Great hotel. Love the pool and location

This has been the best hotel thus far! The check in was 10/10 and I was welcome with a bottle champagne since it was my sisters birthday. Room was clean and beautiful.

Overall, my stay wasn't bad; it was just a standard, normal hotel experience. I want to highlight that the valet and front desk staff were very nice and welcoming throughout our visit. However, housekeeping could definitely do a much better job, especially when it comes to their timing. It would be a huge improvement if they cleaned the rooms earlier in the day. It was frustrating to come back from the beach wanting to relax in our room, only to encounter housekeeping still working and having to go back downstairs to wait for them to finish. The quality of the cleaning was also pretty disappointing. On one occasion, instead of putting fresh towels where they actually belong, they just folded them and left them sitting on top of the toilet. They also failed to empty our trash. Worst of all, the floors were not cleaned a single time during our stay. Some sand and a spill that happened on our very first day were still sitting on the floor the day we checked out. It’s a fine hotel with good customer service at the front, but the housekeeping team really needs to step up their attention to detail and timing.

Beautiful place to stay! Make sure to get the ocean view. The food is great and the staff are accommodating. The bathroom space is a little small for me and the bed is low to the ground. I’m 6’4” so it’s a little uncomfortable, but the rooms are nice and modern.

Only thing I didn't like was the shower not having a door. The bathroom floor was always wet and it was pretty annoying. Other than that it was a great stay.

Pool music too loud to enjoy

Unfortunately I wouldn’t return. We arrived early and were told we could t check im until closer to 4pm and we’d receive a call if a room became available prior too or when it was ready. Which is fine I went to the pool and relaxed but before I knew it 440 rolled around and no call on my room. Once I got to my room it was unbearably humid and warm. An engineer came to fix the a.c and it seemed to be cooler but not for long. By the night time it was so hot we couldn’t breathe! The next day we waited for a manager to arrive to be relocated which we were. The difference was insane! The pool was nice just small and only the one. Also this is not a swimmable beach keep that in mind. The drinks are light. So don’t expect to get a buzz unless you’re about 4 $14 drinks in. Out side of the pool staff which were really nice, the other staff was somewhat disconnected. They rarely spoke at the front door, were on their phones, and all more engaged with each other than the guest. Idk maybe I’m used to a more upscale service.

Hotel was decent. Upgraded to ocean view. 3 out of the 4 nights food from other guest was constantly left by our door. Staff was informed multiple times took a while to get it cleaned up each time.

Upon check-in, our group was told that the resort fee included breakfast valued at $45 per day. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be true, which was very disappointing. My concerns continued throughout the stay. On the first day, a housekeeper attempted to enter my room despite my "Do Not Disturb" sign being displayed. When I came to the door, she apologized and left. Later in the stay, after spending the day at the pool, I returned to my room and found that my key card no longer worked. I had to go to the front desk to have it reprogrammed. When I returned to the room, I discovered that the TV settings had been altered, indicating that someone had entered my room while the "Do Not Disturb" sign was on the door. I went back to the front desk to ask what had happened. The employee told me I would need to speak with a manager. The first manager explained that maintenance had entered the room to update the TV. I asked why no one had contacted me beforehand so I could be present. He said he had just arrived and needed to investigate further. When I returned later, another manager told me that maintenance had performed software updates and that a notification had been sent to me through WhatsApp. However, I was never informed that WhatsApp would be used for hotel communications, and I do not even have WhatsApp installed. I showed the manager the only message I had received, which was a check-in message sent days earlier. What makes this even more frustrating is that before my arrival I received numerous emails promoting Pride Week events, yet somehow there was no effective communication regarding staff entering my room. Entering a guest's room while a "Do Not Disturb" sign is displayed without proper notification is unacceptable. Overall, there were too many surprises, too many communication failures, and a lack of follow-through from hotel staff. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

The pool area and rooms are perfect.

The bar staff at the pool even when there were three of them didn’t offer me a drink, clear plates or cups. If I’m paying a higher price I expect a higher service.

Pool was nice size and plenty of lounge chairs. View was amazing and easily accessible to the beach for beautiful photos.

The poolside service was not great as it took several times to re-order food because the server forgot to submit to kitchen. Often times we felt rudeness from pool side staff.

