Excellent staff and decent size room. We stayed during the US open men’s tennis final and the staff were able to put it on at one of the booths we sat in.

The rooms were adorable and I absolutely loved the large tub in our room. The bar was so cute and had incredible drinks and the dinner we had was delicious. The included breakfast was well worth it as well.

No hot water until 1 and a half before check out from bathroom taps and when it came on it only lasted 20 minutes. Mirror above bathroom sink is too low down and only shows from neck down, makes it inconvenient for shaving. Windows looking out to roofs and fans and a bit untidy. Around window glass black and should be tidied up. Breakfast not the greatest, poor poached egg, didn't even look like an egg. Booked for dinner on night of arrival, poor Malbec meat pie with little meat and overdone heated shortcrust pastry which shit across the plate when you cut it. Rhubarb crumble tastles with little rhubarb, custard was okay though. Booking.com states occasional music, Tullie Inn web site says frequent music which was really noisy. £210 for 1 night is an absolute rip off in this place.

Das Tullie Inn liegt gleich neben einem Bootshafen und einem Park an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße. In der Nacht ist es aber sehr ruhig. Wir waren zu dritt in einem großen Zimmer mit ausreichend Platz. Die Betten und das Bad waren sehr gut. Am Abend haben wir auch dort gut gegessen. Das Frühstück war reichlich und man konnte auch Spezialwünsche bestellen.

Einige vom Personal haben sich nicht viel Mühe gegeben langsam und deutlich zu sprechen, so dass die Kommunikation manchmal schwierig war.

Bed wasn’t the comfiest and room next to railway line.

The bed is comfortable and heating works. Breakfast service was very quick and plenty, with good quality. Luckily the bar noise didn’t reach the room, becuase the bar is open until 1am and it was a busy evening, but no issue with bar noise.

Heating was the only thing which worked in the room… the window cannot be closed, and is not well insulated so road noise is loud. The bathroom sink had no warm water. The shower overcompensated for it: regardless of the setting it was hot, and every 20-25 second it turned boiling hot, burning while showering so you had to jump out from under the water to avoid getting burnt. The bedroom light didn’t work. Overall a very rundown room.

The shower, and sink worse yet sink no hot water and the shower just pleased it's self with the temperature of the water.

We stayed at The Tullie Inn for one night while visiting Loch Lomond and had a really enjoyable stay. We also had dinner at the inn, which was excellent, with equally great service. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated being able to take a couple of drinks upstairs for a nightcap at the end of the evening. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. I particularly loved having the choice between a full Scottish breakfast and a smaller version. I can never manage the enormous portions of a full Scottish, so being able to choose a smaller breakfast meant I could enjoy everything without feeling that food was going to waste. Such a simple but thoughtful option! Overall, great food, excellent service and a comfortable stay. The Tullie Inn was a lovely base for our night at Loch Lomond and we would happily stay again.

Unfortunately, the blow-dryer sounded like it was breaking down. We mentioned it at checkout, but it wasn't written down. Also, the blanket cover had a huge tear. We flipped the blanket over because we kept getting our feet caught in the huge tear. We also mentioned this when we checked out.

We had booked room 14, the only little thing was that the ventilation system of the kitchen is a little noisy when you have the window open. But appart from that everything was perfect!

Checking in was a bit confusing, as there’s no clear reception space and you need to walk into the lounge/bar area. The room could’ve been cleaner and a little more updated. We were unable to use the coffee maker. Dinner was disappointing. We ordered steaks and the meat quality wasn’t great.

I passed on breakfast to get away early.

The charge of £2 for one slice of white bread to go with the fish and chips dinner, I considered that quite extortionate, many places provide with the meal.

We enjoyed the location which is perfect for local pubs and Loch Lomond. Although a bit small the room and bed wad completely comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic had a small breakfast which was fantastic could not face the large. A great place.

Stairwell & corridor is dated. No security to stop the public going up to the bedrooms area. No hot water to the wash hand basin.

So my friend and I had the lamb tagine etc-£19-4 or 5 pieces of lamb-two of which were very fatty Breakfast was okay-but felt one member of staff was not ideal-the bacon tasted as if it was barbecued so was odd…and I suspect slice was microwaved …fruit bowl out was off!! …things were not replenished as they should have been, like milk, bowls, hot water…

The hotel is literally next door to the train station so if you need somewhere convenient this is ideal. We stayed in room 3 which had a double bed. Not a very large room to put luggage but had a chair and small sofa which was nice to sit on. The room had well stocked amenities for the kettle, iron board and ear plugs!! The bathroom (ensuite) was huge!!! Had an electric shower and a bath. The bedroom and bathroom was clean and decorated well. We had a lunch from the pub downstairs and the staff were kind and attentive, the food was delicious and great value (lunch menu). The staff reminded me of key times and that live music would be playing til 1am. The bar/ waiting staff were lovely and an absolute credit to this business.

