The locate was perfect lots of things in walking distance.
Hotel needs updates, ants in our room. Had to leave hotel site for breakfest.
Breakfast are perfect and staff was excellent.
Hotel need an update but location was perfect.

Staff and pricing
The location was great. The ocean view rooms gave a beautiful view of the ocean. House keeping also cleans your room every day and it smells so fresh when you get back to your room.
When we first arrived there was a mildew smell that lasted the entire time we were there so I can imagine there is probably mold. The lady at the check in desk did not tell us any information about the hotel so we had to discover things as we walked around. The rooms definitely need an upgrade the couch in our room had stains all over it that made it look filthy. The sink was yellowing and had cracks in it. One elevator did not work so during busy times it took forever to get either to the lobby or your floor. The door to the balcony is not sealed well so it causes the room to be very humid. The quality for the price is not worth it and I do not recommend.
El desayuno, muy caro La ubicacion es buena
La limpieza de los cuartos, No lo estan haciendo bien la puerta hace mucho ruido toda la noche. Casi no dormimos Seria bueno tener en los cuartos haya un microondas
Location, gentle staff
More cleaning in common areas
The one and only positive was the valet team, who were wonderful. They provided the only good service we experienced anywhere on the property and deserve recognition for demonstrating the kind of hospitality that was completely absent everywhere else in this hotel.
I have traveled extensively and stayed in hotels around the world, and I can genuinely say I have never experienced service this poor. The Condado Plaza managed to combine terrible service, unacceptable cleanliness, misleading advertising, and amenities that guests are charged for but apparently cannot actually use. Let’s start with the pool. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m., and the pool is advertised as being open until 11:00 p.m. Yet by 6:00 p.m., the swim-up bar and poolside food service are closed, towels are completely unavailable, the music is off, and much of the area feels as though it has been shut down for the night. The pool chairs that remain available are largely broken. So despite having seven hours of advertised pool time remaining, guests arriving at check-in effectively have about two hours to enjoy the actual resort experience. When we asked for pool towels, we were told there were none available and were instructed to go back to our room and use the bath towels from our bathroom. A hotel charging a daily resort fee specifically for amenities that include towels and beach chairs could not even provide us with a towel. The explanation we received was that the pool is usually “dead” after 5:00 p.m. Perhaps management should consider why. While we were at the pool, no fewer than 10 other guests came looking for towels, asking why the lights and music were off, or wondering why the bar and food service had already closed. People clearly wanted to use the area. If you shut down virtually every amenity at 6:00 p.m., of course the pool will be “dead.” You have to create an environment where guests actually WANT to stay. Had the bar and food service been open, towels provided, music playing, and the area properly lit, we and many of the other guests would have happily stayed, spent money, and enjoyed the evening. The “beach” is another disappointment. The resort photography makes it appear far more substantial than it actually is.

No restaurant They have a little cafe at the lobby with a long line for breakfast or you have to inconveniently walk across the street to their sister hotel. It is dated, needs renovation. Hope is in better shape when I go back in November.
La ubicación buena
El Hotel está un poco antiguo, la alfombra del pasillo, muy mostoso. El desayuno decía que estaba incluido, pero solo es el continental, si quieres algo más tienes que pagar un extra

Me encantó todo
Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet my expectations. My biggest concern was the presence of a roach in my room. Finding a roach was completely unacceptable and immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness and overall condition of the property. I promptly alerted the front desk, and while I was assured that the issue would be addressed, there did not appear to be any sense of urgency in handling the situation. In fact, it took until the following day for an exterminator to come to my room and address the issue. Thankfully, one of the cleaning staff members was extremely helpful and responsive. He went out of his way to come to my room and remove the roach for me, and I truly appreciated his assistance. The staff were hardworking, friendly, and genuinely helpful, and I want to give them credit for doing their best despite the issues with the property. They were one of the few highlights of my stay. However, the hotel itself needs serious attention. The overall upkeep and maintenance were not up to standard, and the available space does not seem to be utilized properly. Having the refrigerator and coffee maker in the bathroom was particularly inconvenient and made the room feel poorly designed and unsanitary. Another major inconvenience was that only one elevator in the lobby was operational. This resulted in unnecessary delays and long waits, especially when the hotel was busy. The dining options could also be improved. I strongly recommend that the hotel offer a buffet option, particularly for breakfast. Guests would benefit from having more choices and a convenient dining option. Overall, while the staff were wonderful and did their best to help, the condition and management of the property need considerable improvement. Cleanliness, pest control, maintenance, elevator service, room layout, and guest amenities all need to be addressed. This hotel has potential, but significant improvements are needed to provide guests with the quality and comfort they should reasonably expect.