Location was great. It’s a nice little boutique hotel with a classy feel. Food was good. Pool was nice. Beach felt like our own little private beach. Hotel staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. The lower review is for a few things — all related to issues with room access. 1: the door handle for my bathroom was loose and I got locked in the bathroom of my hotel room. Maintenance did respond quickly and got me out quickly. 2) the battery for my room died and I couldn’t get access to my room. I was left waiting in the hallway for over 20 min (being told someone was coming right up in just a few minutes) and by the time I was able to get in and change, it was too late for me to gain access to the beach from the hotel. 3) the hotel was great and accommodated my late check out request for 12:30p. However, when I went back to my room just after 12, my key card no longer worked. If maintenance hadn’t been on the floor already, who knows how I would have had to wait potentially making the time right to get to the airport. 4) I was told I would be emailed my receipt but still have not received anything 8 hours later. 5) the view of the bay from my room window was beautiful. That’s the upgrade I paid for. However, with the bed on the chosen side of the wall, it left me looking at another building and completely missing the stunning view. Had the beds been on the opposite wall, I could have been waking to a beautiful bay view. Seems a waste and poor planning.

Exceptional hotel with amazing ocean views and in the best neighborhood in San Juan. You can walk to so many restaurants and bars! We received excellent service at their restaurant as well. Yonara went above and beyond to accommodate our large group!! She is amazing!! We had a group of 10 staying at the hotel and we all enjoyed our stay!!!

The location is perfect for Condado restaurants and Old San Juan. Views of the ocean are fabulous and the pool area is relaxing and fun

My boyfriend and I wanted to celebrate his birthday and enjoy our little lover’s getaway to Puerto Rico. Sadly, our trip to Puerto Rico was bittersweet because of the terrible experience we had at the Condado Ocean Club. I rarely leave negative reviews, but Condado Ocean Club was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had. I feel obligated to warn future guests. If you rent a car, don’t. It’s $30/day to park your car. When I found out about the unforeseen cost I called to speak with management. I inquired if guests of the hotel would receive complimentary parking. The gentleman replied, no. When I asked if there was a place for free parking, the gentleman laughed and said, “No. There’s no free parking in Condado”. Staff are dismissive and unhelpful. This set the bar real low considering this all occurred during check-in. The room we stayed in was a king size bed-ocean view. The “ocean view” room was mediocre at best — stained furniture, minimal amenities, no complimentary water, and nowhere near worth the price. Window cleaners blocking our view during prime sunlight hours, and unscheduled elevator maintenance and we were on the sixth floor! The stairwell lacked air conditioning! It was not my idea of staying active on vacation. At check in we received notice that the hotel had a scheduled maintenance for the following morning to replace the batteries on all the room doors. Within a 36 hour period we were locked out multiple times, forced to repeatedly replace wristbands, and spent hours dealing with maintenance issues instead of enjoying our vacation. One lock issue caused us to miss an excursion entirely and another lock issue took over 45 minutes to fix. Instead of enjoying our last night in PR we were stuck sitting on the floor in the hallway late at night. At this point I requested to speak with the manager. I was informed the manager would follow up in the morning during check out. The manager in fact did not. Management showed little concern, urgency, or accountability throughout the entire ordeal. Any compensation that was offered came only after repeated complaints, and it felt more like an attempt at damage control than a sincere effort to provide good customer care. A food and beverage credit was offered as well. We used the credit at the restaurant. I cannot speak on the entire menu but the pancakes were bland and the eggs were inedible. I won’t be returning, and I would not recommend to friends and family. I do hope future customers receive better treatment than I did.

This is a great small hotel with a really nice small bar and restaurant inside and a pool bar on the outside. The pool is very nice and has quite a few seating areas. The hotel is adults only which is really nice. It's rockin' on the weekends with a DJ and lots of people. The wind break from the ocean helps, but it's typically very windy. You do have access to a small beach and the ocean. It's very quaint. The rooms are really nice, my only compliant is the "Refrigerator" looking "Icebox". It's not an acual refrigerator despite looking like one and having drinks in it. Weird. The coffee make is very basic, burt worked fine. Service from the staff was excellent and I would definitely recommend the hotel. It's in a great location to be on the beach and still have access to Old San Juan (the best part of Puerto Rico in my opinion).

Smell of bleach in the lobby area everyday I was there (4 nights). Constantly had to wait for the staff to be available to assist. 2-3 start service for a pricy hotel.

There was kids on the property even though it’s considered adults only . They were well behaved so it didn’t bother us.

Paid 650.00 per night and was given a handicap room with an open shower. Extremely wet, had to use all our towels to dry floor every night. Made it very uncomfortable throughout the evening and after morning shower as well.

Noise in the hall every night. Not enough chairs for half the guests at very tiny pool. Room very worn out. Halls and public spaces dirty. When I checked out a day early the clerk asked if everything was OK. I said no. He said ok. Do not book this place.