I noticed that the hot water tap did not have hot water when washing my hands and I tried the bath tap--- no luck. The shower is electric so this was not affected. I flagged up to a member of staff who said you need to keep tap running for about 10 minutes because the boiler is the other side of the building. I tried again later, running for 10 minutes or so (waste of water!) and no change in temperature. Not such a huge issue for one night, however, not ideal for washing hands. Also the room had a smell!! I personally thought it smelt like spent gas, but my son just said it smelt old!? So not entirely sure. Room 3 passes a lot of foot traffic so this can be distracting but didn't bother us.

It was ridiculously warm in the bedroom. They obviously knew this was a problem as they had one tower fan set out but it made no difference. We also arranged for an early check-in (after multiple attempts to contact the hotel by email and phone). This was to be at an additional cost, yet when we arrived no note had been made on our booking so housekeeping hadn’t been briefed. My wife and I were left to get ready for a wedding in the toilets as a result.

Tullie Inn was a lovely place to stay. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the evening after our delicious meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. In the morning there was plenty choice of food on offer for breakfast. We will be recommending the Tullie Inn to friends and family for a great place to stop by when travelling.

Le pire accueil de notre séjour. C’est avant tout un bar restaurant. L’accès aux chambres est un peu exiguë mais on entend pas de bruit du bar depuis les chambres. Cependant l’équipe du matin a été très sympathique et nous permis de partir plus tôt.

Frühstück (im Zimmerpreis enthalten): Buffet ist nicht soo üppig, aber man kann sich individuell einen "warmen Teller" mit allem, was man sich wünscht, zusammenstellen lassen. Klasse! Im Zimmer gibt es eine Nespresso-Maschine inkl. Kapseln, damit kann man leckeren Kaffee auf dem Zimmer machen. Schönes Restaurant. Die Lage als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder sonstige Touren in die Umgebung ist ausgezeichnet.

Im Restaurant Jacke nicht vergessen. Es war viel zu stark heruntergekühlt durch die Klimaanlage. Das Flurlabyrinth ist "originell", um es freundlich zu sagen, aber man merkt z.B. an den Berg- und Tal-Fussböden, dass es ein älteres Gebäude ist.

Lovely friendly staff, special thanks to Holly who went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room was very nice size, had everything you would need, comfy bed and pillows, hairdryer, tea & coffee making equipment, good size tv, iron, ironing board, toiletries, heater, electric fan, charger points for phones. Breakfast was really good, We ate in the restaurant every night, good choice of food.

Pokoj dostatečně prostorný s úložným prostorem pro naše věci, koupelna obrovská s vanou i sprchovým koutem. Na zemi v pokoji koberec, bylo čisto, postel velká a pohodlná. Součástí ubytovacích prostor restaurace s barem, obsluha milá, příjemná, nápomocná.

Breakfast was available each day and excellent selection of cooked meals plus continental selection. Dined in on two evenings and meals were good value - with good service. Ideal location for the cruises on Loch Lomond and for touring each day and next to the railway station for trip into Glasgow.

We hit a hot spell and unusual for Scotland and hotel not equipped for really hot days as windows opened only a small amount and no through breezes.

We stayed at the Tullie Inn in Balloch for two separate nights at either end of our trip. Our first stay was a lovely experience from start to finish. The room was great with an incredibly comfy bed, and the bathroom was immaculately clean with great toiletries. We appreciated the tea/coffee facilities and the fan provided for the unusually hot weather. The staff were welcoming, the evening meal in the restaurant was wonderful, and the first breakfast was efficient and had everything we needed.Our second stay featured an even better room with the same great standard of cleanliness and amenities. However, the breakfast on our final morning completely spoiled the experience. Breakfast was advertised as serving until 10:00 AM, but when we arrived at 9:00 AM, the buffet was completely depleted. There was no hot water for tea or coffee, no juice, and no brown bread. When I asked a staff member, I was told they were entirely out of brown bread. I pointed out the lack of juice and hot water, and she simply replied that other guests had used it all up and the boiler would take a while to refill. I had to hand her my cup just to get hot water brought directly from the kitchen. We ordered poached eggs and beans on buttered toast. It took 30 minutes to arrive, and when it did, the toast was barely cooked and the butter was served in small packets on the side, which made no sense since the eggs and beans were already sitting on top of the dry bread. It was a miserable experience, and we couldn't wait to leave. The hotel itself and the rooms are wonderful, but the breakfast service on the second morning was incredibly poorly managed.

Room was up the staira, not easy if stairs are not manageable. Room face the street so there was no real noise from the bar despite them having an open mic/ music evening. They provided ear plugs but we were exhausted so it was not a problem. The shower was OK. Breakfast was fine, full Scottish, the avocado on toast was not that amazing but overall nothing really to complain about. Dinner was good.