Beautiful resort, everybody’s very friendly and helpful. There’s live music in the lobby every night from guitar to piano. The runs are very clean comfortable. They have their own private beach in the lagoon so it’s so much safer to swim, especially if you have young kids because it’s calm and the waves to held back by the barrier rocks. I would definitely recommend them and will be looking forward to coming back and staying with them again next year.
Kimberly was exceptionally great. Attentive and pleasant my entire stay
Proximity to beach and old San Juan
Pool bar did not serve drinks until after 11am decided to go somewhere else
It good conado
Pool
We bought a day pass for 11 members of our family. Great pools, water slide, and drinks. Highly recommend
Customer Service Was On Point Good Staff
Rooms looked old dirty curtains, balcony cement wall was cracked, mold by the cement floors rusty balcony door lock etc..
We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful, and our room had an absolutely dreamy view of the ocean—waking up to that view every morning was unforgettable. The pool area was excellent and kept perfectly clean. The beach staff were also fantastic, attentive, and made it so easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. The valet staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay as well. Having a Starbucks on-site was definitely convenient, but honestly, I recommend trying the hotel’s own coffee shop—the coffee and overall experience were even better! Overall, the hotel has so much to offer: a beautiful pool, amazing beach access, great service, convenient amenities, and breathtaking ocean views. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing oceanfront getaway!
Great hotel/location! Friendly helpful staff! Coffee shop onsite was amazing!
3 habitaciones me tocaron sucias
The ocean view was phenomenal. The availability to use the pool at the facility across the street which connect thru one of the floors.
Can’t charge ur room for the other property where the restaurants are.
The location on condado was premium and the staff is friendly and courteous
Property could definitely use some renovations rooms becoming outdated but they’re still comfortable
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The reviews are accurate. This place is really rundown and really pretty gross and dirty. The staff was ok, but I think they also know how bad it is and are tired of getting so many complaints. Ahmad was one of the managers who stands out because he tried to make it right, so I am appreciative of that, but wow, the rooms and especially the bathrooms were really, really bad. The pool area was pretty nice and the location is good. The F&B places are ok, but overpriced for what they are.
The pool when it was open and the lobby lounge areas
The pool was closed at random times. Two consecutive in the late afternoon probably for maintenance or cleaning but we were told it was because iguanas were going to the bathroom in it. Ridiculous. If it’s for maintenance then let guests know ahead of time. The room wasn’t very clean either and hot water was iffy. The mini fridge was in the bathroom which was a bit odd
The location is exceptional but its own beach and snorkeling bay were fantastic! Nice flat calm water for any water activity yet protected from waves and rocky shoreline on the other side of the property for gorgeous views and ambiance. Great pools and a selection of bars, cafes to choose from. The pedestrian bridge connecting to the Hilton Garden Inn doubles your amenities!
We are returning customers and choose this hotel for its amenities and oceanfront rooms with balconies and views, which are fantastic, however the hotel is showing some wear and tear and in need of some cleaning and cosmetic touch up. Functionally, everything was comfortable and worked great, and we love the staff!!
