The room was quite small, but as a place to shower and sleep, it worked. Shower worked, even dispensed some hot water after a bit of coaxing. Great indian restaturant right across the street.

Could have used a bigger table, the one in the room was, quite frankly, a joke.

Excellent location. Patio, an added bonus. Ease of checking in and out.

Unfortunately no hot water in the bathroom sink. However, a good shower compensated this. I informed staff on my departure. Unclear address. No visible door number.

Staff were very welcoming and very helpful/flexible when my car broke down extending my stay by a further 4 days. Kudos to all staff. Central location of Balloch too.

I'm a big guy so showers were a little small for me but not a big thing.

Er kwam lekker warm water uit de douchekop

De ruimte was zeer klein voor 2 personen met 2 koffers. Een 2 persoonsbed aan één kant tegen de muur. Thee/koffie kopjes en lepels werden niet gewisseld voor schone kopjes. Prullenbakken werden niet geleegd. De wastafeltje was zo klein dat er geen tandenborstel(s) op konden en zelfs om handen te wassen, was het lastig. Nergens een planchette om je spullen op te leggen. Wij zijn daar 3 nachten geweest.

The location was perfect for walking the John Muir Way. There was a wonderful back garden with two chairs and a small table under an overhang.

The room was tight. It was a little dated.

Il bagno ha decisamente bisogno di un restauro. Non siamo riusciti a fare una doccia calda. Il benvenuto un po’ misero, con due biscotti di numero su un carrello un po’ triste.

Very helpful person who helped me to open the window in my room.

Did not meet the owner/a receptionist. All conversations were over an intercom. Room shabby; bought domestos to combat mildew in corners of the shower. Dust everywhere - on top of radiators, cobwebs on ceiling, musty smell noticeable at night.

Posizione centrale e molto comoda a diversi bar, ristoranti e supermercati. Carino il piccolo giardino esterno.

Troppo piccolo il bagno, lavandino quasi inesistente. Per lavarsi i denti si bagna tutto. In generale la camera non dava troppo senso del pulito (trovata una lumaca e un ragno)

The room was very small and basic I think it was a little expensive for what it was

I had a very pleasant stay! The room was comfortable and clean. The location was great: right across from Balloch station and with two bus stops in front of the accommodation and plenty of places to eat near by. It made it easy to get around and explore the area of Loch Lomond.

Centrally located in Balloch, within easy walking distance of pubs and restaurants and a great base to explore Loch Lomond from. Easy check in experience. The room was basic, but provided what you needed for a couple of nights.

The location was great, close to train station too. Lots of places close by for food. Accessible walks from your door. And for boat trips. The room was just what i needed. Small but practical. The shower was great and bed was very comfy. I would definitely stay again. Private parking space. Could sleep with Windows open area was xreally quiet in the evening .

You could hear the people in the next room clearly, but saying this all was quiet from early eve so it wasnt an issue. The floor could of been cleaner there was dust gathered under the tea/coffee trolley and along the floor near the wardrobes and was still there after my room was serviced..

Convience to railway and restaurants. Everything in room you required. Comfortable beds. Plenty tea, coffee and bottle water.

Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Wenn irgendjemand eine Türe schließt (in egal welchem Zimmer) wacht das ganze Haus auf.

Located right next to the station and within walking distance to supermarket (Co-op). Checkin was easy and room well equipped Ground floor room was perfect as we had luggage The outdoor space was lovely to have tea in!

The accommodation was warm, clean, and comfortable. Its location was excellent, close to all the main attractions, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The host was friendly and responsive, and the apartment had everything we needed.

The only minor issue was that the water pressure in the kitchen could be better and the water could be warmer.