Pool and outdoor area are very small and they don’t have enough chairs for guests. The common area in the hotel are also cramped. The dining area is quite nice. Staff seems stressed and service was hard to get. The outdoor bar opens after 11 and closes at 5. Although they have staff in the pool area they were selective who they served. Seems they focused on young pretty girls. Too bad they don’t know that old rich dudes give big tips. The first day we got moved from our cabana by some guy who claimed to be in charge although he had no idea or uniform. We determined he wanted our cabana so he could get done young girls nearer to where his other friends were. It turns out he is an employee but totally unprofessional and kind of creepy. The hotel is in need of renovation. Soiled and rusty furniture. It’s high quality (Cane-line) but needs paint and new cushions. Some of the lounge chairs were actually broken. The room was nice.

This hotel defies the concept of boutique hospitality in all ways possible. Service was terrible, employees were rude and exhibited attitude, room was dirty, clientele was trashy, room service nonexistent, postage stamp sized pool was crowded, staff ignored you at bar when you tried to order a drink, latino rap music was played at ear shattering level at pool to the point of obliterating any chance at conversation, staff were stingy with towels at pool and it requires a hunger game mentality to procure pool lounge chairs which quickly became fully shaded from sun by 2:30 pm due to adjacent high rise buildings. Spare yourself the agony and stay at a real hotel even if it costs $3k a night during high season. At least you will get your money’s worth. Oh, and did i mention that the food you can order from the hotel’s sole functioning kitchen (do not fall for the false advertising on their website that lists 3 separate restaurants) is basically inedible ? Made worse only by their laughably five star restaurant-pricing. The crowning piece-de-resistance is the “manager’s” attempt to defend the bartender’s overcharged bill by advising us we had “been drinking all day”.

I did not see the value in what we paid. Slow, apathetic service. Main areas needed deep cleaning and attention. Bathroom was small but room was nice I guess…just very underwhelmed and would not return to this hotel.

Had a lovely stay at Condado Ocean Club. The staff were absolutely lovely and super accommodating. We slept in one day, and they did call even though we had DND on, just to check if we wanted our room cleaned, not a big deal. The bathroom does get really wet and steamy but also not a big deal. Our room was right next to the elevator and I worried about noise as a light sleeper, but surprisingly did not hear any noise. The decor is really nice Super centrally located, 10 minute Uber to Old San Juan.

Nice place, friendly employees, nice views and pool, clean , only issue is the smell of sewer on the 9th floor. Never had this happen before but I wouldn’t come back.

I loved the view of the beach from my window. I loved the location. I loved how friendly most of the staff were. I loved how room service came to clean daily.

I did not like how they charge for everything. I did not feel like this hotel was worth the $300+ fee per night that I paid. There’s no refrigerator in the room. No microwave. I did not see a direct access to The beach. No outside food/drinks are allowed by the pool. The restaurant takes forever to serve you even though there was plenty of staff. The Friday (1.2.2026) day shift staff of men by the bar gave me racist vibes. For example: a colored woman ordered some food, she asked for some ketchup & instead of the guy handing it to her he set it down by the cash register thats in the middle of the floor when you walk in & walked off. The lady walked from the bar, said “thank you” (he ignored her) & picked it up & went back to her table. I was looking like, “Oh is this how they treat their high paying customers in here?” That was the first and last time that I ate in there. Also, when I first got there, took a shower, tell me why the handle broke off the shower??? But the good part about it, they sent someone immediately in there to fix it. They also have a mini bar in the room with beverages sitting in a HOT cooler. Again, I was looking like why would they leave hot beverages in a cooler thats not cooling properly and expect me to drink it? This place is definitely not worth the money to me. I’ve stayed in better resorts.

Incredible sea views from both the room and the pool, with the ocean right in front of you. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, and the adults-only setup makes it feel calm and grown-up. Staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and everything felt well run. A great place to unwind in Condado. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Condado Ocean Club had a few bright spots, but overall it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The best part of the experience was, without question, the people who showed up and did their jobs with genuine care. The breakfast wait staff was consistently warm, attentive, and welcoming, and, Angel, who cleaned our room did an excellent job every day. Their effort truly stood out. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay had several drawbacks. Despite being an oceanfront property, there’s no actual beach area to relax on, which was disappointing. The pool area is also far too small for the size of the hotel. Chairs are packed so tightly that you end up sitting just inches from other guests, and the nonstop pounding music makes it difficult to unwind—it’s more headache-inducing than relaxing. If you’re booking a lagoon-facing room, be aware that these rooms do not have balconies, which takes away from the experience, especially given the price point. The front desk staff was another letdown. They didn’t offer helpful recommendations and, more concerning, didn’t seem particularly interested in trying. Many were on their phones, texting or scrolling, rather than engaging with guests who needed assistance. Overall, while a few staff members truly elevated parts of our stay, the hotel’s amenities, atmosphere, and front desk service left a lot to be desired. The Vanderbilt next door would be our choice next time!