We stayed at the Condado Plaza for a week while vacationing in San Juan, and overall we had a great trip. I try to judge a hotel by the overall experience instead of letting one or two issues define the entire stay, and there was a lot to like here. The biggest selling point for us was the location. If you're the type of person who likes to get out and explore instead of spending your entire vacation at the resort, this is a great home base. Condado is very walkable with plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to do nearby, and Old San Juan is only about a 10-15 minute drive away. Our room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. There was a slight musty smell in the room and some mildew on the balcony, but considering the hotel sits right on the ocean in a tropical climate, I didn't really see that as a cleanliness issue. It just seemed like part of staying at an oceanfront property. One thing that did surprise us was the bathroom design. The glass shower in the middle of the room was actually pretty neat, but there didn't seem to be any exhaust fan or ventilation, so the bathroom stayed humid after showers. The sliding bathroom doors also leave some gaps, so they don't provide complete privacy. It wasn't a huge issue for us, but it's something to keep in mind if you're sharing a room with friends or older kids. What impressed me the most was the staff. Several times I started to do something myself and an employee politely stopped me and insisted on doing it because, as they put it, "that's our job." It never felt fake or forced—they genuinely seemed to care that guests had a good experience. Housekeeping was also friendly and accommodating throughout the week. The beach area was one of our favorite parts of the property. The protected cove was beautiful and a great place to relax or swim. We also spent quite a bit of time at the main pool, which has a swim-up bar, a large hot tub, a deep saltwater pool, and a nice grassy area with giant chess and oversized Jenga. There was a DJ most evenings playing music that fit the atmosphere well. It was lively without being over the top. We also had access to the pools at the sister hotel across the street, but honestly enjoyed this one so much that we never felt the need to go over there. One amenity we really appreciated was the guest laundry room. We always try to wash clothes before heading home if there's a convenient laundry facility, and this one was clean, the machines worked well, and they even had a change machine along with detergent and fabric softener available for purchase. It's a small thing, but for anyone staying several days it's a really nice convenience. Having a Starbucks attached to the hotel was another plus. They were consistently fast and friendly every morning. Now for the biggest downside, and honestly the reason I would think twice before booking here again unless it's been fixed: the elevators. Before booking, I had read several reviews mentioning elevator problems. Those reviews were months old, and management had responded saying they were working on the issue, so I assumed it had been resolved. Unfortunately, the same elevator people were talking about was still out of service during our entire stay. That left one main lobby elevator and the pool elevator serving the hotel. The pool elevator was incredibly slow and seemed to stop on nearly every floor whether anyone had called it or not. Getting between the room, lobby, pool, parking garage, or restaurants often involved waiting much longer than it should have. More than once we simply gave up and took the stairs. For us, it was mostly an inconvenience, but over the course of a week those extra waits really add up. If you have mobility issues, travel with a stroller, or have difficulty using stairs, I think this could have a much bigger impact on your stay. The self-parking process also felt more complicated than it needed to be. You drive into the garage, pull a ticket, find a parking spot, and then have to walk back to the valet desk to fill out a paper form so the parking can be charged to your room. Once we figured it out, it wasn't difficult, but it seemed like a process that could be simplified. We also noticed that the spa and the second-floor restaurant never seemed to be open while we were there. Maybe it was seasonal or maybe we just missed the hours, but there wasn't any signage explaining it. If those amenities are important to you, I'd recommend asking about them before your trip. I also have to agree with other reviewers about the food and drink prices. I expect to pay more at a hotel—that's just part of staying at a resort. But with so many great restaurants within walking distance, it was hard to justify paying the premium. We ended up eating off the property most of the time and never regretted it. Our only disappointing interaction was at the small coffee shop inside the hotel. I asked for a cup of coffee and was simply told, "We don't have that." Looking at the menu, I ordered an Americano, which was basically what I wanted anyway. I've had that happen at other coffee shops before, and usually the barista will say, "An Americano is probably what you're looking for." It wasn't a huge deal, just not the same level of service we experienced everywhere else at the hotel. One last tip that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. If you're renting a car, be prepared for San Juan traffic. Let's just say the rules of the road seem to be more of a suggestion than a requirement. If aggressive city driving isn't your thing, Uber is plentiful and might make your vacation a little less stressful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and made some great memories here. The location, beach, pool area, comfortable rooms, and especially the staff made this a hotel we'd like to recommend. Unfortunately, the elevator situation had a much bigger impact on our vacation than I expected. If I knew those issues had been resolved, I would gladly stay here again. As things stand today, though, I'd probably choose another hotel simply because I don't want to spend part of every day waiting to get around.
Cuarto inundado de agua Precio alto No lo recomendaría
Nice rooms, nice pool and nice and friendly employs.
