kannten wir so nicht. Ansonsten wählt man aus einer Karte etwas aus. Honig/Nutella/Toastbrot usw. stehen auf einem Buffett.

Der Teppichboden und der Badevorhang haben uns nicht gefallen.

The room was pretty large and ample. There is a big private car park, which is optimal if you are traveling on the road like us. The location is very close to both Balloch’s aquarium and Bird of prey center. There is also a shopping mall nearby.

The staff was not so attentive: at dinner we couldn’t order properly and they first missed part of the order

La chambre pas faite car mystérieusement la pancarte « ne pas déranger » est apparue… La lumière de la salle de bain a bien été réparée… peut être un départ précipité en mettant cette pancarte par le service technique ? Le café du petit déjeuner : sticks d’une célèbre marque … pour la café en chambre ok mais au petit déjeuner au moins un café filtre …

Basic, but fine for what I needed it for, clean and all staff I interacted with were really friendly.

Not the property but the food in the pub wasn’t very good, it’s unlike me to leave food but I couldn’t eat the breakfast, so I wouldn’t recommend getting food at the pub. Maccies round the corner which did not disappoint and plenty other places down road into Balloch.

Comfortable for.our overnight stay, rooms were clean and Comfortable but a little tatty in places. There was a lady on breakfasts who was like a ray of sunshine.

Staff were friendly. Food was basic but ok

Had to make a choice of toast or pastry on the continental breakfast which is a bit mean. No yoghurt available and would have liked a good coffee although it was available as an extra - again a bit mean. We’re probably spoiled by holidaying abroad a lot where these things are standard.

Average, solid option for a one-night stop near Loch Lomond. Nothing particularly memorable, but it does the job well if you just need a comfortable place to sleep before moving on — clean, convenient, no complaints.

The shower always had hot water. There was a plug socket at both sides of the bed. The window opened. The air con was good and chilled the room quickly. Check in was easy. Location is good. They have a large car park

The outside of the hotel looks new and modern, but the inside isn't. The carpets in the hallway looked like they hadn't been hoovered in months. The room is very basic and was quite dark. You couldn't open the sheer curtain to let in more light. The bed was small. The wood effect veneers on the edge of the desk were all coming off. The TV was very small. The door stop in the bathroom had come loose and there was a whole in the wall where the door handle had went through the plasterboard. Breakfast wasn't great. You order from a menu for the hot food, and the continental stuff is already out for you to help yourself. We waited ages for the food to arrive. It wasn't great. Egg whites were runny. They didn't even fry the eggs fresh. As I got 2.5 eggs, they must batch cook them and just cut them up into portions. It was edible, but was expecting it to be better. I wouldn't return

Purtroppo una delle peggiori esperienze mai avute per quanto riguarda accoglienza e ristorazione. • Staff e Accoglienza: Personale spesso impreciso e sgradevole. Al check-in, nonostante avessimo confermato via mail la presenza di tre ospiti (noi due più nostro figlio) e la richiesta di un lettino, ci è stata contestata la prenotazione arrivando persino a ipotizzare di non farci dormire in struttura. Una volta mostrata la mail di conferma non sono arrivate neanche le scuse. Inutile dire che il lettino da campeggio richiesto non è mai stato portato in camera. • Servizio al cliente: Nessun frigobar in stanza e distributori automatici sprovvisti d'acqua. Alla richiesta al bar della struttura di un formato diverso dalle sole bottigliette da 0.3L, la risposta dello staff è stata testualmente: "Se vuoi un altro formato vai al supermercato". • Ristorazione e Camere: Colazione continentale estremamente scarsa. A pranzo ho ordinato un hamburger arrivato completamente carbonizzato e incommestibile. Per finire, il mobilio della camera è del tutto rovinato e datato. Sconsigliato, da ogni punto di vista. Servizio del tutto privo di professionalità e ben al di sotto degli standard minimi.

Facile d'accès, restauration sur place fort agréable et proche du loch lomond.

Manque un peu d'entretien, la tringle à rideau était tordue et décollée. Le petit déjeuner ne correspondait pas à nos attentes. Dans un Bar/Restaurant, il n'est pas normal de servir du café soluble alors que la machine à grains existe. Nous avons dû insister et payer pour avoir un vrai café. Absence d'explication par le personnel sur la formule petit déjeuner compris dans le tarif Booking. 4 formules proposées dont 3 payantes alors que deux peuvent être prises sans supplément avec Booking.

Eigentlich nichts

When we walked into the hallways, they smelled like cigarette smoke, and there was a strange lobby that made me feel like we were not in a safe location. When we got into our room, there was black mold in the ceiling and looked like some sort of liquid spilled all over the walls. We left that night and would not go back.

Cigarette smell, black mold, stained walls, uncomfortable beds. Dirty. I have been waiting on a refund for a month booking.com and the hotel have been unresponsive after confirming my refund the night we left without staying overnight. I am questioning my use of booking.com and will definitely not be going back to Queen of the Loch

Wir haben eine Nacht auf der Durchreise verbracht. Es hat gut gepasst, mehrere Tage würde ich dort aber nicht gern verbringen wollen. Das Restaurant ist gut, es wirkt recht amerikanisch, dort gibt es auch das Frühstück, das war auch gut. Nachts war es ruhig.