PARKING: open air private space in front/next the guesthouse, no gate, just a running fence to mark it out of the street. I didn't see cameras, I improvised one from the window of my room, facing the parking area. CHECK-IN: automated, no staff around, so it went smooth and super quick. STAFF: nice and helpful, we got in touch during the day to deal about the arrival time and the parking spot reservation. WIFI/VPN: work. STYLE: clean, minimal. The exterior is more attractive, than the inner rooms, I have to say. POWER WHEN YOU LEAVE: stays on, you have physical key. BATHROOM: small as the room was, but it served its purpose. Shower box was ok for me. QUIET: yes, a lot. The village is very calm and relaxing. So is the place. LOCATION: looked safe and easy to access and get away from. In 45 mins train you can get to Glasgow downtown with less than 10 pound. SERVICES AROUND: I didn't check much deeply, but I think I spotted a supermarket, at least, on the way coming. The train station is just 50 meters far away from the guesthouse, so it's super easy to move around without a vehicle. VALUE FOR THE MONEY: ok if you need a parking, a quiet place and an easy get-away spot for a night. Not great if you wanted to stay in Glasgow for longer time. RESTAURANT IN WALKING DISTANCE: two just by crossing the streets around the guesthouse.

SIZE: small, compact, quite shrunk to the minimum. Ok for a night one person, a bit though for longer stays. CLEAN: could have been better. Not great, not terrible, if you forgive some hairs on the mattress.

Mal insonorisé par rapport au couloir desservant les autres chambres. A un moment des personnes ont fait du bruit et cela s'entendait très fort mais heureusement cela n'a pas duré. Il y a un mot dans ce couloir demandant aux gens de faire attention à cela.

Amazing location right across the train station. It was convenient to drop our luggage’s before heading out to walk along the river and loch. The suite is spacious for 2 to 4 people. It was nice to be able to have our own fridge and microwave and kettle in the apartment.

We notice the shampoo and shower gel bottles were empty in the bathroom. But it didn’t matter for us too much as we only stayed for one night. We could have asked the reception if we did stay extra nights.

The cottage was in a great location and was spotlessly clean and very well done with facilities

The bed was terrible I had the worst sleep of my life my husband and he ended up on the couch as the mattress was like a wave up and down it needs replaced. My back was killing me in the morning

The self check in process worked well. The room was perfectly clean with everything we needed/expected.

The room was very small, with the bed against the wall. The only window was a patio door so there was no window to have open through the night. The quilt/duvet was too high tog rating for the season and when 2 adults are in such a small space with no ventilation, making it too warm for a good sleep. The property seemed to have hard flooring throughout so the footsteps of other guests sounded very loud, especially at 5am. It soulded like a worker leaving in heavy work boots.

The shower was confusing. Super tight parking, large cars will not fit. No hair dryer.

Great location, easy to travel too. Good car park, bus right outside, ferry 3 doors down and train station is a cross the street. Just a short walk to most amenities. Plenty of open space nearby to enjoy the Scottish air. Very good for responding to messages and great detail. Very helpful.

Der Mann der das betreut hat war sehr nett und bemüht, immer sofort zur Stelle. Alles ebenerdig mit kostenlosem Parkplatz vor der Türe.

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer. In meinem Zimmer Nummer 7 war schimmel an der Decke, welchen er dann kurzfristig entfernen wollte, allerdings kann man dann nicht mehr darin schlafen, somit wurde es dabei belassen. Mein Boden neben der Heizung und unter dem Bett war verdreckt und verstaubt. In dem Zimmer Nummer 6 war die Matratze komplett durchgelegen, allerdings wurde diese sofort getauscht, als darauf hingewiesen wurde. Desweiteren ist alles sehr heruntergekommen, unrenoviert und überhaupt nicht mehr so wie es auf den Bildern dargestellt wird. Es ist alles wahnsinnig hellhörig, man hört alles von den nebenliegenden Zimmern incl Schritte beim Gehen und Schneuzen der Nachbarn.

A beautiful traditional scottish village house with modern enterior inside. Two minutes walk from the lake, restaurants and railway station, yet quiet, calm.

The room was comfortable and the location was excellent, opposite the station and a short walk from the lake. While the accommodation does not provide meals there are very good local restaurants.

I liked the accommodation. The room was clean. It had a coffee/tea making facilities. Plus shower etc. It was quiet and very nice.

I didn't like the car park though. My car is quite big and found it difficult to get in and out. So after the first night I parked on the street. Which was fine.

Room a bit small and we'd two single beds instead of a double but it was fine as it was just a base for us because we were out during the day and not back till late.