It was a great location on the beach. There was a lot of security. I felt safe. It was a laid back atmosphere. My room was clean but outdated. It's time for a paint job, a coffee pot, and a microwave. The pool area was lively. I enjoyed the jacuzzi.
The location and views were great.
Rooms were on different floors and had a strong mold odor.
The hotel is on the ocean, and a bay. There are two nice pools, and a hot tub on the grounds. There is a bar in one of the pools that make great drinks, just be wary about how much you spend, we went over 200 in just a few hours (but they tasted so good). Just outside the gate is a small beach. Lawn chairs and umbrellas are provided to guests. Being snorkeling gear. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. Old San Juan is a 15 minute scooter ride away. I imagine the hotel was one amazing, but it has some disrepair. The two main elevators broke, so guests used the service elevators. Not a bad thing, it is what it is. Staff were good and guests just moved past it. I am here during Stanley cup finals, NBA finals and FIFA. The rooms do NOT have cable to watch any. You can watch QVC, tlc, mtv, tcm... But if you want a game, go to the lobby or to a bar. The staff were really great. Helpful and honest. My wife left her wedding ring in the room when we checked out and it was waiting for us at the front desk. Recommendation, call and ask for a room on the ocean side, it is quieter than the street side. Also, get a room with a balcony. The tenth floor does not offer them.
Location-Beautiful Hotel- Clean, good design, picturesque Atmosphere- Musical & Lively Rooms- Oceanside Balcony is calming listening to the Ocean. The bathroom door design has issues. Sliding, doesn’t close all the way so not private! Something to consider with who you are traveling with. Value- typical however make sure to ask about all the FEES! Breakfast 30 per person per day. Added property fee $197! Recommended don’t rent a car but if you do Parking FEES- self park 25 dollars per day VALET- (says 28 it’s 32 per day) Their Valet Attendants are the best. Hold your door open and everything, very kind*** :). The Valet also saved our lives and pointed out that we were given a car with no brakes! Front desk- awesome and courteous, helped out Conceriege Super knowledgeable and kind Notes of improvement- elevators were not working all the time but there were back up elevators. Room came with a fridge but no microwave however the hotel let us use the staff one. Would stay again Pools and beach area were the best amenities and the salt pool was never crowded
The location was perfect. The pools and beach are were clean and there was always plenty of seating. The staff was so kind and helpful. The room set up was odd. Coffee and mini fridge are in the bathroom… The room though was clean and very comfortable.
It was quite and friendly
Place was falling apart safe ain’t work in room after it was addressed first day roaches in the room and I have pictures
Location
The attitude of some staff and the air conditioning needs to be better
The location is great, and the pools/beach access is nice.
The cleaning is the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. We stayed from May 29th-June 5th. We never had our shower cleaned, we never had the toilet cleaned. There wasn’t even a toilet brush for us to do it ourselves if we wanted to. The sink of the bathroom was cleaned only once. The sheets weren’t changed, I had to ask them for clean sheets and they brought it up. When they made the bed it wasn’t made properly. We would have the cleaning staff knocking on the door wanting to come in multiple times. We would let them know when we’re leaving but would feel a sense of urgency to get out of the room for the cleaning. But the cleaning is nothing, all they do is mop. Except yesterday. Yesterday on June 4th. We received ZERO CLEANING. We got a knock on our door at 10, told the cleaning lady we would be leaving at 11. Left around 11, and came back around 540pm. We saw no one came back to clean. Floors and bathroom dirty, bed wasn’t made. Nothing was organized. We never had our things organized or the room dusted. Overall the cleaning is a 0 out of 10. Because there wasn’t much cleaning that was done, and there were days with no cleaning at all. The glass in the shower wasn’t even cleaned at all. Once, they did take some of the empty shampoo and soap bottles out. But there were days we didn’t even get those hygiene samples. Unfortunately, I will be back to PR but I don’t think I can stay at this hotel. It is also very outdated for the insane price and lack of cleaning that we had. Even the walls were dirty. We also only received new towels once. And majority of the time they would leave us dirty towels.
Uber Eats Pick up area needs to be proper identified so we driver have less security arguments.