La playa en esa zona no es linda, el mar es bravo y casi no hay arena. la mayoría de la gente esta en la piscina que da al mar pero no era la idea que teníamos de estar en la playa, asi que nos fuimos caminando hacia el lado de isla verde.

To be honest, everything was excellent! My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful place. It’s so quiet and peaceful — ADULTS ONLY, which was a huge plus! The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and a great size. The bar was lovely, the view was amazing, and the bed was super comfortable. We also loved having a restaurant right on-site — perfect for breakfast with a gorgeous view or a cozy dinner. The location is ideal: everything is within walking distance, and both the airport and Old Town are just 15 minutes away. The infinity pool is simply outstanding! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We loved everything about this place. Thank you for making our stay so special

What really stood out was the location — the hotel is right on the beach with stunning ocean views. My room was great and very clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing. I appreciated how easy it was to get to nearby restaurants. The hotel restaurant was fine, but I prefer exploring local island food when I travel.

Condado Ocean Club has a few things going for it: the views, the pool, and the staff. I did not have a bad time but I would not stay here again. It's a small, boutique hotel in Condado. While there is not much in the immediate vicinity, a 10-minute walk can prove fruitful and Ubers are available within minutes. Staff is fantastic. From Andres at check-in to Alfredo (an absolute gem) and Juan (I think) on the pool deck, and everyone else we interacted with, the staff were amazing. So friendly and so helpful. We had an ocean view room and the view was perfect. The beds were OK, not great, and had I realized they were low (I need a high bed), I would not have stayed here. Cleanliness is majorly lacking. There were hairs (not ours) in the bathroom. While I never saw a bug, there was a dead bug on the bathroom door frame. Our room never should have passed inspection. The design, while aesthetically pleasing, is not great from a functional standpoint. The shower is walk-in but the handle is under the showerhead. Also, it's a glass half-door, so water was constantly spilling into the main part of the bathroom when we showered. We went through lots of towels because of that. I was excited because the towel rack looked like a warmer as well, but alas, it was not. The only two hooks were behind the bathroom door, as was the rack, so nothing could dry. Our sink did not have a drain cover, so it was hard to wash our clothes. There was one chair for the seating area. A Curio cabinet that hosted the minibar did not close properly and a picture was hung crooked. We did appreciate double luggage racks. However, Condado Ocean Club felt cheap, and I understand that at $350/night, you are only getting a basic hotel and the bare minimum, but I was hoping for a little better. The room was serviced once during our stay and that was a disappointment. No vacuum, no cleaning of the the bathroom/mirror, just trash removal, towel replacement, and beds made. We wanted new sheets and missed that we had to put the placard on the beds, so had to contact housekeeping to get new sheets. Elevators are small and the elevator floors were always dirty. The pool was great. It's an infinity pool overlooking the ocean so we loved it. It was clean (we witnessed morning vacuuming/cleaning of the pool, so that was good). Water was cool so it was refreshing. The food and drink we had from the pool deck were good. However, if you are considering a day pass, don't do it. The cabanas are not worth the price. The cushions/pillows are old and dirty. There was always hair and debris on the deck, even in the cabanas, plus it is super slippery. Ocean Club has very fun vibes. They have events at their restaurant next door, like a rum tasting, and supposedly, a DJ at the pool on weekends. And the staff is great. But I would not return.

Beautiful hotel and amenities, nice rooms. But there are a lot of hidden fees. I would still stay here again, i loved how spacious the rooms were and the nice views.

The area is nice but lacks basic amenities such as a fridge and microwave. Left overs had to be discarded and had to waste money on a meal every day unfortunately because the lack of a fridge.

Great location, nice rooms, great views, fun pool vibe. For the price, you can't beat it. You won't have all of the extra amenities of the neighboring hotels (multiple pools, spa, multiple restaurants, etc) but if you actually want to go out and explore San Juan, you won't need it anyway.

Common spaces are beautiful & unkept . Love that location as so many things are walkable. The rooms need some upkeep/ updating . Ex mold outside our room . Rust on the bathroom mirrors . Slanted TV . We stayed 4 days and our room was cleaned once(I did ask but on the third day they came at 9am ) . Had to keep asking for towels . Overpriced watered down drinks at the bar

I loved that everything was walking distance. The pool with the view of the beach was stunning but what sold me was definitely the floor to ceiling windows in the room with the amazing ocean view. Unforgettable! The staff was super helpful and kind. Won’t be my last time visiting!