Bei unserer Ankunft war die Klimaanlage eingeschaltet und es war richtig kalt im Zimmer. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, wir mussten mit der Klimaanlage heizen und wir hätten eigentlich gerne Ruhe gehabt.

Camera vecchia, servizi accettabili ma carenti.

Nos ha encantado nuestra estancia aquí. El personal fue muy amable y nos hizo sentir muy bien. Coincidimos justo allí la noche de la final del mundial y nos permitieron cenar con nuestros hijos menores mientras veíamos el partido en el pub. La comida excelente y el trato mejor aún. La habitación amplia y cómoda. El desayuno es espectacular y está incluido en el precio de la habitación. Está en una zona muy tranquila y puedes visitar el pueblo dando un sencillo paseo sin necesidad de coger el coche.

Cuando fuimos a desayunar solo había una persona atendiendo a todo el mundo y tardaron muchísimo en servirnos. Entendemos que estaba agobiada, pero nos hizo perder mucho tiempo.

Es gab warmes Frühstück + Frühstücksbuffet (Löskaffee!), das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut mit einem netten Fußweg zum Loch und Sea-Aquarium und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Good location , but Ballock is too commercialized . The price was approx. £20 too much for room only and the breakfast was £11 each . But to be fair the room was nice and clean and the room was nice and cool . ( We stopped during the 2nd Heatwave in the UK )

The restaurant, location and food was brilliant

The room hadnt been cleaned properly. I had to clean the toilet myself as it was still covered in dust / marks. You could tell by the chrome taps the sink hadnt been done either hairs and marks inside too. Beds had hairs and sweet wrappers in them. Shelfs etc were dusty. Shower isnt very great either. Contacted them regarding it but werent very helpful just said they would speak to house keeping.

Prix élevé n’incluant pas les petit déjeuner. Nous avions séjourné dans un établissement du même groupe la semaine précédente (ne connaissant pas cette chaîne avant d’entamer notre séjour). Tout y était identique mais 2 fois moins cher et petit déjeuner inclus.

Zimmer OK. Betten na ja. Bad/Dusche gross aber etwas schmuddelig. Lage gut wegen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.

Das Personal war freundlich und der Check- in ging unproblematisch und schnell. Das Zimmer hatte eine gute Größe für drei Personen. Auch das Bad und die Betten waren sehr sauber. Für eine Nacht war es in Ordnung. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist toll...man ist nahe des Sees.

Das Hotel ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen- sowohl das Mobiliar als auch die Teppiche haben schon einige Abnutzungsspuren. Im Bad war Schimmel an der Decke. Es gibt keinen Aufzug, wenn man in die erste Etage möchte, also muss man seine Koffer selbst hochtragen. Das Frühstück ist nur ein kleines Buffet, den Großteil bestellt man aus einer Karte. Da die Bedienung jedoch allein verantwortlich war, musste man beim Bestellen etwas Geduld haben.

All the bar staff and breakfast staff were very polite and apologetic that things were slow. Appeared to be struggling with lack of staff but our stay was Friday/Saturday night so maybe that was the norm. The hotel was excellently located for all the amenities in Balloch.

I have a number of moans if taken in isolation would be a bit petty but as a series made for a not great stay. Disappointed from moment of arrival. Check in was at 2pm and arrived at 1.40pm. Abruptly told we were early and come back at 2? I could understand if we had been an hour or 2 early but technically I suppose I shouldn't complain. Told we were across in the lodge accommodation. Only given one room key which we quickly realised would be a problem as entry to both the room and building needed a key. Both of us are pensioners, me needing a new knee and wife a new hip so not outwardly mobile. We were given a room on the first floor so we had to lug our heavy suitcases upstairs. Room was dark as outside the window was a screen of trees which acted as a noise break from the road but also acted as a light break and required a light on all the time. The room was tatty and small. No cupboards or wardrobes and only a small hanging area so had to live out of our suitcases. Shampoo/soap dispenser in shower had fallen off into bath and difficult to put back on. The door stop in the bathroom was broken and the door handle wedged in the wall. The trim around the the TV mount and desktop was peeling away. The TV didn't work which we only found out when going to bed as we couldn't turn it off. Probably only a remote control problem but I had to get behind it and switch off at the wall. Breakfast took 45 minutes and wife's 2 poached eggs on toast turned out to be boiled eggs on toast. Waitress was very apologetic but not her fault. That evening we were going out to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I went to wait in bar whilst wife got ready. At this point she discovered the hair dryer didn't work. Came to bar and spoke to bar manager who was unable to provide a replacement. rarely complain but felt it justified on this occasion. We expected a lot more from The Marstons Group

Wir waren für eine Übernachtung da und dafür war es perfekt. Sehr freundliches Personal und leckeres Frühstück.

Leider hatten wir an der Baddecke etwas Schimmel. Für nen kurzen Aufenthalt ok, für länger hätte ich ein anderes Zimmer gewollt.