Beach access near water and port
Front desk staff not very helpful
I checked into room 530. Unfortunately, I’m was bit disappointed with the condition of the room. There appeared to be dirt on the door and walls, hair on the floor, and the curtains were broken. As a travel advisor, I was hoping to do a room tour and showcase the property positively, but in its current condition the room was below expectations. The only pro was the ocean front view.
The staff was great was always checking on our stay the pool was amazing the music was the best the DJ cater to all genres the bar staff were very friendly and made the best drinks all our concerns were taken care immediately even gave us a voucher we had a great breakfast on them I loved that.
The pluses for this hotel… great location, salt water pool, private beach access, on site rental car agency, spacious rooms, wonderful view from the balcony room 740 The minuses. Nasty, dirty furniture… stains on couch that look like from unthinkable actions, moldy shower, ocean view blocked by cloudy windows and doors. Texted, called and went to the front desk regarding issues in the room and was told, “we’re going through a remodel and all the furniture looks like that, but we’ll send housekeeping up to your room.” House keeping never showed up. I expect much more from the Hilton brand!
Liked the pool and beach area and the location of the hotel. Hotel and the rooms were dated and need a bit of refresh.
One of the two main passenger elevators was out of service for our entire stay. On the weekend of our stay when the hotel was full the wait time for an elevator was a excessive.
Everything was beautiful and in walking distance. Waking up to the beautiful beach was amazing
The location
It’s Lost some Luster
Stolen Sunglasses by Housekeeping On May 9, I returned to my room and found that my designer sunglasses were missing from my nightstand. Housekeeping had already cleaned the room, and part of the sunglasses set was left behind, making it very clear something had happened while staff was inside which I showed security. I immediately went to security and filed a report. I was told I would receive some type of resolution within 48 hours. It is now May 13, and after over 50 phone calls, an email sent more than 72 hours ago, and a voicemail left over 96 hours ago, I have received absolutely no communication from management. I have also used the hotel’s texting line multiple times. Each time, I was told my messages were being passed along to management, but still, no response. At this point, it feels like I am being completely ignored. During the report, I was asked if I had placed my sunglasses in the in-room safe. No, I did not, because I expect a hotel, especially one that claims to be four-star, to have trustworthy staff. Guests should not feel like they need to lock up every single belonging just to prevent theft. The lack of accountability, communication, and urgency from this hotel is beyond disappointing. I have included screenshots of all my attempts to get a response. This experience has completely destroyed my trust, and I would not recommend staying here.
La vista, la tranquilidad ,el trato amable del personal y la comodidad.
No tengo ninguna queja
Awesome place to stay ,staff was the best so friendly definitely recommend staying here there’s nothing bad I can say about this place
Forget about calling the hotel for help. It was next to impossible. I called many times and the front desk would pick up and hang up. I even called the Hilton Diamond desk for help, and they could not get through to the hotel. After almost 40 minutes of calling, going through prompts and getting hung up on finally got through to a manager named Jose. I tried to explain the issue to him and he was very condescending. I went ahead and booked our 7-day trip with a different hotel.
Check the blankets against light before you sleep in the beds. I got a severe allergic reaction to the mold in the blanket. I didn't realize it was from the blanket until my friend held it up to the sun. She used to be a hotel cleaner. The second blanket is the blanket on my friends bed. I missed out on 2 days of our vacation because of this blanket.
The location was good and the staff was nice. Management was very accommodating when issues arose.
Bugs in the bed. Had to switch rooms twice.
Lobby was beautiful and love the outside hot tube
Bed mattress had a dent in the middle. My husband have back problems and sleeping on that mattress made it worse! Had to wait a long period of time for the elevator because only one was working . No good selection channels to watch on TV. No microwave in the room. No free breakfast. Internet pictures was very deceiving! Parking should have been included in the stay. Water pressure was very low.
The location is wonderful
It was showing its age and was looking like it needed a lot of repairs. We’ve stayed there a few other times and some of the restaurants and other things were closed.
The view was amazing, the beds were comfortable, the room was spacious, the shower was great, grounds were lovely, the pools were clean and the staff was very helpful and nice.
There was only a small lamp to light the room at night and coffee in the room was never replenished. I had to ask for cups and no water bottles were supplied in the room. That being said, I would rebook this hotel in a minute because overall these are small things and this place is truly awesome. :)
The condado area.
The dirty bathroom glass doors issue the hotel has, not many options to compensate me, and right now the release the hold and jace not charged my account accordingly. This last one may cause me issues if any other items come in. I will never stay there again. Very bad and stressful experience.
From the moment you arrive, the property feels dark, outdated, and poorly maintained. The exterior signage looks worn and dirty, and the drop-off area is uninviting. The biggest issue is the smell. The lobby had a strong odor that resembled sewage. The air felt damp and stale, and it immediately raised concerns about cleanliness throughout the property. When I went up to a friend’s room, I saw visible mold on the curtains, grime in the bathroom, and a shower that did not feel sanitary. The shower floor had visible grime and buildup, and the overall condition made it feel unsafe to use without shower shoes. The balcony was worn, the railings were rickety, and there was mildew throughout the space. When I later checked into my own room, I saw similar issues: mold, mildew, and visible dirt and deterioration. The shower floor again had noticeable grime, and the setup of the room was also concerning, including a coffee station placed inside the bathroom area, which felt unhygienic. Within minutes, I went back to the front desk. What was most concerning is that the staff acknowledged the condition of the hotel, including the odor and that the property is outdated and in need of renovation. I was told I could leave without being charged, which I did immediately. I relocated to the Hilton Garden Inn San Juan Condado across the street, and the difference was immediate. It was clean, bright, and well maintained. The staff there, especially a manager named Keisha, were incredibly helpful and turned the situation around. The condition of The Condado Plaza Hotel reflects serious issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and basic standards, and raises concerns about potential health and safety violations. I would not recommend staying at this property.
Great Trip. Hotel staff very nice & great location on Condado Beach. My older teens can't wait to go back. It was a winning vacation. Hotel is ocean front. The beach in front of the hotel is small, but the ocean is calm. It's in a cove area (many other areas of Condado the ocean is too rough to swim due to rip currents). Hotel has 2 pools. One with a waterside & swim up bar and another with a salt water pool with a hot tub next to it. Food at the pool was good & staff was great (shout out to Gabbie). The Condado Plaza also has a breakfast coffee shop which had yogurts/breakfast sandwiches in the morning, a store with souvenirs/snacks/drinks, an inside hotel bar area that opens at night and a Starbucks right outside (a Bonus for the kids). This hotel is connected via sky bridge to the Hilton Garden Inn (which looks like it was renovated within the last few years). The Hilton Garden Inn has a restaurant that serves breakfast (Ohrno Barbacoa Modena) and another restaurant that we had dinner outside (Azahar Modern Tasca). Both were good. The Condado plaza hotel is in a great location with amazing ocean views. You can easily walk to restaurants (Havana was great) or if you don't feel like walking ubers were easy to get and normal prices. All the hotel staff are great too. I was a tad bit nervous staying here after reading other reviews as it's an older hotel. The hotel doesn't have room service & elevators can be slow. As other's have mentioned the bathroom also has the refrigerator and safe in it. It's a little odd location but you get used to it. I heard the hotel is slated for a refurbishment at some point but I would definitely stay here again in its current state due to staff, location at calm beach, easy walking to restaurants, comfy beds, great views, available adjoining rooms & close uber rides to Old San Juan and airport.
Location and pool were great
Was supposed to have 2 rooms with balconies and we’re not given a full balcony like our friends did that booked directly with the hotel
Will come back and stay here in ever in PR again. Loved the option of pools and lagoon. The views were amazing. Staff was great. Location great. It might be a little rundown but most hotels are. I’m not picky though!
The breakfast had a variety of foods to choose from. The food was delicious.
We were very satisfied with everything.
This hotel is in very poor condition and is insanely overpriced for what it offers. Most of the outdoor decks were closed off because the railings are falling apart, the chairs at the pool were ripped, the couches and chairs on the decks were ripped and sagging, there is rust and wood rot all over the exterior. We were expecting a traditional beach, as advertised. The public beach is adjacent to the hotel, next to a busy road, has trash all over the sand, and is perhaps the size of half a basketball court. The lounge chairs on the beach were falling apart and roped off every time we were there so we couldn't use them. The restaurants are across the street at the Garden Inn. The closet and coffee station/minifridge are in the bathroom. The lobby is nice and updated. Do not come to this hotel expecting a resort, or even a pleasant, experience.
The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. The hotel was very clean.
We loved the ocean view from our room.
Over night stay located in cool spot N San Juan. About 20 mins from SJU airport plenty to do around the area great balcony view.
La ubicacion
Los muebles y cortinas de la habitscion en regular estado. Materiales poco higiénicos. El aseo muy por encima
Staff
Cold shower One elevator had to wait long periods of time Needs serious upgrade
Location to the beach
Dated, and could use some TLC
My family and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night before our cruise. The Condado Plaza Hotel is under the Hilton Name. We thought Hilton upheld a Standard.. Very dissapointed in our stay. We paid a lot of money for our rooms... The rooms did not feel clean, floor was sticky. Our room was missing a sofa so no where to sit. Bathroom needed maintence attention. The lobby coffee bar opened 30 minutes late. The young girl working needed help, she seemed lost at making coffee and ringing up our order. We left and went to Starbucks. I would not recommend this hotel...
The property was nice.
The staff stole from my room.
AMAZING. Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Easy access to activities in the area with a great private beach right outside the hotel. If I could give any recommendations to anyone it would be "ask for Daisy" at the bar. She was AMAZING! Great place to stay, a very accessible area to go on excursions in the old town or even outside the city.
The staff and location was wonderful
Definitely needed updating
Great location, nice amenities. A little dated but not bad. Taxi stand out front was very convenient. Only negative, they blast music at the pool at night.
beach area & pool
limited resturant options and lobby bar. Gym needs improvements and rooms need to be updated due to weather damage from recent storms.
I had an amazing stay in San Juan, Puerto Rico! Both the Condado Plaza by Hilton and the Hilton Garden Inn offer incredible quality, with attentive and welcoming staff who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Every interaction felt personal and genuine. This time I stayed in a renovated room, and what a beautiful space, modern, bright, and incredibly comfortable. The views from the rooms and common areas are absolutely breathtaking, whether it’s the sparkling ocean, the city skyline, or the sunsets. The staff were an absolute highlight, so professional and friendly. Special thanks to Kimberly at Reception, Kimberly at the Pool, and the smile of the hotel, Mr. Cesar Camacho, truly the best! Also, the best Piña Colada in San Juan ! I highly recommend both the Condado Plaza by Hilton and the Hilton Garden Inn for anyone looking for top-notch service and unforgettable scenery. Truly a five-star experience! Antonio | Vienna
Fifth time staying at this property. We love the pool area. This hotel is easy. No long walks to get anywhere on property. Staff for the most part is very friendly. Gretchen in pool bar area always super friendly/professional. 10 minute walk to dozens of amazing restaurants. This is a no frills establishment but is charming and we look forward to returning.
The room was great. The beach is nice there because it’s protected and safe to swim.
Nothing
Went with my friend for the week. The staff was nice. Ismael was rememberable. Easy commute to video San Juan, T-Mobile. Calle Serra, playcita. Good location. The elevators were weird but eventually you get to your floor. Couldn't see the floor you pressed and Didn't stop and went up and down a lot . And a little loud at night. Overall good property. Good music at the pool. The pool was closed 2 days for cleaning during peak times 12-3 which is nuts but just went to beach.
Great experience !!! Super friendly staff very helpful with anything you need. Very clean and great environment a lot to do in the hotel ! :) def recommend a 10/10
I attempted to check in online and noticed I was booked for two rooms instead of one. I called the hotel to clarify. A woman answered and initially seemed helpful but placed me on hold and never returned. I tried calling several more times with no answer. Upon arrival, I informed the front desk that I had been left on hold earlier. The staff member showed no concern and continued with his tasks. Since we arrived early, he stated he would notify me when the room was ready — that notification never came. While waiting, we went to the pool area. I ordered a margarita that was undrinkable and had to order something else. Kimberly, our waitress, was pleasant and accommodating — she was one of the few positives of the stay. The wings were decent, but the nachos were poorly prepared, the hummus was mediocre, and the pita bread tasted stale. At 4:00 p.m., we returned to the front desk to check on the status of our room since we were never notified and that was the oficial check-in time and was finally given a key. Only one elevator was working, and wait times were excessive. The hotel itself is in serious need of renovations. Hilton should reconsider allowing its name to be associated with this property. The hallway carpets were stained and had an unpleasant odor. The door panel to our room was broken, although we were still able to access the room. The photos on the website are misleading and do not accurately reflect the current condition of the property. The bathroom was a decent size; however, I was surprised to find the refrigerator and coffee maker placed inside the bathroom, which I personally found unsanitary. Additionally, exposed cables under the desk appeared to be a potential safety hazard. The only positives were the ocean view from the 9th floor and direct beach access. Overall, this hotel is not worth the price. I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere.
The Condado Plaza Hotel is such a beautiful place to stay. There are so many little places to sit and relax, beautiful scenery and swimming opportunities. We loved it!
This hotel needs lots of work, hallway carpet old and stained. Patio furniture and light by the bed was rusty. One elevator not working, guest had to use service elevator to get to the lobby. Very poor value for what you pay and get.
This hotel needs to improve and update the outside facilities. The pool is very tired! There is a tiny outside pool bar with broken seats. There is only a few random chairs next to the bar. The music was very loud and not too much variety. The DJ played mostly Puerto Rican music. Also, there was only one working elevator. Thankfully, we could go next door to the Hilton Garden pool and restaurant.
Awful trip. Paid in full over a month before our stay. Checked in online before arrival. Got stuck at PHL airport because of an ice storm. Was on the plane from 9pm-6:30 am between delays and having to people deboard. Got to the hotel at 7:15am. Was told they do not have a room for us, after 7am they give the room away if you are not physically there. Although, if we had called them they would have held the room. At the same time, we were told they over booked by 18 rooms. Sat in the lobby with our two young kids for over 2 hours trying to figure out what to do since they told us we were out of luck, there was nothing they could. No other hotels had availably. A manager clocked in, and they "found" us a room. the lock part on the door was missing, we could not enter the room. Go back down to the lobby, they hand us ANOTHER room key. We go to this other room and were able to get in. The room was NOT clean. Hairs on the floor, table not wiped, bathroom was not wiped down. The beds were made, it was good enough. At that point we had been traveling for over 12 hours with littles. We needed showers and a nap. I've contacted HILTON, OVER THREE times. No response to any emails (I tried different emails as well). I did an online chat, they said they would forward to the appropriate department. Have not heard back from anyone. I do not know how they are still under the Hilton brand. It was by far not up par with how Hilton represents themselves. Hilton.... DO BETTER
Just awful. The room floors were extremely slippery and felt slimy, which was honestly unsafe. Constant noise from slamming doors made it impossible to rest. Could hear conversations in next room as well as bathroom didn’t have door just sliders that were so squeaky waking everyone up if someone used at night. Service was poor overall, including an unfriendly bartender. Wait times were excessive — 20+ minutes just to get coffee (which cost $6–$10 per cup). No complimentary coffee anywhere, which is surprising for a hotel. The pool area was in bad shape: broken seats at the pool bar and extremely loud, blasting music that made it unpleasant rather than relaxing. The adjoining beach was disgusting and smelled strongly like urine — truly gross. To make matters worse, older reviews from months ago mentioned a broken elevator — and it was still broken during our stay. Guests were forced to use a service elevator that was dirty and unpleasant. Overall, poor maintenance, bad service, and zero attention to guest comfort. Would not stay here again.
I am arriving Thursday, February 5. For the past 3 days I’ve called the hotel direct line at 1-787-721-1000 and at 1-787-977-4769. NO ANSWER. I called Hilton reservation and they too couldn’t get someone to answer the phone. Not even the manager. WHY ARE YOU NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE? I just want to get confirmation that I will be getting the room # I selected. I read more negative reviews for this hotel than any hotel I’ve stayed. But my sister wanted to stay here for whatever reason. I hope I enjoy my stay despite all the negative reviews. I will write another review after my trip.
